This man is the single greatest teacher I have ever had. Spring semester just started and I'm already in Lance withdrawal. If you don't like being called a pinko hippy liberal then don't take his class. He's a former Lt. Colonel in the Army and taught at West Point so he's pretty in your face about politics. Great if you support King George

Lt. Colonel Bardlsey is the best teacher ever, it seems really hard but I ended up making an A after making a 70 on the first test. The class is fun, and you get to know people really well!

The rest of these comments are crazy. I usually pull As in my classes, but this one was hard. Once, he put an entire chapter on our test that he never covered. He rambles a lot. He talks EXTREMELY loud. I would not reccomend him for an 8:00am class. Other than that, he's an alright teacher.

VERY EASY! I don't know why so many people on here think his tests were hard. His tests come straight from his power points and right out of the books. Very entertaining guy!

Has a good sense of humor, especially during presidential elections! keeps class interesting, but make a real effort to attend because test material comes from lecture and powerpoints. Really nice guy!

Very funny guy. Gives out study guide on test and lets you write the answers on it then use it during the test. Most people didn't do to well in class, but they were more than likely lazy. If attend all classes you exempt final. Overall, I would recommend this teacher.

Okay, if you take him for Poli sci: go to EVERY CLASS (show up on time to sign for attendance),make complete notes on study guide (he lets you use notes on tests), and show up on time for test days (or you can't take test). Do this and you can exempt the final (can't use notes on final). I got an A... you can too.

Great teacher. Very helpful if you get on his good side. Had my reserves at first but as the semester progressed, i began to really enjoy his class. Tests are hard, but you get to use a study guide on the tests. Really passionate about politics and teaching which is hard to find these days. Great guy. Take his class

He was nice and the class was a breeze. You have to complete 30 hours of volunteer work outside of class. You usually meet once a week for the majority of the semester which is awesome. Some random assignments but overall a good class and a nice professor.

When I first came in to this class i was nervous because i did not know if i would be good at it but it ended up being very interesting. He is loud he always scared me when he walked into class. he knew what he was talking about and had a lot background in interning other polticians. I thought it was a great class!

Great Professor!!! Made an A!! Lots of Lecturing but lets you use your study guide for the test!! Fill them out well and you are bound to Ace the course!! he also gives you a chance to exempt the final if you show up to all the classes (With 1 freebie to miss)

Highly reccomend. Attendance is mandatory but I left early several times and he didn't mention it to me. There are 4 tests and he gives you a study guide for all of them and if you fill it out well, you will do well. Thus if you do well and attend all but one class you can miss the final. Good conservative minded teacher. Looks like santa claus

He is hilariously entertaining, which keeps you focused in on a not so interesting topic for me. I learned a lot, wanted to attend my classes, and got a decent grade. If you attend all classes, you will be rewarded! This military man talks loud and proud and leaves a memorable impression on his students, or at least me! Highly recommend.

GO to every class, DO your study guide, TAKE notes, and READ your book...with this you will get an 'A.' Tough but great teacher as he gives you extra credit oppritunites and lets you take a note filled study guide to test AND if you go to every class (but one) you can skip the final. Funny guy as well, I highly recommend him.

Has to be the most fair professor on the campus. Class can be kinda boring but he is a funny guy! Enjoyed his class a lt. Like others stated, fill out the study guides, the homeworks, and take advantage of the extra credit he offers. Great guy and professor!!!

Good teacher. Lets you use study guides on most tests. You wont have trouble hearing him. He likes to talk loud. He is good at explaining the subjects he is currently discussing.

I really liked his straight forward type of class. He gives online homework that is not hard at all. Make sure to fill out your study guides as much as you can, you can take them to the tests! Go to class and listen well! It will save you study time later.

This was a pretty easy class. Make sure you fill out the study guides because you can use them on the tests! He gives lots of extra credit, so if you take advantage of this, you should be able to pretty well. He's very LOUD because he's an ex-military guy but he's really cool and nice.

If I could tell you one thing to help you out in this class it would be too take full advantage of the study guide. There's just too much information to remember without it. Do this and it should be an easy A or B. He's loud and pretty funny as well.

Professor Bardsley is one of a kind. His pols classes requires students to fill out their study guides with accurate information, so they can use it on the tests. Mr. Bardsley is an awesome teacher, and gives you so many oppurtunities to make an A in his class. Try and come to class because he passes around an attendance sheet everyday, and use your study guide before tests. Would take again!

Very easy class. As long as you do SmartBook Assignments you will pass with an A. He allows the study guide on every test and all the information you can fit on it. I never took notes in class and got an A.

Funniest teacher i have ever had by far. He relayed the information great in his lectures. Often lets class out early and cancels class friday a lot. He also gives you a sheet of terms to know and lets you write anything you want on it so that you can use it on the test. Just do the cheat sheets and online homework and you will get an A.

He was a great teacher. If you don't like loud then don't take his class. Make sure you keep up with his online quizzes and DO THE STUDY GUIDE!!!!!! You can bring the study guide to the tests. At the end of the year he will drop your lowest test grade if your attendance was good.

Hilarious and amazing teacher! Gives you a study guide for tests and lets you fill up the sheet and use it the day of. He also gives lots of extra credit opportunities so take advantage of them. Be sure to keep up with online quizzes because they're easy to forget about. If you get offended easily, I wouldn't recommend him.

He is a hilarious teacher but not for the easily offended! He does an even job of picking on the democrats and the republicans. DO NOT forget to do the online practice questions and quizzes. ALWAYS do your study guide. Everything you need to know is on his PPTs. He will upload those to D2L. Definitely recommend. I am taking him for a second class.

Professor Bardsley's class was awesome! He gives a ton of extra credit opportunities for the tests that are simple (watch a video, fill out a worksheet, etc). He is very funny and a nice man. He allows study guides to be brought to the test! DO THESE THEY HELP! Pay attention in his lectures and do the online homework- takes awhile but easy.

Bardsley is hilarious. He is very opinionated, so if you get your feelings hurt easily and are sensitive, don't take him. He allows you to use the study guide on each test. Essay questions can sometimes be difficult, however, he offers a lot of extra credit. Would totally take him again.

Do your work and the online assignments and you will pass. I never made above a 75 on any of the 4 exams and still got an A with the online work and extra credit. He is really loud but it kept me awake!!

Dr. Bardsley is one of my favorite professors. He is hilarious and blunt, but he doesn't grade harshly and gives out a lot of extra credit opportunities. It was an easy A for me.

He is loud and for a pols class thats good because u stay awake. The online assignments were good for easy 100s to help with class average and there is extra credit points that can really add up. Am an average student and made an A. Gonna take him again for pols 2401.

Hilarious! Tests are rough! I don't know anyone that made a test grade higher than an 80 on his tests. I averaged a 70 and I'm a hard worker!! DO ALL THE HOMEWORKS!! DO ALL THE EXTRA CREDIT! If you have good attendance, you can skip the final. Fun guy, enthusiastic, but tough class. Homework and lectures don't always line up but tests cover both.

By far one of the funniest professors Ive had. Hard tests but grades generously. He knows what hes talking about and has an entertaining way of lecturing. Would take again.

Comes off a little strong at first, but is funny & genuinely cares about the material. Reminds me of my conservative grandfather (in a good way). Four somewhat difficult tests but you can use a study guide, and one final that serves as grade replacement or is optional if you have good attendance. Homework is easy. easy a if you put in the effort. grades extremely hard on all tests, but you are allowed to bring in a cheat sheet for each test. sooooo much online homework, BUT TAKE THE TIME TO DO IT ALL!!! as long as you complete it you get a 100% on homework. do every extra credit opportunity available. very loud, but a very cool guy. final is optional.

Bardsley is awesome!!! He is so funny and very knowledgeable about what he is talking about. A few extra credit opportunities that are easy. Every test he lets you have a one page study guide, final is optional. Overall super easy class and actually interesting! Definitely recommend taking him!!

He is out there and he says some things that could be considered offensive, but he is just being funny. His class was fun and he gives a ton of extra credit. I would recommend his class, especially if you like dark humor.

first of all he is hilarious.. every test you get to use a study guide with hand written notes on it and I recommend doing it and also getting the definitions from the text book instead of google. take advantage of ALL the extra credit and prepare your study guides and you'll do fine. He is extremely loud but like I said before super funny. 10/10

Favorite teacher, hands down! He made class interesting for an 8am. This man is hilarious, yet knowledgeable. HE'S SO LOUD BUT SO FUNNY. If you want an A, follow these steps Attend every class take notes complete homework and study guide I didn't even need to study for this class. A lot of homework is the only downside, though. Besides that, Dr. Bardsley is one of the funniest profs I've ever had. His dry sense of humor and LOUD voice keeps you engaged. HIGHLY recommend.

He is super vocal and says strange things, but it makes you laugh. The tests covered both textbook and lecture material. Honestly, some tests were easy, and some super hard. He is interesting and clearly knows what he is talking about. He is just a little wack. I enjoyed the class tbh.
