This class would be great for someone who is not very familiar with biology. She explains everything in detail. I enjoyed her class very much.

I think she is a great teacher. I learned so much in her class it is pathetic. I would take another class with her without even thinking about it. I do recommend her for Biology.

Dr. Nimri does have a thick accent, so sometimes it is tough to understand her. she is a very knowledgeable, sweet lady who will really try to help you succeed if you do well.

She makes very difficult subject matter easier to understand. Very smart teacher,but explains in simple terms.Definitly recommend. Go to every class. Difficult if you miss lectures.

You will get used to her accent! I couldn't understand her for a wk but I barely noticed by the end of the semester. She is VERY thourough and I found that just by really paying attention in class i pulled a high A out of the class. She is an excellent teacher. I have retained 90% of what was taught. Great for Biology.

I took her for the summer term, and she printed out all the notes for the entire class. to take notes all you had to do was underline/highlight/write in margin, and to study all you had to do was glance over the highlighted regions in the notes. the tests were very easily worded, and you could determine 2 false answers right off the bat.

I took this class over summer and she gave us all the material we needed, including notes. Pay attention to class discussions, she gets angry easily if you don't know something because you weren't paying attention. I studied like crazy and this class was difficult for me.

Im currently in her class and if you read the notes and study the homework sheets and use the disk, you'll do fine. She is willing to work with you and very kind. Just be considerate, study hard and take it serious. She'll work with you as long as you put the effort.

She is the epitome of a GREAT teacher. Extremely helpful, she wants you to pass the class and get an A. She makes the tests based around her lectures and notes which does make the tests easier. She structures the tests to be split in half so you won't have 4 or 5 chapters on one, as other teachers do. Overall, one of the BEST teachers I've ever had

i love this teacher! i wish that she taught a&p as well as micro. she is very helpful and really cares about her students. Her accent is something to get use to at first, but she is very good at explaining things. She gives review sheets for both lecture tests and lab quizes/practicals. i definately recommend her!

I will not say this was an easy class at all. Sometimes I did all nighters studying for her tests, but the test come right from the chapters in the book! Also she gives the notes for the chapters which are very helpful! She gives many examples and trys her hardest to be very clear with the material. I wish she would teach bio 2!!

By far the best professor I've ever had. She is difficult, but if you pay attention to the powerpoint slides and study you'll be fine. She doesn't like smart-***es. If you are one, don't be...she won't help you out. Don't ask a lot of questions, it does frustrate her in lecture, ask after class. Be nice to her, she will be more helpful to you.

Such a sweet lady, very helpful and tries to keep the class interested when lecturing. The tests were fairly easy, and she really tries to make sure you understand the labs. You still have to study, but you can pass. Take her!

Teachers can make or break a class, Mrs. Nimri made a class. She is a wonderful teacher, who cares a lot about her students. She explains things very well, and simplifies things. She wants everyone to do well, and tries very hard to make sure that all students understand the material. I am taking A&P with her.

Great prof., very nice and helpful. Teaches from powerpoints, but takes the time to show you all parts on lab models. Gives lab lists - you know exactly what's on the tests. Willing to spend extra time in the lab with you. Very nice, would have loved to take A&P 2 with her as well, but she doesn't teach it.

LOVE HER!!!! She always test straight from her power points and doesn't try and trick you. Uses funny examples to help you remember and is flexibile if an emergency happens. Def take her.

Prof. Nimri is very available and has an extensive science background, not necessarily in this area, but I feel that she makes up for that by her enthusiasm for the topic. She puts a lot of effort into making the class interesting. Review her power points and study hard to earn an "A".

Mrs.Nimri is just such an amazing teacher. She really cares for students and wants them to learn. If you study, you will pass the class...like she says it's like learning another language, so just practice! Not only a great teacher, but one of good character. She cares about her students understanding the subject. You will get out of the class what you, yourself, puts into it. I'm taking A&P now and am very thankful for the previous class I took with her. Did I mention it was a summer class? Tough, but thorough!

She is amazing. i was scared half to death to take Bio because i barely took any science in high school and never tried. I got an easy A in this class. she wants you to do good. and she gives you everything you need to suceed. you should use mastering bio. shes a must take. im taking her for a&p1.

Biology is a tough subject, there is a lot of material to learn but with a helpful teacher like Nimri, she thoroughly goes over the powerpoint notes and ALWAYS makes time for her students if they are having trouble with a subject.

Great teacher! Really explains everything clearly and makes it interesting with goofy stories. Her tests are tough but just study whats in your book and her powerpoints! This isn't an easy class but she does her part. Wished she taught a&p 2.

This is the best teacher I've had at SSC. I also took her for BSC1010 and that class was great as well. She clearly explains what is expected and she's always willing to help if you don't understand the material. Not an easy A, you definitely need to study, but it's totally worth it. Wish she taught more courses.

Gives extra credit homework assignments. She uses questions from the extra credit on the exam a lot, so their pretty much study guides that give you extra credit. Don't buy the book in my opinion, didn't buy it and most people didn't open it.

She is super funny. Very docile, not too strict. Bio in itself is a hard class, and she is said to be the easiest teacher. Gives extra credit points for chapter questions. 10 points for attendance. Goes over EVERYTHING multiple times, she really wants her students to grasp the work.

One of the better prof. she explains in detail, uses life experiences to help you remember. Sweet woman.. great teacher.

Wonderful Professor! She expects her students to work hard but she is always happy to help if there is anything you don't understand. She is clear about what she expects and explains the material very well. Her tests are challenging but fair and certainly doable with studying. Gen Bio 1 is a hard class in general. So much material which means you have to study every day. She is so sweet and really takes her time when lecturing and reviewing labs.

Nimri is an amazing professor! I have had trouble in my sciences and she has made this class so enjoyable for me! She explains everything in such detail and gives you tons of analogies for remembering info for lab purposes and the exams. If you study what she tells you, you will be fine. She is such a sweet person! love her. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

biology is not an easy class. it requires a lot of attention but nimri is THE BEST professor for the class. I was terrified and didn't expect to get a good grade. she lets you drop 2 lowest scores and her tests are STRAIGHT from her powerpoints. TAKE HER

Dr.Nimri is an amazing professor! I took Bio I and A&P I with her I am very glad I did. Bio I is not easy class but if you attend class & pay attention and simply DO the HW sincerely you will be well prepared for tests. Her ppts are excellent BUT for Bio I you need to read the chapter before class. For A&P I the ppts are more useful.

Dr. Nimri is the kindest teacher I have ever had. She truly cares about her student's success and is willing to work with you every step of the way. To start I found her lectures very boring, and uninteresting, she basically just reads through the power points she has prepared and the material can be very dry. A&P I is a much harder class than Gen Bio. I took Dr. Nimri for both and found her biology class to be much more interesting and easy to follow. She reads off the ppts and goes over everything once. Grades are based mostly on tests and lab practicals. She is always more than willing to help if you need it, though.

Love her! Took her for Gen Bio and AP1. She doesn't teach AP2, otherwise I would take her for that too. She is not an easy A. You definitely have to work for it, but it's doable if you make the effort! Dr. Nimri is very knowledgeable and knows her stuff. She really cares about her students and takes it personally if they do not do well.

Biology was a very tough subject for me, there is a lot of extra credit offered, & she is always willing to help, take advantage of her office hours, attend all mock lab practicals, and make a friend, and start a study group. QuizExam questions come from power points, mastering biology, & textbook. Great Prof. taking her this semester for A&P 1

Very sweet lady who really cares about how well her students learn and perform. She uses a lot of analogies and applies stories. She offers some extra credit, and homework is easy but long. You have to study, no way around that; but if you do an A is very doable. Accent is a little tough. She doesn't teach AP2. Dr. Nimri is an excellent professor.

Dr. Nimri is a professor that doesn't cut slack for students who don't try. She knows what she is teaching and is very helpful when you are stuck. If you do the homework she assigns you for each upcoming test you will pass the tests. This class is a hard class so not reading the material, not doing the homework, etc you won't pass.

any anatomy class is tough but she tries to make it as easy as possible for her students with keeping the level of difficulty. if you don't understand something, ask and she will help clarify. 4 exams, 3 practical and we had 2 quizzes in there this semester. Super sweet lady and would definitely take her again if she taught A&P 2

Dr. Nimri has been awesome all semester. If you're taking this class, it's most likely because you're actually going to use this material in whatever field you choose, so she's very specific and helps you understand entire concepts. If you pay attention, she repeats the main test topics throughout lectures so studying isn't bad if you just listen

Nimri cares very much about her students and wants them to do well. That being said, you have to meet her halfway. A lot of students that complained about her didn't show up for class and admitted they rarely study. This is not easy material, but Nimri does a great job teaching. Extra credit available on exams.

Very sarcastic, which i like and shes really passionate about teaching. The lectures last the entire class period which can be difficult to sit through but she really goes through everything in detail. Loved her creative analogies and the repition because it really helped me understand the topics. Would take her again!

Professor Nimri cares about her students and wants everyone to do well in the class. She gets upset if she sees most students struggling to pass the tests or understand the material and feels it is her fault. She is very trusting or was until a student in my class was cheating on the lab practical scrolling through pictures on her phone.

I was so scared to take AP1 but i got by with an 84!! Nimri is an excellent teacher. As long as you pay attention and study her outlines. Lets you take quizzes in groups! I took her for a crash course and was surprised i came out with such a good grade!

This class is extremely textbook heavy. As long as you read the textbook as recommended and pay attention to the PowerPoint lectures, youll do fine.
