I had a very good experience with Professor Kwame Okoampa-Ahoofe.

I think he is an awesome teacher. I have an evening class, the last class of the day , where everyone is participative. He makes class a lot of fun. He shares his experiences and thoughts, his challenges with the class. I respect him.

His approach to teaching is unique and you will learn much about real life. Be prepared to read and write a lot. He is also a very nice man with a good sense of humor.

hilarious! he talks about himself mostly but is very entertaining. It got annoying at times but when the work from other classes were too much i was grateful he barely gave work. if u want to learn something, dont take this class.

Prof Okoampa-Ahoofe, is truly excellent. After taking his class, you will not only be a better writer but you will have learned global history. He is a very brilliant man.

Man if you want to get good grades and help your GPA, then take his class. One thing you must keep in mind before going to his class is, its his class and be open minded person. You will love his class if you love to learn new things. no religion or Sex is judged. he is very nice and helpful person. he was a prof i wish ever one was like.

Professor Kwame Okuampa-Ahoofe is the best prof ever at NCC. He is hilarious and most of the time he would jump from one subject to another haha! For any one of you out there if you want an easy A go for him. i had him for Eng101-102 both class I received an A as final grade.. He is awesome!! and his class fills up quickly. Good luck;)

Great professor. Very funny! Easy assignments but don't get too comfy, make sure you attend class and stay on top of his assignments & you'll def get an A! Very understanding and looks out for his students!

Wise man, full of knowledge, and a fair grader. Definitely an easy A if you put your heart into it.

This professor was one of the best that i have ever had at this college. He was funny,smart, and i loved everyone in his class if, you want an easy A and Fun while getting it i recommend him.

Professor Ahoofe takes the time out to make sure you are getting the best learning experience as possible. The wisdom he shares with his students is nothing but informative and motivational. The workload is not heavy and he accepts late papers, but hand in papers on time for the best grade. I would reccomend him to any student willing to learn.

Wonderful professor. would take this class over not going to get much from the lectures but be prepared to do a few essays tells a lot of funny stories of his life experiences pretty much this class is an Easy A

I took Journalism 215 and really enjoyed this professor. He understands that everyone is not a great writer. Do your best and you will get a great grade. I would take him again.

Some of the stuff he said in class still cracks me up till this day. He honestly didn't teach much but he did assign us six papers throughout the semester. Great sense of humor and someone I will probably never forget. Just because he is easy going doesn't mean you should B/S his class, because he will call you out on it.

He shows up about 15-30 minutes late every day. If your ever running late, don't sweat it because he's most likely gonna be later than you. Lectures are mostly him talking about himself or things on the news. He calls people out a lot but in a funny way. He assigned 5 papers but they weren't difficult. Hand in your work on time and you'll be fine.

Great professor show up and you'll pass

He doesn't really teach, but his lectures are really hysterical and entertaining. He gives you an article from the New York Times about every two weeks and you have a paper taking a positon on the article. As long as you hand in the papers on time and go to the writing center, you should get an A.

Kwame is cool he mainly just talks about everything besides the work. His assignments are a little unclear but they're all just responding to NY Times articles so no big deal. Do the papers (or at least most of them) and you'll pass. I took him for Journalism.

English 102 Do the work and you'll pass. I would take him again if i had to. Has a great personality and makes class very interesting.

Hes a great professor, hands down one of the best Ive at this school. Caring, understanding, he understands people have lives. His lectures are amazing, you learn not only about the class but mostly about life. Loves talking about himself and gives papers no tests. Should pass the class no problem once you hand in all the work.

He doesnt give too much work and he makes the class very enjoyable.

He is very chill and lenient. If you do the essays you will pass. Attendance is mandatory and you do not use the textbook that much. Overall recommend taking his class.

For his classes, attendance is pretty mandatory since you need to know the assignments he gives out. The assignments themselves are pretty easy. As long as you come to most of his classes and do the assignments in time, you'll be fine. Can get sidetracked from time to time while discussing topics from the syllabus but gets the job done. Easy class

Most of the class is attendance. Easy A in the class as long as you put effort into your work and it shows. He makes you work for an A.

If you want a chill, relaxed teacher where you can sit back and listen to him talk about whatever he feels like for 1:15, Kwame's the guy. If you are a serious student who wants to meticulously learn the ins and outs of your specific subject, look somewhere else. Otherwise, do the work and you'll do fine.

He is a very chill cool guy. Takes a very long time to take attendance. Mostly talks about other topics rather than the actual work. Do all the essays and read the stories carefully and you will easily pass. Basically just showing up for attendance because he is always talking about random stuff. if you need help with something he will help.

This was my favorite Professor I ever had. Our class didnt even seem like a classroom. Everyone was so comfortable with each other and we all spoke out loud like a big discussion at all times. Professor is hilarious and very laid back when it comes to work. If my whole class forgot about a paper, hed push the date back.

Great Professor, Very Strict on attendance & Very fair when it comes to grading. Every Grade is well deserved. Make sure you just put time in your essays and if he sees the effort you'll be fine.

we may disagree on a lot including politics but his stories and understanding of history makes this class worth taking a thousand times over. For people saying they didnt learn you clearly didnt listen. You can learn a lot through someone else even if you dont agree with everything. Different perspectives are everything. Love this guy.

This was my second time taking Eng101 and I was dreading it however Prof. Kwame made his class so much fun. I could tell that he really cared about his students and wanted to get to know them instead of just giving lessons and assignments. I 100% recommend students to have Kwame as your professor he is an amazing person!!!

Kwame does get off topic but you do learn his point of view very educated individual you may disagree on his point of view also he may take a while to do attendance not so tech savvy. But just get your assignment in and participate in reading you'll be fine.

Honestly not a tough grader. You must do the papers he assigns, he gives you enough time. If he says read a chapter, just read the chapter so you atleast know what he's talking about in class. I recommend.

All of the ratings aside, I did enjoy having Prof Kwame this semester. Yes he would go off-topic often, talking about his life EVERY CLASS, but as someone who grew up in another country and moved to America, he is highly intelligent in the English language. His stories are also pretty funny. If you like conversation, this is your class.
