Kyle was great giving feedback, usually within the hour of submitting coursework. He was very easy to get hold of if me or my group had a question that needed clarifying. Great professor. Would love to have him again as my professor.
I couldn't agree more with the previous comment. Kyle is easy to get in touch with. He addresses questions and problems immediately. His discussion posts are filled with his experience and examples for the course content.
Professor Camac's course is interactive and engaging. The YouTube videos really help understand the material. His experience on the discussion board really helped connect the content to real world projects. I hope to have more courses with him!
The videos and Professor Camac's presence in the course is what separates him from every professor I have had.
Kyle is a great teacher. He provides current events and pop culture into his course. He makes learning fun.
Kyle's expectations were easy to get a grip on early in the course. His feedback was immediate and was vigilant about responding to forum posts and posting grades.
He seemed very knowledgeable about the field of project management and was in constant communication with the class about what was expected of them.
Graded quickly. Professional and quick to respond.
This is a great class and an excellent professor. He shared examples of his projects throughout the entire course. It helped me see an example for each part of the group project.
Kyle was great at communicating and organization. He seemed very knowledgeable about project management and brought real life insightful thoughts and ideas to help us learn.
He graded incredibly quickly and left detailed submission comments on every assignment
Kyle was fantastic at grading and providing feedback in a timely manner. Our assignments were always posted anywhere from 20 minutes to a few hours within the due date. Kyle was also great about engaging and providing examples and explanations for our discussions and assignments.
Great at communication and guiding weekly work.
Kyle is a fantastic leader. He is also excellent at responding and grading, quickly and efficiently.
Professor Camac grades fast and shares his experience. I learned a lot and recommend him!
I was able to use a real world project I am working on at Disney for the class project. My group members enjoyed the course and project that we worked on throughout the quarter. I appreciate the work Professor Camac did on responding to our work and how it can be improved.
I took Professor Camac for an internship course. He as extremely helpful and engaging throughout the process. He helped me initiate a plan for the organization I was working for to help improve their ERM system.
I enjoyed the class. There are a ton of group assignments/discussions, but I guess that is the point since it is a Project Management course. Kyle is engaged and shares a lot of his experience. He grades easy and quickly. I appreciated how personable he is when I had questions. I felt he cared and that I he enjoyed helping me and seeing my growth.
Kyle helped me with my internship. He was there for me when I had questions. I had to write a report for the graded portion of the internship and Kyle provided everything required. It was easy to get an A if you complete the requirements he outlines.
I really enjoyed the class. I was honestly afraid at first looking at the Syllabus, but Prof KYLE is personable and helpful. He answerEd all my questions and provided good feedback! I hope to take more classes with him! Its nice to have a teacher that cares!
The instructor provided answers to our questions in a fast and concise manners. The instructor provided our grades to our assignments with comments in a timely way.
Timely responses and interactive on discussions.
He seemed very knowledgeable about the field of project management and was in constant communication with the class about what was expected of them.
One of, if not, the best teacher I have had this entire degree. He responds back to students within a day. He clearly states what is needed for each assignment. He also sends out reminders that clearly state what is due in the next couple of days. I have never experienced that and it was very helpful.
This class has a lot of discussion posts and assignments, but I felt I learned a lot and Professor Camac is the most helpful teacher I have ever had. He went out of his way to share examples of projects he worked on in the past and he graded the discussions and assignments quickly with good feedback.
He is absolutely the fastest grader and gives the best feedback of any professor that I have worked with. He split us into groups of 3, which was fantastic! There was a great mix of group and individual assignments, and the individual portions were applicable to the group work. One of my favorite classes so far. It was a lot of content to cover.
It was very easy to figure out what we needed for each assignment. Once we submitted an assignment, Kyle was quickly able to grade it and give us feedback on the assignment. I also liked the constant updates and reminders about the discussion posts and assignments due.
Prof. Camac is amazing! I have never had a professor be so involved and share so much of his experience in a class before. It was helpful in learning the frameworks and templates.
I do not believe there is another professor on the planet that cares more than Professor Camac. He participates on the discussion board, spending a lot of time sharing his experience. He responds to everyone's questions with grace and humility. He is by far the best professor at DU.
This course has a ton of assignments and discussion posts but it is the best class I have taken. Kyle is very active in helping students in MS Project and shares a lot of his own personal projects.
There are a lot of discussion posts required every week. There are group assignments and individual assignments. The course is work intensive, but its all relevant information for project management. I really like the class and Kyle's teaching style.
The instructor would respond to everyones individual post when grading to explain what was valuable about their discussion. This allowed us to tailor our further responses. I also appreciated the power point presentations. This allowed me to learn in many different ways throughout the course ensuring the material was retained.
Kyle was great at providing positive and constructive feedback. I appreciated the tone in his writing and felt more positively reinforced than put down, even when given feedback on areas of improvement. Grading was also done in a timely manner with detailed instructions and examples clearly laid out in the assignment's prompt.
Kyle is a very involved instructor, often posting first on discussion forums to give us a sense of direction. He also gave great, in-depth feedback on all assignments and answered all questions in a timely fashion, if not immediately.
Response time on emails or questions was fantastic. I've never had another professor utilize Canvas as well as he did. I appreciated the examples given with assignments. In every other class I have taken in this program I have asked for examples to ensure understanding in my feedback. Great class where I actually learned new topics.
1) I enjoyed learning about Microsoft Project and being able to download the program 2) Kyle was very prompt in his response time which I really appreciated
Kyle was very flexible and adaptable in accepting various points of view. He was extremely timely at providing grades. His content was appropriate for the course.
There isn't a professor I have had that is more involved in the class than Prof. Camac. He goes above & beyond to share examples, respond quickly to emails/questions, & grade w/ constructive feedback within a day of submission. He wrote a letter of recommendation that helped me get a new job! I am going to take him for the internship course next!
This is my first class that I have taken online and I have to say that Dr. Camac did an excellent job making the class interactive and engaging. He posts examples for each discussion each week which made it easy to see the material applied in a real world situation. I also found the examples he posted with each assignment to be extremely helpful.
Professor Camac is one of the best professors I have experienced at the University of Denver. I took ICT-4100 with him and I knew I wanted to do the internship course with him because of his engagement in the course. The internship was rather easy as the only assignment was to produce a presentation for a 4 credit course. Thank you Dr. Camac!
Dr. Camac is the BEST professor! He posts before the week begins with his experience and knowledge on the topic. He grades within 24 hours of submission for all assignments. The class is a lot of work, but I learned a lot!
Kyle was very quick to grade and provide feedback. He was also great with answering questions! I highly recommend Kyle!
Prof. Camac is a great teacher! He has a lot of patience. There are a couple students in the class that have BIG EGOS and think their opinions are above all others. Prof. Camac did a great job bringing them down to earth in a professional and strategic way.
I took the Organizational Leadership internship with Professor Camac. I got 4 credits for creating presentation and connecting the course work at DU and how it helped me in the internship. It was a great reflective exercise and Professor Camac is an easy going nice guy to work with. I highly recommend you take all of his courses!
Kyle is a great person. He really cares about his students. I had a course with him previously and I saw how much he cared about his students in how he interacted and spent so much time on grading and feedback to help students like me understand fully why each step & requirement were important. The internship course with him lived up to everything
I couldn't' have asked for a better Capstone Advisor than Professor Camac. He helped me out tremendously with the statistics aspect of my project since he has a background in it and graduated from Northwestern. He is the most passionate and engaging professor I have ever had. I am so glad I took ICT-4100 and ICT4890 with him.
What I thought was great about this class was the interaction of the instructor on the discussion board. He provided examples and additional guidance within his posting. It was great that the instructor keep in contact throughout the class by email, announcements and discussion board. He definitely participated in the class activities. Great class!
I've only had 4 classes in this program, and Kyle is the best instructor I've had. I don't know what I'd change to make him better. He's already great!
I didn't realize it at the time because it was one of the first courses in the program I have taken, but he is by far the best teacher I've had (undergrad and grad). He shares his experience, grades with in depth feedback, and wrote a letter of recommendation that helped me land my dream job!
Kyle is the best teacher! He provides feedback within 24 hours of submission no matter the day it is throughout the week! This course keeps building upon itself so it is important to get feedback right away. Kyle does that and exceeded my expectations as a teacher!
This course is perfect for my job and what I do. I was able to apply what I learned immediately. I appreciate Kyle's timely responses to questions and his fast grading turnaround.
This is the best professor (undergrad and grad). His presence in the course is unmatched. He shares his experience with his consulting projects throughout the course and he also grades fast and answers questions within less than 30 mins through email.
I couldn't be happier to have Professor Camac as my advisor for my internship. I had questions throughout the internship and he provided me with in depth answers that I was able to relate to and apply in the position. I did so well that I got offered a full time job after graduation!
There is a group project you work on for the whole course. Luckily, I had a great group and we did well! Prof. Camac participates on the discussion board. He also grades fast.
I had a hard time learning MS Project at first, but with the help of Dr. Camac, I was able to master it by the end of the course. I really liked how everything gelled together (discussions, lab assignments, and group assignments).
This is was my first class focused on project management and although I felt that I had a general understanding of project management, over the last ten weeks, I have learned that there are many components that go into a successful project.
This course is awesome. I earned 4 credits for working at a paid internship and all I had to do was a presentation at the end of it. It really did help me connect all that I have learned at the University of Denver and apply it in my job. I found it self-rewarding!
This class is a lot of work. I enjoyed learning MS Project! I thought I would hate working in groups, but I had a great group that worked well together!
Kyle was actively engaged in the course. He frequently responded to group discussions and was impressed with the turnaround time of assignments.
There are a lot of assignments each week and discussions. It is a time consuming course, but everything is relevant and needed to better manage projects.
Kyle has been the most responsive instructor I've had at DU. He responds to student emails within minutes and is very active in the discussion board posts. He actually posts responses to the prompt itself in addition to responding to student posts.
The teacher was very responsive with questions and provided a lot of relevant resources that could be used in this course and in the field.
Easy way to earn 4 credits and apply what you learn at DU in your job!
This course I thought was going to be a challenge, but Professor Camac does a great job running the course and keeping students engaged. There is a group project throughout the whole course, which I am a skeptic of classmates putting in the work like I do, but Camac made the necessary changes to group members that did not participate and contribute.
Great class! Professor Camac is the best teacher!
Kyle was incredibly engaged in the course and I appreciated his feedback and responsiveness. He seems to have a wealth of knowledge and I appreciate his energy that he brings to the course. He was was responsive, kind, and extremely professional. I do appreciate his humor throughout the course.
This is a personal preference but it is difficult to get everyone together during group work. Can classes be 50% or even 75% of the class group project instead of 100% of the class duration? Professor Camac, however, make working in groups not as challenging.
This internship course is great! You can earn up to 4 credits and all I had to do was relate the courses I took at DU to the internship. Kyle is great to work with! I recommend using him for the internship and project management class!
There are only 6 assignments total and 2 of them are group assignments. The class discussions are easy and up to date with what is happening in society. Dr. Camac completes discussion posts and grades fast.
The internship course is an easy way to apply what you have learned at DU and apply at your job/internship.
Easiest class I have taken so far. Discussions are due each week. Not that many assignments. A few group projects. I spent about 2 hours a week on the course. You can easily double up classes with this one.
This class is a lot of work, but I learned a lot. I am thankful to have had Professor Camac. I am also thankful to have a good group to work with the entire quarter!
I thought the class was easy. There are some group assignments. There are two discussions every week. There are some individual assignments. The course is up to date and current. I liked the class. It didn't feel like a lot of work at all. I thought it was easy to manage with another class.
The easiest class I have taken in grad school. The topics are great. The assignments are easy. The discussions are not like most classes. It is more real life.
Dr. Camac is involved throughout the class. I enjoyed the discussions. Usually, they are boring and text focused, but the discussion in this class are more experience based.
A lot of great topics covered in this course. It is an easy class, but I was able to take away a lot of great information and tools.
I really enjoyed the class. It was a nice break from a rigid textbook class to a more real world innovation and leadership in technology type course. I enjoyed the videos and additional resources Dr. Camac provided in the discussions.
I liked the class, classmates, and professor. The class is easy, but I did learn a lot and the professor participated and shared a lot of great information and resources.
Dr. Camac is the most active participant in the class. I have never had a professor share so much experience for each assignment each week. It made it much easier to follow and complete the assignments.
The course covered current topics in technology, corporate culture, innovation, and entrepreneurship!
Kyle is the most active professor I have had. He participates in all the discussions. He answers emails within minutes. He also grades and provides feedback the same day it is submitted.
Internship course was awesome! I got 4 credits for a presentation about how DU prepared me for my internship! Easy A!
I thought the course was pretty easy. It helped having a group with experienced team members in managing projects. Dr. Camac is a great teacher! I recommend taking it with him.
I couldn't believe I could complete an internship course and get credit for it. 4 credits too! It was awesome!
Good class. I learned a lot. I plan on taking PMP.
Great class! Dr. Camac is great!
Kyle was a great instructor, he provided constant thought-out feedback and was receptive of all emails. I also enjoyed his holiday themed responses. It was evident that Kyle was online at the same time students were so you could converse with him in real time if needed.
Communication. It was very great and easy to get ahold of Kyle for any and all questions.
The instructor was prompt in giving feedback to submissions. This was helpful with the layout of this course, where much of our work built off the previous week's assignments. The build out week by week was a great structure.
The additional YouTube videos and personal examples made the course less intimidating and I felt more connected to my teacher and classmates.
The entire course is group assignments. I found the course load manageable. I am just glad I had a good team! It made it easy to complete the work. I am also glad I got to take it with Dr. Camac. He graded each assignment fast, so that the groups could start working on the next assignment.I know most professors dont grade that fast.
The instructor's ability to explain intricate topics in a straightforward manner helped me grasp and retain the material more easily. This clarity promotes active engagement and a deeper understanding of the subject matter.
He responded very quickly to any questions. Was willing to provide support when needed.
His ability to explain intricate topics in a straightforward manner helped me grasp and retain the material more easily. This clarity promotes active engagement and a deeper understanding of the subject matter.
The curriculum flowed well. Each week built on the last and provided an excellent overview on project management.
Kyle is the most engaged professor I have ever had. He keeps in constant communication through announcements, emails, feedback comments, etc. The class is a lot of group work, but my team was great! I couldn't have asked for a better class!
Kyle is a good teacher. I had a bad group, but I still got a B. I didnt even submit the final assignment on time and got away with it. Kyle rejected my submission. Appeal anything you can do the administration and they will approve it. I got approved. I couldnt believe it.
The best group project class I could have experienced! I was pushing this class off because I knew it required group work. Kyle does a great job communicating with the class and groups. He can grade people individually even though it is a group assignment. I loved that part of it. This helped make sure all team members contributed.
I cant believe that the administration let a student in my group submit the assignment late who didnt contribute to the final project at all. She didnt even tell me she wasnt going to do anything.
Dr. Camac gave encouraging feedback and promptly. The structure of having a group project assignment each week helped further grasp the material, and he always gave thorough feedback on our assignments. His discussion posts were also helpful as he often started off the week with an information post that gave further insight into the material..
Kyle is very quick to reply with an answer. He was very thorough with his explanations and supplemental resources throughout the course.
Kyle was very active in each discussion which helped keep the conversation going. Kyle was quick to respond to emails and quick to grade assignments with very detailed feedback.
I appreciate the supplemental posts in the discussion forums from the instructor and real-world examples from his own business. The feedback on assignments was thorough and constructive.
Thorough instructions and fast grading/responses to questions
Great teacher and great class! The course is up to date on the newest technology in the marketplace. Kyle was awesome! He completed his own discussion posts and turned around grades fast.
Kyle is the only professor I have ever had that is easy to get a hold of and talk and ask questions. I wish DU let him teach more classes. I would take every course with a professor like him.
His strengths in effective communication and in-depth knowledge, coupled with his valuable feedback, enhance the overall learning experience. These strengths collectively contribute to creating a dynamic and engaging educational environment that equips students with the tools and insights they need to excel in the field of project management.
The most engaging and experienced professor I took at DU. I wish he taught more classes. I recommend taking any class you can with Dr. Camac.
Professor Camac's ICT4100 class was engaging and well-structured. His thorough feedback, clear communication, and real-world examples enhanced the learning experience. I found unstuckstudy and the textbook extremely helpful for prepping and staying on top of the course.
