Great teacher

One of the best teachers I've ever had. Gives alot of examples. Test are multiple choice quizes are not though. Bonuses on test. If you go to the SI sessions she gives extra credit on tests.

She is a great teacher, once again - I took her for Mat0024 also. She is very simple and helps you until you understand. Gives quizzes, extra credit to help with understanding and grades.

Teaches right out of the book, word for word. She answered all of my questions, even if it was something we already covered. She doesn't make you feel uncomfortable or inferior, she always asks during class if anyone has any questions, and you can also ask her questions after class. She also has a sense of humor!

Her tests are extremely hard. Its not like the examples she gives in class. She is down to earth. She curves test grade by 15 points if most of the class did bad.

Learning in this class is so easy. She breaks everything down into steps. You have to be pretty dumb-minded or just don't know how to listen to not understand the work. I recommend this teacher to everyone. Wish i had a teacher like this back in high school.

If you need to pass MAC1105, take this class. tests are all MC and quizzes are only 20% of your grade. very leinient and CRYSTAL CLEAR lecture. she tells you repeatedly that she will help anyone who comes to her office, and i have to say she is an EXCELLENT teacher. if you take her, and show up to class you will be fine. i passed with a 100% !

I took her online class and it was great!!! All due dates are on syllabus and you study on your own. The preparation for final was excellent!!! The questions were same as on preparation, only numbers changed for new mathematical calculations. Math is very hard for me, but after finishing this class, I feel that I will get an A in a next one.

Prof Williams is great. Do the homework, as for her help and keep up and you will do fine. Drops your lowest quiz, review sheets for each test. She is fun and makes math somewhat fun to learn. Definetly recommend her.

I have had professor Williams for College Algebra and now Intermediate Algebra online. Although online math is tough, I believe she gives the students every chance to do well. Sometimes things seem a little unorganized, but she is really nice!!

Professor Kyla Williams is great! I just took her online class during summer and I highly recommend her! She always replies promptly to emails. She offers extra credit opportunities to improve your grade. Sample exams are very similar to actual ones. Very helpful and worried about students success in the course. AWESOME teacher! Take her!! Please take this professor for Intermediate Algebra, College Algebra, and Pre- calculus because that all the class she teach I think. She explain the lesson pretty well and if you had questions she will take her time to explain it to you. She will move on to the next questions until you understand. Please take her she is pretty easy.

She is absolutely AMAZING! Take her don't even think about it twice! I SUCK at math and got an A. She gave us lots of opportunities to pass and even re-do our tests to improve our grade. Her midterm and final review are exact like the actual test just different numbers. She really helps you out to get the best grade you can get, unless you're lazy!

I'm not sure what everyone else thinks of this Professor, but she is a wonderful Math teacher. She works with you if you don't understand. Goes over the problems until you do. She even offers ofc. hours if you have any questions. She wants all her students to pass and understand Algebra. If she knows that you are trying she really works with you.

I took her online Pre-Calculus class and it was very manageable. So much practice is given with plenty of time. There was (4) homeworks, (4) quizzes, a midterm, & final. I still needed a private tutor and went to the math lab because I'm not great at math but I passed with a mid-B. Super happy, Don't hesitate, take her class!

This professor is the best. She explain her material really well. She answer any question you have and will not move on until you understand it. She give so many extra credit points and her test are multiple choice. I take her for Mat1033, Mac1105, and mac1140. She is really easy but for you to find her easy you have to do your homework and study.

I recommend this professor for any math course. She gives out quizzes every week but don't worry their 6 questions. Four tests but she gives out a review for every one and a final. Study the review and you will pass with a 100% TAKE HER! She gives out extra credit always. She's actually extremely funny.

Just finished taking this online course and prof. Williams is very very helpful. I know she would be even better in person, I would definitely take her course. For the first time in my life I got an A instead of an F in math. Study and you will pass.

Professor Williams is an excellent Math teacher. Moves a little fast in class, quiz every week, 6 questions. Study the practice questions on D2L as the exams are similiar. Study and you will do well.

I took her online class and found her to be very helpful. I've taken precal, college math, and the prep algebra with her and she has been fantastic each time. I have always taken her online, maybe I will sit in one of her classes next. Do not hesitate to sign up for one of her classes.

Prof. Williams was very helpful in my understanding of this course back in the late 80's (yes, before the internet). She answered the student's questions and provided many examples and graphs to help convey the subject. A very memorable instructor.

This class is super easy. I got an A and I am not even strong in math. She responds quickly to emails and she gives two weeks for each hw assignment and quiz. The midterm and final she allowed to be taken at home. She doesn't count the hw, but I do recommend you do it. I recommend.

Took her pre-cal class online class over the summer. I didn't buy the book, just bought the access code online. That's all you really need. There are 4 quizzes, a midterm and a final. She gives GREAT practice examples for optional homework that will be very similar to the graded work. Not too much work, just don't procrastinate, and you'll do well!

Took this teacher based on reviews and glad I did. Very easy to understand and willing to help. Textbook not needed, just ALEKS. 6 question quizzes and multiple choice tests. Way too much work on ALEKS though, and it's annoying.

Professor Williams is an excellent math professor and an awesome woman. I took her for all my earlier remedial math courses except MAT1033 and all were good experiences. She explains the material well, is more than fair, and is a true math wizard. Study and keep up with Aleks and you'll be all set.

Professor Williams is an excellent professor. She cares about her students and wants you to succeed, but only if you work for it. Laziness is not in option in this course. Math is not my strong subject but the class is doable.

Prof. Williams is one of the very few math teachers that make failing this class kind of impossible. If you do the work and put in the time you should have no worries. I must admit I slacked a little but still managed to pass. If I had kept up with everything I would have got an A or B in this course. Overall she's great she gives you plenty of chances to improve your grade. I would recommend her any day.

This was an online 6 weeks class. We used Aleks which gives you tons of work. I didn't have a life for 6 weeks. Professor answered emails and comments quick, seemed nice. Can't say much since I didn't meet her personally, but I had no problems.

This class isn't easy but she's a really great teacher and it's almost impossible to fail with her. Just ask questions and ask her for help if you need it. She gives out extra credit sometimes but if you get a 100 on aleks guaranteed to pass.

What can I say. This professor is absolutely amazing. She has clear and concise grading and really has a passion and art for what she does. If you need help, just come to her office and she will help you. If you send an email, she's quick to respond. Questions, she explains. Dr. Williams, I thank you for your support in this challenging class.

I took the 6 week online course, and you absolutely need 6-8 hours per week for studyhomework. There are 3 tests, each is worth 25% of your grade. I am a poor test taker, but if you shoot for an A or B on your Pie in ALEKS, ace the discussions, and overall show you're trying your hardest, it's hard to fail. She cares about student success.

This was a redesign so there were videos but she didn't always use them, she taught sometimes and asked if we had questions between the videos. She helped on the worksheets that were every day if you asked for help. You HAVE TO DO ALEKS. No extra credit or test reviews. Going to her office helps and she will do a test review in her office.

She is a great teacher! Helped me with a lot. If I had the choice i actually would take the class again. All you have to do is take notes and you will pass the class.

She will stop to make sure you understand, and has plenty office hours if you need them. Aleks is very important in this class so be prepared to purchase that, you don't use the textbook so I wouldn't recommend buying it. She has a sense of humor and is easy to get along with. She is super cool. She doesn't really teach. She shows videos (that you can access online) of someone else doing the lesson then explains why the answer is what it is. Then after the videos she'll assign a worksheet that corresponds with the lesson. The worksheet is also used for attendance. She also drops the 4 lowest worksheet grade.

This teacher is crystal clear about what she wants. she rights everything on the board and asks if anybody has any questions all the time. I have went up to her after class and she was very helpful and helped me with my problem. Pay attention, if you don't understand, ask a question and you will pass the class no problem. You do have ALEKS.

This professor was amazing. She lectures by doing problems and explaining them step by step. (If you have a question she answers all of them and isn't intimidating) I took the 8 weeks course; no midterm, 5 tests (one including the final, which she allows a cheat sheet), and mylabsplus which was annoying but doable. She Also drops your lowest test.

Professor Williams is amazing, she teaches step by step with problems and answers any questions you may have without being intimidating. I had a class that only met once a week so she would have to squeeze in 5 lessons in one day so notes went by quickly. Tests are easy, multiple choice, and always 20 questions.

Amazing teacher, I'm good in math but i always look for professor who know how to teach a class AND SHE DOES!! amazing, she is clear, answer any question, uses a tentative schedule with "homework" you can use to study for quizzes, every quiz has extra credit, there is no way to fail, plus you LEARN! win win situation. One of the coolest professors ever. She will simplify anything you don't understand. Come on time (up to 15 mins late) she takes attendance. She drops lowest grades, curves grades at the end of the semester and gives easy tests. Tbh, she didn't like me (I'm weird) , but still she's super fun and down-to-earth. Office hrs and mathlab for extra help.

I love this professor so much. This is my second time taking her class. i had her in MAC1105 also. her teaching is on point, short, and easy. She goes over every step of problems and asks if you need help. She allowed us to take every test at home. Aleks is really what hurts your grade if not done.. no quizzes at all. I wish she tought Statistics!

Math is my worst subject and I got a 100% in her class. I got an A on every test, and she offers extra credit each time there's a test. Extra credit alone could bump you up a whole letter grade. BEST teacher to take for math. She's hilarious and makes class not so bad!

Professor Williams is great! I took her 6-week summer course. I passed with an A! Math is a weak subject for me but Prof. Williams made it easy to pass her class. You will likely pass if you put in the effort and study. She gave us a lot of extra credit. Probably enough to boost us up a letter grade. There are 4 tests and 8-10 short Kahoot quizzes.

Calculus is hard in general but Dr. Williams explains it in a way you can understand it. As long as you take the notes she gives you and do the homework you should be ready for the test and quizzes. I would recommend that you brush up on your factoring and complex fractions because she will not go over it since it should be prior knowledge.

Won't judge a professor by personality, just teaching style, so, here it is! Professor Williams teaching is the BEST! Really knowledgeable on the subject! HW are optional and not graded, few quizzes and one test for chapters, one midterm, one final. Allow a index card sized cheat sheet for formula. Quite an easy class overall.

I took the Mat1033 six week course, I wish I couldve taken her class for a longer semester. Great lectures and explanations and reasonable. During the summer course we had a quiz every time we met on what we learned and although they were tough I learned a lot and I got a good grade. Be ready to work !!!

She's pretty decent. I wouldn't sweat that much if you're late occasionally. She's pretty lenient and I don't get anxiety from her class. Her tests are not that hard. Just take notes and do the homework. Pretty easy. I might take her again for trig. I don't think she takes attendance.

Professor William is pretty good! She teaches well and most of stuff she teaches is on the test, however, she has mood swings occasionally and those are pretty unpredictable. These mood swings can impact how her tests and quizzes are like. If you study and work for it, you might get the A. Also study outside sources beside mylabs.

Solid base on calculus take her class!!! She is very knowledgeable, and you can go to her office to ask as many questions as you want. She really cares and wants you to succeed. If you don't understand a concept, she won't move on until you get it. You must do your part and do your hw. If she would teach calc 2 I would definitively take her again

Alrighty I have been out of school for a few years and honestly in this whole semester she made everything easy to learn. While waiting for class to start she has played music. Having difficulty? She loves answering questions. Worried about your grade? Email her! Need a few more points? She just gave us extra credit on a survey!

Took this class during quarantine, this class is a very test heavy class so you will need to study. I do believe that this being an online class the lecture videos that were included need to be updated because they do seem confusing. Dr. Williams is willing to listen to feedback and help you along the way as long as you put all your effort into.

Definitely take her if youre looking for an easy going professor.

THE ABSOLUTE MATH PROFESSOR AT BC!! Took her three semesters in a row with all A's. Two times in person, once online. Super clear grading. Once you pay attention and participate in class you will have no issues. Don't be afraid to ask questions either, she always responds. Her exams are not easy but they are very manageable.

I recommend taking Professor williams! she posts videos and you do the my math labs work that relates. Attendence is optional so you only show up to class for help or extra credit kahoots. Overall i loved her, she was super kind and helpful.

I took her for trig and honestly, it wasn't the best choice because it was a 6 week course. But she gave some extra credit and thats what made me pass. She is good, not a bad professor by any means. Just dont take a 6 week math class and you'll be good

I took professor Williams for trig and honestly she is a wonderful professor. She actually cares and tried to make the material manageable for us. I genuinely feel like if I had taken another professor I would not have passed. I got a C because math is my weak spot, but other than that, take her if you see a spot. You will not regret it.

She's a very good Professor and is hilarious. She is a tough grader, leading to get 70s to 80s on exams compared to previous classes where I had higher grades on exams. But the extra credit helped a lot to the point where I made it to an A. Take the opportunity for extra credit each chance you get and you may do well.

Homework is for credit but takes a while to do. No textbook but you do need to get this code to do the homework. If you don't understand something she will go over it thoroughly. Do not be afraid to ask questions, feel free to visit her office hours. Very funny, and will give extra credit opportunities. Practice and memorize formulas.

At first I thought this class would not be that bad because she has good ratings and was one of the very few that had good ratings. 5 tests are worth about 73% of your grade and not multiple choice. You really have to study hard in order to pass the tests. The final is multiple choice and she does offer extra credit toward the end of the semester.
