Professor Seyam is a wonderful professor. She cares about seeing her students succeed. She's very knowledgable of chemistry, a great professor, and very funny! Exams are not hard, just need to go over the homework problems and read the PowerPoint she uses in class. Take her if you can!

Take this professor for chem202 at BMCC. I actualyl understand chemistry now and that is thanks to her lectures and power points. We rarely use the book. She's really good at what she does and it's so difficult to find a good chem prof. Do ALL of the homeworks and you will be fine.

I took professor Seyam for my Chemistry 202 class. This class is not baby stuff, so you can't expect it to be easy. Do your work, participate, do practice problems pockets, and you will be ok. She is willing to explain and she is a very nice lady. I would take her again and would recommend her to others.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! She has a soothing voice that keeps your full attention during her lectures , she explain clear, she always answers querying for the homework, and a plus: every time we have an exam, she schedules meetings to solve any questions an hour before the exam!!! The labs are well guided but dont underestimate her, she is tough!!

This class was an absolute win!! The professor has a soft voice that kept all of us paying attention at all times. Her explanations are clear and all questions are always answered. Professor was very knowledgable and taught chemistry very well. Attendance is mandatory so make sure you take a course during a day and time you can definitely show up to. After lecture she puts up her powerpoints as a PDF so it is printable. I would take a course of hers again, and highly recommend!

This professor is great. She gives 5 tests and they're all open book. she give multiple chances for homework all week. If you have a question during the lecture, she happily answers. Not a hard professor. Everything is clear on her syllabus. The labs she gives you are on subjects already covered so nothing is new and its just a refresh. 10/10

Everything was clearly explained and all questions were answered through class. As long as you did the homework and used the material she provided it was easy to follow along. I'm not sure what those other negative reviews are about me and most of my classmates really enjoyed the class. I wish other professors were as thorough and respectful.

Very professional, pleasant in demeanor and patient. She is also organized with her slide distribution on blackboard and I have not had a problem taking a test. You have to buy a textbook and research to understand and pass. Go on YouTube for supplement assistance. I would take her again. Want to impress her?? Do your work.

Professor was always flexible and understanding. Her lectures are very simple and clear. She solves plenty of exercises after each section to help you understand the topic. All her exams are multiple choice and on Blackboard. Youll see your exam score once the exam ends. All exams and lab grades available on BB for you to estimate your grade. A+

I took Chemistry in the Fall of 2020 when online classes were the only option. Even though it was online, Professor Seyam encouraged participation by stopping the lectures to work through problems and get our feedback. I found this really helped me to understand the material. She was always willing to explain. I enjoyed her class.

Very clear explanations of the material, and a lot of in class practice to make sure you understand the concepts for the tests. She even give you handouts so that you don't have to memorize all the formulas by heart. The labs are simple, but fun to do as a group. Overall the class was a breeze, would take again!

I was a bit hesitant by the reviews given on here for Prof. Seyam but I took her for Fall 2025 Semester at BMCC and my experience was wonderful. She's very willing to help you out any way she can!! Her exams are all mc and she does extra credit. She also gives out practice questions which does help out a lot on her exams, making it easy to pass.

This professor is easily one of the best I've had in my time at this school. Her lectures are incredibly clear, her exams are fair, and she's always willing to help out when needed.
