Took this class online, so easy! I love the way the professor has his website set up, as well as the class. He uses the same format for all his classes. He's a really great instructor; passionate and geeky about his field, and he makes it fun! He's easy to understand and he's always there to help.

Oh My Gosh this professor totally Kicks ass! He doesn't make you buy the book and he has everything online! There isn't a question anyone asked that he could not answer! not only could he answer it but he could answer it in such a way where even the dumbest person could understand! I intend on taking as many classes as I can with him!

Excellent professor. If you get less than an A in his class is because you didin't put forth enough effort. Class is simple and everything is online. You can miss as many classes you want and just watch the classroom videos on his site and get all the info for lectures missed. Highly Recommended. Also a great person all around

This professor is AWESOME. He's awesome because he wants you to learn and you can tell he wants you to take something from the class and be able to use it as you move forward. He's totally geeky, he gives some extra credit, but really his class is fairly easy and like everyone else said, he video's his lectures and puts them on his OWN website.

AWESOME professor. The subject is difficult, but the professor teaches you in a way that makes you appreciate and understand the subject. He video tapes his classes so you can find the lectures online. He has is own website which is very helpful. Attend class and watch video or note take on lecture and you will pass the class.

Amazing professor! I can't stop raving about him. He is a dream for a visual-style learner- is always doing drawings on the board, etc. I loved that he had all lectures online for review and had a quiz every week first thing. Very difficult class to take online. Don't do it. The tests are made, honestly, more for biology majors than us just having to meet a requirement. Tough as anything. Scores for mid term for the group was 19 and final was 22. How's that for hard! If there is a better teacher, go for it...

He loves what he does. You have to turn in a compendium book that is a review book for points rewarded on the test. The test is very hard and very tricky. No review for what is on the test. He just says to review lectures and powerpoint. He does give extra credit. But it is frustrating to get a low score on your test when you study really hard.

This professor is awesome, anatomy is a hard class but he is very good explaining, he has his own website with everything you need for class, including videos from class so if you miss a day you can watch the videos at home, gives you plenty of extra credit opportunities, you do need to to study, i got an A

I took this class online via virtual college the midterm and final are proctored, there is the opportunity for extra credit. He is a great professor and I really enjoyed his course.

He is a wonderful teacher. He loves to teach and is serious about you knowing what you want to do, especially any students in the medical field. The class subject is a lot of material but he does wonders explaining. He draws on the board and lets you do extra credit which helps on your exams. I would recommend him to everyone.

Amazing professor! I have not seen a more dedicated professor in MDC. For an Anatomy class, wouldn't ask for no other. I took both courses with him and was pleased throughout the whole semester. He loves what he does and cares about students who really want to be someone in life. Take him, if you are dedicated. Book not required.

If you do not have a strong medical background or knowledge, this class will be a challenge for you. Took part 1 and 2 mini terms, got an A on lectures and labs but a lot of students dropped out in the 1 mini term only 6 people of the 30 went to the 2 mini term. You will build a good medical fundamentals but if you can look for someone easier.

Get ready to study. I took 2 mini terms (2 X 8 weeks) a lot to study in a short period of time. First pass so far with A, not sure about the second part yet, will see in December :) . My suggestion - if you want to pass with good grade choose someone else, this one will be a challenge!

This class is not easy ,the effort you put in determines your grade, professor offers extra credit do them big help with your final grade he is very helpful with questions you may have about the course

Midterm and Finals are tough. No review. You are able to review your quizzes the next day which I recommend.

A lot of material but his extra credit assignments are savers, very helpful but delays responding questions. He gives you feedback about your progress but you have to ask and show interest, he helped me passing the course with very low grades and the extra credit saved my semester!

Great teacher. Makes you understand. Every class a quiz, 3 exams. Labs: quiz every lab. Do not take short term semester if taking other classes or do not have a background. If you want to get strong basics for the future medical career - strongly recommend him as a teacher; you will learn anatomy well.

He's the best professor i had last year in BSC2085 and this year in BSC2086. He's very clear on the material and he'll give you quizzes but they are so easy when you study or just pay attention to his lectures. He gives extra credit. He class is super easy. I sugguest you go everyday if you want to pass with an A.

Took him for A&P 1, same "format." The material isn't easy, but he makes it easy to learn. He has a passion for this subject and he is a cool guy, too. Took lab online. Good news - there is extra credit. Bad news, some of the assignments have 300-400 questions EACH! No joke, 8+ hours to do just one. Midterm and the final are worth 52% of your grade(26% each). And they were really, really hard. I got an A in the 3 credit class and a B in this lab and I spent 5x as much time on the lab.

This professor is so insightful and compassionate. I took anatomy 1and 2 in one semester with him. I got an A for both lab and lectures. I recommend you taking him with his lab because it's the easiest way to retain the knowledge. If you got a grade other than an A its because you want your grade handed to you. Don't buy the book. He has a website.

This was the second time I took BSC2085L and I must say this professor gets right to the point and let's you know what is on your mid-term and final. He provides optional extra credit on mastering a&p if you choose to buy it and complete 10 assignments with 70% or more he gives you 5% towards final. I would take again. Don't procrastinate is all.

This class was not easy by any means, participation is not only essential, it is detrimental to passing the course. Every time you walk into this class you will have a quiz so be very prepared to be in that classroom accordingly. Professor Frolich is there whenever you need him so there is no excuse, he is fair and accommodating,

I also took him for Anatomy I Lab,he is a great teacher. If you read and follow the syllabus you will pass the lecturer. He requires you to do alot of drawings that are due each class and gives extra credit for you at the end.

I'm in full agreement with others about Professor Frolich's passion for the subject and found it to be contagious, even though I had never expected to enjoy or do well in this subject. He provides a lot of context for every part of the course. It is very carefully thought out. It required 10 hrs a week outside of class- watch the videos!

Professor Frolich is truly an outstanding teacher. Anatomy itself isn't an easy subject so you do have to expect a lot of work and hours put into the course. Yet, the professor makes the class interesting and he's truly passionate about his students becoming knowledgeable about the material. Definitely recommend!

1st time rating a Prof but it's worth doing so this time. Professor is very fair-precise instructions. If you want to do well in his course, listen to recordings on his website to reinforce your learning-lots of material but he tells you what to focus on. Very approachable and caring (by the 2nd exam he knew almost everyone's name).

Professor Frolich is an incredibly passionate educator. I learned a great deal in his class at a very humanistic level. He likes to learn as much as we do! He treats his students with respect, genuinely cares what input we have and appreciates dedicated minds. I would recommend to find a good group within your class to have the support of a team.

I took his AP1 and 2 in the same semester and it was a great experience. At first, i was intimidated because I knew how hard anatomy can be, but his way of teaching made it easier to learn. Taking this course online for A&P1 lab, its all test based, with one midterm and a final. Since I'm also taking A&P lecture with another teacher, the mastering assignments help with the tests. I'm definitely taking this teacher in the spring for A&P2 lecture and lab. TAKE HIM!!!!

This class was a mini term so it was condensed into 8 weeks. I think that Dr. Frolich is fair and does a great job of making a very long lecture, 2.5 hours 2x a week, very interesting and forward moving. He also does a great job of tying things back to real life and applying real life applications to the course.

This was a mini term, so it was fast moving and quite intense. Though I really liked Dr. Frolich for lecture, I found that the drawings required for each lab just ate time and stressed me out. I wish there were another way to earn credit besides the lab drawings. 75 percent of the class is based on tests, 25 percent drawings. Watch the points!

Hes great, he will give you an opportunity to submit extra credit which is a good portion of your grade. Semester consists of only bb quizzes, midterm and final. Only downside midterm and finals are 100 questions long and he doesnt give a study guide for it, which means you actually have to study. Besides that, he was great, so the quizzes n pass

This class was so easy! All the exercises to do are just quizzes per chapter, you get option of extra credit too. The only bad thing from the course is that both midterm and final are 100 questions each and he doesnt provide you with a study guide so at the very least you have to really go through his presentations. I've a BS from UCF, taken a couple classes at fiu & fau. Went back to MDC for their accelerated ADN program, and had to take a couple of pre reqs. Frolich is hands down the BEST professor in my five plus years of attending college. I'm not exaggerating, I learned SO MUCH, and was so engaged the entire time. Take him, even if you don't have to. I had Professor Frolich for both BSC2085 lecture and lab and BSC2086 lecture and lab. He's an amazing lecturer. He is pretty fast, but he's very nice about answering and clarifying q's. It is a lot of work, but it should be for a heavy science class. He provides online study material so you don't need a book. Super helpful.

I took him online. 16 quizzes and 2 Proctored exams(Midterm and final). Both midterm and final is worth 26% EACH. Which means you must pass both test in order to pass the class. He gives extra credit worth 5 points. No home work. Fast at responding to emails. Hes straight forward.

Prof. Frolich is by far one of my favorite professors at MDC. I took him for BSC2086 (plus lab). Even though most of the course was moved to remote learning this semester (Spring 2020), I learned all of the material involved. All of his lectures are available on his website. The class is easy to pass with an A as long as long as you do the work.

I took this professor for BSC 2086 lecture and lab during COVID-19 outbreak. He is well organized and has all of his notes online. You will have to draw A LOT, and you get graded on your drawings for the class. While the drawings may seem a bit annoying, they help with your learning. It is very easy to get an A if you pay attention to his lectures.

His lecture is amazing. you will love it. You have to study to pass, but the most importance is you will learn a lot. He has all his lecture on his website. Prepare before class by watch his lecture online and the powerpoint would be very helpful, and he will make you study.

Hes a great professor! Hes very knowledgeable with the topic but make sure you put maximum effort.. every class a summary, compendium page, test is due every class.. we have 3 projects that replace a final. As long as you study youll pass. Just focus as much as possible. I took him during Rona which is online so in class might be different.

The class is comprised of 16 quizzes and 1 midterm. The quizzes are worth 75% of your grade and the midterm is only 25%. You are basically guaranteed passing his class if you put in some work. He also drops the 3 lowest quiz grades . Take Him!!!

Professor Frolich, is such a great teacher. He makes the lectures really interesting and leaves reasonable homework. I took this class over the pandemic and as long as you pay att you will pass. Instead of a midterm and a final we have the Golem project which in my opinion is a better way of learning all the anatomical features in the human body.

Professor Frolich is one of my favorite professors he is very knowledgeable and well prepared to teach the courses . He does a good job at making the information meaningful and he really wants his students to excel. The tests aren't difficult if you study, but don't expect a blow off class.

Be prepared however, it is A LOT of homework but it forces you to learn and absorb all the info, it's a great way to learn. You have to draw literally EVERYTHING he teaches.

This Professor is so knowledgeable about this topic. He truly wants his students to not just know the material, but rather practice it in their lives. Professor Frolich is kind, warm hearted and very understanding. I was going through a lot of personal issues during my semester and he was very compassionate. His class is relatively easy if you keep up with the due dates. He has proctored exams and quizzes that correspond to each chapter that are easy.

Professor Frolich is amazing! This lab course requires a lot of practicing and reviewing to get a good grade on the exams we have each class. However, he gives you clear instructions on what's going to be on the test through study guides. If you study and retain everything, you will find the exams easier than you expected(no multiple choice).

Professor Frolich is great. I found his class to be really easy. You do have to draw a lot but that makes you learn,I dont see it as something negative. He is not a tough grader. The project has 3 parts but its really easy but of course it will take time to add all the info. I have kids and I was able to pass with an A. You can make it work!

Larry is a great professor but he is quite passionate about his class. The classes are very long and you have to draw a lot. Each class does a quiz and 3 very heavy golems. If you want him to be your professor, you have to work hard to pass his class.

Professor Larry Frolich is amazing! this class was a breathe of fresh air when having a heavy work load from other courses. He was nice and very caring. Course is to the point and not complicated. Do the work and you will be fine. No textbook either! Quizzes are possible to get a A on everything.

If you're looking for an easy class with a chill professor.. this is it. This course was made of up quizzes for each chapter and 5 unit exams, which are pretty easy. If u don't do well the first time, some quizzes give you a second chance for a higher grade! There's only two discussions and one proctored midterm.

this class felt like a breeze. i did summer online course and i never felt overwhelmed. we had canvas quizzes, canvas unit exams, 2 easy discussions, proctered midterm but no final which is great. i got to finish the class early and now i don't have to worry about it for 3 weeks. i recommend if you're not good at biology and just needed the credit.

Love this Prof. he is very knowledgeable and tries to accommodate different learning styles. You have to draw out everything and understand how each thing functions in your body cohesively. The drawing helps the information stick. A lot of work so get ready to work. 3 projects that are worth 50% of overall grade.

Online lectures and in person labs are required. Lecture is super easy and impossible to fail in my opinion. He allows you to use self made notes from previous lecture on his 5 question tests each beginning of class which are easy too. Has very clear teachings and records zooms so anyone can review. Even has a website with all the material and more

Labs are graded solely on lab prep materials that are available for all the weeks of the semester since day 1 and tests are hard if you are not able to memorize the materials. He does give you lists of what he will need you to learn for possible questions in lab. Study, study, study for the tests but he is very organized and helpful if questions

I think he is an amazing teacher and it becomes immediately clear how much he wants his students to learn, not just to pass the class but to carry the knowledge with us for our future careers or just lives. He prefers putting the focus of the grading towards effort and repetition work.

Took him for A&P1/2 for lecture and lab. Best professor I have ever had. Super caring and understanding. Lecture is a quiz before class you can use notes (compendium page) and 3 golems (drawings). Lab is purely on lab exams 20 questions each, 5pts from prep drawings and he tells you what to study. LOTS OF DRAWING.

Prof. Frolich is a fantastic teacher who really wants students to learn. His class is challenging, with lots of drawing, projects, and hands-on work, but the effort pays off. I found Unstuck AI super helpful for studying alongside the textbook. Overall, a rewarding experience.

He is amazing, it was my first time taking his class for A&P2 lecture and lab, and he explains everything so well, for lab you just have to label, and you also have golems, and for lecture it's online, we have a small quiz of 5 questions each lecture classes, we also have one or two assignments for lecture. And one prep drawing for lab. He is GREAT
