Does a good job of making the subject matter easy to understand, and does everything she can to help the students succeed. The online homework has extra credit material, and you get an easy 8% of the grade in discussion board posts. I put my grade as "Not sure yet" because the semester isn't over, but I feel pretty confident I'm going to get an A.

Its an easy A class. I went to class 9 times this semester and still got a B. Homework is on Revel and is painfully easy. Exams are easy. and she gives extra credit for the wind blowing. Best Prof. at FAU!!

Dr. Jones is the best prof at FAU. She is hilarious and relatable. Homework is super easy and counts for a good portion of the grade. Theres a midterm and a final but if you go to the review you should be more than fine. Best psych class I've ever taken with the best professor. More professors should aim to be like her. She wants you to do well!!!

Dr. Jones, is a beautiful & smart lady. Love her jokes. One thing, I am not sure if she's too fast with lectures, or if my attention span sucks with math, I just had few problems retaining her lectures, but she makes her office hrs available, and she is very caring for her students. The Mindtaps are also a great way to practice. TAKE THEM SERIOUS.

She is a 10/10 professor. I highly recommend her. The course is pretty easy if you do the homework, and attend class. Two exams midterm and final. I would take her again for other courses offered on campus. :)

This class was very enjoyable and I liked Professor Jones a lot. She was super funny every class and her grading scale is perfect. She has 2 tests but you even if you don't do too well on them you can still get a high grade because of homework/discussions/attendance. DO YOUR HOMEWORK AND GO TO CLASS. if you do that then you're chillen

She is a very great professor. She is very funny and is very good at making the material easy to learn. Her test are very straight forward and is exactly what her kahoot reviews are. There is a lot of homework but it is EASY!!!!!!!! All you got to do is the homework and show up and your getting an A.

She is probably the best professor I had so far. Super smart and very relatable. Her lectures are amazing, I am never bored or not able to pay attention during her class. I would definitely take her again.

Dr. Jones is hilarious and does a great job at explaining the terms and concepts by applying it to reality and engaging in discussion. This class was really easy, but full of information. Her study guide is EXTREMELY HELPFUL, the homework is simple but informative and a really neat way to learn the concepts, and you get points for showing up? 10/10

Professor Jones has been the most easy-going, funniest teacher Ive ever had. I really enjoy going to her classes and I learned something new and exciting during every lecture. The midterm and final was easy and straight from the material she covered. Highly recommend her!

This class is very easy! It consists of a midterm and final (both cumulative), group quizzes, and discussion board assignments. Complete hw on time and take the professor's advice on how to study for exams and quizzes and you will breeze through this class. Lana Jones also offers a lot of extra credit through out the semester.

Dr. Jones is AWESOME. She made statistics fun and is such an engaging professor to listen too plus she's just flat out hilarious. This class is honestly super easy especially the first half of the semester. I have never laughed more in class than I have with her. Midterm/Final is easy, group quizes are easy, homework is pretty easy too.

If you have the chance to take her for any class, do it! She is hilarious and makes lectures enjoyable. Theres iclicker reef attendance, online homework, discussion boards, and 2 exams but its an easy A if you just show up and do the work. She gives kahoots to study for the exams and posts powerpoints I would take her for every class if I could!

Dr. Jones is fantastic. You can always tell theres a bitter student by how they whine about their GPA. If you go to class, she gives Kahoot, which are literally the test questions. She gives extra credit, midterm is 20% of the grade and final is 30% ( NOT CUMULATIVE). Homework is 40% of your grade, discussion and attendance worth 5%.

She made class with going to because all lectures were entertaining and informational. The online work is needed to get a good grade in the class, but not difficult to complete if you start it when it is assigned not when it is due

This class is extremely easy to succeed in. Homework is worth a lot but not hard at all, just make sure to keep on top of it. Tests are easy, study the kahoots and you will get an A. Professor Jones makes this statistics class easier to understand and gives practice problems to help you understand the homework and what to expect on the quizzes/exams. The quizzes are group quizzes which makes them less stressful and allows you to learn from your peers. Overall great professor to take for a challenging course!

She does a good job at making sure you get it if you dont she will keep going over and not move on until you do. Class always ends early so youll have plenty of time for one on one questions and practice problems. Shes very very generous . Did not like some of her jokes because they were a bit much but.... her class is good. No textbook used

Best professor ever. Attendance is not mandatory however she does do activities during class that bump up your grade so you should not miss any classes. Offers a lot of extra credit. Her kahoots are very similar to her tests (easyyyy) just study those. She is so funny and makes the class so fun and light. I will for sure take her again. 10/10.

Forgot to leave this review while back after completing this class in summer, but I wish I could've also given Dr. Jones a chili pepper lol. She's hot! her lectures are beautiful, and her lectures structure is beautiful, and of course as well as herself. She's very cool. I always got picked on for being late!

Dr. Jones will make the class fun and light. She always adds funny anecdotes about her life that may relate to the topic we're on. I found this class hard because her power points aren't really helpful but Read the textbook and do the homework and you'll be fine.

I took her for Stats and she made the subject very understandable. It's a lot to learn but she makes sure to add funny stories that help you remember. The final is cumulative, but everything leads up to future topics and she lets you have a cheat sheet for the final. Attendance isn't mandatory but if you want a good grade, you should come to class

She is a very good teacher. She cares a lot about students and really wants us to understand. Only two test and quizzes but like the test are exactly like the online review so if you fail then you are just lazy. Obviously you have to put in some kind of effort but not a lot. It wasnt a class that I was worried about.

BEST PROFESSOR EVER! Her lectures are hilarious and she'll make u understand hard material in a way that u can understand it. Lots of hw, lots of extra credits and 2 exams. I would record her classes and work the hw questions because it is similar to the exams. You'll only get an easy A if you do what she says. She's super cool and beautiful!!!

I loved this teacher!! She always related her lectures to the real world and kept me engaged through funny stories. There is only 2 tests though, the midterm and the final which are worth a large percent of your grade. However, on the exam she made a kahoot which I only studied and got an A. She also randomly takes attendance so come to class.

I loved Dr. Jones' lectures, until I took the tests. The lectures were hilarious but don't prepare you for the exam at all! There's only one exam THE ENTIRE SEMESTER, then a final exam that is cumulative. There are many other opportunities to boost your grade, however, I prefer professors that write their test questions themselves. Won't take again

Attendance is mandatory, but you wont mind because she is hilarious. I honestly did not read the textbook, but I listened to her lectures and the homework helped me recall a lot. She will have you get in a group during lecture and discuss a given question and submit (easy A). She was extremely gracious during COVID-19.

Dr. Jones is amazing and hysterical. She made the lecture fun and interesting! There is a lot of homework but it isn't unmanageable or difficult. She does in-class assignments for credit so it is important to attend. Loved this class!

Lana is literally one of the best professors I have had so far. Stats was the easiest with her. Hw's are pretty easy and exams are too, as long as you pay attention in class your set. Quizzes are in groups and she gives you two chances to get it right. Also hilarious, will make you want to go to class because her stories are so fun to here.

She is really fun and makes stats seem interesting! Theres a lot of homework but its very useful for practice especially for the quizzes and exams. she offers help on the homework during class and quizzes are all group based.

I took her for DEP 3053 and PSY 3234 and honestly she is amazing. She is really funny and makes the lectures interesting. Pretty easy on the grading but that doesn't mean you can just not put in any effort. Especially for PSY 3234, you'll have to listen to the lectures and actually do the Cengage homework but if you do that then you will do well.

I've taken Doc Jones for two psych classes already and she is always great. This class's curriculum is difficult but that's just the name of the game (stats). This course was online due to COVID and that was the worst bit, there is a big difference in her teaching online and in-person (which I miss). Still a great prof, definitely take her!

Dr. Jones is awesome, take her if you can! The course work was on Cengage and there was about 2-3 hours of homework a week. Dr Jones kept the zoom lectures pretty entertaining but effective in delivering info. Exams were open notes and 1 exam and 2 hw grades get dropped. Easy material in the first few weeks but gets so hard in the last 5-6 weeks.

Dr. Jones is great. All the homework assignments are on Cengage and the exams are open notes. Material gets challenging later, but she provides problem set reviews if you're struggling and is easy to reach out to via email.

Professor Jones was amazing this semester. All the homework assignments are in cengage and as zooms are used to go over problem sets. She is very easy to reach via email. She dropped the lowest test grade and 2 of the lowest homeworks which really helps and also gave plenty of opportunities for extra credit.

Dr. Jones was a great professor. The class is primarily done through Cengage which includes all the homework sets and mastery reviews(vocab). There are discussion posts assigned throughout the semester, but they are very simple and an easy way to get points... so do them! She offers several opportunities for extra credit too. Highly recommended!

Dr. Jones is a really funny and knowledgable about what she teaches. I took this course fully online, so there were pre-recorded lectures and the homework is all on Cengage. She holds problem set reviews to go over the homework and is easy to reach out to. There are 5 exams that are hard if you don't know the material, but tons of extra credit.

Professor Jones was a great math teacher to have! I took her statistics course over an intense 6-week period and she made the material very easy to understand. All of her lectures are pre-recorded so this makes it easy to fit into your normal everyday schedule. She is very funny and laid back! The exams were not too difficult either!

The lectures were great. They were separated in short increments so you can take your time and go through them. She explains things in a funny way that helps you remember the material. Make sure you do the homeworks and understand the concepts from the lectures for the exams. The material can get confusing towards the end, so just keep up with it

Dr. Jones is hilarious and a great lecturer; however, I had to take two sets of notes: textbook and lecture, as she doesn't go through everything. Homework was easy but dont leave it for last minute because you can't do it all at once. The Exams were heavy, so make sure you know your stuff. Overall she is real funny and nice, you'll like her.

I took Dr. Jones for Multicultural Psych and have never enjoyed a class more. You are allowed 2 absences and are expected to write 3 essays, which are fairly easy to do. We have insightful discussions and she tells such hilarious stories related to the course content. There are no tests, just weekly quizzes and discussions.I would highly recommend.

Highly organized person. She is clear and concise during lectures, she gives lots of examples that will appear in homework. Homework is waaaay more difficult and tedious than exams (usuaIly short and sweet), I do not like stats and I refused to study until I met her. She is very fair and engaging. You will learn something at the end of semester.

She also had prerecorded videos for each chapter. 3-4 chapters were due every 3 weeks. Statistics is a HARD course but all the assignments/discussion helped my grade. Adding to the previous rating, I also had to take notes both from the textbook via Cengage and her lectures on canvas. I couldnt learn simply from her lectures, so I mostly took notes from the book and like 3-4 days before exams I watch the recordings. Overall, the prof is chill and has a clear grading criteria. She drops lowest exam and 2 low hw.

Took the summer format for this class. Homework assignments every week due by Friday and some discussion boards. Very straightforward and Professor Jones provides all resources needed to pass the class.There are no quizzes or tests, only a final at the end of the semester. Awesome class!

I took the 6-week version of this course and tbh I thought it'd be difficult since math isn't my strongest subject but surprisingly it was quite easy. The lectures are straightforward and provide a good foundation for each chapter. The homework gives you three tries per question and averages out each attempt. The final is worth 25% of your grade.

This course mostly consists of homework assignments. I really suggest to use Chegg! It shows work to most problem types.The only other two parts of our grade were discussion posts which were very easy 100s and the final exam.The class was stressed abt exam bc we've never had a test before but it was just like the practice exam. Her lectures were funny to listen to. The final exam is very similar to the practice exam she gave out. Pay attention to her examples in the lectures!

I took Dr. Jones twice and she is an amazing professor, I would take her a third time if I could. I was in her multicultural psychology course that was by far my favorite class. Her lectures are very engaging and funny, and most of the assignments were discussion based. There was also weekly quizzes in which all the answers would be in the textbook

The first time I took PSY3234, I failed. The second time I took it, I switched to Dr. Jones, today was the last day of class & I ended with an A-, enough said. Pretty easy even for math, hw gives u multiple attempts and the discussion posts are SUPER easy. The lectures are the same as the powerpoints, so they're not super useful, but she makes them entertaining. Only one test (the final) and you get a practice exam and it's open-note. This class was a breeze. Homework was a little lengthy but fairly easy to complete. Practice final that she provides helps A LOT in preparation for the final. Only grades are homework, discussions, and final.

Loved this professor, her lecture videos were helpful and she is very funny. Homework assignments were weighted heavily but they were so easy. The practice final helped a lot with the final. I would recommend her and would take her again

Be prepared to teach yourself, the lectures doesn't cover the whole chapter so you have to study the textbook. Homework was lengthy but easy and she gives you plenty of time to complete them. Final exam had no review guide but there is only one exam so if you study the material well and do the practice test you should be fine.

Dr Jones had the best recorded lectures I've seen and taught pretty advanced material in a digestible and bitesize manner. Lots of work and her exams are proctored, but great class.

Bio basis is a lot of content, so stay on top of your work and make sure you revise the information! I used her powerpoints, not the book. The tests were really not that bad but some questions were just annoying to deal with and, in my opinion, ambiguous or not clear. Best advice is to revise, revise, revise! Annotate the powerpoints as you watch.

I took her online for fall and there was only one exam, which was the final (cumulative). I would recommend taking the practice exam for the final since the question layout was basically the same. Most of the grade was from the hw, which were super easy. She has videos going over some of the harder questions in the hw too. She's also funny.
