Very good teacher. Provides outlines, lectures from outline. Very knowledgeable and can even speak and write in Chinese. Tests are papers that you write about a topic she gives and then you write 4 out of 5 id's she gives you. very good!!!!
Horrible class! It was boring, it was the most difficult class for me to FORCE myself to go to. Her "essay tests" are 5-7 page papers that she grades ridiculously. I worked hard and could barely get a B on them. She's annoying when she tries to be funny and she assumes you have some background knowledge. Way too much note taking. Dont take it!
Good teacher, you have to take a lot of notes but she makes it pretty easy to keep up, and she explains things well. She's nice and kinda funny, you take two easy map quizzes that you just have to pass (and you can take them however many times you need). Other than that it's all the tests, which aren't too bad. Not sure if she'll curve at the end.
If you like essay tests, this is a great class. She expects a lot of detail in her tests. Kinda harsh grader, I thought I had a great essay, and I got a B-. We also have to identify 3 concepts from a list, not difficult, she simply grades harshly.
This class was pretty interesting. There are 4 tests (no final) which consists of writing an essay and defining 3 terms. they aren't bad if you have been to class or have read the book. she gives you outlines and goes through the topics thoroughly. good teacher and you learn alot!
Wonderful teacher. The essays on tests only take 2 pages at most! shes also very helpful
She is very knowledgable and will help you with any questions. her tests are defining terms in paragraphs so about 3 pages altogether. You should attend class to know what to study and you do need to study for tests. There is a lot of note taking but I think it is a pretty good history class
Easy class. Lots of notes but easy to follow. Tests are all "essay" format but all you have to do is write a paragraph defining 10 different terms from the notes. If you take good notes you won't have to study much. I wouldn't skip more than one class a week she reviews terms before each new lesson. easy easy easy class! def take this one!
Very knowledgeable teacher. i am not a smart student and i got a b, but i did go to class almost every day. As long as you go to class and study before test you should get a b, but a's are hard to get. She is a good teacher though and if you go in for help she grades you easier.
Fairly moderate class. Keeps going off topic and makes it difficult to take notes. Don't miss class
I was not interested in history before this class and im less interested now. I had this class at 8AM and it was not fun. She does all lecturing and her powerpoints only have the main points so you really have to listen and be in class. not recommended unless interested in the subject
She is probably the hardest graded that I have ever run into here at ISU. I would avoid her if possible.
Prof. Kennedy is a great teacher. Easy grader. and offers extra credit. What more could you want from a teacher?
i hated this class. professor kennedy is rude and condescending. she rambles on and on so you have to speed write your notes and the tests are pretty hard. definitely too hard for a gen ed and for the record, she does NOT offer extra credit.
I thought that this class was a little difficult for a gen ed, but we are in college, also she Really seemed to know what she was talking about, which is always nice. the only thing is that she talks so fast and that there are no powerpoints so you have to write everything that she says overall average class
Avoid this teacher at all costs. I thought the class would be easy, but I was mistaken. She expects you to read e-reserves and harps on you if you don't. I honestly have learned nothing from her except that I would never take a class from her again. She does not give out extra credit. The only opportunity she gives is by turning in four blue books
Good teacher who enjoys her job. Goes through a lot of material but if you go to class you'll do just fine. She's extremely knowledgable and always willing to help.
This class was easy, she gives everything you need to receive an A. Don't have to read e-reserves or the book, her lectures are enough. She DOES give extra credit. Turn in blue books and a movie review: long list to choose from. She is very helpful, gives you the essay questions before exam, and the tests are not difficult. 4 tests/4 10 pt quizzes
Mrs. Kennedy is a really good teacher. Knows what she's talking about. Will give help if you ask for it. Tests are really hard. 20-25 multiple choice and an essay question (1-1 1/2 pages mandatory). Attend class and participate and you'll get on her good side. HATES people who show up late. Take good notes and you'll do well.
Kennedy is a great teacher. Although she moves through lecture notes quickly, if you go to her office hours she will do anything she can to help you succeed. There are 4 tests and 4 papers; the papers are challenging, but she does not hesitate to help you if you approach her.
Definitely recommend her for those 104 courses. I was not looking forward to the class at all, but at least she made it tolerable. I learned more than what I expected and she made it interesting. Don't have to read the books, as her lectures cover everything. Tests are not difficult as long as you go to class. Grades the papers hard though
Had no interest at all to take this class but I actually learned a lot and didn't mind going! Defiantly go to lecture and start the papers early so she can help you. The books helped clear up things that I missed in lecture and they were helpful with the papers too!
She was really helpful and she really cares. Go to class, take good notes, and so the online readings(Which are very short) and you'll get an A. It's a fairly easy and very interesting class!
I loved this class! It's an easy B, but if you work for it you can get an A. YOU HAVE TO GO TO CLASS. Her tests are all lecture based. If you actually pay attention you will have no problem getting an A. Also, don't text in her class because she calls people out without even flinching. Very helpful during office hours
She is a great teacher that really cares about her students. Tests can be a little difficult, but are okay if you study. Attendance is mandatory and she hates cell phone use in her classroom. She is very helpful with questions, especially if you visit her office hours.
You MUST attend class to obtain notes. The exams are a little difficult, and she can be a hard grader on the essays. Go to class, ask for help if needed! She really cares about her students and will do her best to help you! She made learning about East Asia tolerable!
Go to class. No exceptions. If you don't go to your classes don't take her. That being said you also might want to drop out of college too. There's only tests, so if you're a bad test taker.... Drop out. Orrrrrr study harder. The multiple choice is easy but the written essay she grades hard on and it's hard to get a handle on what she wants.
You have to go to class every day in order to do well. That being said she is an awesone teacher. Go to her office hours if you need help and she'll gladly assist you. Tests are multiple choice with a short essay, not very difficult if you study a bit. I would recommend her to others.
Attend every class. That is how to get the best notes for the class and it is really hard to understand everything otherwise. The tests are hand written. She gives you five topics and then you write about four and then a shot essay. She's really nice too and offers extra credit.
You have to go to class to get notes, you don't really have to do all the reading, I didn't buy the book. I just used the copy from the library. If you take good notes you won't need the book. You can get an easy B but if you work for it you can get an A.
Professor Kennedy was a great professor! She is so helpful but you have to go to her for help, she can't read your minds. This is not a class that you can skip if you want to pass. Just go to class and take notes and you'll be golden for the exams. She made East Asia more appealing to me.
Professor Kennedy was a wonderful professor. Her lectures are well-organzed, and she is clear on what she expects of her students. She offers numerous extra credit opportunities, and is always available when you need her for help. Her tests are hard, but you can tell she cares a lot about what she teaches. I recommend her class to anyone!
Difficult class - nothing unmanageable for a History major, but I would probably avoid this class for a Gen Ed. Seems knowledgeable about her subject and makes class interesting. Tests are essentially all essays.
Her notes are not very organized. She puts bullet points in her slides and then talks for 20 mins. Hard to keep up. Her tests are annoying. Theres an essay every test and it is worth more than the multiple choice.. Hard class that I would not take again.
If you're really into history you will do well in this class. Must go to class in order to do well though as her notes are only guidelines that she explains in depth. Overall I enjoyed the class and very easy to get a B in with a little effort.
If you come to class and pay attention you will get an A. Tests are difficult and 60% of the test is an essay question that she basically outlines in class. Makes class interesting and is very passionate about the topic. I wish she could teach all my courses. Such a nice lady
Professor Kennedy is very passionate about her teaching. Lectures can get somewhat boring and you need to take good notes. Tests consist of 20 MC questions worth 2 points each and an essay worth 50 points (she gives you the essay question at least a week in advance). She says that it's up to you if you want to come to class, but I'd recommend going
She's really passionate about this subject. If you go to lecture and simply take good notes, then you'll pass with no problem. Not sure how people willingly don't come to class, because it can actually be sort of interesting. Only 4 tests, 2 quizzes, and extra credit. I would recommend this class for a gen ed.
She is so passionate about the subject and you can tell by going to her lectures. I never bought the book but I went to all of her lectures and did really well. The tests were multiple choice and essay. It was a little difficult to find what she was looking for on the essay portion but overall its a good course and I would recommend it for a gen ed
She's very laid back, and caring. She doesn't seem to care if you attend class or not, or if you leave early. However, every exam is based solely off of her lectures, so it would be beneficial to attend. Overall, it is a boring subject, but she's very upbeat and excited to teach which helps make the class enjoyable.
She offers extensive EC at the start of class and gives you all semestwr to do it. Lectures are really easy to follow but you have to listen to catch all of the notes (she doesnt have a specific powerpoint).
Super passionate, nice lady. Exams are 50 points essay, 40 points (20 questions) multiple choice. You can do well on the multiple choice pretty easy as long as you got to class, the essays can take some prep but you can do well in her class, would recommend!
She is passionate about the material she is teaching and it shows. Fairly straightforward, big lecture hall type class, but still interesting.
This teacher has the worst lecture I have ever sat through! There are no notes on powerpoint slides, it is 100% a verbal lecture. Half the information she talks about doesn't even show up on the exam. If you need to take a history class, strongly advise against this professor.
Dr. Kennedy is a good professor, she made a particularly boring class kind of interesting and she understood that not everyone was a history major. She had a lot of class discussions and a few movie reviews that were worth most of the points as well as two papers. Plus, she's pretty hot in a cougar sort of way.
Awesome teacher awesome class loved every class
Her class is all verbal. Her powerpoint just shows the topic & then she explains it all verbally. What bothered me most is she doesn't realize that she talks too fast for us to take all her notes down. Weekly quizzes are 5 questions that are two points each. 3 essays total. She's anal about cellphones SHE HATES THEM AND WILL CALL U OUT if ther out
She refused to bump me up to a C by 3 points, thats right three points, and I even did extra credit but she only gave me a point for extra credit assignment. She grades extremely hard on essays too.
Awesome teacher. You can tell shes incredibly passionate about the subject. Really interesting class. Id take it again easily.
Easy class. No exams what so ever. A quiz once a week as well as 2 papers due at the end of the semester. Great teacher, great class, a little boring but easy.
You can tell she truly cares about the material. You take 10 points quizzes every week (5 questions) which kind of suck because if you miss 1 question that's a guaranteed 80%. You literally don't ned the book at all btw. Points aren't very scattered. EC adds up quick. Do the assigned readings!! DON'T procrastinate on the papers!!!!
Probably one of the best professors in the university. Super nice and she lets you make up every quiz you missed. Lectures are not so bad because she isn't monotone like almost every professor here.
To get an A in this class, all you really have to do is go to the lectures and pay attention. Weekly quizzes with questions taken straight from the lectures can be tedious, but they're a constant grade booster. There are no exams, and the largest grades come from papers which are easy if you read the rubric. Show up, do the work, and get an A.
We had to do map quizzes of China and Japan and she never discussed these areas during lectures. Her lectures are super long and boring and spends half the time yelling at kids to sit in the back if they want laptops out. Her notes and teaching style is very unorganized. The only good thing is that hw isn't stressful. Don't take this class.
took Kennedy for his of East Asia, class was interesting, you have to go to lectures if you want to do well. lots of homework but it is not difficult, good prof overall
She's a great teacher but grades extremely hard for this being a gen ed class. I went to every lecture and struggled to get a B because the class is only out of 400 points. She offers extra credit but it takes forever and is only worth a point or two. If you have the option not to take this class, I wouldnt because it required too much work
DO NOT take this class, She treats her very students poorly. She fought with me over email about a mistake she made and then refused to fix my grade until I argued back through several emails. She hates "distractions", yet she will stop everything to yell at you for walking in a minute late, using your phone/laptop or even going to the bathroom.
Hands down the worst professor I've had at ISU. She puts up one slide and then talks (extremely fast) the entire time. Not helpful In a class about a foreign country. Quizzes are on the lectures so if you don't write down everything you'll fail every quiz. She grades hard on essays but gives no rubric or explanation of the grade you received. Awful
This class was the worst class I have EVER taken. If you are looking for an AMALI credit, 100% do not take this one. Since the whole pandemic, this class has been extremely difficult. The amount of homework is unbearable. I have cried multiple nights because of the amount given. If you check the time on your phone or apple watch, you will be reamed
Without a doubt the worst professor I have had at ISU. Before the pandemic forced classes to be online, her class was very lecture heavy. After the pandemic moved classes online, she stopped doing lectures because she "didn't want to." Instead of lecturing, she chose to assign unreasonable amounts of reading and homework.
Really tough grader for a 100 level class. Not very approachable when I had concerns about grades. Only take if you absolutely have to or really like lecture heavy classes.
Dr. Kennedy was a great instructor. She's very lecture-heavy, but she is very lenient and accommodating when it comes to assignments. The weekly quizzes are really not bad as long as you pay attention during the lectures and understand the main ideas. She gives out extra credit opportunities and overall she is a nice lady who loves what she does.
Professor Kennedy is a great lecturer who clearly cares about the material! She is also very understanding and relaxed when it comes to assignments. I got a lot of out her class and the way she structured the online format allows for that understanding to be shown in the grade. I recommend her highly!
Its simple, take Larissa Kennedy. You will read a good amount, however if you want to actually learn about history and the time period this class is about, the readings are super interesting and they wont seem like homework. Her lectures are awesome and she goes in depth into what your learning. The quizzes arent too hard. If HIS major, take her
I loved professor Kennedy's class. There is almost no homework. There are 4 papers total and she goes over each one in great detail and is very helpful. However, there is a lot of material in the course so passing means taking extensive notes.
She is the worse professor I have ever had in my college experience. Not only is unapproachable but she is condescending. I was scared to take her course because of all the negative reviews she has received. Huge Mistake. I promise you, you will be better off if you take ANY other professor than her. She couldn't care less about her students.
I loved Professor Kennedy. I attended every class and she was very fun to listen to. You have weekly quizzes, and she gives study guides for them so you are prepared. She is happy to ask any questions you have, no matter how outside of the box they are. She also makes herself extremely available to talk outside of class about the papers given.
I really appreciated Professor Kennedy. She was lecture heavy and you had to take handwritten notes but the weekly quizzes were short and not hard at all. She gives extended due dates and was very vocal about meeting outside of class if needed. 4 papers, 4 reading responses (like 6-8 sentences each) and quizzes-- NO HW! Loved her.
She seems like such a sweet soul and you can really tell she loves teaching. She gives extended dates for every writing assignment (Reading responses and papers) because she knows life can be hectic. Also, the only homework she gives out is the weekly quizzes, but theyre super short and based on the lecture.
Easy class if you're able to write fast. She is very knowledgeable but lectures too quickly. No exams, just 2 papers. Weekly quizzes are connected with her lectures. She says there's a lot of reading, but I never read the textbook or the resources. Write everything down during lecture, and it can be used for your papers. Overall easy class to pass
Overall the class was not hard and you should be able to get an A on all the assignments. She is a pretty tough grader, especially on the two papers we have to do which makes or breaks your grade. She takes off an unnecessary amount of points on the paper and does not grade it fairly at all. There is no final for this class.
Overall a good professor. She definitely knows what she is talking about. Class is very lecture heavy and in a traditional style, show up and take notes then take the quiz at the end of the week. Overall an easy course. Not much homework, one 5 question quiz every week and an occasional paper. No exams. Note taking is crucial for passing.
So far Larissa is my least favorite teacher at ISU. All of the material learned in this class is useless and even if you attend the class it is still challenging because she goes very fast. Her lectures also are difficult to follow at times and she acts as if we already know the information. I would not recommend taking her.
Pretty much an average class. Awful person though, she won't hesitate to call you out for the smallest things, and is incredibly dramatic at times. Takes everything way too seriously. Go to class, take good notes and you'll be just fine. Don't expect to find anything online on quizlet, everything is custom made by her. Good luck!
Overall Professor Kennedy was really not that bad of a teacher. Her class really just consists of two big papers and as long as you can do well on those you'll be fine. I would recommend going to class because the weekly quizzes are based solely on what she has discussed in class.
She never failed to put me to sleep in class. Her lectures are all over the place and boring but you really should just go and try to listen. Papers and assignments are easy if you go along with her line of thinking. Do the extra credit. She takes off points for the most ridiculous things. She also says she never gives 100% on an assignment.
the class is extremely boring and you have to go because of online quizzes weekly. only 2 papers, which were graded way too hard. You can't have a laptop to take notes only by hand. have no idea why we are forced to take this class in the first place and she expects us to truly care about the subject.
Great professor and I feel like I learned more from her class than most classes I have been in. Only downside is that she does not allow any technology (including computers) making it hard to keep up with notes, as she talks quicker than I can write. In the end, if you attend class and pay attention you should do fine.
Kennedy's class is arranged very simply. You really don't need to buy the textbook if you attend her lectures. A weekly quiz, a few reading responses, and a couple papers make up her class. Beware of papers, as she is surprisingly tough on them.
Beware of handwritten notes! Very lecture heavy so its hard to write it all down and she goes pretty fast, but pretty easy class. 5 question quizzes every week (make sure you go to lecture!), a couple reading assignments, and 2 papers (hard grader!). super super easy, just really boring lecutre.
It is very important to go to lecture cause quizzes are based off this & no exams !
Professor Kennedy's lectures were really fast-paced but very entertaining. I genuinely learned a lot in the class. If you need to take this as an amali class, I recommend it. You don't need the textbook if you come to the lecture.
Interesting and fast paced lecture, no exams but weekly quizzes that are easy if you go to class. A tough grader for the papers but more lax on the reading responses.
Larissa's class is very lecture heavy, with very little outside word needed to be completed. As long as you keep your pencil moving (she doesn't allow technology) during lectures, you'll be golden for the weekly 5 question quizzes. There were also two big essays throughout the course, but they weren't too bad.
The lectures are just her talking for the whole time, and can get very boring at points. She doesnt allow technology, so be ready to take notes by hand. There's 2 papers, 2 reading responses and weekly quizzes that make up your grade, but as long as you have good notes you should be fine. There were also a couple extra credit opportunities
She honestly just wants to talk about herself and her life. She is monotone and will lecture the entire time, trying to force you to sleep (I'm almost positive). She wont let you use your laptop in class because she hates technology so all notes must be done on paper. She is really boring and grades papers HARD. spend time on the assigned papers!!
Professor Kennedy is awesome! Attendance is not mandatory, but I would highly recommend it because there is a quiz every week, and it will be much more closely related to the lectures than to the textbook. There are two papers (not long ones and they aren't research-related) and two reading responses (very short). A wonderful course!
Pretty average professor. Knows her stuff more or less, attendance isn't mandatory. The few assignments she does hand out she grades harshly, but it balances out since she's pretty clear about what she expects and how to get all the points. Lectures are lax but she will absolutely call you out for not doing anything except paying attention.
Her class is very interesting and you can tell she is passionate about what she teaches, however, if you are not great at writing essays about history, I do not recommend her courses. You are graded mostly by a few papers and she grades them harshly. Otherwise, she is fine.
She was super passionate about what she teaches! If you are interested in history, definitely take this course, but if you aren't, then I wouldn't recommend it. This class was a lot of work, and attendance is mandatory for a grade. Very caring teacher!
The quizzes are based on lecture material so you might want to go even though attendance not mandatory. Also super harsh grader on the two essays which are a majority of the grade. The reading responses were pretty easy but you have to do the readings to be alright. You will have to put a ton of effort in outside of class to get a decent grade.
Professor Kennedy is very passionate about what she teaches, & it was nice to learn from someone who enjoys teaching. That said, she's pretty strict. No technology allowed so bring a notebook & pen for notes. VERY lecture-heavy. Grade: weekly quizzes & 2 papers (hard grader). Will get an attitude if you whisper or walk in more than a few min late.
Larissa is flat-out rude and uptight. I'm a history major interested in the material she teaches, but I stopped attending class because of her horrible attitude. Some people are not meant to be in the teaching field and Larissa is one of them. She would be better off behind the scenes in a museum since she can't speak to people with respect.
Larissa Kennedy is a great professor. You will do fine in her class if you attend every lecture and take notes. Quizzes every week, short reading responses, and two papers make up your grade. Laptops are allowed, so taking notes is easier. She is very lenient and allows an extra week to do assignments with no penalty.
Prof. Kennedy is passionate and knowledgeable about Chinese history, so if that is your thing I would recommend this class! It is very participation-heavy and you will have a lot of reading each week. Three papers and she is a very difficult grader too, but there are enough other grades in the grade book where your grade isn't riding on the papers.
Professor Kennedy is a VERY harsh grader! Do the extra credit whenever possible because it will help your grade in the end. Pay close attention during lectures because the quiz questions are usually pretty detailed. If you show up to lectures and listen to the guidelines you should be able to get a decent grade!
Larissa is rude and only cares about herself, one of the worst professors I've had at ISU. She thinks just because she's a professor she's god or something. You can do everything right but still manage to get B in the class because she makes her quizzes so extra, and grades the papers she assigns extremely rough. so mad I took this class -100/10
Got all A's throughout college in hard math classes and this was the first ever B I got. I turned in papers early because she said she would give constructive feedback, she gave me a 75% when it was worth 25% of the grade and her feedback was "First paragraph is wrong." That was it. Also extremely boring, doesn't allow ANY technology, only paper.
I have never been more stressed for a class than HIS 276 with Professor Kennedy. The reading assignments are difficult and confusing, she grades harshly and will not help when you ask for it. Her feedback is confusing and she does not elaborate. I would highly recommend taking a different class with a different professor
Professor Kennedy is unprofessional when it comes to critiquing your papers. She responded with "No" throughout the papers, which was worth 35% of our grade. Besides that, your grade is dependent on your participation in group discussions. I would not recommend her class, ISU offers a lot better classes and teachers than she can offer.
The max grade you can get for the weekly homework comes with penalties. She refuses to give full credit, highest grade is a 9.5/10. This affects your grade by about 2%. Very tough grader, gives snarky comments that don't even make sense. Just thinks she's better than everybody else and acts like people don't have other classwork to do.
She is rude in everything she does. Notes make no sense, be ready to intently listen for an hour and a half. No you cannot record her when she goes fast, she made that very clear. No electronics, you have to write absolutely everything she says. Don't come in late, she will embarrass you and make snarky comments. Just a cold person in general.
Professor Kennedy is extremely well versed in her subject. Her East Asian History class is very lecture-heavy, and I ended up buying the book but not needing it. She has weekly quizzes that are only over what is discussed in class. As long as you take notes and show up, everything is fairly easy. She's a fair grader; her expectations are clear.
This is for all History majors. Take her class, she is EXTREMELY knowledgeable. Although the lectures can be long and fast paced, they are full of information, and she is willing to explain info if needed. She demands respect, but it's for a good reason, she loves to teach and is fantastic at it. Get to know her outside of class, she is very kind.
Larissa can be a tough grader, but if you stay engaged and use resources like Unstuck AI for study prep, you can do well. Attend lectures, complete assignments, and you'll likely come out with a solid grade. Not an easy A, but worthwhile if you put in the work.
All I have to say is good luck. Don't even think about bringing your phone out in class. I would take another class if you had the option.
I took this class Spring 2024, and Professor Kennedy is very passionate! As a history major, I found her lectures particularly enjoyable, as they almost felt like a story being told. Attendance, assigned reading, and discussion participation are essential to doing well, but participation does not require very much talking. 2 papers. Loved it all!
Anyone complaining about Professor Kennedy's attitude or no-technology policy has no understanding of basic classroom etiquette. All she asks for is basic respect, yet people complain when she asks that you just pay attention. Lecture easy to follow, readings quick. I didn't use the textbook, just the readings she posted. 2 papers. Loved it!
I see why people don't like her, but I personally loved her. As long as you follow her rules (no tech), then you'll be completely fine. However, little to no homework, don't buy the book. I never once read it, and I passed with a good grade. Take good notes because that's what the test is over and she doesn't give a study guide which kinda sucks.
I want ANY AND ALL students to understand to never ever take Larissa, Kennedys class. She has no respect for people yet wishes for the most respect in the world. Its 2025 and she refuses to have cell phones out I mean she will say something if she sees it sitting on your desk. Dont take her pls dont. Not only that theres 5 things in the gradebook!
Definitely not an easy course. Take any other HIS class but this. You go to a lecture, handwrite notes for like 6 weeks, and then have a written exam over only the lecture. 3 exams, 1 short writing assignment. The exam consists of 4 terms that you have to write 8 sentences on, and 1 term you have to write 5 paragraphs. no other grades
Was the most passive aggressive professor I have ever had. Would go out of her way to interrupt the class to prove her point. Study guides are just your notes you take from her 30 page long slides she switches every 20 seconds. Just run.
loved east asia and got an a in the class! this class is lecture heavy but you only have to meet twice a week. she tells you all of the potential questions that are going to be on the test and its super easy if you take notes during class. she also has class discussion to talk about what potential responses can be on essays. would def recommend!
DO NOT TAKE! Tests are hard because she doesn't post a study guide and it's all writing based with a closed-book essay portion. You can only handwrite notes, as she bans tech use. Feedback on assignments wasn't constructive and she was rude at times. The only positive is that a little extra credit is offered. Harder than it needed to be.
Do not take her! She would rather see you fail her class then “cheat” and pass even when you aren't cheating anything is considered cheating to her. Only has 3 test for the whole year and no study guide just 3 weeks of notes than a test on something she hasn't spoken or talked about since the beginning of the chapter. She can also be very rude.
She's a pretty brutal professor, and I wouldn't recommend taking her if you aren't great with lectures and note taking. Her grade book is 95% test and a short writing assignment that is 5%. Tests are writing a long essay by hand about a vague question with very specific answers. A lot of the test material comes from the beginning of her classes.
