Mrs. Bekele is an oustanding professor. This is my second course with her. I am happy she was my teacher.

She explaines accounting well.

Accounting is hard if it is not your the degree, this teacher gives extra credit and has video lectures that made me feel like I was in class. Other accounting teachers do not give extra credit, she does and it helped me. Extra credit is extra work not free points, she is a great teacher and cares, unlike others that have something to prove.

She is AWESOME!!! you can bring a notecard to the exam and write anything you want front and back on it, that alone was enough for me and helped tremendously my grade.

I love Ms. Bekele! she is so awesome. She provides you with many tools to help you succeed. Her Online class is probably better than taking it live since she makes video lectures. She responds quickly and is very understanding of your situations! ah I'm so happy to finally pass accounting hahah

Man, I sure am glad I finally found a teacher who teaches with clear examples. She used every space imaginable on the white boards for notes, and examples. Passed out notes. Gave extra credit. Professor Bekele is very good and clear in teaching accounting. You must take notes and pay attention to her lectures and study outside of class and you will do good. She will help you understand if something does not make sense. She is very nice and she does care. I would take her for Acct. 2302 but she only teaches it in the summer.

I took her for both Accounting I & II in the same semester. Yes, right after the other (online)!! I didn't think I was able, but perseverance played a big part. She gives videos for every chapter & test reviews. I recommend her without a doubt! You must go to Richland for the Mid-Term & Final exams. I did the impossible, so can you!

Just finished May Term. Best Prof ever!! This is a fast paced course, which means I had to spend more hours every day. However, Ms. bekele provides with a lot of support to help you understand the material. She has great video lectures and responds to emails in minutes!

I absolutely recommend Professor Bekele! This was my 2nd attempt at ACCT 2301 and I got an (A) compared to my 1st attempt (D) with another teacher. Professor Bekele makes it sooo easy for you to succeed. She provides video lectures which help tremendously! She also allows you to take a note card with whatever you want written on it to the exams!

Took accounting 1 during Maymester not knowing what I was getting myself into. Rented the book through Chegg and started reading. Did the extra-credit(practice problem & video quizzes), homework, and quizzes for each chapter. Made an A in the class. Took Accounting 2 over Summer 1 and also made an A; no book because all important info. in videos.

Simply amazing. Although she may seem intimidating, very helpful in person. The tests were ok to pass , however, everyone gets scaled up quite a bit so you end up with a good grade. No matter which prof you have for ACCT, you will get a similar grade; because of scaling in LAM's class and lack of scaling in other classes. Tips: BONUS CR attention!

sHe uses class time well and covers everything you need to know. The homework can be time consuming but usually has video examples that walk you through the problem. There are 3 tests and they are very similar to the review problems. You need a 92% to get an A, but it's very doable. Overall, a consistent teacher and a relatively easy class.

Though her accent is thick, you can understand her. Her tests are extremely heavily weighted. But she provides all the tools you need to do well. If you just pay attention or put the slightest amount of effort into her class you can make a good grade.

The best online class with full lecture videos. There is a reason why her classes fill up fast. Took her 2301 in class. She makes the class very interesting and she knows her stuff! Accounting is not an easy A class. Some reviews for her online class made me worry at first. Then I compared the syllabuses of other good acct profs and they were all the same grade scale but This class offered a 5"X8" note card for tests and short extra credit lecture videos with a small quiz. I am glad I took this class for Accounting Two...I took it in Summer One...just make sure that you do well on he midterm and that you do all of the extra credit that is possible...Take this teacher for Accounting you won't be sorry...my only regret is that I did not take her for Accounting one!

She does sometimes have a confusing accent but, if you're paying attention you can figure it out. Lectures are over the homework that is online. Quizzes are over the HW. Tests are given in class over the last few chapters and you get to bring a NOTE CARD!!! Great teacher! Made accounting easy! You can Google almost every answer for HW and quizzes.

Wow! Ms. Bekele is amazing. I took her both 2301 (on campus) and 2302 (online). She is one of a kind! Some of the comments about her accent are nonsense. Everyone has accent. In fact, she has a clear standard accent like a news reader. There is NO WAY you would fail accounting because of her. Take her if you want to LEARN accounting .

Took spring semester online... Her rubric is very helpful... works on a 2000 point scale with the mid-term and final worth 500 each. Because she has videos for each chapter, a textbook is unnecessary, but you will need to buy the Connect access code (est. $100) to submit assignments. She's kinda rude in emails. Expect a "No." reply, literally.

Professor Bekele is what you want in a college professor. I wish there many like her. She is helpful. She responds to emails fast. Her videos are clear and well organized. Don't get me wrong you have to work for your grade. Read the syllabus and practice and you will get an A. I highly recommend her.

Professor Lamrot is an excellent accounting teacher and she is always there to help you. She teaches her course materials very well and always make sures everybody understands a topic. She is well organized and cares about all hers students by giving out chapters outlines and making us take practice exams before we take the real exam.

I took this class over the Maymester while working a full time job and taking another class. I received a C which was because the subject is not easy for me. DO the HW, all quizes and extra credit. It is all online so if you do all of that you will pass with at least a C, there is multiple attempts on HW but only to on QZ. Tests are over hw and QZ.

I took this class online. The lectures, notes, homework and quizzes can be really time consuming but overall she is a really great teacher. She had multiple lecture videos and also some extra credit.

This was my first accounting class and I passed it with an A. Bekele's lectures are extremely informative and helpful and they count for extra credit. There is a lot of homework each week and some of it is tough. But just do the work and watch her lecture videos and you'll pass. She also responded to all of my emails within hours. Grate profesor.! Get ready to read, but also watch her videos... they are AMAZING!!! I took her online class, and I must say that it was full of extra credits. Also, do the review exams for the Midterm and Final, they prepare you for the real tests.

I took her online class for the Maymester (3 weeks) term, so of course, it's going to be difficult. You have to work really hard for it. Do all homework, and watch all of her lecture videos. I didn't really have much of an opinion on her since the class was online and I never met her, but she seemed nice enough to me. Somehow, I made an A.

Her instructions, schedule and grading criteria are crystal clear and she responds to emails within 24 hrs. Yes, she does not accept late work. She allows a notecard in the testing center. Most of her questions in the 2 tests are common from the practice bank she gives. H.W and quizzes are in quizlet.

She is an amazing teacher because she cares deeply about her students and wants to do everything for you to pass. Everything is clear with her and she knows her stuff and is passionate about accounting. She wants everything done on time and you must work hard to earn your grade but it is very doable if you do not procrastinate.

Took her online Flex Term class and she was great. There is homework and a quiz for every chapter twice a week but that's because it was an 8 week class. Her online lecture videos are extremely helpful along with her Mid-Term and Final Exam review videos. I definitely will be taking Accounting 2 with her.

TAKE HER!! I took her online during summer II. It was fast paced, but that is to be expected with every summer class. She posts videos online to help you better understand the book. You will have to work for your grade, but she helps you so much. Tests are taken at a testing center but you are allowed a 5x8 note card. She makes ACCT so much easier!

I took professor Bekele for ACNT2301 (remotely) and I only have positive things to say about her and her class. Her videos are straight to the point and she provides examples in order to ensure everyone fully understands. The homeworks and quizzes are through Connect and are not difficult. I received a B with minimal effort and is an easy class.

I took Managerial Accounting with professor Bekele during the wintermester and overall, it was a great experience. The homeworks and quizzes were a bit difficult, but there's an opportunity for extra credit. The professor provides test reviews that mirror the exams and it is impossible to not pass the class.

Took her online during the winter mini. Her videos helped. She gives extra credit. If you decide to take her during a flex term online, be ready to grind and spend some serious time into this class. turn in all your work to receive points. I recommend using Chegg to help solve problems, it helped me a lot.

I took Professor Bekele for a 4 week flex online class. Just the fact that its a 4 wk class made it difficult but do-able. I worked full time and raise 3 children & passed. Be prepared to spend at least 3 hours a say for class. Her viseo lectures are amazing! Each chapter requires practice, homework and quiz. Dont really need the book. Take her.!

She used to be an accountant so she knows what she's talking about. If your major is Accounting, take her right away, you can ask any Accounting related questions and she will answer until you fulfill understand. her accent might be hard to understand but there are pre-lecture videos online so you can replay it and ask for help if needed. 10/10

she is by far the best at accounting. i took a 3 WEEK CLASS while on vacation and made a B. she is that great at teaching. there is work load but her video lectures are really good at explaining content. she didnt have a textbook, but you will need a code for homework. she also had 2 projects but they were easy when the effort is put in. TAKE HER!!

Great video lectures, although a couple were not the best quality, they really helped make this a great class. Only had to refer to the textbook for a couple sections the videos covered most of it better than the book. Best online experience so far.

I highly recommend this professor. Her way of teaching the material is great. She makes anything difficult way too easy. Pay attention, take notes, finish all the assignment and you will definitely make an A . I am taking her again in fall. She is amazing.

Pretty easy course but you NEED CHEGG; Final and Midterm are out of 500 points which is a lot, but studying her review and going over connect hw helps a lot. I recommend doing the connect hw during the free trial and screen recording if u are gonna use it. I used connect to study for midterm and I got a 94, and didn't for the final and got an 85.

Just finished taking Acct 2301 online and made a B. This class was fairly easy as long as you watch her video lectures and take good notes. All the homework and quizzes were easy. Also the midterm wasn't bad at all but the final was really hard. You will need to purchase the access code, had to take the midterm and final exam at testing center.

The tests are easy (multiple choice) , just go over the review and the chapter quizzes. Take good lecture notes! Tests have to be taken in person, a notecard is allowed

Prof. Bekele is a really wonderful professor. I took this in a flex term. Accounting is hard but she has a ton of lecture videos that help you a lot. She gives extra credit. I guess the exams are the same for all professors at the college. but she gives reviews. Make sure to complete all the assignments and ask questions

Prof. Bekele was fair. The online class could be overwhelming if you wait to do everything during the turn in date. If you do each homework and quiz and practice you should be able to pass with an A. There are 2 exams, a midterm and a final. One word of advice, make sure to write down the formulas for the exams! I would retake if I could.

Highly recommend this professor, I did 2301 the 1st 8 weeks and then 2302 the 2nd 8 weeks and made As in both. She gives extra credit and the hw and practice quiz u get unlimited chance so it easy to get 100. Then 2 Chance on the quiz. mid-term/final are same as quizzes. U can take a cheat note card with u into the test center.

This has been my favorite and least stressful class. The test and quizzes are just like the HW, she gives you everything you need to make an A including extra credit just for doing the practice work. The Accounting Cycle Project was the hardest part but you can figure it out from the book and HW. Open Note and open book test and quizzes .

Accounting is not an easy subject but she provides amazing lectures that actually help with the understanding of the material. There are only two exams (midterm & final), and a quiz/homework/practice for every chapter. Very simple if you pay attention to lecture and skim over the book. I would recommend setting up a study group with classmates.

Took her for both 2301 and 2302 and I'm glad I did. Accounting is not an easy subject but she made it make sense. If you're an acct major I recommend you read the book, watch lecture vids, do the practice, then hw, then the quiz. There's 10 chapters, 1 project, 2 reviews, and 2 exams. Practices count as extra credit & she also provides review vids.

It is a hard subject but she has video lectures and is very accessible. The practice is extra credit and her projects are not hard. The practice and homework is an easy grade because you can do the problems until you get the correct answer. The quiz can be taken twice. The midterm and final exam are worth half of your total grade.

Easy class theres just a lot of homework. Theres a project in the beginning of the semester that takes a while. Theres a few exams and quizzes. Complete the chapter practices and you get extra credit. Highly recommend her, she is way better than any other accounting prof ive had before

Project assignment is tough; if you dont know acctg. Her class videos are tough to follow due the bouncing around versus still-shot. Take advantage of the prequizzes, homework assignments to study for the mid and final term exams. You can come on top with an A, I did! Good luck!!

This class was easy and a great introduction to ACCT. Her video lectures are FANTASTIC, She uploads them to Youtube so I was able to watch them while at work. Work load isn't so heavy. I'm almost positive Prof. Bekele curved my 87 grade to an A for final grade. Another reason to praise her! If her 2302 class wasn't full I would've signed up for it.

Great Professor, Great lectures. The one class I actually learned something because of good teaching. One thing I will say though is I had a pretty bad brain injury right before finals week and couldn't even keep my eyes open. She didn't seem care so my parents emailed her my medical reports and had to get a academic accommodation from the school.

This professor made managerial accounting easy even for someone like myself. I've looked at YT videos on accounting that made my eyes gloss over. But her lectures & teaching style simplified the process for me. If you are poor at accounting tables & excel concepts, practice before taking this class. More skilled students will enjoy this class.

Her videos help you to understand the topics in which she is trying to teach you, so when you start the work, you will have a good understanding of what to do. Easy class to pass as long as you are doing the work. She answers emails also.

By far the most challenging course I've taken. DO NOT take this as a winter/summer class. I repeat DO NOT take this as a minimester class. This isnt a quizlet or google the answers type of class, it requires tons of work and understanding on your part. Assignments were due every other day with a commitment of at least 35 hours or more a week!

Great pre lecture videos, great in class teaching. Got a whole new confidence in learning accounting because she explained concepts so well. Practice! Practice! Practice! She made accounting easy!! 3 exams and ur allowed to bring a cheat sheet!! we do homework in class so you just have to watch a few videos and take a quiz each week which are pretty easy and don't take long to complete. As long as you show up to class and pay attention you should he fine.

This is not a easy pass type of class if you are searching for it. However this is an amazing professor, she is passionate about the subject and hilarious. I take all of my classes online but this is the only class I will take in person. Every chapter have homework that done online. Exam is in person, student must bring scantron to the exam.

Amazing professor!!! She made accounting so much easier for me. The videos are very helpful and is what saved me. Most times the videos are short, and she makes it extra credit to boost your grade. During lecture she will go over each homework question, so all you have to worry about is the quiz. She also allows half page of notes for the Exam.

She's very engaging with the class she has this method where you watch the hw videos at home and the homework is done in class. You can also retake quizzes!
