he is rude and disrespectful and his lecture style is not productive. anyone who likes him or his teaching style is: 1-well versed in math & doesnt need help 2-has the time to teach themselves bc he doesnt. 3-crazy. worst teacher i have ever had...avoid!!

DON'T TAKE THIS CLASS!!! I didn't learn a dang thing in class. I did all the homework and studied hard. I even went to him for help and he wouldn't give it. I got an "F". I took the class the next semester with Cuatok and got and "A".

Statistics is worthless. all i learned in his class is don't trust anybody that uses statistics because statistics lie. i did all the homework, but he counted almost none of it. i don't understand statistics at all, i'm lucky i passed.

nightmare he shows up late has assigned seats doesnt go over the homework gives his own short cut examples and if u do not use them for the test he lowers ur score. but how can we use his method if we dont understand what the heck he is talking about. only way to learn is by self teaching and read

This is the worst professor I ever have had (period) and he is rude and not nice. He is very egotisitcal, and will say how smart he is, and how you should think like him. He has no teaching or people skills. Do not take his class!

His way of thinking is wrong...he is so closed minded b/c he swears he is right. If you ask him question he looks at you and says i dont know how simpler i could make it...AVOID THIS CLASS!!!!

ok this teacher needs to slow down!!!! all he would constantly do is contradict the book. "th ebook is wrong, the formualas are pointless.. blah blah blah." honestly get out if you can i cant urge it enough - if you dont have a clue what stats is going in you wont have any idea going out. plus his grading is based on his methods - auditory teacher.

The most unfair teacher i have ever had! very stubborn, only excepts homework if it's done HIS way, not if you use the book for help. Makes you feel dumb if you ask a question. Im a good student and a fair judger but i would not recommend him to my worst enemy.

I must say I love stats and statistical analysis, yet "Griffin" made me hate the class. He uses a horrible "cluster" grading system that f**ks you over if 1 person decides to ruin the curve. I am really good at stats, and ended up going to Harvard for a term, yet "Griffin's" class was the "hardest" i've taken because he's so horrible at presenting.

AnalRetentive! Obnoxious Stats teacher. Homework, attendance manditory. CLUSTER GRADING! Ur grade is based off everyone else! OVER complicates Stats, can only use 5 function calculator. 2 projects, impossible 100%. Rambles about stocks, stats, etc. makes you raise your hand every 10 seconds! rediculous. -5pts each day u dont have a calculator!

WORST TEACHER EVER! He looks like a cross between Don vito (from Viva la bam) and a mean version of Peter Griffin! He is so RUDE and descriminating. Purposely calls on students to embarrass them for not knowing the right answer. He expects you to understand everything and puts you down for asking a question. SERIOUSLY DONT TAKE THIS CLASS..

The terriblest teacher i have met. His class is very hard, he likes to use his own book, which is very different from the class book. He explained everything very poor! A very rude instructor and like to embarrass his students. Don't take his class.

WORST teacher in history. He somewhat enjoys students stress and sadness. Luckily I dropped the class after 2 weeks but the reason for it was that he told me there was no way I could pass the class. DO NOT TAKE HIM!!! He is the worst prof. I have ever encountered. He is rude and he talks about his wife's menopause. He gave an excel assignment that I worked hours on, and he said I have to re do it for an 80% grade because my graphs were off center! I withdrew, do not take him!!!!

The way he teaches is confusing. He only likes to promote himself and his book. It is not wise to take his class.

Would easily go off topic, Believes hes is the best stats teacher ever, would make fun of you if you do not know something on something new, rude, would not give you a grade until the very end of semester. You might as well teach yourself but that won't even help because he uses his own formulas/symbols.

He can be rude and condescending. He admits to teaching in a way nobody else does and if you don't get it, to reference the book which is different. He then expects you to show work HIS WAY ONLY, otherwise you will get a ZERO even if your answer is correct. I think he tries to be helpful, but his actions show otherwise.

If you want to have a terrible semester and not learn anything at the end of it, I'd recommend taking this class.

I think he creates a hostile work environment for a lot of students. I've actually heard him mock students, that doesn't seem too professional and I'm in the process of filing a formal complaint.

Worst professor I have ever had the displeasure of taking. Tests are not like the homework at all, he has the attitude that you better suck it up and deal with it because you need it for other classes. Well, I barely passed his class, went on to Math 96 and got an A.

This was by far the worst professor I've ever had in my life. His classes are boring, his teaching methods are useless and confuse you even more. He gives very irrelevant examples. Nothing he teaches makes any sense... DON'T TAKE HIM IF YOU WANT TO LEARN SOMETHING

He doesn't teach any of the formulas from the book and his lectures are reminiscent of high school level math classes. I stopped showing up after realizing his lectures didn't help with homework or tests. If you are stuck with him, just read the book, go to the math lab, and watch youtube videos about statistics. You'll be better off. I promise.

Worst math teacher I've ever had. Tries to teach you his weird way of thinking instead of just teaching the math. Homework counts for over 30% of your grade. He acts like the whole class is review and makes people feel stupid when they ask for help. Never has an organized plan and just chooses problems from the book to do on the board.

This subject is pretty hard itself but this teacher does not help any in making it clear and easy. I was struggling through out the semester. I do not recomment this class. He is a nice person with a good heart but his way of teaching is not for college level. he is confusing sometimes.

I dropped this professor he is a very poor educator. They are supposed to INSPIRE! His theory on teaching is I show up, I teach, and I must be doing a good job so long as 80% of the class understands. And the 20% who don't should prepare better, see him in his nonexistent O-hours. He writes and speaks way to fast. And Was told he is TOUGH GRADER!

I ended up dropping this class because I did not enjoy the classroom environment. If you asked a simple question he would make you feel dumb. After grading tests he lets A's leave first, then B's then C's and Then below would be last. So everyone could see who got what grade. That's not the kinda learning environment I would want to be in.

The professor was very sloppy when writing problems out on the board. At times he doesn't finish solving the problem. He doesn't explain the material comprehensively. He makes you feel dumb when you ask questions. The textbook that was used had multiple errors on homework answers. I only passed this class last Fall 2016 b/c I took pre-cal in HS.

Worst professor I have ever had! He had a very weird way of teaching that makes the material very confusing, and if you ever had any questions or did not understand something he would bring you down for it and would make you feel dumb. Overall it was a really bad learning environment to be in.

Also, I got this teacher by chance since they switched out my original teacher with this guy. I was stuck with him and had no other option but to take him.

All he does it makes everyone look stupid when they ask questions. We had a lot of people withdrawing from the class because his way of teaching is hard to understand. He will always say this should be a review for you why do you guys not understand?. I hate going to his class everyday because I do not learn anything from his lectures.

All he does is solve problems from the book on the board, expecting us to understand since it's "supposed to be review." No office hours and discourages us from asking questions. Lots of homework that he grades extremely hard and every question on a test is worth around 20 points, so miss one and you're already at a B.

Professor Gordon is probably the most confusing and boring teacher ever. He assigns at least 3 homework assignments per class and his lectures make no sense since all he does are problems in the book. His tests are multiple choice and only 15 questions but worth 200 points so if you miss even two problems it could lower you to a B or C.

DO NOT TAKE GORDON! There was only 2 tests and 1 final. All were between 15-20 questions that was worth 300 points all multiple choice. If you missed 2-3 problems would bump you down to an automatic B or C. He does not use canvas, everything is on paper. He doesnt allow questions and will tell you that you are stupid if you dont understand.
