Very easy to pass. I easily got an A. As long as you go to class and do the assignments on time you will do fine. He cares about students and their success. Overall a really great experience.

Professor Crombie was by far the best teacher I've came across! Lets you turn in late work up until the final. Extra credit opportunities GALORE. He's funny and understandable. Doesn't care about attendance. Class was extremely easy, he will force you to get an A or better.. literally ;)

Professor Crombie was great. The only possible way you will fail this class would have to be because you broke your toes & fingers and couldn't even send an email regarding your whereabouts. It isn't an easy A but you must be prepared to write. Gives lots of EC opportunities and a chance to turn in all late work at end of semester.

Professor Crombie is the best. He gives phenomenal feedback on your papers and is willing to help you with anything. He also gives really good handouts like on how to write a research paper and a works cited that will help you throughout college. Definitely take him if you want to learn and want an A.

He's always telling long stories and sometimes goes off on a tangent during the lecture. He has class all the time, especially when its uneccesary.

Professor Crombie is an amazing teacher, he explains everything so well that it is impossible to fail any assignment. He also gives several extra credit opportunities through out the semester. It was definitely the easiest 6 week class I could have taken. Attendance is optional in his fall and spring semesters. But mandatory in summer.

Crombie is an ecstatic teacher! There are a few papers, but they're easy then there's a research paper that he usually grades hard on. Quizzes every other wk on a story you read, SO EASY. He also gives you a chance to revise a paper. Overall, he's a great teacher and really knows how to break things down to a simpler concept. An easy A for sure!

Professor Crombie is the coolest professor i've ever had and i've been to 3 colleges so far. He is so understanding of personal things (being sick, flat tire, family emergencies). He makes class interesting and is hilarious. 3 main assignments, no mid term or final. I turned in something 3 weeks late he gave me full credit

Professor Crombie is in two words - the bomb! This man's teaching technique is so different from your typical professor and it WORKS. He definitely cares about his students and I must admit I am now a much better writer because of taking his class. He is VERY helpful, understanding, hilarious, and I would definitely take him again if I could.

If you fail the final exam for this class do yourself a favor and stop going to college and focus yourself on something else!

Crombie is a great teacher, we do go off on some stories from time to time, but he gets done what needs to be done. is truthful, and shows you exactly what he wants from you. Gives good amount of extra credit and even tells you the days when to show up to get it. He is very knowledgeable about the topics covered. I would defiantly take him again.

I took professor Crombie during the madness of COVID-19 and I have to say this man is a heaven sent angel. Through distance learning he would message us and tell us how much he missed us all which I think it's so rare and special. He graded fairly and quickly!! Taken him in person!! You will not regret it, he's an absolute gem!

Honestly, I loved this man he was great and funny, his lectures were always good, papers are so very easy, he isn't a tough grader, and you don't have to show up to pass, but he does give a participation grade so yeah. Quizzes are easy just read.

At first he seemed sort of intimidating and I thought he was a little weird; he'd ramble sometimes, and he's make us discuss some controversial topics. Professor Crombie is an interesting character and he makes British Literature more interesting. His approach to teaching is on the casual side. He is available outside of class if you need help. DEFINITELY recommend him.

I love this guy. Where was a teacher like Mr. Crombie when I was in high school. You can tell he cares abut his students ACTUALLY learning and I thoroughly enjoyed his class. A lot of extra credit is offered and he will personally help you with all of your exams so long as you email him before the due date. (5/5)

He's very personable and gives persuasive lectures that allow you to grasp new concepts he's trying to convey to help you become a better writer both for this class and after it. Crombie is one of the best professors at TCC. The writing techniques I learned helped me out my thesis papers later. Flexible with essay topics, even lenient on deadlines (long as he knows you're doing your best). Quite patient too, even with a slacker like me who failed 1102 previously.

Probably the best English teacher there is. He is very passionate about teaching and gives very good lectures. He also likes giving lots of good feedback and he will make you a good writer if you listen to him.

Wonderful professor, never failed to make class interesting and fun, yet never lacking in information. He clearly knew and was passionate in what he taught and gave incredible feedback. He was very understanding of other classes taking up inordinate amounts of time and was always willing to help you one on one, and even extend due dates to help us.

The class itself was easy. Some days are lecture days and others are in-class workdays, which is helpful because we had little to no homework. Assignments are easy to complete and pass, he allows revisions on all assignments so there's no reason you shouldn't have an A. Provides several extra credit opportunities. The class is just a few essays.

Professor Crombie was honestly a sweetheart. He was very understandable and very lenient when it came to assignments. Only did 3 essays the whole semester and the essays are very easy and he gives you a lot of leeway with the way you can write them. His lessons can get very boring if you are in a class that is less chatty but I enjoyed it.

He is an amazing professor that loves his job. He does like talking so sometimes it can be difficult to focus but just try to listen the best you can. Honestly just show up to class and you should pass as long as you turn things in. There are a few essays but not difficult and well timed and explained. I definitely recommend taking this class.
