Great teacher, enjoy his lectures and he is a nice looking man...follows the text, you know where you are at any given lecture.
I had him for Business Cornerstone, and when I saw his name next to Business Law, I knew that I had to be in that class! He is just teriffic! He speaks very well, and takes the time to explain anything you need. He is funny and to the point.
Good Lecturer! Interesting and straight forward. Lets you know up-front what it takes to succeed in his class. Very fair.
Excellent lecturer, straight-forward. I would take him again for any class.
took him for BA3301. very nice and friendly.

great teacher, he is wonderful. very interesting.
Very interesting lectures; never boring. Must read assignments. Only gives 2 exams: Mid-term and a final and you have to do court observations through out the semester.
This guy is an actual lawyer and at times really gets frustrated if you don't know things the way in which he interprets the law.
Very good teacher. Knows his stuff. Very approachable w/questions that don't pertain to the material. Not a hard class at all.Take Him
I loved Dr. Stanberry's business law class, too bad he's not teaching commercial law. He knows what he's talking about and shares very interesting and funny law suit stories. Never read the book and got a B from the class.
He is an Excellent Lecturer!!! To do well in his tests, read the book and you will do well.
I took during a summer session. It was not a bad class. If you read the material and attend class you will do well. I received an "A". He makes the class interesting.
very great professor. i highly recommend you take him.
Nice Professor.Just read the chapters and take good notes in class. He only gives a midterm exam and a final. Also, to go to court to do a two page summary observation.Easy! His lectures are not boring at all.
He is a very good man. If you read the chapters he asks you to read before coming to class, his lectures are very enjoyable. Actually, even if you don't read, his lectures are enjoyable. He is a very gifted communicator. Enjoy him.
Highly recommend this professor.Very interesting class.
Great Instructor, very fair. I would highly recommend taking him.
His class in diversity is so interesting. He really knows his stuff, makes it real life in the way he presents it, treats students like they are real people, all in all a great professor.
Wanna learn and have fun, take his class. But u gotta read to pass. He does't hold your hand, gotta be a grown up up in there.
Very easy online class(easy A). Definitely recommend this class to those who work full time. Class is not hard at all. Just read the material and view the tapes. Answer and submit review questions. How hard is that?
Good teacher. Interesting class. LOTS of reading. The tests were tricky...he wants to make sure you are reading AND understanding the work. Only a midterm and final (each worth 45%) and one court observation.
Very funny and knows his stuff. His tests are tricky make sure you READ!!!!! and ASK QUESTIONS!!! if you dont understand because you will be lost on the exam if you dont.his tests are not definition. You have to know how to apply the law and know when and where a law is applicable.
Great Instructor! very easy to understand, helpfull, awesome attitude towards students!Wonderful professor...
His test are realy hard. His Lecture are reaaly fun and good. But they doesnot help u at all in the test. So read the book.
Diversity class via tape is certainly a class for working adults. View the tapes, submit a summary each week, which are graded pass/fail. Final is open book, take at home test, very similar to weekly summaries. Great class for the busy professional!
Kurt Stanberry is a good teacher, but this class is hard. 1 midterm 45%, 1 final 45%, & 2 pages of court paper 10%
He is a good instructor but the tests are hard. He is fun but the lecture doesn't really help you in the tests.
This is a very challenging class because he gives a midterm, final, and homework. I really enjoyed Dr. Stanberry's lectures. You will learn his material because he makes it very interesting and uses many cases as examples in his lectures. Take his advise and you will pass his class.
His classes are very interesting and fun. He tries to relate his cases to real life scenarios. However, his tests are hard and has nothing to do with what he says in class. You must read the book to pass the tests.
This is one easy class. I made an A in this class without one struggle. If you work full time, I would highly recommend this class to you. All you do is view tapes, read book, and then answer some questions, which have to be turned in weekly. The final is open book, open note, open everything; lol. Want to boost your gpa, take this class.
A lot hinges on exam performance, and no curves. If you are lucky enough to find a copy of his former mid-term exam, use it as a study guide! He's interesting to listen to and the court project is very easy.
Great teacher....very interesting, keeps the class involved! Study what he tells you and COME TO CLASS and you'll be fine!!
LIKE TAKING ONLINE CLASS-W/O PAYING THE FEE!
You have to watch tapes, read the classes and answer review questions from each chapter. All you do is turn in homework, do a interview, and take a final.
Great professor, good lectures that help make you understand the material. You must read the text though, and do the practice quizzes. Other than that show up to class, his tests are a little hard (come more from the text), but you are in college. Curves a little, depending on how the class does. Need to study for that A though.
Great teacher, really knows the law well. Gives great examples in class and always creates the opportunity for students to get involved in class discussions.
He is great!! He knows his stuff
Great! Great! Great! 50% midterm,50% final, 10% court observation. Very easy and interesting class!
Awesome professor very helpful and knowledgeable. The book is a must the chapter reviews from the book are pretty much whats going to be on the test. He's also pretty funny and made the class interesting.
Be prepared to do a ton of reading. You have to go to class to understand what is going on. 45% midterm, 45% final, 10% court observation. This class was not the easiest and I learned a lot from it.I would reccommend him
Be prepared do read all the assigned chapters. Make sure you attend every lecture. He gives 2 exams which are 45% percent each. There is also a court observation report which is 10%. You have to do good on both the tests as thier is no make up exams in this course. Dr stanberry's lectures are interesting and you learn a lot about the legal system.
very smart professor, learned so much
Professor made topics interesting..lots of chapter readings..court observation report was simple..overall pretty much what I expected.
Wow this was such an interesting class and I learned so much! He really knows his stuff. You must really prepare for his two exams, really study the book and you'll do good
Great teacher, more on the college level. I enjoyed attending his class and listening to his lectures. Class attendence is not mandatory but the seneriors he gave for cases were great! He is a lawyer and has a lot of experience. U have to write one paper and tests are ok if you study. You have to STUDY! I would take him again!
I really enjoyed this class and the way he taught. He really knows his stuff and he does a really good job at explaining the material. I really learned a lot about law from his class and would recommend him to anyone. The level of difficulty on his tests are medium. Just make sure you read the chapters!
I REALLY liked this class! He is a very good lecturer. He's great at explaining the material, he's easy to understand and follow and his lectures are interesting. The main 2 grades are the midterm and final. Just make sure you study thoroughly for the exams.
His lectures were worthless but the class was easy. Read the book, study, and you'll easily pass his test. Only two test, mid-term and final, one paper on a court observation, and test are 95% from the textbook.
GREAT Prof, really knows his stuff, makes it much more interesting than I thought it would be, very helpful, nice guy too.
Wonderful prof! He's a great guy and really knows his stuff. Class isn't mandatory but if you attend class and read the book then you'll be just fine. He makes the class really interesting and so are his lectures. I would def. take him again! Great prof!
I did not make a good grade, but that was my fault, he was the best professor I have had at UHD.
I took him for Business Law and loved his class! Passed with a B. So now I took him again for my online elective, Bussiness Diversity, lots of reading and writing to do but nothing that complicated. Made an A.
Great Teacher!I Had him for Business Law, he really knows his stuff. Got an A in his class. Read the lectures and do your assignments and you'll be fine.
Just finished semester with a true univesity professor. He makes you want to come to class to learn. He is brilliant. He is always prepared. He treats students with respect. You feel like you are really in college, not high school. Don't pass up a chance to take this guy.
Before I took his class I was told you are lucky if you get a C!!! However, after taking his class I realized those people were just lazy! This is college people you must read!! He is a GREAT professor!!! Very interesting!! You must take him!!
He has a fun way of teaching. He was clear on his expectations and the test were really easy. The only thing I did not like was that he does not like student to take notes and I am big on that; but, overall I would recommend this class to anyone...because it is an easy A.
Had him over the summer. He's brilliant and blunt. Just the way I like 'em. No bull. His homework and extra credit assignments are an easy 'A' so don't sweat those. Study for the tests. Here's the secret to passing his class: KNOW HOW TO READ. Purchase only the required chapters online (forget buying the book) and read them thoroughly. Got a 'B'.
his lectures are useless because it gets off topic and/or doesn't cover everything needed for testing. READ the book. he's helpful if you speak up & ask questions. however i guess business lawðics just isn't my things because i read every chapter, took notes & the online practice quizzes but only managed a B ):
Professor Stanberry made this business law class very enjoyable. I never thought that this class would turn out to be my favorite for this fall semester. You need to make sure to read the chapters. However, if you take good notes from the lectures, alot of the questions on the exams will come from that. I highly recommend Professor Stanberry.
Great prof. His lectures are very interesting, and he is a good speaker. class was never boring!
Stanberry is an okay professor. He lectures and sometimes he confused ppl by jumping from one topic to another. Exams are base on notes & reading the book.
Took for online class, gives syllabus at beginning of semester then you never hear from him until the test, and the test are tricky. Pay close attention to syllabus.
This class was very difficult for me when taking his class. He does not let anyone use a digital recorder when lecturing. His test comes from what he lectures, book is useless. I read the chapters & made flash cards, it didn?t help?.. I personally wouldn?t recommend this class to anyone?..
I did not enjoy his class. Wish I took a different professor. I am not a law student so I didn't comprehend everything. He would just lecture with no direction. Studying the book and making notes did nothing for passing his tests. He do not prepare students well for the test. I think law is interesting but he did not make me interested in it.
I simple adore this teacher. His classes are interesting.only 3 tests the whole semester, no comprehensive. You must study the chapters assigned thoroughly though. No reading=failing the class.I hate reading, but even to me the book was interesting. The professor knows what he's doing, and I would suggest everyone to take his class. Gud luck :))
He is one of the most interesting teachers I have ever had. He talks a lot about real life examples and how things can relate to you. He is not afraid to throw out the occasional cuss word either. I rarely went to class so I did not get a great grade in this class... but as long as you keep up with the book readings the tests are fairly easy.
Loved the class. He explains the book through real life cases. So , the class is really interesting. Attendance is not mandatory, but it really does help. You have to do a lot of reading to do really good on the exam. Overall great professor and highly recommended.
Great professor. His lectures are very interesting. He knows his matherial pretty well. I took him over summer and made a B in his class, if I have tried a little harder, could have an A. Tests contain MC and T/F questions. You have to do 1 case report. Plus, do the homeworks over each covered chapter.
Read the book, do the assignments, study. Keep an open mind, this guy is an extreme liberal. Let the indoctrination start here. Did I just take the Occupy Wall Street class. Do the work = make a good grade!
STOP, sign up for STANBERRY now! So passionate about law, relates them to real life scenarios, sounds boring but not with Stanberry ask anyone! Midterm, Final, 1 case report. Gives review for both which are EXACTLY like the exam and case report is easy (he just gives credit for doing it). Best teacher at UHD, you'll actually learn.
I you go to class you will learn, read the book, ask question, do assignments and you will do just fine.
quick and EASY Summer course. only used 12 chapters from book, which you can buy seperately on the publishers website. 12 ten question true/false tests (80% of grade), one case study(10%) and a moderately difficult essay final (10%). Highly recommend this class.
GREAT CLASS! This is my favorite class out of all. Great Prof, clear and keeps you interested!! Just read the chapters before class. I highly recommend. Pay attention to the examples given in class, and reading the book is very helpful. The test might be a little tricky, but overall this class was really good.
I loved this class. It was online, he just gave you the chapters, powerpoint, and quizzes each month to do. Very independent course so be prepared to teach yourself. Overall very easy material to understand, great professor. highly recommend!!
Online class very easy, daily quizzes and discussions that are easy. The HARDEST part of the class is the final exam. 1 Exam, its worth 50% of your grade. 100 questions closed books and notes. You get a review for the final but highly unlikely those questions will be on the exam. STUDY OFF OF THE BOOK to get a good grade for the Exam.
Rarely checks in more than once a month, really unsettling. Monthly quizzes = 40%, weekly forum postings = 10%, and one 100 question MC final = 50%. Don't really like his hands off approach to the class. While I'm fine with it if professors provide decent notes, he doesn't with the exception of some pathetic PowerPoints. Regardless, my grade's an A
Relates course material to current events. There were 3 tests (each worth about 30% of your grade and no comprehensive final. Would definitely recommend.
Not much to say about the teacher. He posted the material and assigned all quizzes and discussion topics from the beginning of the semester for each week. You just had to do the reading and follow the schedule. Reading the chapters is a must in order to do well on the quizzes. Final exam was proctored. If you read the chapters you will do great.
If you want to learn things that will help you in the future take him! He is very knowledgeable and class is interesting. A lot to learn but just read the book go to class! I would take him again in the future if I can for other subjects. (don't ask stupid questions) He likes real thinking questions. Not a class for slackers.
Very good teacher, big classes bc he's wanted. He's very easy to understand & learn from. His online quizzes are seen in the tests, so it's good to study from. Good grader, impartial and fair.
Lectures are interesting although I missed quite a few classes. Mid-term and final, both from test bank so you must read the book and study it in order to do well on tests. Court observation and super easy chapter assignments- both are passfail- if you turn them in you get credit, if not you don't. I would recommend, passed with a B.
Awesome professor. I had him for a class during my Bachelors degree and also during my Masters degree. He is an easy A and makes the class fun too.
This class was pretty straight forward. There were a couple discussion questions, weekly chapter quizzes, a writing assignment over some videos and a final exam that counts towards 45% of your grade. This is NOT an easy class, but it is manageable. I wouldn't expect much from Prof. Stanberry but you won't need him. Just read and study for final.
He is a good instructor. Very knowledgeable but I got the feeling that he didn't share as much information as he could. He makes the course easy to understand and he's very much open to questions. I think the course could be modified to get more out of his head and into the minds of the students.
rarely replies to emails.
This class was basically law case study, two tests came right out of the book. I enjoyed the class as Kurt was very interested in our opinions surrounding case studies. Only 2 tests that came straight form the book. He is very knowledgeable and I truly enjoyed his class.
Took this class online during the summer (5 week course) pretty easy class. You have 2-3 tests due every week. All answers r found online. 12 short YouTube videos to watch, write a summary on each video. + a final that's 100 questions. The final to me (personally) was difficult, guessed on it all lol was able to still pass the class :)
5 weeks online summer class. quizes per chapter and a report. Quizzes 10q each but they are times but open book. FInal in campus 75Q 2hrs time. The professor doesn't do much. lots of material to learn and remember. If you study, it should not be very hard
Took this class online for Summer III and I must say this class was pretty easy, but you must read the book and study the powerpont slides. There are 16 chapters covered and a 10 Q quiz for each chapter (open book), 2 page compliance report and 75 Q cumulative final (closed book). P.S. Final questions come from the quizzes.
Had an A the entire semester, only to get a C after the final. 80% of the final was T/F questions and the same questions were asked between 2-4 times. 12 Quizzes, 1 page summaries over 10 YouTube videos, and 100 questions final. Not sure if I would take him again. Overall, he was an okay professor, I've had aloooooot worse1
The class is based on quizzes and a final. You can find quizzes answers online and Final is based on those quizzes. Really good teacher and also curves your Final average.
Hands down the best professor I have ever taken! Took this class online in Summer. You can find all the answers for the quizzes online. Easiest class ever!
He is a great professor, like how he explain ethics with current events to get a better understanding. For our class we had two papers and a final which was 45% of our grade.
12 quizzes that are easy. Makes you review the dumbest YouTube videos ever, which is still easy! Then, doesnt give you a review for the final so youre screwed. Had an A all semester only to study and fail the final miserably.
Class is easy the entire semester until you get to the final exam. Final is hard and confusing, he tells you to study all the quizzes but in the final only a few questions came from quizzes. Final worth 10005 which is basically 50% of your grade. Disappointed that he didn't give any extra credit or curve to pass the class with a B.
5 week course. The easiest online professor that Ive come across yet. There are no connect assignments. No homework. All you have are 16 quizzes - 10 questions each. Open book. One paper - easy. The Final Exam derives from your quizzes. Study your quizzes and you will pass the class! 75 questions on the final. Easy A.
BA 3301 online was very straightforward. Quizzes are open book and final is proctored but based on semester's quizzes. Professors grading rubric was clear and concise.
Summer class. Easy A. Consisted of quizzes, final, and optional discussion posts (extra credit) and an easy one page report. The answers for the quizzes/final are online. I could have taken an extra class since this one didn't require much effort/time. Screenshot your quiz grades, a few of mine dropped a few points somehow.
He is the most laid back professor ever!!! There are weekly quizzes that come from his textbook, a case study, and a final. A very easy course and the professor is genuine. Really recommend!
Took an online class. It was very straight forward. I didn't buy the book but was able to pass with online information and PowerPoints provided. The final was very similar to the chapter quizzes so study those and you will do just fine. 4 discussion posts, an online quiz after each chapter, video summary paper, and final exam. Nothing complicated.
Professor Stanberry made a winter mini one of the best classes I've taken. His grading and assignments were clear and laid out from day one. I'm very glad to have taken his class and I highly recommend him to anyone needing a mini-mester grade.
Professor Stanberry is a great educator. He makes sure to relate course content with current events that students are able to relate to. Great class discussions that are engaging.
Amazing professor! Super nice & caring! Take him!
One of the best professors Ive ever taken! Loved his class!
Professor Stanberry is caring and willing to work with anyone who have difficulty on lectures. He also offer extra credit. Course is self-pace which consist of 10 chapter quizzes, 10 essay what would you do?, a case study, and Final exam. The Final is worth 400 points so be prepare to use the textbook to study.
I'm finishing up year 1 of my MBA and this classes has been one of the best experiences so far. The material isn't hard and Professor Stanberry is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic with the material. I enjoyed this class very much.
By far one of the simplest classes I have taken. 10 chapter quizzes, 10 WWYD assignments (only have to write about a paragraph and you get credit.), and 1 final exam (worth 400 points). Read the chapters and this class will be easy.
I took him for Spring online and it was the most easiest class EVER! 10 ch. quizzes online, 10 discussions (which were extremely easy), 2 EASY case studies, and a final exam (which can be done at home) (no proctorU). Easy A! Take HIM NOW!
The class was pretty easy until the final. All quizzes were open book and answers came directly from the textbook. No notes allowed on the final, and he said studying from the quizzes would help. I studied the questions from all the quizzes and failed. None of the questions were what I studied. Had an A all semester and ended with a C.
I just finished taking the may-mester final and I would say this class has been amazing. Especially the people in the group chat are very kind, positive, and helpful. The professor is an easy grader with clear grading criteria. 13 chapters of lecture/quizzes (searchable), an easy 2-3 page video summary report, and the final worth 45% of your grade.
Took 5-week course. Extremely easy. Textbook is provided (free). Easy assignments. Teacher is nice and responds fast.
Took this class during the summer. Quiz grades, 2 easy assignments, tests and final open note. You can finish all of the quizzes early on using the textbook. The textbook is free and he provides the link. Professor is very responsive and there to help. Highly recommend!
Professor Stanberry's online/anytime 5 week summer class was straight to the point. No confusion. 12 quizzes, a final and event reports. The event reports assignments will make or break your grade, so just make sure you do them for some points. The final exam is worth 500 of the the1000 points for the class. This class will not stress you out.
10 quizzes over the free textbook and a final with no lockdown browser and that's it! All assignments are very quizlet friendly. I took this in the Summer as a 5-week class. Easy A, so much so that I'm taking him again. Don't hesitate to take any of his classes if you can
By far the best professor I have had at UHD. All assignments besides final are open day 1 for you to work ahead if you would like. Clear instructions on assignments. 100% recommend taking any class with him.
Professor Stanberry is seriously one of the best professors I've ever had. He's willing to work with you if you communicate with him. 10 quizzes, 10 book assignments, 1 final. If you have the chance to take a class with Professor Stanberry, definitely do it. He's an awesome professor who makes a real difference!
I took Professor's Stanberry's BA 3308 class. Everything is laid out on the syllabus. Assignments consist of quizzes based off of a free textbook, weekly chapter summaries/what would you do scenarios and an Ethics report. Quizzes and final are open note. Very easy class!
Professor Stanberry is great. He is super laid back, has an extremely easy grading criteria. I missed an exam and he was kind enough to open it for me and let me retake it. Open everything. Take this class!
Great professor. I highly recommend if you're working full time. Assignments due every week, but nothing major. As long as you are caught up on all assignments, you should be fine. Textbook is free.
