As a summer ITV course, it was pretty easy. Just read the book and you'll do fine. Prof. Johnson is a great guy; he knows how to make lectures entertaining. Too bad we only met once a week. I would've taken the regular course with him if I had the time.

I took the ITV course in Spring 2004. He was one of the most entertaining professors I've ever had. Just read the book. It was an open-book test and he even mentioned specific questions that will be on the test.

his class is very entertaining, he lets you use your note and textbook on all the test even the final exam, everyone should take him. you can even pass the class if you dont even read the book. just know where the stuff is in the book and you'll pass test

Mr. Johnson is the easiest teacher I've had. All the exams are open book & open note. Basically, there's no need to study very hard for this class to get an 'A'. Just listen to his lecture and read the textbook on the day before the exam day. Then, an 'A' will be yours. That's what I did so far =)

EASY A!! Just go to class, bring your book and all the answers on the test are on the book. Didn't have book for the first 2 test and still averaged an A. Just take some notes and pay attention if you want to make sure you'll get an A. Funny and enjoyable class.

This Clinical Psychologist knows his stuff, yet he is approachable, funny, and a down to earth guy. If you do your reading, then open book tests will be a piece of cake.

Very easy class with m/c tests IF you study. Even though the tests are open book, there is simply not enough time during the testing period to look up the answers. All the answers come from the book, so forget about the stupid videos. Humorous, insightful, and even inspirational stories are an added bonus. ITV course equals fewer requirements.

Dr. Johnson was very funny and laid back type of guy who let his student have a open book test and final, so you know he's cool. So if you want a cool teacher for psychology then he should be your professor.

Open book, open note scantron tests, AND the questions are in the same order as the subjects appear in the book. He says if you don't study, you won't have time to look up all the answers, but that's just what I did and I got an A. Very fun and engaging lectures, I wish I'd taken him during spring or fall just so I could hear more of them.

Johnson is the best. He made this ITV class go by fast and telling humorous jokes which involved learning. Tests are easy and straight from the book. Just for note, he is opposite of Professor K Lee. Lee gives crap while this teacher provides enjoyment in learning.

Winter 2006: If you're a person that doesn't like to read. Then this class isn't for you. Great teacher. Funny guy also. ITS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THAT YOU READ THE CHAPTERS. Despite the fact it's a open book test you will pay the price after you bomb a open book/note test. Take him if you plan to read the text that's for sure. Recommended professor!

I loved Dr. Johnson, one of the best professors, learned a lot, and attendance wasnt that much of a factor, but you do need to read a lot of the stuff out of the book.

I WAS IN THE TOP 5% OF HIS CLASS AND I MISSED AN EXAM(HE DROPS THE LOWEST SCORE). HIS LECTURE WERE AWESOME, HE DID NOT GO BY THE BOOK, HE TALKED ABOUT HIS EXPERIENCES IN THE MEDICAL FIELD. I WAS ENTERTAINED IN EVERY LECTURE.

Took him for Summer 05, got an A in his class. His class is pathetically easy. Just read the book before the test and always put the most logical/simple answer on his scantron.

Absolutely one of the easiest instructors/classes I've taken. Open book everything, and not to mention, the final was a take-home. One thing I didn't like was that he seemed to crack jokes every chance he got. I rarely laughed, but the rest of my class seemed to appreciate his humor. That aside, Dr. Johnson is a fair and interesting instructor.

He is also very funny. I took the ITV class, meets once every 3 weeks or so and he lecuters before the test for answers!

5 tests for 100pts each, 5 essays 25pts each, drops the lowest score, most people get an A in the class. Talk to the TA Kingson, he helps alot when you have problems because it might be hard to contact Dr. Johnson since it is only online but its a great class!

The class was online. Overall it was pretty easy because i read the book and took some notes. If you dont read, then its going to be hard even if you have the book in front of you. So just read it and take notes! (Try to understand, dont guess)

Well what can I say.. took this as an online course.. The essays are rather easy and generally short.. But! the tests are rather hard and require a good amount of studying and note taking on your own.. The class average for a few of the tests with B's and C's.. sometimes even low C's.. If you have time, take this course and look at ALL details.

This class can be hard because it is basically all online but if you stick with it, you will do fine. The TA is usually pretty helpful and helps for most of the class. I am not sure how else to put this but it should be easy if you can just do the work. he drops the lowest test and essay ghrade so it really helps if you mess up somewhere

WOW! This is the best class ever. I thought it would be hard since it was all online and all but his assistant kingston goes out of his way to help you understand the materials to be successful and understand exactly what to study for on the test. Johnson might be retired but is still teaching. Take him while you still can. just 5 1-pg essay/tests

Kingson basicallly runs this class, go to him for anything, Dr Johnson basically just does the essay. They are both good and is a easy call to pass as long as you do what is required

Took online class. very easy textbook was use to read the text but you can find info easily online. Got a B could have got an A if I got 10 more points on the last test. All test ate multiple choice online and he gives outline, summary, the website eduspace he uses is very useful. Tons of acitivites, helps, and more I suggest you take him if you need an easy class to get rid of. If you are a psych major I suggest you to go to a lecture inclass because you will learn more for psych 21 or w/e!

Absolutely LOVED his class. It was so easy and your entire grade is based on 5 open book exams with the lowest grade dropped. On top of that, Dr. Johnson is hilarious. We only met 6 times and he made learning at 8am on a Friday extremely enjoyable.

Great Psychology Instructor. Class is easy. Just do the assigned reading and pass 4 out 5 multiple choice test and youll pass his class. Highly recommend him to students who need to get Psychology 001 out of the way.

Professor Johnson is probably one of the funniest professors I've had. His lectures are great but if you want to pass the test you need to bring/ read the textbook. TAKE HIS CLASS! I took his online class and we only met a couple times throughout the semester to take tests. His class is an EASY A, if you read/go over the chapters you WILL pass! We had 2-3 weeks to read 2 chapters! He gave 5 tests and each test was only on 2 chapters, even the final! ALL TESTS ARE OPEN BOOK AND THE LOWEST TEST SCORE IS DROPPED!

Easy A teacher, open book tests, and most of the questions were just vocab. I recommend taking the TVD class which only meets 5 times and you take a test each time you meet.

This professor was literally super chill about everything, show up, read before each session, I took a ITV class so we only showed up for tests, minimal lecture. Be prepared to read though, the chapters assigned are super long, and can get intimidating. But, don't fret, just highlight, and review and you should be good. His exams are too easy!!!!

Easy A, take him, only four tests and he drops the lowest test score, I missed my midterm still received an A. He's such a funny professor too, we had him at 7 in the morning and he managed to make the class so interesting. I would take him again if I could.

5 50 question multiple choice exams. All answers are straight from the textbook which you can use during the exam. The only thing that may hinder you from getting an A on every test is the time limit. The exams are for the two assigned chapters. Honestly easy A. TAKE HIM.

Pros - no homework - Exam every meeting ( meeting is once every 3 weeks) - Open book (not open laptop) exams (straightforward from notes) - he is pretty hilarious and very passionate about his lectures. - extra credit is by attending workshop (10 pts for 1 hr workshop)

My favorite teacher from this year. He's hilarious. We had a test every two weeks on 2 or 3 sections of the book. You'll get an A as long as you read the sections. Take notes and highlight key terms and important details. All test are open book:)

Cool guy. Basically an independent studies class so study and you will easily pass the class. Wish he curved grades though, I got an 89.5% so my final grade is a B. But it is cool though it is my fault for slacking off in the beginning. Lesson Learned.

Simple and straight-forward class. 5 Tests, but drops 1 test so do well on first 4 and skip the last. He does offer EC that will help your grade, but don't rely on it. Tests are open book and there are about 4-6 questions from videos you watch online. To get the easy A, read the book before the test and know the layout and content of each chapter.

Pretty easy class overall. 5 tests total with the lowest one dropped. Also 20 points extra credit offered throughout the semester. The tests are easy and straight-forward. Besides, notes and book are allowed during the semester. A solid choice to fulfill GE requirement tho!!

He was really good and funny. But there was only six classes to attend to. You basically have to study and teach yourself the material and then theres a big test the times you do go to class but you do review first. You will receive a passing grade if you really apply yourself and STUDY!

Dr. Johnson's psychology course is a pretty straightforward course where it's graded only based on 5 examinations. The examinations themselves are easy as long as one puts in the time in watching the education videos and reading the assigned chapters. Really nice guy and allows notes to be used during the exams. Professor Johnson was an easy and chill class. Most were graded by the TA. Learned a lot about psychology in his class. Just take his class trust you won't regret it.
