Prof. Barbier is a great teacher. He made pols extremely enlightening and fun. I love his class and he is also funny. Just make sure that you study, he does not suprise you with the test. As long as you keep track of your syllabus and notes and past quizzes and tests you will be okay. Oh yea dont forget to do all journals they are helpful also.

Barbieri is a wonderful professor, he gives you everything you need and never suprise you with a test or quiz. He gives study guides for test and review sheets and goes over them. No need to CHEAT! Cheaters stay away! AG.

Prof. Barbieri is an awesome teacher, anyone who is taking Political Science should take him. I live in duluth and he was worth the drive out to decatur campus. He makes it easy to understand goverment, cases, and our amendments.

He was a straight forward teacher and he tells you exactly what he is looking for on test and he is extremely clear in his delivery of knowledge. I recieved an A and I would definately take this professor again.

Prof. Barbieri knows his stuff and knows how to teach. For the first time in my life I feel confident in discussing politics, thanks to him. Pay attention in class, take good notes and you get a good grade. I was a nursing major and now I'm thinking of changing it to law after taking his course.

I really enjoyed this class. He really makes you want to learn and makes sure that you understand the material. I understand the running of the government alot more.

Mr. B is such a good teacher. I never seen a professor so passionate about what he does. This man actually walks around with the constitution in his pocket. Mr. B. is a good professor! He's passionate, concerned, and truly dedicated to making the class interested and informed. I barely know time is ticking by - that's how interesting it is. Take some notes, go over the review and you'll make an A. On tests, if a lot of students ask a question about a question, he will normally give us those points. A++

Mr. B is a GREAT Professor. I had no interest in this class but after taking Mr. B I had interest because he is very helpful, kind, and he makes the class easy.I wish Mr. B taught more classes. He is a GREAT example as a College Professor and wish the others could take notes from him.

Mr. Barbieri makes the class very interesting. He gives study guides, but you have to study notes, book, and guide to achieve a good grade. He really wants students to take to the subject. Great class. My only negative about class was that all notes were not covered sometimes until the day of test.

Just a great teacher

If you can't pass his classes then you may want to consider dropping out of college. Easily one of the nicest teachers on campus. He answered every question I had, and he'll even study with you. He didn't use the assigned textbook too often though.

I am a political science major. I fell in love with the subject because of a teacher i had in high school, and this guy reminded me of him. You can tell he loves to teach the subject and interact with his students. he has great communication skills and is very helpful.

Mr. Barbieri made taking political science a great experience. during fall sememster i had taken it and failed horribly but when it came to Barbieri he made it so worthwhile. Missing his class is like not caring because if you miss his class you miss notes that help you with the journal entries and the study guides for the test. Mr. B is fantastic

I am 30yr Afro-Amer" I feel that this professor has got to be one of the most unbiased "awake" professors out there. He's very sharp, very clear, and very very open to discussion. He has great class control and an awesome lecture flow. He takes the American Government and breaks it down to the very core with ease! You must "listen" to pass.

I was not very interested in political science until I became his student. He is not boring and he makes learning a fun experience. He is very knowledgeable in his field and very helpful. The tests are a little tricky though; you must understand concepts to do well on the tests.

Prior 2 taking this class, I thought it would be such a bore. Prof B is very knowledgeable in his field of teaching. I learned a lot by being in his class in which I never grasp previously. There is some textbook use, but 4 the most part he does use power points n breaks down what u need to know 4 an exam b4 an exam. 1 of the best profs on campus.

Very good professor. He makes the information interesting and I didn't mind attending class. He's very clear on the work and what he's looking for and when things are due. No pop quizzes.

One of the best teachers i ever had. You'll need to go to all of his classes and take all his notes, and he won't give you any extra credit. But he makes sure you understand what he's teaching and will help you in anyway he can. His tests are good as long you read all his notes and do the journal assignments and are pretty straight forward.TAKE HIM

very, very, very good teacher. was not interested in politics but i learned a lot about it in his class. you have to study for tests because he words the questions to see if you really know it. go to class because he won't give you his notes like other teachers. although i got a C which is my first i still say take him. you learn a lot!

Dr B is an awesome instr. I am no fan of politics, after taking him I became knowledgable. Heres the thing, u must come 2 class and take emaculate notes. do ur journals & term paper. his test r a bit tricky. Kyle Barbieri is Great Teacher! He makes this subject interesting. Really great at explaining.!!BUT his Tests are challenging!!!

I hated Poly Sci in high school but Mr. Barbieri made me think about going into poly sci as a major. He makes my 7am class worth going to (and believe me I am NOT a morning person). He explains everything in simple terms so even a frog can understand but he expects you to go that extra level on tests. If you study your guranteed a passing grade

Nice guy, very passionate, knows everyone's name and is very approachable. If you are a liberal, he is perfect for you. Not so much if you are republican, keep it to yourself, and take notes (he brags about how many republicans drop out of his class). You basically have 4 tests, and 4 quizzes, he drops the lowest test and he gives extra credit.

The best instructor I have ever had, hands down. I had his 7:00 A.M class, but his lectures kept me wide awake. He is funny, engaging, and truly loves teaching. His tests and assignments were very fair. Everything on the tests and quizzes were to be expected. Very fair grader. Very nice guy. You HAVE to take him, or else you're missing out!!

TAKE THIS PROFESSOR! He rocks! Class was so much fun. He converted me to minor in ppolitical science. He makes the subject matter very easy to understand, and makes you want to come to class. 100% recommend him. As long as you understand the concepts you will do fine on the test.

Probably the BEST class I have EVER taken during the course of my learning. He kept us informed, used real life examples to relate to the course, and taught us what truly mattered on the subject. Seriously one of the best, if not THE best, teachers I've ever had in my life. He made a subject I initially hated enjoyable. Amazingly helpful, intelligent, patient, and just an all around a cool, nice guy. Note that you do have to read the textbook as there are questions on the test not covered in class. Couldn't ask for a better teacher!! :)

Great Professor one of the best I ever had. Went in thinking it was going to be my least favorite class and ended up being one of my favorite. Pretty much hands you what you need for the test in the notes in class.

Prof. B is amazing. He teaches and explains very clearly and is readily available for further explanation if you need it. You have to read in order to pass, but his study materials are not difficult nor do they attempt to confuse you. A big plus is... he does NOT make you write papers O_O (Thank God)!!

Not an easy A, however if you do not skip lectures it is easy to get B.

Tests are very tricky possible multiple choice answers are grouped. So answer to Question 1 would be: (Answers 1 & 3 Only), (Answers 2, 3 & 4), (Answer 1 & 5 Only), (Answers 2, 4 & 5). Tests are based on Lectures and some of the book. 3 Tests, none are dropped, Final replaces lowest test. Entertaining class, but not an easy A.

By far one of the greatest teachers in GPC. I don't understand how you can fail his class as long as you participate in his class. Don't listen to the reviews with negative comments, this teacher is amazing. As long as you do the homework (which is like 6 questions) and do the study guide, which is literally the test questions, you WILL make an A.

I loved his class. He was very organized and his lectures were always interesting. If you take good notes (copy the notes he presents) and study you will definitely pass. He provides study guides for all his tests, and everything on the tests comes straight from his notes........ He is an awesome professor. TAKE HIS CLASS.

Very strait forward and to the point. No extra work, just go to class, write down all the notes that he neatly & clearly put on PowerPoint and study them then take the test. That is it!

His Political Science class will teach you a lot about American government. He focuses on getting you to understand the concepts instead of just memorizing random names, facts etc. He makes sure to ask if anyone has any questions before proceeding during class and teaches at a nice pace to where classes are not boring or slow.

I absolutely adored Barbieri! He was very clear in his lectures and was very knowledgeable about whichever topic was at hand. He throws in some humor in his lectures (nothing corny or hair-pulling), but was also very specific and concise . I enjoyed his class to the fullest and hope some other professors will take notes on Kyle Barbieris's style.

Kyle has a wonderful talent as a professor. He is strict, but easy and to the point at the same time. He gives study guides for every test, and each test correllates perfectly with a completed studyguide. Most extraordinary was the fact that I ended up being FASCINATED by GOVERNMENT! this is the best teacher ever. i am majoring in computer science i on ly understand numbers but this guy made me love classes like polys 1101 the way he teaches is son smooth you;ll get everything. he's test are a lil bit tough but u'll be ok

If you go to classes and take notes, do homework, review study guide, then you can get an A easily. He is the easiest teacher I've ever had. Only 4 test, 1 final, and an homework assignment that's due on the last class. Very easy to get a good grade! And he's a very nice professor. Love his lectures!

This is the best Professor I have ever had!

All A student, 1st B from this class. Not very hard and a straight forward class. EVERYTHING in the lecture, other than the ones he tells you not to write down, WILL be on the test. SG are given for all tests. Hard part of this class is MC test. Miss more than 3 Q's on the test, you already have a B. Don't buy textbook, use google for definitions.
