This professor is the type you wish taught the rest of the BUS required classes! He is caring, funny, and full of energy. His exams are long but super easy if you follow what he literally tells you to focus on. There's never a dull moment, even if the material can be very simple or sometimes boring he always manages to crack a few jokes or relate it somehow to his personal life. It's nice to meet professors that really love to inspire others or better yet want to see students succeed not only in the class but outside of class too.

By far the best Professor I have had! Prof. Edwards has an amazing personality. He is very experienced and knows what he is talking about. Attendance is important in his class. Home work is not over-whelming and straight forward. There are 4 exams (including final) and he drops one. Most importantly, he cares about his students and their success.

Professor Larry Edwards is great, his online class is dynamic and interesting. The textbook is free and very good. This semester we had to create an ad for this class. The class includes many assignments and quizzes, 1 research paper and 2 big tests worth 300 points each. For this tests it is important to study hard. I highly recommend him!

Unfortunately he only teaches three courses at NOVA. I took his BUS 100, his MKT 201 and planning on taking his BUS 270. His lectures break down everything you need to learn and makes it fun. I took a 7-week course so of course I had a lot of homework stacked up but its manageable just don't be lazy ! he's a complete fair grader and he's super interactive with students I suck at school so If I can do this so can anybody else also do the reading make time and study!

The class was super organized, and the material was clear and understandable. When I had a question or need guidance from Professor Edwards, I would receive feedback in a split second. Assignments were explained, and the time allowed for their completion was reasonable.

Exams are not open book, however I will tell you that as a person who has had several problems with 7-week courses, Professor E. does make the course load seem very simple. All you have to do is study 6 VLR's (Video Lecture Recordings) 2-3 times a day, then be on your way to study as the worksheets (not graded) may have similarities to the exam.

Prof Edwards is one of the best marketing teachers. I took an online self-paced class and wish I took his class in person or zoom. He's chill and laid back and wants you to succeed. He has good feedback and tells you what needs to be improved. There was quizzes for each chapter, 1 midterm and 1 exam. Barely any discussions, mainly assignments.

For an online class, you could really tell he cared about his students and wants them to do good in their class. He gives you good feedback and is very flexible with deadlines which can be very helpful if you have a hectic work-school balance (like me). Overall, I will definitely see if I can take him again for any future classes!

I came into this class thinking it was going to be tough, but he proved me wrong! The class was very easy and understandable. You can see that he definitely wanted you to pass the class and was really commenting and giving feedbacks to every work submitted. Personally, do not hurt yourself and take this man, because he is HIM.

This professor was very organized and precise. He was super funny and I bombarded him with emails. The format is very unique and honestly its really fun to have a different approach to education. Participation is added into the grade, so attendance matters.

For a summer class, it was one exam almost every week but it was easy points.

Prof. E is GREAT! All of his lectures are recorded- allowed me to watch them on my own time- Great as I work. I even listened to them like a podcast. Then we meet on Zoom to go over worksheets, answer questions, talk business (or life in general). Exams are not easy but doable if you do the work (worksheets are the key). Definitely recommend!!

Professor E. Is pretty chill. He gets you ready for the test and the class is not that long probably about 1 hour. He has pre-record lectures or VLRs for us. Also he provides quizlet terms that are very helpful.

Pre-recorded lectures (VLR's) are provided, Case studies are the only homework you need to do, lowest exam score gets dropped, zoom lectures are not too long they are short and super concentrated, worksheets are the key for success in exams.

Amazing professor, I would 100% take him at least for BUS100, I hope to have him for other courses. Overall not a hard course with him at all, he gives great feedback and is open to opinions during discussions.

10/10 professor. He posted all of his slides and explained the slides in depth through his VLRs. He taught about 3 classes but the class is taught mostly through his VLRs, so I highly recommend you watch them. Also working on the worksheets after you watch the VLRs also help you study for exams.

Professor Edward was very kind and helpful. I took a seven week course i though it was going to be hard but it was actually quite easy. I had one assigment due every sunday, you do a lot of reading but its very easy and straight to the point. He was also very easy to contact he will respond fast and will help you with any issues you may have.

Professor Edwards has great energy with teaching, you will be engaged. He makes sure his students are succeeding. Pretty quick 7 week course but learned a lot but useful information. The week before an exam he would do a review and it would help a lot.

I took Prof.E seven week course and it was very good. All the lectures were made into videos which were very easy to understand and easy to access. There is lots of opportunities to earn extra credit and be sure to do the worksheet for each video lecture because they will definitely help you a lot in the exams. Definitely would recommend Prof. E

I took prof Edwards during the pandemic. He had all the video lectures online so it's easy to control the work. His tests were average. There were case study assignments. We discussed business cases every week.

Get ready to prepare for the world outside, and he will help with that.

Prof E. was so chill I wish I had taken BUS 100 w/ him as well. He did not give a lot of homework and was very flexible with students. He taught from his personal experience, which I think is very valuable! The exams were easy - KNOW YOUR TERMS! lol Instead of a final, we had to create resumes, cover letter, and mock interviews. He tells you to get a textbook, I didnt and got an 93% in the class. However I also was a working student and my career is in Ops Mgmt, so a lot of if not nearly all of the concepts presented in the class were very understandable for me. If you're attending with zero knowledge you'll be fine as long as you study his presentations and attend class.

In each class, they make sure to give us detailed feedback and explain the grading criteria, which helps us understand what's expected. This was a 7-week course that went by very fast. You will take 4 test, and he drops the lowest grade. Lectures are very informative plus he provides links to access all of his VLR's (Video Lecture Recording's). Professor Edwards will provide study guide worksheets and a list of all the terms for each chapter. I really enjoyed this class.

This was the first class I took for my business program, and I loved it! He sends weekly announcements and encourages the class. I absolutely loved this class, and it really got me into business because of it. I had a great experience in this class, take this professor!

Best class I have every taken. Professor Edwards lays out everything perfectly. Very exam heavy but if you study and do the worksheets you will be great. Also always remember to study your terms! Everything is on your own pace which helps make your life easier. If you love marketing, Professor Edwards is your guy. I would 100% recommend.

The proffesor is supper accesible, it was good because he tried to cover of the topics and it was very easy to understand it, he also provide good review for the test (The review is very similar to the test), try to memorize the vocabulary.

Amazing professor, He really cares about his students. His VLR's are very interesting to watch and very well explained. His homework isn't hard just goes based on the VLR's, he grades in a timely manner. He put out resources for studying and if you ever reach out to him he will respond quickly. This professor was great I only got a C+ because I was fine with just passing. (C's get degrees!) He offered a lot of opportunities for extra credit on exams and overall participation. He gave great video lectures. Make sure you know your terms, those come up a lot on exams! Also he gives study guides and quizlet flash cards, great study material.

Would take this professor again; he teaches the subject well and doesn't throw so much information at you. I also enjoyed his discussions and friendly debates on real-world topics and current events. Everything in the course is pretty easy to finish, and I can usually get it done in half an hour. The exams are sometimes a bit challenging.

He likes to intertwine stories with the lessons to make the lectures more interesting, which I found very engaging. He explains everything clearly and concisely and expects you to do the same on exams. What he teaches is what he assesses on, so if you study the material on the powerpoints, you are good to go.

He is probably one of the best professor I've had in nova. Exams are short answers but he gives us a quick review a week before just know your terms and study and you will be good. Our zoom classes are great, the lectures he recorded are very helpful and I can study any time I want , as well as exams which if you prepare for, you will definitely pass and get a good great.
