I have no clue how Prof Camac handles some of the students in the class. For example, Matt S, cannot complete one R Exercise without help. Prof Camac literally provides all the Code and in some cases analysis and he still cant do it. He has a lot of patience. I am not sure why people like Matt S are in the program. THEY are negative people that blame the university, R, or the professor for their lack of competence.

This is the best class in the program. You continue your work from DAT650 for your project. Kyle is accessible and mentioned that it is best to use more than one model to analyze the data. He was right. I used random forest and logistic regression. His recommendation of logistic regression really helped me see the data from a different view point.

I got a lot out of this course. For me, it was difficult material, but after reviewing it over and over, it began to all make sense. In week 4, I was rather discouraged as I was having trouble making sense of everything, but by week 7 it all started to come together.

This course was an eye-opener with respect to operational risk. While the course didn't really focus on data analytics per se, it did speak to why analytics is important for companies. The R exercises were the best in the program so far and the professor did a great job providing examples.

Kyle is a great instructor that truly wants his students to succeed in the course. He runs through every exercise the week himself before the students are supposed to attempt them to make sure that everything runs smoothly. This was my 5th term in the program and he's the first instructor that has been this engaged and thorough with our coursework.

The best teacher at SNHU!

Challenging course, but Dr. Kyle Camac provided additional resources and provided help!

I had a hard time with the project, but thankfully, Dr. Camac helped me a lot and I got back on track after the first few weeks of the class.

I hope the R exercises don't get more difficult than they were in this class. So happy I had Dr. Camac and not the other professor. I know a student who took the other section of the course and did not have all the resources Dr. Camac provided. He even created a whole report for one of the exercises and shared it with the class.

This is the most difficult class to date for me. I am thankful to have taken Dr. Camac instead of another professor. He provided edited code and examples for all of the R exercises. I would have failed without them!

I loved the class! I am glad it is part of the final project in the analytics program. Prof. Camac is the best teacher. I hope he teacher 690 next term so I can join his class again!

The Capstone course was my favorite course in the program besides 610.

This class could have been a pain, but Dr. Camac went through the entire course and provided detailed announcements each week that clarified any questions I would have had. He goes way above and beyond any professor I have had in this program.

Hard class, but great teacher!

Dr. Camac took over the course for an instructor that wasn't doing her job. It was a complete night and day experience. Take Dr. Camac if you can for whatever class you can. Hands down the instructor!

Kyle took over for a teacher that was horrible. It gave me a different perspective of SNHU after my experience with him. I was gonna transfer.

I used Tableau for the class. I thought it was a great course! We completed a project on storms. I found it fascinating.

I have never used a program like R. I was concerned that I joined the analytics program at first after the first few lab assignments. It got easier as I got use to it.

There is a lot to do. I was busy, but I made the time to complete the discussion posts and assignments. Dr. Camac is great at giving you feedback right away. I wish more professors would turn around grades like he does.

Loved learning new topics about risk and operational risk management, which would be useful for my career

I find the incorporation of R in the homework modules quite helpful in aiding student comprehension of the concepts presented in the weekly modules. I found the exploration of ERM (enterprise risk management) tools in the final project to be very useful in expanding our understanding of operational risks.

Kyle was very responsive, offering actionable guidance. Work was graded with feedback quickly, which was able to be applied to the next module.

DAT640 is alot harder than the other courses I took. Dr. Camac is the best professor in the program. I hope to take him for 650 and the capstone.

The R assignments are the most difficult. Without the help from Dr. Camac, I would have not been able to complete them and understand what was going on.

topic was interesting, not something you normally think about when it comes to data analytics so it was very interesting to pursue this topic

Kyle is a great teacher that goes above and beyond what any other professor has done in the program.

I had taken the Capstone a few years ago, but I wanted to leave a review for how great of a teacher he is. He made me better with all of his feedback. I am in a position now thanks to him and what I learned from him. The screenshots with the code and output in reports was a game changer. My boss loves the format and so do my coworkers.

Dr. Camac took over the class for another professor. I was relieved to get a professor that answered questions and provided timely feedback. I was going to transfer to another university, but Dr. Camac changed my mind. I am taking 610 now with him. If anything, my experience has only improved since my course with him in 530.

I am so glad that my advisor recommended taking this course with Dr. Camac. He provided all the code. All I needed to do was one thing. If I would have taken the other professor, I probably would have not done well. Kyle went through all the exercises and fixed any code that needed it.

Dr. Camac provides the most thorough announcements in the program. He provides examples of code for all the exercises. The course would be much more challenging without the thorough announcements. I recommend taking Dr. Camac for whatever class you can! Im hoping he teaches the Capstone course when I take it.

The course used a great textbook and Professor Camac was always available for help. He graded quickly and answered emails quickly (lightning fast!!!). I alsovappreciated that he went through all the course materials before us to make sure it was easily understandable.

This professor is extremely organized, I appreciated both the email and Brightspace announcements. He was diligent when grading and offered a lot of useful feedback. The course structure was really interesting, it tied concepts into real world events which made it easier to grasp.

He is involved and communicates with students from before the start date through the end of the course. Not one professor showed as much interest and passion as him.

I took this class with Kyle a few years ago. I am coming back to tell current students to take his class (whatever class he teaches, take it). He is the best teacher in the school, I had two courses with him and he goes through the course materials and alters things that need to be changed, I cannot tell you how grateful I am him doing that.

Kyle provided everything for the R exercises. This made the course too easy. By the response from a student on the discussion board, I can see why Kyle provides everything to complete the exercises. I am shocked this other student could not copy his code. I got an A in the course and finished early thanks to his early grading.

Professor Camac was very quick both when grading and responding to questions. I would call him the ideal professor. Grading was fair, and if something was missing or incorrect, Professor Camac made it very clear, allowing for adjustments for future assignments.

Dr. Camac's diligence on speedy responses and grading of submitted projects was faster than any other professor I've had for this degree so far. I felt like he was equally invested in the outcome of my learning.

Kyle is a great teacher, he really cares about the material and teaching it to you regardless of all the other fluff you see nowadays in colleges across the country, he posts consistent updates/announcements, everything is clear and concise and to the point. There is nothing confusing because he is very thorough with precisely what he expects.

Best teacher at SNHU

Dr. Camac was a challenging but incredibly impactful instructor. He is a stickler for following directions and strict academic standards, but I believe that structure helped shape my growth in this course. His feedback was consistent, detailed, and honest, which pushed me to dig deeper and become more passionate about the field of data analytics.
