His tests are the sample questions out of the book with the numbers changed (sometimes). He "teaches" by doing those sample problems in class. His lectures consist primarily of stories about women he's known with a problem or two thrown in. The only way to do well on his tests is to memorize the problems & their steps.

Theriot is the perfect professor for someone just trying to take out their physical science requirement for the university core. Wouldn't take again

Took the 8:00 Tuesday/Thursday class. Theriot's teaching style is accurately described over the rest of the comments I've read. I actually used RMP to find him, but I wish I hadn't chosen him in the first place. He flirted with me when I went to turn in an essay during his office hours, which was the last straw in my final decision to drop.

Wouldn't take again

This is the easiest class ever! You NEVER have to show up for class. Easy A! You have an exam every two weeks (7 total + optional final). The exam questions come straight from the book (20-25 questions). All the exams are on Quizlet.... so dont buy the book unless you have extra $ to spare. Lectures are super boring, I did other class homework.
