I really thought this class was good. She makes the subjects interesting. It is kind of easy, but at the same time I learned a lot. (and I'm not right out of high school like the other guy commented.)

Sister Roberts is a good teacher. Her class is run so as to not be super labor intensive, and I admit it was quite easy. I am one who hates to be patronized by easy classes, but I found the way she ran it to be interesting and informative. If the tests and assignments were easy, so much the better.

This class was well worth it for me. She doesn't give much busy work, you actually have the time to read and apply what you learn to your life without the constant babysitting by the professors I see a lot at BYUI. All in ALl one of the best teachers there becasue of her teaching style and layed-backness.

I have taken every one of Sister Robert's classes because she is excellent! Her Adult Development class has been more difficult than her others, but she still gets the content down. She is knowledgable and kind toward the students. I wish she taught more classes! The major downside is she cannot help outside of class. Study up!

OFF DA CHARTS. Sister Roberts throws down and if you hate her class YOU suck. She teaches with clarity and has genuine interest in students well being. Look out, she has student do a project that requires frequent meetings and 5 interviews. Fun project and will help you learn if you put time and effort into it.

Sis. Roberts is a great teacher. I loved how she doesn't give out busy work for this class. She gives relevant notes, often times a study guide, and the big projects that we do have are actually really interesting and applicable. She really makes this class fun. I recommend taking any class.

TAKE HER! Pretty easy to get an "a," but you have to do your part. She's a great teacher and lecturer- she made sure to keep our interest and class notes were always helpful and relevant to the tests. I learned a LOT and loved her class! =] She's awesome!

Sister Roberts is awesome! I have had every teacher in the psychology department and she is definitely one of the best. She covers everything that will be on the exams, there are never any surprises. If you attend class and do the homework, it's not difficult to get an A.

I loved this class. There were some projects and one presentation you do on class but its not too hard. Her class was fun and I was excited to go to class. Take her!

Sis. Roberts is....decent. Her class is very straightforward, her tests aren't horrible if you study hard, assignments weekly, and a group project at the end. She requires lots of participation which was kind of annoying, and the class kind of dragged on. So wasn't bad, but wasn't that great either.

I LOVE Sister Roberts! Her lectures were so helpful. I like how she would write an outline on the board while lecturing. The reason I rated her as "easy" was because if you go to class, take notes, and study hard, you WILL get an A. The only reason you wouldnt is if you weren't studying as hard as you should.

Roberts teaches lecture style and writes important things on the board. Tests are based on the text book and items covered in class. Workload is very manageable. Tests are a little more difficult than I would have liked, but overall it is an interesting class.

I read these reviews before I took her class and I was so worried about the "hard tests," but I got A's on every single one. All you have to do is study the notes she writes word for word on the board and the PQ's and you're golden! Assignments are super manageable. She grades a little tough on participation so make sure you comment in class.

Take this class if you can! Sister Roberts is an awesome! There are two papers (one is 20 pages). 5 tests w 75 questions. HW assignments before each chapter. A 12-18 minute presentation. Its seems like a lot but is very doable. Go to class, participate, and study. If you try you will do well. I got an A on each test and did not always study much.

One of the best professors I have ever had. I really love psychology and everything that we learn in her class. I could apply it to my own life in so many ways. She teaches very well and cares about each of her students. She encourages you to e-mail her with any question, and she replies propmtly- even with some answers to the tests and assignments

She is very clear about what material she will be testing on (because there is a lot of material that you cover in this class). I seriously loved this class!

This class is very well structured. Everyone says her tests are tough, and they are - if you don't do the reading. But if you do the reading, show up to class, and take notes, you'll be fine. The chapters are long, but the textbook isn't too bad to get through - just time-consuming. In class, pay attention to what she says!

I took PSYCH 201 Online. The class is stacked w/ assignments. The textbook chapt. are long. Give yourself time to read thru them. Sis Roberts gives a study guide for the exam but the questions are vague. Study everything about those questions. Sis Roberts was great. I misread the exam times and didn't end up taking my test. She reopened it for me!

During the first week, class seemed terrifying. Do not panic, Sister Roberts is awesome and she's super nice. Participating during lectures is WAY helpful to your grade. Roberts is super helpful and caring about students.

She knows what she's teaching and she knows how to hold the class' attention. It's the perfect atmosphere to learn the actual most about the subject matter. Even so, the tests are worth a lot of points and quite hard. If you make the effort to pay attention during class and to study, you shouldn't fail, if nothing else. All in all, she's fantastic.

Sister Roberts is a phenomenal professor! Yes, she expects you to do all the readings, PQ-s, etc. but you learn so much from them and they really prepare you for the exams. My fave part about her classes is that she implements a huge variety of teaching methods to help everyone learn the way that's best for them.

Such an amazing woman. Very understanding, willing to work with you. She wants you to succeed, and is more than fair when grading. The class was long, 1.5 hours, but half way through she made us stand up and/or talk to others. That really helped to keep us engaged in the class. I highly recommend her. She knows how to be a good teacher.

She is probably the best teacher I have had my whole life! And my Mom was one of my teachers (Sorry Mom)! I almost never take notes in class because it doesn't feel productive, but she takes notes with you so you know exactly what to write and you aren't rushed. I've learned more from the one semester in her class than the 3 years of other classes.

Sister Roberts is AMAZING! She cares about all of her students and is super clear on what she expects from you. She prepares you well for all of her exams and grades things quickly! You do have a 20 page paper, presentation and prep questions to turn in before a new chapter, but they're easy and you'll basically get an A! 10/10 would recommend!!

I'm a Senior & Sis. Roberts is my favorite Professor ever. It was easy for me to be attentive & engaged in class. Her examples & teaching style helped me remember the content. Taking notes in class & doing the PQ's (HW) set you up to get A's on the tests; just study. The presentation & big assignments take a little time, but aren't graded harshly.

Easy class. Show up to class and take notes. Don't skip any assignments. They are easy A's. The paper you have to write is long and time consuming but is pretty easy. Do a decent job and you'll probably get an A. Study notes and pq's before the test and you'll get an A every test. Don't read the book. Waste of time. Just answer the pq's.

I genuinely think Sis Roberts is one of my fav teachers i have ever had. She lives what she teaches and teaches it so well and concisely. PSYCH 201 is one of the most informative and enjoyable classes I have ever had.

I LOVE sister roberts, she is easily one of the best teachers I have ever had. She is passionate about what she teaches and it is contagious. She teaches very clearly and simply, and sets you up to succeed. Her tests are lengthy and can be hard, but when you put in your own time outside of class, there is no reason you shouldn't pass.

Psych 201 is a difficult course, but its life applicable. Tests require diligent studying but are doable. Sister Roberts is sincere, helpful, funny, and real. She lectures, but you have partners and groups for discussing. Class is note taking, demonstrations, videos, presentations (1 per student), guest speakers, and unit homework assignments.

Sis. Roberts is AMAZING. Truly a phenomenal teacher. She knows her stuff, and knows how to convey crucial information to students. I learned SO much in this class, and don't want it to end! Yes, it's hard, but definitely worth it. Write down everything she writes down and emphasizes. Taking her class is a MUST. Honestly one of the best professors.

Sis Roberts is the BEST!!! Seriously, my favorite class I have ever taken on campus. Tests are based on the PQ's and your notes in class. TAKE GOOD NOTES! Show up to class! It is totally worth it. Lots of EC opportunities, but don't be late on hw! STUDY FOR THE TESTS! She is extremely knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure to learn from.

She is easy when it comes to little brain busting thinking (fluid thinking) but is hard with the amount of time you need to put in reviewing your notes which are exactly for the test questions. Being on the lower end of IQ as a byui student it took be about 7 hours of note studying for each exam (5 total) to average B's. Hard but def passable.

Sis Roberts is the most engaging professor I have every had. Her class is always interesting and she finds ways to make the material fun. She does everything that she can to prepare you for the test. Most of the test is off of notes in class, so DON'T miss class. It's a fair amount of work, but I never felt overwhelmed.

Have small assignments due from the book most classes but they are easy. She guides you through exactly what you need to write for notes and the tests are based off the notes. She uses a lot of examples to help you understand the content. She talks you through everything. Some of the classes seem to drag but she does her best to cover the material.

Sister Roberts is my favorite professor so far! She helps give examples of the things we learned that were easy to remember on tests. I wish I could take another class from her! She is a life changing professor, so inspirational, and really cared about me personally. Also the stuff we learned was stuff I'll actually use in life!

I love this teacher! She gives you all the information you need in class (so don't skip!) and any work you have is connected with the tests. Just study your notes from class and your preclass questions and show up and you will succeed.

Sister Roberts is a great teacher. She knows the material inside and out which makes it interesting to listen to. She explains things very clearly and loves taking questions. There are mostly big papers in this class and a couple of quizzes. You also talk with your classmates a lot. Little tough class, but she has been one of my favorite teachers.

This class was tough but I learned a lot from Sister Roberts! I highly recommend meeting with a tutor weekly, it was a HUGE help to me. Make sure to participate and do all your work thoroughly and you'll be fine. It's not as hard or as daunting as it may seem.

There is a ton of information in this course and shes does fantastic job of explaining helping to understand. She is very clear about how to do well in her class and what the criteria of things are. Shes also very enthusiastic about the content and it transfers into the students.

I really enjoyed this class and her as a teacher! She is super nice and willing to work with you on things. The only reason I got C- in the class is because it is pretty test heavy and I don't do well at taking test. The class discussions are always super insightful and easy to follow.

This class taught me so many important life lessons that I will use for the rest of my life. If you do the work and take good notes in class, you will do great in the class. I highly recommend Sister Roberts over any other teacher, online or in person, on campus.

Sister Roberts honestly took a bit to get used to; I didn't like her at the beginning of the semester, but by the end, I really enjoyed her class and decided I would take another from her if I could. There is a ton of reading and tests, so be prepared for that. But it balanced out. Definitely go to the tutoring center, take the online quizzes, etc

If you want to be a good parent, take this class. Sister Roberts care more about a student's development of life skills than getting a good grade. She is not afraid to teach things that are correct and unpopular in today's world. She is very educated in her field. Not an easy class, but very worth it if you are interested in actually learning.

I love sister Roberts. Come to her class ready to learn and have an open mind and it will be entertaining, insightful and extremely applicable. She is also hilarious and seriously so kind. Listen attentively, take detailed notes, and review often for an A. & meet with her outside of class for extra credit, she really does care about her students!

Entertaining, heavy, and insightful lectures! Lots of reading, not enough time to read all the chapters. Chapter assignments (PQ's) need to be perfect based on niche information. The online version could make searching for terms easier and save time. Start your final paper early, take notes, and this class will be engaging and rewarding!

Don't get me wrong, she's a great professor and I would take her again, but I hated her tests. She tells you not to read the textbook because she'll tell you what to study, but then there were always questions on the tests of things we never went over. Aside from that, I loved the way she taught! I wish everyone taught like her.

The class has one short paper that is about 6 pages and another paper that is a minimum of 20 pages if you want an A. It's not too bad if you write it as the semester goes. Sister Roberts is good at making class content relevant and engaging.

Qualitatively speaking, I think she is the best professor I have taken in my 120 credits. I am just taking this class for prereqs for PT, but I love learning in her class. The only reason you would struggle in her class is if you don't go to class, do the homework, or take notes. As long as you do those, you should be more than fine.

This is a difficult class, but it also so interesting! The lectures are amazing! The tests are hard but do your homework, go to tutoring, and memorize. Memorization is the majority of the test. She is really kind and loves questions and discussion. Start on projects early and make sure to ask questions when you are confused!

Best Psych teacher in the school. Prepares you for tests, gives examples of theories we are learning about. Very caring and just a great teacher. Tests are worth a lot of points but you are always prepared for them if you pay attention in class and go to the tutors.

Sister Roberts has been teaching this psychology class for a decade so she knows the material inside and out. The class is set up like any other psychology class with the exception of a 25 page paper at the end of the course. There are 5 unit tests and some study guides to fill out.

Sister Roberts knows what she is teaching and you can tell!! Tests are harder so go to tutoring to help you prepare for them. There is a large paper due at the end of the semester but she runs through the criteria in the first couple of days of class to lay it out. DON'T PROCRASTINATE IT! You learn a lot in this class but it is worth it.

She is a really great teacher. The final project is big, so when she first introduces it, start working on it! Don't procrastinate! She is very caring and wants to help you succed. When studying for the tests, study the pq's go to the tutors, take the pactice quizzes online, and reread your notes. I would defenitly reccomend this class!

Sister Roberts is very passionate and loves what she teaches. She uses examples in her teaching. Anything she writes down on the whiteboard you should write down. Do the practice tests on the tutoring center website and also go to the tutors! Sister Roberts is always willing to help!

Sister Roberts is a really good teacher, but she asks for a lot. If you want to take a fun, easy class, don't take it from her. You will learn a lot, but you have to put in A LOT of work in order to get a C- in her class. I also went to tutoring twice a week just to try and pass her class.
