Dr. Bartow is an extremely good professor. Read the textbook chapters. For tests, he gives 10% extra credit quizzes. Much recommended!! :)

Was a good teacher, no problems. Straight lecture though, not a ton of class/teacher interaction. Was always more then willing to answer questions even on test days. No complaints. Would attend again.

I was honestly dreading A&P lab. After taking this class, I feel more confident and know that not only did I get a grade I never thought was possible, but I actually learned something. If you have a really hard time in lab, take him, you won't regret it! I am already signed up to take him next semester! By far the best lab teacher I have had!

Wish I could take all my classes with him or his wife (she's wonderful too). If you don't pass his tests or fall behind.. it's pure laziness. I changed my work schedule to have Dr. B and it was worth it. TOTALLY chill, nothing "to prove". Doesn't treat anyone like they're stupid or beneath him. He answered our endless questions with endless patience. His class is not easy but if you study and do the homework and extra credit you should be fine. I'll be taking him for AP2 lab as well.

Professor B is a gem. IRSC is very fortunate to have such a teacher. He actually wants his students to succeed, he is very clear in his power points and lectures, making the material a lot easier to understand and learn. I will be taking him again for A&P2.

Professor Bartow is an excellent professor. He is really chill but at the same time helpful. Don't be afraid to ask him questions, he is there to help! I got A's on my first 3 tests but failed the last exam due to absences. So, ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY. Also make sure you do the homework, and you will pass!

Allows you to turn in all homework the day of the practical, he is very clear on what is going to be on the practical. Hands down the nicest professor I've had at IRSC, and he's funny too! Am going to try to take him for AP2 Lab. It's a hard subject, a lot of memorization, but Professor Bartow always finds a way to make it fun and easy to remember!

Dr. Bartow answered everyone's question's with a happy disposition. He is patient and knowledgeable. His heart is young and made everything fun! I learned so much from him as he explains things clearly and then lets you get right to your cat with as much assistance as needed.

Professor Bartow was a very good teacher. This is not an easy class, but he explains the material well with good examples. Don't miss class, it's a lot of information. Memorize what he has on his study guides and the sample tests and you will get an A. It's a lot of studying, but anything you don't understand, he will stay after class to help you.

Biology is boring, and difficult, but he made it interesting and somewhat easy. If you want an A or B, you will have to study A LOT. But thats with any science class.

My absolute favorite teacher of the semester . His class was very fun, and very easy for me. I studied allot, all the assignments are tests. He reads off of powerpoints for his lectures, and all the power points are available on black board. He gives out study guides and practice problems.

Classes are super easy, 5 assignments and 5 tests. He always let our class out super early and I never really had to study for any of the tests to pass. I suggest taking him.

There are only two practicals which gives you plenty of time to study for them. He gives you a study guide to let you know what will be on the test and that paper itself will help you a lot so you don't go learning things you don't need for the exam. Funny guy, he knows what he's talking about and loves to help. Not much homework either.

Took him for lab. He is a very good teacher. Always answers questions when you have them. The only downfall is their is only 2 tests for the whole class. So basically you fail one test you will be lucky to get out of there with a C. Gives some extra credit on tests. Tests can be hard but if you study the study guides you will get an A.

Took him online & had a wonderful experience. Echo360 is LIFE! Used it to complete all study guides which helped a lot on exams. Drops lowest exam & 2 lowest quiz. Lectures are made relatable & easy to understand. ASC tutors can also be a great help. Book not bought but can come in handy for studying. Taking again for A&P II

If I could take Bartow for every class, I would! He's super approachable which makes asking questions easier! There's study guides for every test which help SO much! He's just all around an amazing guy. I can't say enough awesome things about him. You rock Dr. Bartow!

He has all the notes online, along with a study guide. You could skip his classes, which is just presenting off the power point, and be fine. He also has small assignments due like every two weeks.

Very helpful, tries his best to work with his students. What I did since the study guides helped a lot on exams but weren't really condensed is I would read over the PowerPoints over & over again then try to answer study guide without looking and I did well on exams, that helped. Took during summer so it was a lot but enjoyed his class.

Dr. Bartow is willing to help which is GREAT with a difficult class like this! I am a psych. major & this was the last class standing in the way of starting my B.S. I took it once with a terrible teacher, dropped it and then signed up with Dr. Bartow (thank goodness!) I still had to work VERY hard but he was there to give guidance the whole way.

You get what you put into it. I really liked his class, and through emails he seems very relaxed and a good teacher. Do the study guides and listen to the lectures and you will get an A. Midterm and Final are take home which is awesome. 6 tests.

Prof. Bartow is a great guy- I can tell. He knows his stuff, and apparently is a Marine biology major (which is pretty cool). Lectures are long and lenient, but as long as you keep up with the Pearson Mastering Homework (use the book to find the answers), and quizzes (which help remember the material), you'll do fine ! The text you use is great too

This was such a fun class ! The only downfall is there are only a few things that are graded, so you need to do well on everything in order to pass. Super hands on- you will need dissecting kits and gloves etc. YES you need the IRSC lab book, it also helps so much for lecture and testing for both classes. Fun, and engaging, I loved it !

Professor Bartow is by far my favorite professor I've taken thus far. He is well organized, outgoing, cool guy! If you have any issues or questions he is always there to help out. Basically if you pay attention in class while following the chapter notes, complete the study guides, do hw and quizzes before due date, you will do great in his class!

A great teacher for this class. There is a large amount of material that must be memorized, but all information for the practicals are in the power points. Use flash cards made from the power points and study, study, study! Just a little effort for this class will go a long way.

Taking a science course online is hard, but Professor Bartow will go above and beyond to help you! He provides recorded lectures, study guides, extra credit, and is always available to help you! If you arent able to attend a lecture in person and have to take online, I recommend Professor Bartow! Hes amazing!

This online course was difficult, however Bartow does his best to provide you with the resources needed to pass. His study guides can be vague and feel overwhelming. look at the online homework and the quizzes before the test, very similar questions. extra credit is also a savior.

For his labs, he gives a great lecture. He provides a practice quiz that is optional, but let's you know if you are ready for the lab practical. 4 lab practicals throughout the semester with bonus and freebie questions on each. Online A&P1 Summer A; difficult subject Dr. Bartow has the course set up so you pass if you put in effort. Online videos from lecture helps you to understand difficult processes of the body. I would not hesitate to take another course where he is the Professor. Easy to reach by text or email, answers all questions.

I took Dr. Bartow online for both A&P 1 and 2. He is a very interesting professor. His lecturing can get a little dull, but since I watched them online I watched them at 1.25x speed, and it worked great. Beware that A&P 2 involves more critical thinking than A&P 1. Highly recommend this professor.

Love this class! The online feature gives you so many study options. I have a difficult time just reading and memorizing. The study modules and quizzes really help me learn the material. I have never had a good grade in Science. But Dr. Bartow makes learning the material easy if you try. Utilize the study aides from Pearson and you will do well. A+

I took this class online with Mr. Bartow and thoroughly enjoyed it. The class consisted of 4 exams, a final exam, plus homework and quizzes that coincided with each exam. Lectures were posted online, but I found myself just reading the powerpoints to study for each exam. The exams themselves are not difficult if you keep up with the information.

I took A&P 1 online and it was pretty good. Doing the homework, quizzes and study guides there's no way you shouldn't get an A.

Professor Bartow provides clear outline of what will be required through the semester and makes it fairly easy for you to pass with an "A" if you are willing to put forth effort. There were 4 exams, quite a bit of interactive "busy work" modules, and one proctored exam. I would recommend taking this science class in person or online!

He's big dog! I love him, he gives a pretty good amount of homework, but very manageable. He's a sweetheart, can relate to your circumstances and helps you out the best way he can. I've had him for BIO, AP,AP2. Usually he does a toy drive which is really nice of him. I would take him again.

Took A&P-I for Summer A. That was my mistake- a lot of material to cram into a short amount of time. However, I found Prof. Bartows class to be fair w/ some flexibility built into it. Unit HW/quizzes will take a few hours to knock out, but are set up to give you feedback so you know what you need to brush up on. I would take him for A&P-II.

I took Dr. Bartow last semester and really enjoyed his class. He is probably the best professor I've had so far. As long as you pay attention to the lecture and do the homework you will have no problem getting an A in this course. Dr. Bartow is very receptive and understanding. If I had to retake A&P II, I would choose Dr. Bartow in a heartbeat.

One of my favorite teachers at IRSC. Cares a lot about science and his students. Always helpful and always available outside of class. Quick class based on getting students read for their next steps in life. Great in class discussions on mental health and confidence. Very sweet guy, always ready to lend an ear. Dr. Kyle Bartow is by far the best teacher I have ever had at Irsc. Before enrolling within his class I came to Rate My Professor in order to get a feel of what kind of class he taught. The ratings were all positive, which pushed me to take his course, and he lived up his reviews! Great teacher, very lenient, and helpful. Take his class! A 10/10.

The class was pretty easy. Not sure of my grade yet bcz I didn't take the final yet, but all info is there. A book is required but you fill it out during class, & it makes a very easy study guide. There are also 3D models in the room and Prof. Bartow will help you with any questions. He also gives a little bit of xtr credit based off of attendance.

He is amazing! One of the best professors I have had at IRSC. I took him for A&P 1 and A&P 2! The homework is online and very easy to do. The exams are pretty straight forward and the lectures are great!

Dr. Bartow is an amazing professor who always makes his powerpoint slides funny by putting in memes and funny videos that are related to the course and makes it easy to learn. The assignments are also fun to do and never hard (some can be long). Only have 2 tests and he has amazing study guides. If you show you care and put in effort you will pass!

This professor is very helpful and gives extra credit. The lectures are great, and the online homework is easy. Unstuck AI was a lifesaver for exam prep. Overall, a solid class if you stay engaged.
