Best teacher EVER!!!

is an amazing teacher!He Saitram really cares about his students and wants ALL his students to do well. Study and ask questions and complete homework assigments. The book is in the library, so take advantage. I aced the final because of him. He gives a lot of exams and he reviews all questions on exam. You must pass final in order to pass class.

Saitram is fun and a chill teacher. If you ever need to talk to him, he will be there with the best advice. His teaching methods are fun and he will make you work hard but it will all be worth it.

Math is my worst subject. I can't emphasize how awesome this prof. is. He's very helpful & always encouraged his students. There's never a dull day. I always waited for the day when we'd reach a lesson that I'd get a mental block, but it never came. Take his class, no idea what grade I'll get but know that my exams ranged from 80-90. Enough said.

Professor keeps it very real with you, he doesn't sugarcoat anything. He's very clear & willing to help and will tell you u only way to pass is to practice. Real island teacher would recommend him :-)

Was not excited about taking this class to begin with. However once I settled into the room, he approached the class in a very realistic way, and promised to do his best to help us get out of there. Very clear about the material, creates a comfortable atmosphere, not a class you are going to dread going to.

I just took him this past semester for m1 Math is definitely my weak point I always hated math I can't say how grateful I am that I had him as my professor he is the most patient professor I had if I didn't understand something he would go over it 10 times without getting frustrated I would recommend taking him 100 percent!! He's the best!!!

He is extremely thorough and simplifies his explanation. Gives great tips on how to easily solve equations and encourages students to keep a reference guide. Very down to earth and humorous. Exams are required but he reviews them with you afterwards. Would take him again.

Prof. Saitram's tips very helpful! There for you,explains " forty million times" if u have a question! Don't skip any of his classes u would miss a lot. Professor Lalbatchan is absolutely amazing!!! Thanks to his great teachings skills, I am able to walk down the isle to graduation this semester. If you are struggling in math I suggest you take this professor. He actually cares about his students and whether or not they pass!!! He is educational and fundamental and I would highly recommend.

He makes things clear and easy and if or you're more comfortable doing the math in a different way as long as you understand it he's cool with it, he's very helpful willing to stay after class to help you out . He's a cool guy too not to strict and not too lenient. (I didn't use the text book cuz i understood it quickly but it is necessary )

Professor Lal is the best Math professor i ever had, if you are strugling with math, i would suggest to take him. I've been strugling with math for over 12 years and i used to study in another coutry, so you understand that english is my second language. He clearly and neatly explains. And is always there for you. Now i feel really strong at it.

He's old school,no non-sense but very approachable and personable as a professor,overall a very nice guy. His tests aren't hard,he gives clear reviews and he wholeheartedly wants you to pass. But you have to show up for class and pull your own weight outside the classroom by doing the work. Do that and you'll be alright. Lazy ppl are doomed.

This professor is amazing. I am confident I will pass my final, because I understand math more now than ever before. I wish I could take him for all my math classes. Take your time ask questions if your confused, and don't skip class. Participate, and by that I mean after he explains ask him to show you again you will benefit from it.

Professor LAL is amazing. I took his class for M2 as I had recently failed m2 before. He makes you understand every problem completely and you'd be sur prided how quickly you pick up. Learn instantly see yourself improving. I'd definitely take him again for any math class

This professor is very easy to talk to. He makes you feel relax in the class. He is available after class to assist one on with any problem you have. He allows you to bring math problems that you have to the class and he will work it for eveyone to learn from it.

Before I started this course I absolutely despised math and thanks to this professor I'm happy to say math became so fluent to me. He is a great professor and I highly recommend him to whoever doesn't kno what the hell they are doing when it comes to math. I can honestly say with out him I would be totally lost on the exam and in math period!

I don't really struggle in math but he was very good with his explanations. Tries to make everything as simple as possible for struggling students. Stays on a topic for as long as needed until everybody is on the same page. I recommend people take his class if they are struggling in math. Great test prep.

this professor was great. I wish he was teaching M2 this winter. i struggled all my life with math and even though i have yet to take the M1 test I know I will pass. hes a lot of fun, knows how to make the class fun, and shows math short cuts, like short division, and great test taking strategies. He lets you go a few mins early too :)

At first didn't like him, because he did a lot of talking about attendance, but when we start doing the review for the test the class became vey interesting.

Will go over anything as many times as needed/ wanted. He's a great teacher, and wants his students to learn and pass. Also gives test taking tips and tries to give shorter/ easier options in solving problems. His test are very hard, but that's also because he is preparing you for the final exam.

Professor Saitram preaches that he will do everything in his power to help you pass, and he will do just that. I'm writing this review just minutes after taking the final exam and I am able to say without any doubt that I passed that exam and its all thanks to Professor Saitram ability to help prepare me for this exam. This was my first m1 class and I passed the m1 test without a problem because this teacher was extremely clear and helpful with any questions I had. He made the class fun by not forcing you to stick your head in a book and do problems but by doing it together and helping each other. If I was able to take him again I would and I deff recommend him !

This was the first time i took M 100 I registered once for M100 A prior semester but dropped it. Lal is really good he builds your confidence and teaches you HOW TO SOLVE PROBLEMS, ENHANCING YOUR THINKING SKILLS. It pays off coming to his class every day you have him b/c your definitely learning every time you come to his class.

He is very good at prep and making sure students know what is going on. He stressed how important our attitudes towards math was before going in to any lesson or exams. For a student who usually struggles with math like me, I would definitely recommend professor Saitram. I took Saitram once and passed the M2 exam the first time I took it

Out of all my math teachers I had he is hands down the best. He makes the material understandable. I had taken this course twice before I had him an to be honest no other teacher explains it as well as him I personally don't like math and was never a good math student but after his course I find myself enjoying math.

From day one Prof. Saitram made me feel confident that could get an A in his class. Math is not my strong suit, but I knew if I had a patient, devoted teacher I could excell. Very cool Professor. Here's the deal, no HW, no text, but you had better show up to class actually ready to learn. He's a funny man, so the class isn't boring, and I did it over the Winter, so I imagine it must be much easier in a reg session. He's also good if you start off weak, as long as he sees real effort, your sure to pass.

He's a great professor. He makes class interesting and really cares about his students. He does everything he can to help you learn. Attendance is mandatory and is essential for passing the class. I came into the class not knowing if I would be able to pass the math assessment test, but I left confident that I will.

It is the first time I understand algebra. It feels like a miracle to me. Moreover, it is the first time I like it so much. I dont feel like it is 100% that I will get 98% on my final test, but I am pretty sure I will pass my test. Professor is great, because he suggests a few solutions. It feels like he really cares how will you do on your test.

Don't let the sarcastic remarks and easy going attitude fool you. This course is crammed into 4 short weeks with a lot of information to retain; but if you pull your weight, listen, pay attention and show up for class you will pass hands down. Hands down one of the best math Professor's I've taken. He breaks down the problem, reviews topic the next day, stays after class to help & ONE thing that really made me pass the Compass exam was by him ALWAYS stating "I see people writing & not paying attention on how to solve the problem". By that, I understood the topics.I highly recommend him.

Attendance is important, as well as paying attention the class moves fast. Especially if its a accelerate winter course. He lectures a lot like all math professors, but breaks it up often with his jokes so he is very easy to follow. Don't hesitate, take him!!!

Hands down the best Math professor. I took M100 twice and withdrew each time. I was not confident about passing the exam until I took professor Saitram's class. He made math fun and very understanding. I scored an 80 on the final exam thanks to all his help!!

God Bless him. I passed the M1 final not with the best grade but his math methods are easy to understand. He really motivates you to study while also relating to you as a student. His methods are great. He's a great professor and keeps th class entertaining. As long as you pay attention and show up to class. Do the homework assignments you will pass. Study the exams you receive in class and you will pass the final. Remember the formulas and it should be a breeze.

He is very good at getting equations and simple mathematics rules stuck in your head, because of him I will forever know the equation of a line, slope and simple rules that apply to adding subtracting multiplying and dividing positive and negative number. Also he is really fun if you do the work and not use the phone in his class.

I'm a C.J major which means, Math and I aren't 2 peas in a pod. However, Professor Lalbatchan gave me the confidence in math I didn't have before. His techniques of showing us the material were effective. The constant reminder of telling us to study, helped. His passion to teach & have his students understand, is definitely demonstrated in class.

I took Professor Saitram for both M100 & M200 and passed the final exams each semester. Math was never my strongest subject but Professor Saitram has a way of making you understand the material & will NOT move on until you're confident. If you don't take his advice you'll be sorry. Professor Saitram, is the "BEST" math professor at kings borough community college. I took M100 2 times at kings borough and "NEVER" passed until I finally had professor Saitram. After, taking M100 and finally passed i followed him because he was also teaching M200. I passed M200 after my first attempt. He has a big policy of NO CELLPHONES!

He's a great Professor. He gives updates on how you're doing in the class when asked and will tell you what you need to do to improve. Very encouraging, caring and will push you to your best potential. If you practice the materials, PAY ATTENTION, do your work and participate, you will be fine. I would definitely take him again. I took professor Saitram's class based upon his ratings. I sat in class the first day and I wasn't registered. I was determine to pass with his help. Long story short, I'm a quiet student so I didn't speak much. I spoke to him after class and he told me what I needed to do on my own. He is very patient and cares for his students.

I've taken this professor for M1 as well as M2; if only I could I'd take him for M7. He's the best math teacher I've had thus far. Professor Saitram encourages you to push through the struggle. And with the tools and tips, he gives you along with daily practice you're guaranteed to pass. Oh and he's hilarious.

First class of college I've taken as a negative minded freshman just coming off of active duty as a U.S Marine. This man really is straight to the point and clear. And if you happen to get lost along the way he will have no problem showing you how to get back on track. Just takes you asking. Very caring. Like his method/style, sure you will too.

This was my 4th time taking M1 and thanks to Professor Saitram I FINALLY PASSED. The way he explains problems its like a light bulb turning on and I finally understood. I took this professor for M4 Spring 2018. This is my second time taking the class. Coming from a fail and now 90 average. He is funny, down to earth, spend as much time for you to understand. He has a very strong and clear delivery compared to last professor. He gives a quiz weekly so the math stays in your head. Best math professor so far.

I have always been bad at math and despised the thought of taking math courses. But I actually enjoyed attending his lectures. He made me love math for a change. He keeps you engaged with the material and has a way of teaching that sticks in your head. I hope I get more professors like him.

Come ready with your previous math knowledge, you do not have to write every single thing down he writes on the board as listening to him is more important, he will let you know what to copy. I took his M200 class this Winter Semester. Great Professor, I've always been bad in Math, but he made math seem so easy, the way he taught. He explains everything well, step by step and clear. I even learned methods that i should have learned in M100. I literally had to take M100 3 times, and M200 Once thanks to his best teaching. You wont regret

Ive Taken this class several times, I was determined this semester to get out of this remedial , and because I chose mr. Saitram I was able to fulfil that goal I was very pleased he teaches with structure and timely manner. he engages with students to keep them focus uses great techniques to remember formulas to solve math problems . great choice

Took Prof. Saitram for winter 2018, Now I am no math genius and 100% HATE Math, But this Professor teaching made me learn the topics so easy I hardly had to ask questions. He explains the topic well enough and gives you chance to ask questions if you dont understand. Hes funny and his stories give a break in a 4 hour class, he goes back on topic.

He is very smart and explains the material that good that you do not need to refresh it at home! He always answers to all questions making sure everyone understands the topic. He made me love the math! And I finally moved forward by taking calc

Great teacher sometimes gets carried away with the stories but he makes sure you understand the basics before moving on. He doesnt give homework so if you wanna pass its up to you to practice I recommend 100%

If you don't like math or understand this will be the professor to take. Explains very well even if he have to say it over five times he just want to make sure you understands. He's funny, just pay attention.

A really respectable and wonderful teacher. I did not have faith that I would pass the AP calc exam until he showed me that I could, and I ended up getting a 4. I would recommend him to anyone, you won't regret it.

There is no absolute reason that you shouldn't take Lal. Saitram. He is very knowledgeable in math and makes sure everyone understands a concept before moving on. I wouldn't have been able to get a 5 on AP Calc without him. His lectures are amazing and keeps you interested in the lesson. Take Saitram at all costs!

he's one of the best math professor's at Kingsborough. He actually knows how to teach the class effectively. Bro all you have to do is go to his classes and show some sort of effort. Everyone who complains about him either didn't pay attention in class, didn't go to class, or didn't care. His quizzes are straight from his lessons and is simple. Just question and answer, nothing too hard. All you gotta do is give like80% and you'll pass with flying colors.
