Very knowledgeable guy about economics he just doesn't know how to teach it. He gives a lot of pop quizzes making it essential that you have to go to class. He doesn't really seem to care if the students are learning anything. If you ask a question he will make you feel stupid for asking. I wouldn't recommend having him as a professor.

Lectures are boring and long, He says the word "Righhhhhttt" a million times per lecture. Tests keep getting harder and harder, definitely going to be a challenge taking this class it won't be an easy A or even an easy B. *Take at your own risk*

Mr. Park is very knowledgeable and knows how to handle the class. Plenty of extra credit opportunities. Cumulative exams and pop quizzes. Focus on his lecture and review questions before the exam. Good luck!

If you go to class and read the book--VERY EASY A. He curves the grades at the end by 2 letter grades. I had an A before the curve so ended up with an A+. He gives pop quizzes, so you should go to class. Take advantage of his office hours because he will go over the exam with you. No homework and easy E.C. assignments each week.

Dr. Park can come off as a strict professor who expects a lot in AT FIRST. But if you come to class and pay attention he will recognize this. Doing that combined with making regular visits to his office when you need help will ensure that you pass the class. He makes every effort to help you when you ask for it. Doesn't get the credit he deserves.

Very tough. He gives a lot of extra credit though and it bumped up my grade a whole letter at the end. The exams are hard so make sure you study, but he uses questions from previous exams too. There are 3 exams, 1 Final and also a group project that is very tough.

Dr. Park is clear in what he expects from students. Do EXACTLY WHAT HE ASKS. The extra credit REALLY helps. This course is the hardest course I've ever had to take. The exams are difficult, watch for trick questions. The reviews he posts are almost identical to what the exams are. Stick with it!! Don't drop, even if everyone else is.

The best teacher I've ever met. Just follow what he said, you will get an easy A. I learned 1000 times more in this class than any other classes. My point a view has changes tremendously and I decided to study Economics as my major .

By far the worst teacher I have had in my life. I've had professors teach in languages I don't understand and learnt more. No teaching skills whatsoever, all he does is read off his notes and his PowerPoint that appears to be one of those pre-made PowerPoints. Very arrogant, rubs off in his teaching.

His class is very tough. However, he really knows what he's talking about. If you put the time and effort in, you'll pass for sure. My class started with 11 students, and ended with only 4. We got a lot more one-on-one time, and he's actually pretty funny. Overall, put in the work, show you care, and you will definitely pass.

the way he teaches in class and the way he ask questions in class are completely different. To make it worse he has no study guild and instead tells you to learn from the book. The book is completely different from his teaching. I would have been better off just learning on my own

No Cengage, just old textbook studying. I took the class synchronous meaning zoom meetings (1 hour+). Had a quiz on D2L for each chapter (10 -15 multiple choice questions) 3 exams on D2L (ranging from 50-55 multiple choice questions) which are PROCTORED and a final exam(yet to take). Hope this that helps. Major required this class (MRKT). A- is 85%

Prof. Park is a stats pro. He can answer any question you have in class easily. He works through helpful examples in each lecture. Only 3 exams kept stress low. Chapter quizzes helped review too; they closely resemble the exams. Be sure to research stats vocab before/during the course. Overall, Park is a kind guy who wants his students to succeed.
