Larry loves to have students jump through hoops without any academic benefit. He is completely unorganized -- the syllabus means nothing. He consistently wastes class time with "Life according to Larry" b.s. Don't waste your time on this clow
his syllabus is a waste of time, you never know what the hell he is asking for. his real life situtations are a joke because his experience is a joke. it is hard to believe this guy actually is cutting it in the real world.
He was VERY helpful, he met with our team on Sunday to help with the project. It is a ton of work, but worth it. One of the classes I learned the most in.
Prof Gee is beyond fair. He gives you more chances to be a winner as compared to other profs I had at SJS. He knows his subject very well so don't BS him. He goes out of his way to teach you. He will even meet with the group on his own time.
good teacher. learn many subjects.
class is a lot of work. Teacher is good and has a good course layout. He has real world experience and is there to help you on his own time. You have to do your part though. Learned a lot from his class
Easy class to take if your taking alot of units
Larry is a wonderful teacher. As long as you show yourself to be an interested student he is more than willing to help you. Test are not too hard and his team project is good if everyone does their part. I would highly recommend him if you need this class.
vERy difficult Professor. HE acts like this is the only class there is !! this class is equivalent to taking 2 classes. Too much work, and he is a perfectionist, so he will make you drive hours together to get these special folders and slides for class.
The worst class EVER. The syllabus doesn't mean jack. He acts like this is the only class you have. Every class he ****es out students for not having perfect work. He only gave teacher review forms to the brown nosers in class. He really should not be teaching. This guy just SUCKS DONTwasteURtime

This class is a waste of time. A topic that can be very interesting, he manages to make very dull. His set up is he covers slides (pics from the book) and lectures lightly on each and then holds each topic for discussion. The problem is that the questions are unclear and undefined.
Larry ROCKS!! kinda...
WHAT A PIECE OF WORK THIS GUY IS!!! I hated having to look at his bald head every day of this past semester. He is the ultimate ****. The syllabus doesn't mean anything. His lectures are unclear and pointless. Don't waste your time on this guy. Larry doesn't rock he SUCKS
His lectures are unconventional but his exams are not difficult at all. He gives you the actual pages to study for on the study guides. The only drag is there are weekly quizzes so you need to keep up with the reading. Labs are on an honor system but he still checked labs 3 & 4 this semester.
this is a very hard class. it can be easy if you have a good group so forget your friends and find the smart ppl. Gee is very demanding, wants everything perfect. likes participation, so answer questions. read the book, he'll ask random questions based on the text. he is helpful if you ask questions or contact him outside class. participate.
I thought the class was ok. You just have to go to all of the class sessions & do all the HW, which wasn't that hard nor alot. Midterm wasn't that bad. He tries to make the class seem hard and intimidating but its not at all. He's very basic.
This guy is the worst teacher out there. He really should not be teaching
this teacher is awesome! he teaches kinda wacky, but if you pay attention, its all for the better for you. he's corny, but he means well. all i can say is= go to class with an open mind and just pay attention!!
His teaching style is really weird. Just took him for the summer and the class was cake. listens to students in what you want to do and drops a lot of things. first test was brutal, final was cake. Take him for BUS 189
This is easily one of the best teachers in the school. He cares about the students alot. He's even nice to the whining complaining ones. Read the book and watchout for the details for the test. Otherwise he's great.

he is really arrogant and kind of jerky. i don't recommend him. if you can take another instructor, do it.
Easy, but super time consuming! Make sure you get into a good group too. I was in a group with an idiot project manager and added DAYS to the project. I would suggest you take the class with people you know or just step up and be the project manager. Trust me! it is worth it grade wise too.

I would not recommend taking this one with Gee. He is a horrible instructor. Should he really be teaching class here?
well it is sad that someone professional can be negative towards students, i think this teacher should retire from teaching.
This is the most unprofessional teacher that I have experienced at SJSU. He does not demonstrate business etiquettes in or outside the classroom. By the second week of class he chooses which students he wants to help. If you are not on that list do not expect much from the class cuz he will refuse to help. Best Advice: Take another teacher
I enjoyed taking this class. Without knowing BUS 93 definitely this class will be hard. People who complain about his class because they didn't bring any knowledge from their previous classes. I highly recommend you to take his class if you want to learn something. He is the best instructor for BUS 119A out of all the other instructors.
Mr. Gee is a friendly person, but not a good teacher. He spends most of the class talking about unrelated things and then spends the last 10 or 15 minutes actually teaching. One very unprofessional episode (in which he got angry at the class and sent us all home early) lowered my respect for him, sadly.
Unprofessional, is hard for me to believe. Keep in mind that this guy has been in the technoloy for 20+ yrs as a PM. He is the elite among all of them. Yes, u have little guidance in this class, but u need to make sure u apply the concepts that u learned from Bus93(Systems Analysis and Design course). Its a capstone class. I highly recommend him.
Excellent professor! Tests are from material in the textbook, understands students and offers exceptional help. Don't know what those other comments were about, totally untrue!

He is an awesome professor! He really wants his students to do well. He knows most of us work and go to school full-time, so the homework load is not bad at all. I took him for winter and totally miss our class!! If you can try to take his class :)

Larry is a great professor! He is so friendly and extremely approachable. Project Management is a fairly easy class as long as you put some effort. The main focus is on the group project which you get the whole semester to work on. I recommend this class. I feel like I am taking something from this class that I can use! And food is his weakness!
Great teacher, straight to the point... will help you at out to make sure you pass the class... taking him for bus 189 during summer. Would recommend him.
Larry is really friendly, and to fail his class, it really takes effort. He won't fail you unless you really screw up. Really easy to talk to and is always there to help you.
just don't know wht he is doing in the class...can't learn n don't know wht's going on in that class!
Great teacher. He is a professional PM and will share anything you want. He makes class and learning fun. If you show up and pay attention, you will get an A. He also really like participation and gives ton of extra credit opportunities.
Weird guy. Not the best teacher. Class topics can jump from one thing to another leaving students confused. Sometimes goes over chapters by just going over the text book supplied PP slides. May be a good project manager but is definitely not a good teacher.
Not a good teacher to take as he jumps all over the place.Does not tell you what is expected and gives you a bad grade based on student feedback (illegal and will be reported to the dean). He may be good at what he does but most def. not a good teacher. take sridar for this class hands down.
Larry is a great guy. He can sometimes be unclear like the others said, but if you ask him to clarify he is always more than happy to talk to you about it. He really wants his students to do well and even gave us cheat sheets on midterm and final. I would suggest taking him and not listening to the students that want everything sppon fed to them.
Professor Gee is very fair and gives students every opportunity to succeed as well as challenge his or herself. I would take Bus. 146/Project Management from him. He is funny and will keep you engaged in the class.
Honestly the best teacher i have ever had. He actually helps his students pass unlike other teachers that would do anything to make things harder. He's very easy to understand, and he's very funny. Great Guy! TAKE HIS CLASS.
He is awsome!!!! Very motivated and funny~ Very encouraging~ easy to deal with~ very helpful and ok to make adjustments for the class or even individual needs. He is GOOD!!
Very passionate teacher that will not bore you in class. Test are long and tedious but he may or may not give a cheat sheet (the class negotiates with him). Class project is semi-easy too.
If I had to pick one teacher I learned the most from in college, it would be Larry. Test were hard but he grades more than fair then gives alot of extra credit. He would hammer in the things you would actually use in life. You will never forget this teacher.
Prof. Gee is one of the best teachers I've had. 1 page crib notes and easy to negotiate with. It's hard to fail his class. Very passionate about the subject, but also very willing to teach you what you don't understand. Group proj. can be a little difficult, but overall he is one of the best teachers I've had at State
He was totally awesome!! Combines fun with learning. We had 1 midterm and 1 final. cheat sheet on both. He gives study guides as well!! Go to all his classes... if you have to miss he is very understanding... Whats the class motto? Do Work SOn!! (ask him about that) :)
If you are looking for a professor who gives you real value for your education then Larry is not the professor. Honestly there is no challenge to the class. He gives you cheat sheets for everything. He is a big pushover and needs to be more tough with students. He cares about student's though. Good class if you have a big load.
He's a great teacher. I highly recommend him. One midterm and one final. Crib sheets for both. One group project where you will have to present. There were 4 labs that weren't too easy but made it worth while. Take him if you want to learn while having fun.
this class is a complete waste of time. take it if you want everything spoonfed to you. he does not teach. all you do is watch group presentations. the access projects were really irritating and he does not grade any of the work.
You don't learn anything in this class. Exams are easy because he gives you a review sheet and 1 cheat sheets (both sides)
HANDS DOWN BEST TEACHER AT STATE
He is one of the best professor in SJSU, He give you what you need in the class, like the knowledge, and he do the best to help you in class, spend time to explain you about the chapters on his own time, test is not that hard, and he allow the study sheet sometimes, and always hv fun in class, that's important~!
Love this teacher! He's so awesome! He's very helpful, fun and funny. I would definitely recommend taking his class. Most of the answers to the exams are on the PPT. One cheat sheet double sided for all exams. Awesome teacher. Two thumbs up. I felt a learn a lot in his class.
Looking for an easy class to lighten your workload? Then you found one here. 2 exams, cheat sheets for both = easy A's. 1 group presentation and some homework assignments. Class is so easy, it is simply too easy. He needs to be tougher on students by actually holding us accountable for learning the material. a very nice and friendly prof though.
"Is that you Professor Gee?? Didn't recognize you with that hat." LOL This professor is Hilarious. Material is easy and he will make the class fun for you. A+ Professor Take his class!! He takes it upon himself to "TRY" to remember all his students in the class this is where the fun will be found. Great Professor!!!
Best teacher I've ever had! It was so much fun in his class and exam was pretty straight forward from study guide. 1 midterm, final, and 25+ group project. Take PM role, you'll have lots of fun! He's really helpful. I'll take another class with him for you.
Professor Gee is one of the best professor at SJSU. He makes the class more interesting than read the slices or textbook. As long as you read the text, understand the materials, you are good to go for this class. Love the party at the end of the class. He is very flexible and easy going which help students pass the class.
Best teacher I've ever had at SJSU! He is very helpful and approachable. He would do anything to help students to succeed in his class. Extremely enjoyable class, he very funny. Two midterm and final. Exams are pretty straight forward from study guide, 25+ group presentation. I highly recommend this professor.
Gee likes to make his class a lot of fun. The project is a breeze, the homework is all group assignments. Gee really wants all of his students to do well. The only complaint I have is sometimes he doesn't have control over his class and he'll let that annoying person make too many jokes or let them ramble about topics not related to class.
An amazing professor who tries to teach students not only the materials, but also life. He shows us that networking is key when you wish to spread your ideas. He makes class enjoyable and is always willing to help.Just make sure you come to class and be prepare have an engaging conversation about current events. Do all that, you'll get an A for sure
His class is a WASTE of time! Not clear on grading guidelines, although if you act enthusiastic & he likes you, A, if not your screwed. Spends more time making people learn classmates names than teaching material. It'd be MUCH better to stay at home & teach yourself, but then he'd get mad because he wouldn't have an audience & ur grade would suffer
Worst professor I took at SJSU. Doesn't teach you that many things you need to know for the exams and quizzes. Wastes your time. Going to class is boring torture. Pretends like he's a fun cool guy, but he's mostly annoying.
Spends too much time telling his own boring stories and not teaching the material. Plays favorites. Unfair subjective grading. His class sucks. You don't learn anything. My least favorite class at SJSU and I'm graduating this semester.
Yall trippin! (pointing to those comments below) Prof Gee's class was BEYOND easy! He was straight to the point and kept the class interesting. He helped anyway he could from giving tips b4 a tests, to lettin us out early ( it was a night class 6-8:45pm. Definately take him! You won't regret it!
a BIG pushover. that is all i am gonna say
Boring! You won't learn anything. You do get cheat sheets for exams (even though he tries to play like you won't - he just wants people to applaud him when he says he ends up saying yes). You have to teach yourself access, the assignments aren't even discussed in class. Honestly, I question his integrity.
Students who say he's a good professor are super lazy and like to sit and listen to him talk about nothing forever and in return to being super attentive to his boring BS he will grant you an A. He doesn't have do his job, you don't have to do your job and everyone passes. The more he likes you, the higher your grade.
professor Gee is a very nice professor, i just took the final for 189 summer session. he is very considerable that we only had 5 weeks. Even though his teaching style is not the best, he is caring to his students. i would take him again if possible!
professor Gee is so nice and his summer session bus 189 is fun and easy. even though he did not lecture so much, he gave us study guides before exams and he did his best job to make it easier for us in 5 week session! i would take him again if possible!
Professor is nice but he lets himself be controlled by lazy students. Lazy students love him because he lets the students dictate when he will give quizzes. You won't learn much in his class since he is loves to get attention from the lazy students.
the dude is a business teach, he is teaching a web design class. its system analysis and design. he is teaching the business aspect of the class. not what i signed up for very misleading. its a bull way he is teaching im learning nothing.
Took his Winter class. Considering the class was about 4 weeks he was very considerate as far as work load. Two group presentations, but they weren't a HUGE part of the overall grade. Very passionate about the subject and so caring! Really cares for his students and is approachable for assistance. Tests were pretty easy if you studied! He curved.
This MIS class was helpful in a way. Gee tries to make the class the least painful for his students. Lazy students do "control" him to some extent, but the environment of learning is still there in my opinion. Even if things are done in groups, people still need to participate and understand the stuff. 1 project, 1 midterm, 1 final, some hwk.
Take this MIS class. Prof. Gee made the class fun. Having a class motto gave the class solidarity. Some activities were done in groups. 1 project, 1 midterm, 1 final, some quizzes. It is important to show up to class and turn off your cell phone.
Professor Gee makes the class bearable. Although his lectures seem to go off on tangents, he does get the class engaged. There is a bit of homework in this class, 1 MT, final and a group project. If you sit up front and participate, you will do well in his class.
He is an interesting teacher that lets students (all in teams) have a say in how things should be handled in the class regarding some quizzes and assignments (group project). Do not underestimate the difficulty of the midterm and the final (1 page of notes allowed), consisting of essay questions and multiple choice questions from the book. Got a B.
his class is easy. so if you want an A, take him,,but if you want to learn sth, take another teacher, he knows a lot but he keeps talking about different topic in the class..I personally do not like him that much..
Professor Gee is the man! He has a very laid back feel to his class and he keeps the work load light considering the class was only 6 weeks long. All it consisted of was 2 case study presentations, 1 midterm, 1 final and some quizzes. He allows a cheat sheet for exams and also offers extra credit, which are drawn from case studies. Overall, awesome
Professor Gee is a very good teacher. He wants all his students to be successful. Show up for class, study the questions he gives you and you will succeed in his class. He makes this class enjoyable. Take him for BUS 146
Ok, for all of us who have a full time job and appreciate a teacher that lets you go home early, take him! His class is easy, attendance is mandatory.
I took him for both Proj. Mgmt and Strategic MGMT. I got a B and an A. Nice Guy. very helpful. Makes boring topics tolerable. Lots of group work though. Good and useful PP slides. The PP slides are a good guide for book reading. if you study the tests are easy. You can fail if you do not study.
Taught for 2 days the entire semester for a total of 20 minutes. Had students write the midterm. 60% of the grade for the class was an IBM project, for which they graded, not him. Gave different finals to different classes (one got all Q&A's, one got 300 slides). Horrible, horrible teacher. Ugh.
Learned absolutely nothing. A culmination of the MIS degree ends up being a course focused entirely on student presentations and self-made exams (see: inaccurate information). Defeats the purpose of paying tuition or attending school. Major fail by the MIS department and needs to be fixed fast. Unhappy alumni do not give back.
I took him for both 119A and 119B. He has a power trip and doesn't like you to yawn or come in late. He has no problem calling you out on stuff. He's not helpful in answering questions and he'll make you look stupid. I would NEVER recommend him. I think he needs to leave SJSU entirely.
Currently in 119b (spring 12). Absolutely awesome teacher. Don't why someone assumes that he is on a power trip. He is a college professor and has to set rules. Every great professor does that. I have thoroughly enjoyed his classes. Learned project management and now using at work. Highly recommended. As long as you do your work class amazing.
The IBM class project is completely useless. The exams were hard, but he curves everyone so nobody would fail the class. He makes students do the lecture, so be prepare for presentations every week by students. One of the worst MIS professors ever.
Treats students like high school kids and the class itself seems like it is preparing students for the real world--but it is not. A lot of time is wasted on talking discussing about the world instead of how to actually do something about it. Overall pretty easy class--seems like nobody failed but will not prepare students for the real world.
Prof Gee is okay, compared to a couple of other MIS professors I've had. He WILL help you and impart knowledge, but you have to show that you WANT to learn and are putting in an EXTRA effort to do so. Otherwise, he'll let you flounder and sink. Pretty much the way it works in the real world, too.
Very nice and fair teacher. has 1 mid term and 1 final both you get a cheat sheet. Has 2 presentation. IBM project we did was on big data which is a big industry topic good information. Learned a lot of information which i used in interviews. Imparted great knowledge. If you are lazy/not willing to do work don't take this class.
BEST MIS PROF! He's very passionate & REALLY cares about his students! Very approachable. Make sure u participate, be proactive, and add extra documents into ur binders. No midterm or final, weekly quizzes on TTRs & chps. Caution: being a project manager is much more work but even more rewarding & gives you the skills you will need after graduation.
If you really want to learn don't take his class, but if you want an easy teacher take him. His class is not an easy A but it is easy to pass. However, just make sure you do all the reading because he does not lecture effectively. The exams are not hard but reading the book and the powerpoint slides makes it easier to study.
If you're unlucky and get the hard project, it'll consume your life. Be sure to pick a well-rounded team, it's locked in and you're stuck with it. Tedious and boring. Gee's often not clear on what he wants. I didn't learn anything from him. Has students teach by extra credit ppt and then quiz you on it. The only good thing is good guest speakers.
Do no take his class. He's one of the toughest professors ever. He gives quizzes every week or so and his quizzes are way too difficult. I read the textbook and all his lecture slides atleast twice and I still ended up getting a bad grade. In all, just avoid taking him. He is not worth it.
He is nice prof but a hard grader. Finding a good group is important because you will have troubles if group conflicts occur. Take someone if you can avoid possible.
Prof Gee is one of a kind. He's smart, witty & most of all he cares about his students. I took him for winter session & it was one of the hardest classes I've taken. 30 page paper, daily quizzes, mid-term, 2 presentations & a final, all in 3 weeks. I would do it all over again if needed. He's approachable & gives lots of extra credit! Love him!
I have mixed emotions on this professor. "A" students will find him frustrating and difficult (make yourself known, ask for extra credit, and work harder than usual). "B" students find him pretty easy. That's his 189 course in a nutshell, work your hiney off to get an A, but a B is easy. My advice, BE PROFESSIONAL, dress well for presentation, etc.
If you have a choice don't register for his class, so the message will go to department chair search for a new faculty. He's the most horrible faculty at SJSU. Only good is his Canvas resources are good & his assignments are meaningful.
Professor Gee has a lot of industry experience which he relates to the course so you can understand the material. Make sure you do the work in his class to get a good grade. It's not hard to get a B, but you have to put in work to get an A. Two presentations, Midterm, Final, 30pg group paper and some other misc. work
Larry's enthusiasm made the 6pm class bearable. You don't learn a lot about systems management unless you really apply yoruself. He's a wonderful professor who cares about his students, and he cares a lot about participation. I will love to take him again for BUS189. TAKE LARRY, you won't regret it.
Took him for a winter session. Three weeks of HECK (heavy course load) but it was worth it. You make good relationships with your group but be prepared to meet outside of class. We spent close to 20 hours of time outside of class working on our presentations and a 30 page paper together. B is easy, you'll have to work for an A
Here is the breakdown of the class. Larry himself is very nice to talk to and very enthusiastic so class isn't boring. Occasional quizzes aren't difficult if you review the stuff b4 class. The downside is that he is a difficult grader. As long as you turn in everything required at the end(project binder) and do a good presentation you'll be ok
Very enthusiastic professor, which makes the 3hr night class ok. he does everything in his power to pass us. Quizzes are pretty easy if you read. make sre you know people's faces and names in the class (pops up on quizzes). one of my favorite professor on campus.
NO HOMEWORK, quiz every week (just pay attention in class, he gives you the answers), just say you read when he asks (don't have to read, I just paid attention and took notes in class without looking at the book), group assignments from the text book are minimal and super easy, he has a lot of experience and is a great career mentor.
This professor is hilarious he makes a 3 hour class fly by! I would absolutely recommend taking him he's pretty easy and truly cares about his students.
HE IS AWESOME AND DOWN TO EARTH. SUPER NICE AND ENGERY PERSON THAT YOU CAN NEVER FIND A SECOND TEACHER LIKE HIM. IF YOU DON'T TAKE HIM, YOU WILL REGRET.
He's super nice and wants you to pass! Just make sure to attend class and listen. There's a quiz every week but as long as you read a bit and attend class you'll do fine. There's a few group assignments but they're fun. He's a great professor! Highly recommended.
One word: GENEROUS. I was so fearful of winter classes but he made it the easiest class EVER. Super cool dude with lectures that don't bore you. Group projects were actually fun and you just needed to read the book. Understand key terms! Lots of extra credit opportunities!
As said earlier, easy B, tough A. He curved our midterm by 10 points and gave a max 7 extra credit pts for a small 5 min presentation and 1 extra credit question on quizzes. He doesn't like confrontation for some reason & has moments of passive aggression. His lectures don't help for the test. Just read the book, get a GOOD group, and you'll pass
Took him for two of my classes because I liked him so much. Professor Gee is very understanding and gives lots of opportunities for extra credit. You'll pass if you participate every class.
I took Professor Gee for two required classes because he is absolutely an excellent teacher. He is very understanding, hilariously entertaining, and really cares about the success of his students. There are opportunities for extra credit. Bottom line, you participate in class and you will pass. Absolutely, Love the way he interacted with us.
Larry Gee is the best teacher ever! My first semester at SJSU and I am so happy I got him as a teacher. He truly cares for his students, in all aspects of life. He is very clear about his expectations and really empowers his students. If you have the chance to take him and you don't you will regret it for the rest of your life.
Overall, he was an okay professor to have. He definitely cares about what students have to say, which is great! However, when it came to assignments/deliverables, he would not give his expectations beforehand, grade meticulously, and then give his expectations when reviewing groups one by one. So be sure to be detailed when turning in submissions!
Great professor, very positive, group work is expected since there are two projects where you analyze a company and present on it. Very approachable and if you read the book and participate you'll be fine. But read the book before class. read it.
1 Midterm, 1 Final (80 multiple choice questions), quizzes every chapter, easy group assignments. Be ready to read before quizzes and exams. His study guide is helpful but does trick you some questions. Extra credit is offered in class.
Took him for Bus 189 in the Winter. Very energetic and passionate about material. There was a lot of work listed on the syllabus, but ended taking off 2 chapters from the midterm and the final and gave lots of extra credit points. Definitely worth taking him.
The course has 2 group projects which includes 2 presentations and 1 25-30 page papers. There are quizzes every week so pay attention to the group presentations. The exams are extremely difficult. Study from the book and powerpoints and you should be okay for the most part.
Didn't have a problem with the material or exams (all super easy). I did have a problem with his personality. He made a 3 hour lecture go by so slow, always went on tangents during his lectures. Was super condescending and treated us like children (made us clap every time someone answered a question - yes I'm serious). TBH don't take him.
Overall, it was a good class. Exams can be tricky so listen to his examples in class and read the book. He's funny and always gives good feedback.
I feel like I paid a lot of money for to be treated like a preschooler. You come up with a "class motto" which you recite at the beginning of every class after saying "wiggle wiggle wiggle." All his experience is really outdated - no tech companies function as old school as he teaches. Will take off points if your file isn't named the correct way.
He's a funny prof, he'll say something positive all the time, "good job/ awesome!". I don't see why others here have a problem with that, he'll also encourage knowing everyone in the room, well that's also a good thing because you'll see those faces again on other classes and knowing who they are is a good thing. Tests are a little difficult..
This professor does not like students or teaching this class, condescending, temper tantrums as usual. I do not recommend this class to anyone, a waste of time. You will not learn anything, lots of group projects, and presentations all semester long with social loafers.
This professor has a history of taking alcoholic bribes for an A. His go-to is Jonny Walker (Blue Label). I've witnessed it a number of times. He's been reported to the University Obudsmanperson a number of times. I don't think the Dean actually did anything because he's tenure. But there is a long history. He does have great stories and insight.
You pay a lot of money to attend college so you expect quality education in return. Lectures were long for no reason uninformative. Treats students like they're 5. Motto chants are just a waste of time. Then you start to wonder... why am I in college? and how is this class going to help me in the future? Find another prof.
Professor Gee was a phenomenal professor. He engaged the entire class and put an incredible amount of effort into our Winter term on top of having his simultaneous commitments with full-time work. He was able to teach us a lot of valuable insights of business and always demonstrated positivity, professionalism and excellence. Thanks Larry G!
Professor Gee really cares. I took him for Winter and was impressed by how much he wanted to get to know us in such a short amount of time. Sure some of the things in the class are silly (class motto, cheering each other on for answering questions) but it did kinda feel nice. Presentations are graded easy and fairly. Quizzes are easy, tests - HARD
Today marks the last day of our Winter class & what a three weeks semester it has been! Professor Gee divided us into groups - assigned a few case studies to write reports on. He acknowledged that a lot of students are working and remain flexible with the due dates. He purposefully makes the quizzes easy but exams are hard. Take him, he's a fun guy
Took Professor Gees Winter 189. He really cares about teaching and is accommodating if you communicate your difficulties to him. Class was funny and entertaining even though it was 3 hours every night for three weeks straight. He provides study guides for both midterm and final. Quizzes were off of group presentations. Participation gets you far!!
This professor loves to pick favorites, so be careful. Very lecture heavy, to the point where sometimes it felt like it was full of tangents. Make sure you participate and study the slides. He is very picky about reports and expects professionalism. More strict than teachers I've had, but a solid choice.
He's pretty fun and very energetic. He tries to make lectures fun but the content isn't that interesting. This class is mostly go to class. There's no homework but there is a group breakout room every class for about 10-15 mins where the group works on answering a few questions together. There is also a 10ish question quiz every week.
Pretty easy class. He kind of treats the students like kids by making us do a class motto at the end of class and clap but if you ask him for a study guide he will give you a replica of the exact test pretty much. Material is pretty bland but it is what it is. If you don't mind the late class then take it for an easy B minimum.
he's a nice guy, but i lowkey hate how he makes us clap and cheer for everything like were in kindergarten. he also makes us say class mottos while twirling our hands in the air. it annoys me. exams are hard bc he doesn't lecture, but its all on quizlet. two big presentations. weekly quizzes based on presentations. lenient on grades if he likes you
Every week you will have a quiz not hard if you study. 2 presentations and 2 tests. He's a nice guy and a great professor
he's really friendly and encourages the class to do well but i also don't like the whole clapping and cheering aspect. two big projects so choose your group wisely. exams are hard because his lectures and study guide don't match at all. he picks favorites as well. also prepare to memorize every face in your class cause thats on the quizzes
He teaches some tremendous soft skills practices to students and is very caring towards doing well in class. Not a bad class at all, grading is lenient and a good group will mean you will do well in the class. Come to class ready to participate and be asked anything. Lastly, GO WITH THE FLOW. Be interactive in class and get to know classmates.
Larry Gee was a wonderful professor who I feel really cared for his students. He would always throw in questions asking us to remember the names of our classmates into his quizzes and he would ask us to dress up for presentations. He was somebody who wanted us to not only respect him but ourselves and fellow students. I will remember him dearly.
Rest in Peace Professor Gee. Thank you for sharing your wisdom & experiences over the years. I will never forget how understanding & caring you were when I showed up an hour late to class & you still allowed me to take the quiz. I can't believe your time to go was so soon, but I know you did what you loved. I'll always remember you Larry Glenn Gee
Professor Gee is a caring instructor who challenges students to engage and grow. The class can be intense, but the supportive environment and lenient grading make it worthwhile. Unstuck Study AI was a game-changer for test prep.
