I had the privilege to take Dr. Register for both A&P 1&2. He is a straight forward and cool professor. If you put forth the effort to pass, (studying and paying attention) there is no way you can fail. He is the best teacher for this subject and has in-depth knowledge because of his Doctorate Degree!

Dr. Register is probably one of the most knowledgable teachers at FSCJ. He gives you tons of opportunities to earn points towards your grade and he is very comfortable and funny in class. So long as you study before tests (especially Lab Exams), and pay attention in class, there is no way to score lower than a B.

Dr register is a great teacher. He was my influence on which campus I would attend. He answers emails and is clear in reviews and lecture. I got an A+ but you have to do your work. Attendance is mandatory for the face-to-face and he gives group projects for "extra" points. Fantastic teacher- would definitely take him again!!!

Wonderful professor! Explains everything perfectly and gives the information in a manner that you can understand. If you study the notes that he gives in class, there is no way that you can't make a good grade in his class.

I love this Professor! He was very clear and helpful. You do need to study because his tests are pretty hard, and i averaged a 83 on them... but Lab exams are where i worked my hardest. You really just need to be in class and study as hard as you can. I suggest reading the book, but that is up to you.

He is the business, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE him, his methods are amazing and he really cares, he has a way of making the material stick, I wish he taught other classes.

Best A&P professor ever. Dr. Register is very helpful and will prepare you very well for the lab/lecture exam. The class consisted of 2 lab exams, 3 lecture exams and a finale test. It is not an easy class but Dr. Register makes sure to pass it with a good grade! Take him you will not regret!! Loved the class!

I actually failed this class but it certainly had nothing to do with the teacher. He is extremely clear and concise. He seems to genuinely enjoy what he does and that helps. The class consist of lab exams, regular exams, one group project and vocab list. The hardest part of this class is finding the time to study. Work hard and you will do fine.

One of the best and most effective professors I've had thus far. His use of powerpoint was highly effective as he explained the material clearly and answered all the questions the students had. He engages the entire class by asking questions, or providing examples. He uses his great sense of humor to help concepts stick.

If you need this course for nursing/EMT YOU will know your Anatomy after having professor Register. The most concise and thorough teacher I have had thus far. He keeps the class on their toes with engaging conversations and real life incidents. I wish I had taken him for AP I. Well worth the drive downtown!!

Doctor Register is by far the best professor I have ever had. He made the class fun and interesting and I actually looked forward to attending class. If you need to take A&P 1 or 2, do not second guess taking him. He is excellent and you will know the material thoroughly upon completion of the class. TAKE HIM. HE IS FANTASTIC.

His class is not easy, but an A is definitely feasible if you pay attention to what he says and take notes what he emphasizes, because you will see them again on the quizzes/tests. The subject itself is important enough, but it is his charisma that makes the class lively and engaging. You will learn, and you won't be bored.

Dr. Register is an amazing professor and I would recommend him to anyone that is going to take AP1 or AP2. He is clear, knowledgeable, straight forward, and really wants you to succeed. It is not a easy subject but, he makes it an enjoyable class to go to twice a week. He gets an A++ in my book! Seriously take him.. :-)

So I honestly struggled through this group if it wasn't for a good study group, with some given up Saturdays I don't think I would have made it. only because I didn't have a strong science backgrounDr. Register is and amazing teacher who really loves his subject and teaches you to where the information sticks. Dr. R is a great professor and I'm looking forward to taking A&P II with him! His lectures are engaging and informative and I love that he posts powerpoints online so students can follow along in class. His tests are from his powerpoints and he tells you what to exclude when studying. Just study and you will do great!

Kyle is a good teacher, however he moves very fast during lecture so its best you print the PowerPoint's and go along. He does go over what will be on test and what will not be on the test. Ap is challenging you just have to study and pay attention. He was a good teacher overall.

Dr. Register is one the best professors I've studied under so far! He's a younger teacher so class is fun. A&P is tuff no matter who's teaching but he makes it as easy as he can while still ensuring you learn everything you need to learn to succeed in your field. He cares for his students and is reasonable when it comes to late hw.

Professor Register was an awesome teacher. he was energetic and fun. He knew the material and was ALWAYS wiling to help. He was pretty lenient on grading and genuinely tried to help each student as much as possible. he moves at a fast pace so attendance is important. I would definitely recommend him.

Dr.R is an amazing professor! He explains in a way that helps you remember the material and each lecture is engaging. Anatomy is a detailed course but he makes it easy to understand. His test are clear and he tells you what to expect on the test. Take good notes and put a star next to the things he says are important and what will be on the test.

Just finished Dr R's online AP I class & passed w an A. This class was very easy online. He is a tough grader for lab reports & DB, but its an easy A if you do it right & on time! All tests & quizzes were easy, the state comp final exam, was not & use the study guide for final exam! He is a great teacher & recommend others to take his AP classes.

I had him for A&P I online and am now taking him for A&P II. Yes, his grading is a little tough, but I'm not the most self-disciplined student and I got decent grades. The final is from the state and was hard. He luckily grades on curves. Very caring about his students. Always replied to emails. I recommend him. Finished A&P I with an A.

Dr. Register is a great instructor! I had him for both A&P1/2 and also MedTerm. His lectures are very interesting and he is available to help you if you ASK for it. He will not babysit/spoonfeed you, which I highly appreciate. He definitely prepared me for entering the nursing program, more than any other professor at FSCJ.

Great professor! He makes anatomy interesting and lectures in ways for you to understand clearly. One of the most recommended anatomy professors I know at my college. 4 interesting discussion boards, 2 lab exams (naming body parts on models), 2 lecture exams (multiple choice), 1 group presentation, 2 dissections (kidney & heart), and 5 quizzes. :)

Professor Register was one of the best teachers I had this semester, He respects his students, and doesn't mind you asking for help. Curriculum is loaded with info; but if you show up for class and pay attention to his lectures, you should have no problem passing his course. HW is usually weekly quizzes. Does not like texting in his class.

I had Dr. R for AP1 and AP2 online. Yes, these courses were a lot of work. But I learned a lot and he always gave me good feedback on my assignments. Be prepared to read a lot and work on the textbook website, but it's worth it. He was always available to answer questions on email and even skyped with him once to explain bone markings.

Dr. R is beyond fair. His syllabus is everything you need to know how to pass the class. He gave me 2 chances to fix mess ups on my lab reports and updated my grade for it. He gives very thorough feedback and responds in a timely manner. Book is important. Work is plenty. Has video lectures and power points on blackboard. Utilize Pearson.

I took the class online. There was a lot of homework, labs and quizzes, but if your not afraid to put in the work you will do well. He responds quickly to questions and gives great feedback on your work, now that I know where to look for it (lol) This was my first all online class and I learned a lot from it.

Good lecturer and he cuts through all the excess that the enormous textbook presents as need to know. Very little assigned homework. though it's Anatomy, you will work outside of class, a lot. Kind of a lot of exams, 5, seems like an exam every other week to study for, plus pop quizzes called a lab notebook, though id rather this than busy work.

I like the way he teaches, very no nonsense. Grade is lecture tests, lab practicals, final exam, and other easy point to increase your grade because the exams can be challenging. I am learning a lot in this course and will definitely take him for AP2

To start off with, the medical field is not anywhere near the area I'm pursuing (engineering). In saying that, Professor Register is amazing and hilarious. Each class, you will go over lots of material that can seem overwhelming when the test approaches. However, all of his tests are multiple choice and he drops the lowest one. Take him, amazing.

My own laziness prohibited me from receiving an A. He allows late work but no extra credit. No final, just 3 exams.

This class was dope. I studied my butt off and ended up receiving an A. I had to take A&P II online and I was skeptical at first but this professor was very attentive and held an awesome class. Very responsive to emails and I would encourage anyone to take A&P with this guy.

I took Professor Register for MedTerm and A&P. I like his teaching style its interactive and not boring like some other professors. Exams were moderately hard, def gotta study but not impossible. I feel like I retained a lot ... which is good for when I go to nursing school.

Professor Register knows his A&P! he is easily accesible if you have questions. It is a must to stay on top of your assignments, esp if you take him online. The weeks speed by.

I absolutely loved Professor Register for Medical Terminology, to the extent that I am looking for his courses when I take A&P or any other class he may teach that I may need. His course loads and assignments are not more or less than that of the average college class, and he is extremely easy going and fair.

Took this as an online course. No extra credit, lots of reading, lots of homework/discussions/labs, no quizzes, three proctored exams (no final), provides plenty of study material to pass test, timely feedback. Prepare to study if you want to pass. Great professor and definitely learned a lot from him.

I took Dr. Register for A&P 1-2 and I couldn't have been happier with my experience. Clear expectations for both semesters, excellent communication. This professor loves teaching, loves questions, and will help you meet your goals if you just communicate with him. There's no extra credit opportunities but there's also no extra credit in life so..

Dr. Register is very clear about your assignments and his expectations. If you follow directions and study you will do great in this class. Each week is usually a discussion with three responses to classmates, A voice demo (picking words from chapter to pronounce) and MMT assignment. He is a very intelligent person and very knowledgeable.

I took medical terminology online. The course was so easy; maybe it's just because it was online. The only grades came from weekly study questions (which you physically cannot score lower than 100% on), voice demos (graded on how you pronounce each word), and discussions. Otherwise, you just have a midterm, pronunciation test, & final

Prof. Register is good at what he does. I took him for both A&P 1,2 . I like his style of teaching. You have to do the work to get your grade but he gives you everything you need to pass. i highly recommend him, I would take him if he taught other subjects.

Dr. Register was AMAZING. Syllabus and instructions are clear, grading is fair and exams were curved :). Lots of work + online labs and 3 at-home labs (for online students) but if you follow his instructions you'll pass. This class will make you productive so don't be lazy, and just e-mail him with any issues. He's responsive and understanding!

Great teacher. He makes anatomy about as easy to understand as can be possibly done. Tells you every thing that will be on the lab exams which is helpful. Lectures are fun and interactive. He is a genuinely nice guy. If you give some effort there is no way you will fail this class. He is very lenient and caring. So happy I took him.

Dr. Register is the best college professor by far. He is extremely smart and interactive during the classes. He made anatomy very interesting. I took Dr. R for the summer and he was really a good Professor! and I Thought I Would do terrible in this science class BECAUSE IT IS ANATOMY. but i passed with a "B" I mean if i can do it. you can too! I'm taking him again for the spring.

Most annoying part of this class by far are the discussion board post 400 words with 400 word responses to 3 classmates . yes total of 1600 words! 5 Quizzes 25 questions , 4 simple assignments,8 hrs learning service,and a research proposal. The effort you put in is the grade you make. Just that simple. Only regret taking online hes CUTE!

Professor Register was amazing ! And , I would highly recommend for AP 2.. However, you do have to work for your grade. Theres is no extra credit , and homework somewhat heavy, but its not overwhelming. Explains quizzes and test so you know what to prepare for. Must come to class.

1st time taking an online class I felt cared about. He held a zoom meeting to touch base with everyone during the pandemic. If you do the work and follow directions you will pass. The 2 proctored exams looked exactly like the study material, so I was fully prepared. Can be a little slow at grading, but always answers emails. Taking from him again.

As someone who decided to return to school after being away for 10 years in hopes of a career change, I can say Dr. Register is a great professor. YOU HAVE TO READ. I'll say it again, YOU HAVE TO READ. The only way to be successful in this class is to read in addition to note-taking. You have to work for your grade in this course.

I took Dr. R for medical terminology this summer. I have not been in a classroom in 10 yrs and it was all online. The class itself was easy. You read the text and then do the hw which was all online (My masteryA&P) but it was games so you arent super stressed. Had discussions they werent hard. I enjoyed the class and i learned. Just study

This is the second class I have taken with him. He is amazing. This class in itself is overwhelming, but he set clear standards and answered questions. There is a verbal test you take over video call with him. He tried to make you feel more at ease, was understanding if you corrected yourself and explained what you needed work on. Take his class.

He's not terrible, we had 12 labs & we had to do a lab report for each lab. 2 exams and a final, all proctored (he watches each individual recording of each student). He wanted us to unmute and answer questions, if nobody answered he would randomly call on students. 3-5 DSM's a week.

Lots of homework. Read instructions very carefully and make sure you STUDY! Start in the beginning and dont wait til its too late. Just a few minutes of studying a day will take you a long way in this class. Its not that difficult. Theres no extra credit, or he just didnt offer it this semester, so what you get is what you get at the end.

The three major grades are the 2 lab exams and the final. While it's a lot of information to study for, you'll have fun studying it. He is very funny, gives study guides, and tells you exactly what is on the test. He goes over the test-material in class a lot. Just don't wait to study until the week before the exams, and you'll be just fine.

Dr. Register's course is definitely not for those who can't self-study. I struggled at first, but he was able to help me by telling me how I study for the lab exam. Lots of students on here say he is rude, but he is actually just straight forward. If you are struggling, then ask him for help because it worked for me. Lots of HW, but it's college.

I struggled at first taking an online course, but once I got the hang of it I actually learned a lot. The lab exams are the big ones for this class and you get a study guide for both. I liked how he gave us feedback that was personal and he even put marks on my dissection to show what I missed. It's a lot of work, but I thought it was worth it.

I took Dr. R for AP2 Online. Lots for work, but pretty easy if you do the work. Two lab exams with study guide. Final exam essay style but open book/notes. Answered emails quick and gave good corrections on labs.

I took prof Register's API class online & APII in person (for continuity) i am so glad i did! The material can be challenging, but he was more than reasonable with any honest challenges i had. You'll have to work for your grade. Stay organized & keep up with assignments you will be fine. HINT: Start studying lab exam guide the moment you get it!

Dr. Register takes his class seriously. I can honestly say that I learned the most out of all my classes with him. Proctored exams are worth a good amount of your grade, his study guides prepare you perfectly for the exams, so start studying ASAP. This is usually a medical pre-req, so if you value your career path & knowledge definitely take him!

Get ready to put on the work and you will succeed. This class is not for the weak ones, and Dr. Register is awesome. If I had a chance to be his student again that would be great.

Dr. R is great. He has a great sense of humor, which makes lectures enjoyable. He definitely loves A&P and wants to help students succeed. We went over exam material during class, which made studying easier. He gives study guides for exams, so as long as you put in the work to study, the exams aren't bad. He gives extra credit and freebies as well.

Would definitely recommend taking his class! He genuinely cares about his students and overall does an amazing job teaching Human A&P. Courseload is not too heavy and is appropriate to the amount of material covered.

Dr. Register is overall a good professor as in he makes class entertaining and seems to generally care about his students. However, this course is a LOT of content (which is not necessarily his fault) but it makes it kind of hard to grasp everything. The bone tests are very difficult unless you have photographic memory. Take in person not online.

Dr. Registers class was a lot of fun! I liked the way he did his in class lab exams. The study guides were great and he always made sure to tell us what we needed to know and what we don't need to. He is also so funny !!

This class was great! The tests are a lot of memorizing but it's not impossible if you put in the work. Hes very transparent about all assignments and nothing should be a surprise. Lectures are fun and engaging. There is a lot of content here as but he breaks it up nicely and will help you where you need. And he is funny!

There is homework due each week, with occasional discussions and labs due too. Exams 1 and 2 are proctored, and the final exam is proctored, too. I passed the class. I should have studied more for the exams, but that was my fault. He gives you study guides to help with each exam. If you put in the work and study, you can pass the class.

A&P 2 is not an easy class, but Dr.Register teaches it so well. He explains concepts clearly, connects material to real clinical situations, and keeps lectures engaging. Expectations are clear (and high) but if you put in the effort, you'll be fine. If you're struggling just ask him for help. His class will prepare you for your future in healthcare
