nice man, listen and take notes and you can easily pass
hot in a grungy sort of way
He's just so sexy, even without the hat. And he's a good professor too.

Alright my flock he's pretty cool. A bit cocky, but very interesting and more than fair. And who doesn't love a class that is based upon the slide projectors that tend to break down often. Come, take notes, go to gallery openings, and you'll do great

Gosh he is so damn sexy, if he wasn't old enough to be my dad I would surely take him home!!!! Dr. Pitluga is also a wonderful prof., you need anything he will help.
Dr. Pitluga is pretty cool, he teaches everything from the slide projectors but it is taught well. "Alright my flock..." is said often amoung other funny things, but it keeps your attention. Go to gallery openings, do reviews, study and you'l
great guy
Dang....now he's fine. and a great professor. Highly recommended.
YES- this is how college should be- extra credit and easy tests. do the extra credit and you'll be fine. and yes.. he is fine...i love the way he dresses to class-

he is hilarious and the class is easy youll get an A as long as you go to the extra credit
definitely hit up the extra credit and it's a for sure A
Great prof!! He's funny, interesting, and pretty sexy for his age. Tests are very easy as long as you go to class and take notes. Don't really need the book. Extra credit can't be easier-go to gallery openings and sign your name on the sheet. Great cla
gives notes on one thing and tests on another. he also calls his class his "flock" which is extremely stupid
o man this guys the greates ****in teacher ever, his notes are spot on with his tests, everything is great, highly recommeneded
Do the extra credit and get atleast a C on the test, which you should with out a problem if you come to class and you will get an A for the class

Great class, he is a great teacher who keeps art very exciting, tests are easy too.
Awesome prof!! one of the best i've had at SRU!! wonderful guy outside of the classroom too, always helpful and ready to talk.
go to class take some notes get an A
hes a great teacher and real funny. you need to take lots of notes because some of the important things are not in the book. goto all the art galleries because they help you bump up your grade on the tests and also try to write about the art u see=points+
Wonderful lectures, scrumptious to look at. What more could you ask for in a course like this. Oh, yeah - he knows what he's talking about, too. ;-)
He is such a great teacher, and he isnt to bad to look at too. i would recommend him to anyone!

Great teacher! He is down to earth and intersting! He loves what he teaches and tries to get you to love it too! Go to the art exibits and get the extra credit for the tests and study what he says and you should get an A.
Hot! Loves what he teaches and wants to you to learn it too!Do the extra credit and you will get an A ! Highly reccomend!
Has a great sense of humor, makes it easy to pay attention and take good notes. Tests are multiple choice and T/F. If you take good notes, you don't have to read much. Very friendly. Hot.
Go to class and take notes and you will do great. Funny teacher, teaches his subject well and keeps it interesting.
Great prof! Pitluga is so cool and laid back. The class is easy...plently of extra credit opportunities.
Pitluga is a fun teacher. He's not too boring. Funny at times. He's easy to talk to when you need help. There's no possible way to fail his class because there's a crapload of extra credit available to his students.
Pitluga is a an awesome professor!

Awesome guy!
Western Art was one of the best classes I've ever taken. Dr. Pitluga made the subject easier to understand and pay attention to. Hes also very helpful with a great sense of humor
such a great prof. very easy-very fun-and somedays if youd go and there'd hardly be any people there...he'd pass around a paper for you to sign your name and you got bonus points! so go to class!! (:
Pitluga is an awesome professor. If you get him as a professor for any art class, you will not be disappointed. His classes are always interesting and he makes you want to go to class.
This guy is pretty cool. He's helpful the only way you can fail this course is if you never go to class and don't do the ex. credit. He's a good guy and is willing to help if you aren't doing too well.
Very nice guy, easy class, but extremely boring. If you take notes, go to the gallery, and do the reviews, its easy to get an A. Its difficult to get an A if you don't go to classes tho.
EASY!!!! take this class! i had absolutely no interest in art, i just took this class for credits. easiest 3 credits ive ever had to take. doesnt count attendance, but go anyway to do better on the tests. gives sooooo many extra credit opportunitites
Pitluga is the man! I love this guy! The class is sooo interesting. I knew nothing about art before, and now I feel a bit cultured. I heart him!
He is the only art historian. if you have to take an art histroy class, take overview of western art. it's the easiest for non majors and his tests are designed for non-majors. it's an easy A. just show up to class, or you will fail
elegant speaker, yet totally on your level - very interesting, and very sexy

This guy is awesome! He's clear and straightforward and hilarius when you get him going. He moves fast and covers a lot but it's easy to follow. TAKE HIM!!!!!
He is completely awesome, and all of those rumours you hear about him? Completely true.
If you can keep from staring at this hot prof, you might learn something about art. And if you show up every class just to drool over him, you'll get an A, cause you learned everything anyway.
omg this guy is awesome!!!! and plus when he wears his hat he looks almost exactly like billybob thorton!!! "its miller time" <<pitluga
Overview of Western Art. Great guy, great class. Show up and you'll be fine. Extra credit available. Take this for a block, no problem "A"
Great teacher, very laid back. Tests are easy as long as you take good notes. Must take teacher!
Excellent teacher. Very easy class. If you take notes you will do fine on the tests. He starts off by wearing nice dress outfits, but by mid semester, he's wearing flannel shirts, jeans, baseball caps, and beanies. Very nice teacher and not bad looking either. ;)
Pardon me but I remember Pitluga wearing a fez to class one day last spring. Kind of hilarious.
awesome
Take him he is great. Don't buy the book you do not need it. Just go to class and make sure to do the extra credit and you'll do great.
Such a funny guy. Comes to class in tossle cap and shorts. Can be a boring class but typing out all the notes after class can really help. Tests are all 50 questions and there are 4 of them. Final not comprehensive. He'll crack you up, he swears and always greets the class with "Allright my flock". Take this to fill Art block.
Take this class to fill your art block. Don't need the book, just show up to class and use google image search. He's funny, swears, cacels class a lot, and class is very easy. Can earn up to 18 points of easy extra credit per test, which means you can miss 14 on his 50 question (2pt ea) tests and still earn the lowest A. Definitely recommended.
Hilarious guy. Made class interesting. Tests where easy just as long as you got all the notes. YOu take alot of notes though each class so don't miss. But don't worry...he cancels class quite a bit and also is computer dumb so half the time he can't get the projector to work...so class is canceled again.
Easy class as long as you show up. Just study the notes and go to the gallerys and you will pass. He is also hilarious and keeps class interesting.
He is so cool. Smokes, swears, laid back. Not a hard class, boring at times, take good notes and you will do fine. Some of the art is cool that you look at. Oh, and DO THE GALLERY REVIEWS for bonus. Got an A instead of a B.

Great Professor! Very enjoyable class. Tests are straight forward. If you come to class you'll pass. I have a greater appreciation for other parts of the world. It also doesn't hurt that he's hot and cancels classes now and then!

easy class as long as you show up. don't buy the book because you don't need it. everything on his tests are from the slideshows.
who would have known that african art could be so interesting? i've had him for 2 classes and if you have the choice between western and world art, take western. its more interesting.
Good teacher, lots of notes but class is fun. Book is not needed at all. Pay attention in class because tests are on that material. Tests are 50 multiple choice, but rather easy.
Great guy and very clear. I took him for world art and it was boring most of the time but there were a few interesting things. Lots of notes but study and MAKE FLASHCARDS and you'll get an easy A.
Pitluga is awesome! Easy class, nice guy. He's hysterical and attractive. Take this to fill your art requirement.. you won't regret it.
One of the easiest classes you'll ever take as long as you take notes. The ladies love Dr. Pitluga...
awesome class. easy A when you go to class and do a write-up on the galleries. tosses in pretty awesome questions on the test that make you laugh if you've been to class...or freebies. awesome prof. definitely would take him again.
AWESOME CLASS! Take Dr. Pitluga if you can... Test are easy if you go to class and copy notes. Gives lots of extra credit gallery reviews and freebies on the tests. One of the best professors here at SRU. Very personable outside of class and I would take him again in a heart beat! =)
Awesome! he is down to very down to earth. it is an auditorium class but it is very easy to stay awake and pay attention. His exams are very easy as long as you take time to study. i recommend this class for everyone even if you are not an art major!
Pitluga is very knowledgeable and intelligent. Any who take his class and take it seriously will walk away better off.
Easy easy class. Dr. Pitluga is awesome! There are a lot of notes taken, but all you have to do is show up to class and do the extra credit for every test it's impossible to fail. He even makes learning art somewhat enjoyable. Highly recommend.
Pitluga is an asset to SRU. Very intelligent and knowledgeable about a great many things. You do not need the book for this class. All of the works are on google images. Just go to class and take good notes. Most of it is memory dependent. You can always do the EASY x-tra credit. Great class! Never thought it would be so great. Def worth $$$
Awesome teacher! You do need to attend his class so that you can get the notes because he's strictly a lecturer. He makes lectures interesting though! Very funny and VERY VERY VERY knowledgeable!
I picked this course instead of intro to art or theater, and regret it so much. Everybody says he's easy but I don't think he is at all. He also is extremely rude if you get a bad grade on a test, he makes sure you know it and so does everybody around you. Stay away from his class, seriously.
Dr. Pitluga is a great guy. The tests can be a bit tricky if you don't take time to study and take good notes. You do the extra credit(which is easy) and take SOME time to study, there is no reason why you can't get a good grade. Getting an A might take a little extra but really this is a pretty laid back class and excellent learning environment
Pitluga is extremely helpful, he is willing to help anyone out that doesn't do good on an exam. He hands out extra credit. Very easy if you just attend class and take proper notes. He's very knowledgeable.
Dr. Pitluga is an amazing professor! His class is not difficult unless you do not attend. He is very intellectual and gives you the real college experience, more profs should be like Dr. Pitluga. Extra credit is abundant and tests are the only grades and are very easy if you take notes,SAVE 112 DOLLARS AND DO NOT BUY THE TEXTBOOK- IT IS USELESS!!!!
Dr.Pitluga is a wonderful teacher! His lectures are actually something I like to listen to. He's more than willing to help you out if you're having trouble and if nothing else his looks are enough to make me take more of his classes!
Dr. Pitluga is amazing. his lectures are entertaining and informative and his tests are a snap if you come to class. plus, he takes you to peru : )
I loved Pitluga!! He is so nice, and his class was so easy, if you take notes and do the images he tells you to study you get an A! I miss his class!
Besides being absolutely gorgeous, he gives great lectures. I learned a lot. It's hard to make history interesting, but somehow he does. Good sense of humor.
Pitluga is the greatest art history teacher EVER!!! I'm not just saying that he has a passion for what he teaches and its impossible not to be interested. BUT YOU HAVE TO COME TO CLASS, otherwise see you in the fast food service.
I really dont like taking liberal arts classes but I must say that this class was the most insightful of all the LA classes I had to take. I have no desire for art but Pitluga's passion and knowledge make it well worth your money.
Easy to listen to lecture. He bases his class off of 4 exams. You can earn bonus points by doing gallery reviews.
Great teacher very interesting. Gives extra credit out for all of his test. easy to pass if you pay attention in class.
you dont have to go to class but it helps on the exams. They are so easy...50 questions multiple choice and straight to the point. I went to class took notes and just studied the night before and got Bs. you get 14 bonus points for going to an art gallary then writing a review. Such an easy class! He is a great professor too!
western art is easy. i would say attend all classes because it makes a difference on the tests. lectures are kind of boring but he makes it better when he swears.. its funny. def do the gallery reviews because its 14 extra points and gives you a letter grade better on the tests!
This class was a little but tricky...but you can do bonus by going to art galleries which bring your test up a whole letter grade. He is a really cool guy. He really knows his stuff!! The information is interesting but i did fall asleep sometimes. hah.
don't buy the book...everything is from the notes. make sure you go to class and take notes!
I took western art history w/ pitluga & really enjoyed the class. If you take good notes in class and study those come test time, you'll do great! also gives xtra credit opportunites every test. take advantage of these and you'll be sure to do well. hes a very amusing teacher if you pay attention in class too- got a lot of good laughes.
He is fabulous, superb, amazing, hot, and fun. Definitely take him!
Professor Pitluga is amazing at what he does! I love his lectures, which stick to my brain so much easier than many other lectures I have had. He has also opened my mind to so many interesting artwork and architecture. I recommend him for any art history class!
Awesome teacher! Really informal and takes time to talk with you outside of class, whether it's about class or just joking around.
his tests are from his notes but you need to study. knows his stuff and is very willing to help. take his class, easy credits.
The class is easy and really laid back. There's just something about his lecture-style that makes the information stick, which is great when you're a non-major.
out of all the classes i have taken at sru, this is my favorite. you learn so much and he's such a great teacher that you retain it all too. take him even if you don't have to because he is awesome.
Dr. Pitluga was a great professor. I had him for Overview of Western Art and I learned a lot. Even though the material could be dull, he made it interesting and humorous. You will not need the book, I didn't even open the packaging on mine. He also isn't bad to look at either. Great guy and professor overall.
It is a liberal studies requirement. Makes it interesting. Lots of opportunity for extra credit throughout the semester.
Great professor. Nice. Easy. DO NOT GET THE BOOK.
Pitluga really knows his material. His class is super easy, even if you aren't an art major, (and actually, a lot of non-majors have expressed to me how much they enjoyed his class.) You don't need to buy the book, just read the material and take notes well. The information is sometimes a lot to remember and Pitluga makes the class fun.
Okay, to start with the class is easy... IF you pay attention, take notes and STUDY. A lot of information is included in each exam. Attendance isn't mandatory, but if you miss a lot of class, you will do poorly. Besides that, his classes are very enjoyable, and he is a wonderful and funny teacher. He also offers extra credit on each exam.
In Overview of Western Art, he made the class very interesting. He is really funny. Do NOT text in his class. His exams are easy, and you barely use your book. Make sure you study and take notes on what he says. Lots of extra credit available. take advantage of that.
great prof!
Very helpful and gives extra credit. As stated before show up for class and take notes. Also do the extra credit
Overview of Western Art was a fun class, and Dr. Pitluga is a fun and energetic professor who is very approachable about pretty much anything. The textbook is never used, so don't buy it. The extra credit in this class helps tremendously because I averaged a high C on the four exams, but the extra credit brought it up to an A.
He is a great prof that keeps the lecture interesting with funny comments. He always offers extra credit for each exam (14 pt). Honestly to get an A in the class you just have to do the extra credit and study a little or at least pay attention. He also gives your graded exam back by the next class and goes over it. You definitely will enjoy him!
Dr. Pitluga is an awesome guy and as long as you go to class and put forth the effort, you will do great. Especially if you do gallery reviews for each test which are such an easy opportunity
It was a fun class even though I wasn't interested in it at all.
Cool guy. he's funny and knows what he's talking about. If your interested in art like me, then its a breeze. the course is focused on art but he mixes a whole lot of world history into it and its very interesting.
Class is not mandatory. I suggest you go though and pay attention and a passing grade is what you will get. I am not an art major and passed with a C average. He is very funny and occasionally swears. Keeps it interesting. No quizzes or homework. 3 exams all year long, all are 50 questions each. JUST DO NOT BUY THE BOOK OR RENT. NEVER USED IT.
Pitluga is a really cool guy. His lectures are pretty interesting even if you aren't interested in the material. He gives no homework, doesn't take attendance, and only gives 4 tests per semester but he gives 14 bonus points to go to the art gallery and then write a review. It's easy bonus and helps out with the tests. The tests are pretty easy.
Dr. Pitluga is a great professor and knows how to keep students interested in art history. DO NOT BUY THE BOOK. As long as you show up to class, take good notes, and do the extra credit, it's an easy A. He always runs class to the very last minute.
He gives a ton of extra credit. The test require studying but are an easy A with extra credit. Classes seem long, but are entertaining. DONT BUY THE TEXTBOOK
He gives a ton of extra credit. The test require studying but are an easy A with extra credit. Classes seem long, but are entertaining. DON'T BUY THE TEXTBOOK! I would recommend this class. He isnt bad to look at either.
Dr. Pitluga is sooooo funny. He is a good teacher and keeps class interesting. I don't really like art, but Dr. Pitluga made me really enjoy it. You can get extra credit every single test, including the final which helps a ton. I would recommend the class or anything with him. He's a great teacher and great to look at!
I had to take this course as a liberal study and do not like art at all. Dr. Pitluga made the class interesting; all powerpoints are on D2L and the textbook is only required as extra help. As long as you go to class, take the notes (pay attention to the little comments), and do the extra credit (56 bonus points) you'll do fine.
Show up to class, take notes, and do the extra credit. It is almost impossible to NOT get an A. His PPs contain only pics so you have to take notes on what he says. Go to an on campus art show and write your name down for 4 points bonus, then if you need to, write a review for 10 more. 56 bonus possible per semester which can take u from 76 to a 90
This class with him was amazing. He was funny, but you have to pay attention. I got a 108% in his class. Assigns extra credit
Dr. Pitluga is an awesome guy. He's hilarious and he knows what he's talking about so even though the lectures may be a tad boring he keeps it more interesting than most professors would. He's really nice and easy to talk to, almost reminds you of that cool uncle or something. I'd definitely recommend taking him
I loved Pitluga! He really knows his material. Show up to class, take notes, and you should be fine. Grade is based on 4 exams but offers extra credit for every one which brings you up a whole letter grade! Very interesting class. I would take him again!
Dr. Pitluga was one of my absolute favorite profs. He swears a bit when things go wrong with the notes and it's comical. He always let's you go do a simple gallery review worth 14 points and it completely saved my first exam. I only study the night before and I always do really well on exams.(it's that simple) Would definitely take him again!
Doc is a great teacher. The class is totally lecture, but he makes them interesting and fun. It is possible to pass without going to class, but you will do so much better if you go. He mentions little bits of relevant trivia during the lecture, then puts them on tests. I'm an art major, but he makes it interesting even for people who aren't.
Had him for Western Art and he was a pretty cool professor. Tests are tough if you're not into art but if you show up, take good notes and study those notes you should be fine. I slept through one of the tests and he let me take it during his office hours.
I took this class without much of an interest in art but it turned out to be interesting. I missed a couple of tests and he was nice about letting me take makeups (which were very easy). He tries to keep lectures interesting and he is very funny. If you go to class, pay attention, take good notes and study there's no reason to get less than a B.
Really interesting class, super easy credit, he offers A LOT of extra credit, and he's hilarious.
Got put into this class as a freshmen. No interest in art whatsoever, test are tough. Lecture is long and boring with a couple of sarcastic jokes here and there. Overall i would not reatake the class
I took overview of western art with Dr Pitluga and I still rave about it to this day. You HAVE TO show up every class because all the exams are directly from his power points and notes. But that's also the best part. As long as you show up, take a lot of notes and study those notes, that's about it. Also, he gives a lot of extra credit!
All you need to do to pass is write down the tidbits from the powerpoints, pay attention to what he says, maybe jot some of that down, go to an extra credit art show, study your notes the day before, and boom. He's an amazing professor. No book needed. Makes art interesting to just about everyone. Really nice guy, cares about your success. Hottie.
Pitluga is a great professor. I'm not an art major, but I enjoyed his class. He gives great lectures. As long as you take notes and study the figures for the tests you'll be fine.
I have no interest in art. The lectures could get boring but are important for the tests. The tests are hard but he'll usually drop a freebie or two in there. If you do bad on the test help is always offered. Overall I think Pitluga was great and if you go to class almost everyday, take notes and do extra credit you shouldn't have a problem.
I took this class as one of my liberal studies, not for my major. The material is interesting even though the lectures can sometimes drag on. Dr. Pitluga is very fair in grading - he offers a lot of extra credit every semester. The tests are your entire grade but they're an easy A if you attend class and pay attention and do the bonus every test.
I had Dr. Pitluga for Overview of World Art and he was a great professor! His lectures are long but it's the information given is important. He makes learning interesting and fun. He's hilarious and says whatever he wants. During his lectures he has a slide show, but you only need to know whats written on the slides. He always helps his students!
His lectures are boring and attendance isn't mandatory. 14 bonus points are available for each test. Tests ARE NOT EASY if you do not take detailed notes and attended every class.
DO. THE. EXTRA. CREDIT!!! He offers 14 points of extra credit for each test which brings your test up by an entire letter grade. He teaches from powerpoints, so i sat in the front of the class with my computer and took notes and i had no problem in the class. You probably won't pass if you skip class a lot, but if you put in the work it's an easy A
He is one of the best professors I have had and is a very funny guy. His tests are relatively easy just study a couple night before. Usually gives 1 or 2 free points on the test and gives a bunch of extra credit outside of class.
Dr. Pitluga was an awesome professor, lectures a lot, but always kept your interest. Tests are straight from lectures, show up to class and you will definitely get an A.
The four exams are the only grades in the class, but he offers a ton of extra credit for going to art exhibits. I averaged in the lower 80s on his exams, but the extra credit brought me up to the middle 90s. His lectures are interesting and funny, and despite attendance not being mandatory, the information on the exams all come from class.
World Art with Pitluga can be as easy or as hard as you make it out to be. Lectures are based entirely around his powerpoint slides full of pictures, so taking good notes on a laptop is crucial. Grades are entirely based around exams, so take advantage of the extra credit opportunities. Not a terrible class, put in the effort and you can get an A.
Such a great guy, absolutely loved his overview of western art class so took another class with him. Very passionate about what he does. Shouldn't have a problem getting an A As long as you show up since everything that's important is from his lectures, not just the power points.
He is such a wonderful dude. you really don't have to read the book as long as you take good notes. He's super funny and understanding.
He is super nice and really funny, but sit close up to him to make sure you get everything he says in your notes. Looking at his power points on D2L will do nothing for you, everything on the test comes from his lectures. Reading the book is not necessary, unless you miss class. He is super easy going and will give opportunities for extra credit.
He was so funny, but only graded on 4 tests.
One of Slippery Rock's best professors.
Dr. Pitluga is a great professor. All of the exams were PowerPoint exams, mostly lecture based. You need to go to class, even though its not mandatory. I didnt open the book once all semester. He offers a lot of extra credit.
Really funny & nice professor. Although, he gives you a lot of information at a quick pace which can be hard to retain. He gives a good amount of extra credit though. Tests cover a lot of material so you need to study early.
He's a really funny guy. Only thing is you better take notes, everything he discusses is most likely on the exam. I didn't buy the book and so far hasn't seemed necessary. DO THE EXTRA CREDIT!!!!!!!! It will save your life and grade.
Pitluga is very intimidating because he's very confident and cool. I feel scared to ask him questions but in actuality he's very kind and willing to help you. He wants you to succeed. only warning is, for art history classes he lectures on and on and on and if you do not remember the million things hes taught you, you WILL fail. Tests are hard.
Take a lot of notes for his classes. PowerPoints are online but are mostly pictures. Go to the art gallery for up to 14 extra credit for exams. Only graded on 4 exams. Study, study, study! First exam was the hardest but you'll improve on each one once you get the hang of it. Very cool guy and pretty funny during lectures. Would recommend!
I dont know if Id take pitluga again just because of the limited grades. He is a very nice guy and willing to help you! This class was just very difficult and I didnt catch on to how to study or prep for exams until late in the semester. EXTRA CREDIT AND NOTE TAKING EVERY CLASS IS A MUST. You absolutely will not pass if you skip or dont do it.
I took Overview of Western Art with Pitluga. Class is all lecture, so you must be willing to take notes. Tests are fairly simple if you review the slides he posts. The extra credit easily boosts your grade 1-2 letter grades. Don't buy the textbook; I never used it once. Pitluga is very funny, and I found the class interesting for a lecture.
Dr. Pitluga is my favorite professor so far! Youre graded on 4 exams through out the semester but he gives a ridiculous amount of extra credit for doing things like visiting an art gallery or writing a review. The exams are SUPER easy as long as you come to class or get good notes from someone else. All his lectures are funny and make you like art
I liked this professor a lot. He rarely talked politics, which is good. He didn't require attendance for the 2 classes I've had with him, which is also good. Lectures are actually interesting, so I don't know why you'd miss them. Very funny guy, not dull at all. Very understanding for assignments.
Great professor overall. Lecture material is very heavy. In order to pass this class you have to pay attention. I made flashcards for every exam with pictures from the PP's he goes over. If help is needed he will help you and make you understand the material you are having trouble on.
Kurt is a fun guy. He swears a lot, but in a funny way, and thats why I love him. His lectures are hysterical. He's a good one. Take his class.
He is so funny. Will make you laugh everyday guaranteed. If you don't show up you won't do good that's for sure. Lectures can be boring but its worth going. You HAVE to study to get an A. He offers 14 % extra credit for each exam. If you apply yourself you'll pass. Go to class before breaks he gives 5% to your next exam. Only grades are exams.
Professor Pitluga can be very intimidating, but he is really a nice guy. Whatever you do, do not buy the book. All the information for the tests come from the lecture. You must attend the lectures if you want to pass. I promise if you skip you are going to struggle. Take it from me, someone who never missed a class and only missed 4 test questions
Fun guy!
Your entire grade is 3 exams (all art memorization) and an essay. His lectures are okay but boring, uploaded power points are just pictures of the art and contain no information if you miss class. On the day of the test 3 times the number of students show up that show up to lecture. Hard class for a student who just needed a liberal arts credit. :(
I had Professor Pitluga for my Overview of Western Art, and he's one of the coolest professors here at this university. He was very passionate in his teachings, and cared about his students. 100% would take again if I was allowed.
Pitluga is my favorite professor I've ever had. Extremely funny and makes lectures interesting. Love this guy
Pitluga is by far my favorite professor on campus. As long as you study you'll do fine, there is a lot of extra credit. Take him!
Overall, he was a great professor and made class interesting for what it's worth. Grades were solely based on exams, so pay attention to lectures and study and you'll be fine! Tons of extra credit too.
Dr. Pitluga is an amazing professor. He is really funny however, during class you really have to pay attention and take notes or else you WILL NOT pass. He does not post his powerpoints and he says certain things he wants you to remember for the test that are not written on the powerpoint. You really do have to listen. Just take good notes!
Only graded on 4 exams but the exams are fairly easy and he always gives extra credit opportunities.
Love Dr. Pitluga he is funny and so chill. You will be fine as long as you go to class and take notes, but probably cannot pass without that. He basically tells you in class what will be on the exam. Kind of tough exams but also makes them fairly doable. Never replies to email. Fairly easy as long as you show up and listen.
so so so easy. if u don't understand anything though, all info is soooo easily findable, nothing is difficult in this at all.
The only grades are exams with extra credit chances, he does not take attendance.
There are only 4 exams for grading but you can look up everything online. I almost never went to class and still passed.
Pitluga is amazing! The class is graded on only four tests, so I do suggest showing up for the lectures. All of his PowerPoints are online so if you do miss a class or two, you can go back and see what you missed.
loved him tbh. super chill guy and class
ART 130 was so easy, you don't have to be in class to pass but it helps. No pop quizzes just exams which are all online. He always gives extra credit opportunities, but you don't even need them. He's very funny and you normally get out early too. Don't be scared to talk to him, he sounds scary but he is very caring and easy to work with.
I had Dr. Pitluga for visual art inquiry. He was super funny and easy to listen to, and you can tell he's super passionate about art. He didn't give any homework; he just lectured in class for you to take notes. If you miss class or don't pay attention, you might miss whatever is on the test, but most of it is easy to search and find.
