Brother Jensen is a new teacher and lacks experience, however, he is very student oriented and dedicated towards helping his students to have a great experience as they learn more about the basics of psychology and prepare to take that knowledge with them as they further their degrees.

Professor Jensen is young, but the only person I would take psychology with again. It was a hard class, but he made is manageable and easy to pass if you put in a little work.

There was a reading assignment and quiz for every chapter we went over in class. His presentations were funny and effective and he was helpful if you needed to reschedule a test. It was a basic psych class and it is easy to pass if you do the assignments and show up.

Brother Jensen's test prep was amazing! I knew exactly what I needed to study so that I could get the best possible grade in all the exams we had throughout the semester. The exams applied perfectly to what we had learned/studied, and he even added 'nerdy' references (Harry Potter, Star Wars, etc.) that helped me to relax and even enjoy the tests!

Teacher is very passionate about the subject, almost every class is a lecture but with his fun quirky personality it is very fun and entertaining.

He gave specific study guides for each of the tests so you always know what to study for which is SO nice! He really cares about everyones thoughts, which is really good, but sometimes the class would get off topic and he is too nice to not let someone share their comment.

It was a little weird to have a teacher that was younger than I am, but it was a very fun class. Guaranteed if you remember to take the weekly quiz and MASTER his review guides you will get an A in the class. On every test 80% of the questions are pretty straight forward and simple 20% are pretty challenging.

Brother Jensen was a really good professor! He was clear in his lectures and was always open to questions. We had quizzes once a week, sometimes twice depending on how fast we got through a chapter but they are all open book! For each exam he created a study guide and tried to do a review at the end of the class period before the exam opens! Great!

I loved Brother Jensen! When I took his class he had recently graduated, so he made our assignments more easily accessible (weekly quizzes with 2 tries & online final, so no testing center during finals week) he's easy to understand and his lessons were essential to my understanding of the topics. Lots of reading, but it's important to the quizzes.

Good teacher, tests weight heavily on grade, some extra credit. Generally a congenial fellow.

I really enjoyed having Brother Jensen as my psychology professor. His lectures were always very thorough. He specified what we would be tested on and ensured that we were well prepared to take the exams. Brother Jensen is an excellent teacher. Brother Jensen was a great PSYCH111 teacher!! He made each class super entertaining, and he made everything really clear to understand. You do read the chapter and take a quiz on it before he lectures on that specific chapter, but its not hard at all. The exams are easy if you study the material. Overall, this was a great class and I learned a lot!

I took this class for my major and would do it again in a heartbeat! Brother Jensen is super dorky and funny! He's super clear about what is on the tests and it's not hard to get an A. Whenever you have a question (even if it's super random) and he doesn't know it, he will look it up and have an answer the next class which I think is super awesome!

I really liked how he made all his slide shows available to us. It also made Exam power points, and study guides as well. He was good at answering questions on the spot and if he didn't know he would go and find out for us.

Something that made him so awesome was that he graduated a semester before he taught our class and he was about our same age so he understood the difficulties and stresses that students face. He understood that we have lives outside of class as well as only gives reading chapters as homework.

Brother Jensen is a super young professor so he's really understanding when it comes to assignments and missing class. However, attendance isn't mandatory because you quiz on the chapter before he teaches it and he just reads off the powerpoint and posts it after class. The tests were very difficult and required lots of studying. Worth it.

I have only been in the class one time so I don't know a whole lot of suggestions on ho to improve yet. So far I think he is a great teacher, is fun, is clear on what he will expect from us, and is funny!

It is an easier class than most. he goes over everything in class that you will need to know. You will still have to work a bit and do some studying before the tests but it isn't hard by any means.

Brother Jensen is pretty cool, and I really enjoyed learning from him. He makes AWESOME fandom references in his test questions and on his slides, which made learning from him really fun, and it was easier to remember stuff. He is excellent at answering questions and listening to student's answers and ideas.

Brother Jensen brings his enthusiasm for the subject to each lecture. Questions are encouraged and he does his best to explain and clarify subject matter. He does a test review before each exam that covers everything on the exam. If you take good notes and stud the reviews, you will do fine on the tests. Definitely would recommend him.

Brother Jensen is a good teacher. There are 6 tests and a final. All of the slides are online and attendance is not mandatory. There is a decent amount of extra credit available. Not a hard class but still learned lots. Super interesting.

Brother Jensen is very young but does a good job of explaining things in class. He is very willing to listen to your ideas and will look up your questions if he doesn't know the answer right then. His test reviews are awesome and you know basically what is on the test.

Brother Jensen is amazing! He knows what he is talking about and is more than happy to answer questions you have. The best part would definitely have to be his tests though! He has fandom based questions and actually makes test more enjoyable. ( as enjoyable as a test can be!)

I think the course was quite easy and Brother Jensen did a good job of teaching it. He goes through powerpoints for each class which can be kind of boring, especially adding that with Brother Jensen's monotone voice most of the time. He does a fantastic job of giving examples to each concept. He also does test reviews that help out A TON on exams

I've taken Psychology before in another college, but i didn't really understand it or get a good grade on it. this time its different and its not because my prior knowledge in the subject because i really didn't remember anything. he was able to relate his lectures to us as students or even to some parents.

I love Brother Jensen. He is so nerdy and fun. At first, he may seem a smidge dry but as he gets more comfortable he can make anything interesting. He is really compassionate and has a great mercy rule.

If you have detailed and far reaching questions he might not be able to answer, but those are questions that are not necessary for this class. I thought he was enthusiastic and fresh. Kyle Jensen is a great teacher. He recently graduated, so he was aware of the student perspective, and what we like. His class is mostly lecture, but it is not at all boring. He brings humor and examples into every class, and I enjoyed going to class. It's not only up to him to teach you; you must put forth effort to learn. Great choice of teacher.

I really enjoyed this class! When entering into this course I believed I would be pursuing a degree in one field, but after this course, I am considering changing my major to psychology. Brother Jensen is highly knowledgeable about the information he teaches and gives great lectures. Brother Jensen is clearly very passionate about Psychology.

Bro. Jensen is a newer teacher which is nice because he is very considerate to his class about a lot of things. He knows quite a bit about the subject considering his age and I've learned a lot of interesting material in his class. He loves to add nerdy quirks wherever he can (tests, lectures, emails, etc.). He's new but he's great. You really only need to take the notes, take the quizzes, which are open note, and memorize the vocabulary stuff for the tests. It was easy. This is a great class because you actually learn, just take good notes on the lectures, but he lets you have the slides on the ILearn page.

I like him so much, he's young so he understands students. He uploads his all slides and test information on the canvas, so they are helpful. He's nice, easy A, mercy rules. Readings, quizzes homework but open book. Tests every 2 weeks.

Brother Jensen was a great teacher. I enjoyed his lectures and felt he was knowledgeable about the subject. He's dedicated and rarely ever canceled class. The class itself wasn't too difficult as long as you pay attention in lectures and study before the exams. I recommend creating Quizlets based off of your notes and the exam reviews he posts.

Yall so I already gave him a low rating cos I thought the final was in the testing center as it as comprehensive 15 chapters. Apparently its take home����. I would have known if I hadnt skipped the last 3 classes. Hes a nice man

His lectures are boring, but he knows his stuff and he's willing to work with you. He's very dedicated to his class and students and allows lots of room for you to succeed. Easy, easy A if you read the book and pay attention in class. I only went to class like 50 percent of the time and I passed and took a lot from it.

Honestly, Bro. Jensen is hands down my favorite professor at BYUI. This is the type of teacher that will go to the ends of the earth for his students. Overall this Psych 111 was an amazing experience! I even changed my major to Psych because of Bro. Jensen.
