She is a pretty good professor. Her class is a little difficult. The only thing about it I really didn't like was the fact she makes you write papers and do group work in class. Mostly teaches Saturday morning.

She is a nice lady, who always smiles and tries to keep you awaike during the Saturday lecture class. Tests are pretty hard, but if you read chapters and make some notes before tests,you get A/B. Tests are open book, and she is very helpful during the last 15 minutes of the tests(hints and answers).

I took her online ECO201 class during Spring 07 semester. She gives chapter quizzes that may be a little difficult, but by doing this you will definitely read the text. The final was pretty easy that is open book, open notes.

The Professor is great! Easy to talk to, always there to help her students and makes a sometimes difficult subject to learn interesting through conversation and clear explanations. I have a gift when it comes to eco so I got a B without trying. I did study a bit for some quizzes but the hw is hard and really teaches you the material. So do the hw and attend class

give a lot extra credits, if you go to class, you will earn those credits easily. and those credits are adding on your test. Have online homework every week , takes about1-2 hour to finish. Talk about current events at beginning of the class, it is interesting. A little bit accent, but get to used to it at the first class. relax&fun class.

You can BOMB your tests and still get a B-B+ average with the amount of extra credits she gives.. Always show up to class so you can take advantage of the extra credit opportunities! She is a good professor, as long as you do the online homework and show up to 85% of the classes you should do fine. On tests she lets you use note cards. She gives alot of extra credit opportunities, but you have to be in class. The book is not really necessary, but you could also use it Eco-202 so i would advise investing in it.

I took the class online. This class is a bit different if you take it online. You have to read a lot but is not that hard. The exams are tricky, but just do your reading, and you'll be ok. She is a fair grader so, as long as you put some effort into the class, you will pass.

I found her tests to be slightly difficult, but didn't get anything less than a B on them with minimal studying involved. She's very big on extra credit quizzes, so show up to class for those. The book is only necessary for the online code (homework is on there), as powerpoints are posted online. She's very sweet and has a good sense of humor.

I took this class online, and found it to be pretty easy. The subject matter is sort of difficult, but the online program for the homework and tests has all of the answers online if you look hard enough. Had to do a test and some homework every two weeks, as well as two short essays. I'm not studying business so taking this online made it easier.

She is one of the best professors I've had so far. Econ itself is tricky, but she offers tons of ways to help, like PP, videos, etc. She gives 2 papers, which are super easy to do. The homework is done online, so you can go ahead and do as much as you can in a day and get ahead. She also drops the lowest test grade. There's no excuse to get an A.

She's a GREAT professor. I had her previously for ECO 1. So I was aware of her teaching style. Allot of extra credit, it's easy to rack up points, you can move you up a grade. The homework are the case studies, you get over a week to do them so it's not too much. Review given prior to test. She post notes , PP slides & vocab on Campus Cruiser.

I had a very wonderful time in her Eco 201 class! She is a very nice lady who is always there to help. She gives you so many extra credit quizzes and other opportunities! Don't miss class. The class was difficult, but she gives out extra credit every class which helps A TON. Her tests are hard and include a lot of critical thinking. The homework is easy and can really boost your grade up. Even though i struggled, she gives so many opportunities to help you pass that it's nearly impossible to fail if you at least show up.

A true gem. She went above and beyond to help me pass this course. I took her as an online class for ECO 201 and 202 and I would do it all over again. She has a clear cut syllabus, and responds to emails almost immediately. Her classes fill up fast, so if you have the opportunity to take her, DO IT.

Professor Lakshimi has a very clear grading criteria. She gives plenty of time to get the assignments completed and they are pretty simple, you just have to read the book. There is a quiz with each chapter(s) assigned weekly, but they are simple. She is also very responsive to emails.

There will be a lot of homework, readings from the book, quizzes, and tests - BUT this all will help you understand the material better. Very quick with email responses, and genuinely cares about the students! Do all of the work, and you're guaranteed an excellent grade & further knowledge on the subject. Very good professor. I had her for an online economics class in the winter and she emails everyone a schedule weekly of whats due that week. Everything was due on sunday's at 11:59 PM. There is homework for every chapter and then a test. We didn't have a final it was three tests on certain chapters. Overall, I do recommend taking her.

She made Economics easy to understand and was always accessible outside of class if I needed help. If you have the chance to, take her 100%. She cares about her students, just do the work, and dedicate time to her class, and you will pass. Having her as a professor was a privilege, her lectures were very knowledgeable and organized, and she also made me more confident as a student, which is something I really struggled with.

Very monotoned voice so it wasnt the perfect 8 am class i shouldve taken. however, the material is very easy, gives a lot of extra credit points!!!! Took and weeks winter course and was nervous at first, but she made the class enjoyable, yet interesting. Very good feedback and available outside of class. Homework on Cengage and a test every week, but to be expected with a 5 week course. Learned alot and would definitely take this class again. This is a must take class for Econ 202.

I was terrified about the ECO class. I chose this professor based on the feedback. Let me tell you. She is the best. ECO is not an easy class, but Prof. Nagarajan-Iyer makes it engaging. Tests are not easy, you should study for them and read the slides she provides. She gives LOADS of extra credits and adds them to the tests. Use this opportunity!

She is a lovely professor and dropped the six lowest homework scores. In addition, she gives many extra credit opportunities. It is an easy class but be ready for a lot of homework. I waited one semester to take her class, and it was worth waiting.

The class was not difficult but the classes were kinda boring. Regardless, she provides plenty of extra credit opportunities and is willing to help if you are falling behind. One thing to be aware of is class participation which makes up 20% of your final grade; as long as you go to class and answer some questions you'll be in the clear.

Honestly, she is my favorite professor, very flexible as long as you communicate with her, she is very understanding and genuinely goes out of her way to help students succeed, you can tell that she loves what she does. It is a very difficult class but she works very hard to make sure you understand it. I would most definitely recommend her class.

Professor Lakshmi really cares about her students. There was not really any homework(2-3) and there was one long semester project. There were no tests just a final and a midterm and you were allowed to use a study guide. She really wants her students to do well. She was very understanding. I def recommend taking any of her classes if you can!

I have never seen a more caring Professor. She will give extra credit at every opportunity. She will go the extra mile to make sure you are well acclimated and understand the material. Her lectures aren't the most fun, but that is not always a bad thing. She will work with you, but you have to work with her and don't take advantage of her kindness.

She is a great professor, but the assignment was average and difficult. There are four tests and a final exam, and she use the lockdown browser with a camera detection for the test, not the final. She allowed us to use the study guide. She gave you extra credits for two assignments for the test. Recommended This professor

Absolutely loved Eco 201 Honors! I took AP Macroeconomics in high school but did not take the exam since my teacher wasn't the best. However, Professor Nagarajan-Iyer truly explained everything thoroughly, so I was able to truly grasp macroeconomics. There was no final and plenty of opportunities for extra credit. Definitely take 1 of her classes!

prof iyer is one of the best professors ive ever had! she is so kind and genuine, as well as easy to talk to. she will work with you. she gives great feedback and helped me a lot with this course. I took the honors section, and the work was intimidating at first but shes such a great teacher and helped our class to succeed.

I was in both, her Marketing and Econ 1 classes, and they were both very easy under her control! She actually cares about you and doesn't just focus on grades (has a clear system, reminds you about due dates/tests).
