for my first college class, he made it seem really easy. yea, there are quizzes almost everyday but the questions are straight out of the books. He also gives a lot of extra credit opportunities which is basically volunteering.

no vin diesel,looks like a prowrestler to me.dont be intimidated on the first day,he has a scarry stare n' makes the class sound difficult(two fools walked out of class).he says there are no EZ A's but B's come by easily. hes cracks up jokes all the time.

mr gonzalez is so cool and funny. he is bald also. at this moment in time. i recommend him to everyone. he gives lots of extra credit as well. great teacher. but you DO have to READ to pass.

there's a quiz everyday based on the readings. tests are okay, but essay is somewhat difficult. he offers a lot of extracredit opportunities. easy B if you don't really try. easy A if you read and study.

He is fun, but you have to read very carefully in order to pass his tests and quizzes. His tests are kind of tricky and the review will help you 70%. He is cool, though. As long as you read carefully, you should be okay.

I took his online class and it was so well organized and put together. You just read and take a quiz every week - no assignments. He even frequently emailed power point slides to clarify tough chapters. He had a great teaching method and style. I recomend him for any class you can get.

he is hillarious and very understanding. he is very hekpful and an all around good person. we beed more teachers like him. ther is never a dull moment in class. he also gives out candy during tests and some holidays. his test is multiple choice with 50 or less questions and his essay part of test is easy because he lets u use an outline.

Dr. G is a really great teacher! I took govt two at 8AM, but i dont know about you, but govt at 8AM isn't the way to start my day... can we say boring!?... but Dr.G really knows how to make you laugh and keep you awake! Online class. Lots of reading, but the textbooks are easily digested (some of the eReader articles are about as exciting as reading a phone book though). He follows the syllabus and schedule exactly, and there are no weird surprises. There were 13 quizzes and 3 exams, all multiple choice. The exam questions were taken straight from the quizzes.

His the best teacher that the Houston Community College has for teaching Goverment. Also, there is a quiz everyday and only three tests and no final wich for me this was an extra reason for me to take him.

I took him for Political Science.He is such a laid back and fun professor.He talks to you like a friend not to mention is very helpful.His class is very easy and lectures are always fun.I really enjoyed taking his class and I was looking forward to being in his class again this semester.

I had Prof. Gonzalez for my7 online govt class and he is an amazing teacher. there is time for our lives outside of school and he understands that. his test are great and the weekly quizzes just require reading a chapter a week...would highly recommend him to anyone

Took online for both 2301 and 2302. Super organized. Very clear. Each week we would read a chapter then take a quiz like clockwork. There were three exams that closely followed the format of the quizzes. Not an "easy A" as there is a lot of reading, but and A is definitely doable if you read well and are organized.

I took his class online and i HIGHLY recommend taking it. The tests are exactly like the quizzes whioch come straight from the reveiw you can't go wrong!

He is a very good teacher & very funny. 3 easy tests that are mostly from his lectures, & no final. 2 of his tests has an essay. The essay can be replaced w/ 12 hrs of community service w/ an essay on what you've learned. There are many extra credit you can gain in order to pass. Easy grader on community service essay, which can be done outside.

semester just started but just wanted to mention text book is mandatory...quizzes every class period over reading assignments!!! @ start of class...no exceptions for tardiness!syllabus gives options for extra credit.

Prof. Gonzalez is very nice. I didn't buy the book in class but you need it for reference. I passed with a C and if I did all the extra credit I would have gotten an B. He's very laid back. I did take him again for Govt 2302 and now 2304.

He's real nice. I didn't buy the book just copy his notes, the book is for reference. If I had a book I would have made an A but I made an C. Now if I did all his extra credit, I would have made an B. He really doesn't care if you're absent a lot or late. Essay, as long as you know what you talking about, he'll give you a B. He's a Great Teach!

XTRA CREDIT WILL BRING UP GRADE A FULL LETTER!! Reading quizzes at beginning of class. Dont bother cheating bcause everyone's test is diff! The exams are straight from the quizzes...exchange quizzes and study your neighbor's graded quiz to ace the exam.

HE IS THE BEST PROF!!! He makes class so much fun... I took him this summer for poly sci. and I liked how he related everything with what going on right now politically... It made class even more interesting. ONly prof. I actually truly enjoyed attending class. Imma take him again next summer for sure. you get to laugh while you learn.. lol

THis class was a fairly easy class. I took this course online. The the layout of the class is simple. You just read (1) chapter a week and take a short quiz and take a test every month. There are four test and a final. As long as you read each Chpt you'll do great....

This professor is extremely helpful and you actually learn something from him. He gives reading assignments and there are usually quizzes over them, 3 test and no midterm/final exams but its a breeze. just read and you will be fine. lets you out early sometimes, but his class is really interesting and funn, his jokes are hilarious!

I took him intro to poly sci and the class was easy. He is helpful, his textbook was cheap, his test are a bit difficult but short. He gives research papers which can be easy. I recommend him for a Hist credit.

take him online this is the EASIEST CLASS EVER I MEAN LIKE SERIOUSLY IF YOU FAIL YOU OBVIOUSLY SHOULD NOT BE IN SCHOOL.You have 11 quizes which are 15 min each, and you have 3 exams and to pass them all you have to do is print out the quizes you took earlier and look over those and take the test its the EXACT SAME QUESTIONS THAT ARE ON YUR QUIZES!!

get into a study group and you would do fine! He is not hard but you have to read the chapters. Quizzes 20 min, test are the same questions of quizzes(1 hr). The 8 week class is the best.

It is horribly hard...... u must study....the test is not over the quiz ..some covered but most is outside sources + NO DROP LOW QUIZ.I took him for Govt 1 and tests + quizzes were easy and test is the quiz....... This is the easiest class I have ever taken in college. Online, 5 quizzes, all multiple choice, straight out of the text, and a 2500 word paper. The last test had 4 MULTIPLE CHOICE questions! Ridiculously easy. I shouldn't be getting college credit for this.

Probably the easiest and coolest Government teacher I have had at HCC. He's very nice,funny, helpful, and understanding. He gives quizzes every week so you can stay on top of your work and studying and the test are just like the quizzes. I don't think there is no way anyone could fail his class. I recommend him for anyone!!!

Make sure you read the book, his assignments are very tricky. We had 5 assignments timed with the 1st 4 assignments 10 questions and the last had 4 questions, but the questions are tricky so read the chpts. The final is an essay of 2500 words but very easy. I passed with a B

I took this class online and it was easy and not much work is required. There is one quiz once a week; Professor Gonzalez will provide a powerpoint with notes that will help. All questions are multiple choice on quizzes, tests, and the final exam. I was never required to come to an HCC campus for this course.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Take Dr. G! I took the 5 week summer I session. I don't enjoy Govt or Hist courses at all, but I really enjoyed this one. Everyone says how easy the course is. It is, IF you read. I got an A, but I had to read every chapter 3 times, and still found some questions tricky. He is prompt to respond to emails, very upbeat!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! This course is an easy A, IF you put in the time. I read every chapter 3 times and still found several questions tricky. 100% online and about 70% of the exam questions come from the quizzes. Dr. G. responds quickly to emails (<24hrs) and is always upbeat! I learned because I HAD to read to do well!! STUDY HARD, GET AN A!

Loved the set up of this course. All tests and quizzes were online and were straight out of the book. You MUST READ! The tests are open book, but if you haven't read the chapters, you will NOT find the answer. Some of the questions are gathered from inference, so you have to know "A" to answer "B." TAKE THIS COURSE!

Dr. Gonzales provides clear, crisp explanation over his lectures. However, most of his quizzes and tests are online and there is a long paper to turn in by the end of the semester. There is a lot of extra credit- do them please because it can change a letter grade to failing to passing! Textbook is needed and lots of note-taking!

This class require a lot of reading. I took him for the 8 week course , theres a quiz twice a week total 12 and 3 exams so you must stay on top of everything. Other than that, this professor is ok. I would recommend this professor for anyone to take.

This course is unfortunately taught online only and by this professor or Cammy Shay. I think you better off with this professor. However, you need to read the chapters. If you need help, go and talk to him at his office. He is very helpful and nice.

At first I was wary about taking Dr.G, but I came out satisfied. I took his 4wk online course and it was pretty easy. If you read the book and review the powerpoint notes, it should be an easy A or B. Granted, more time could be given for the quizzes; however if you don't make a good grade on them, you're just not trying. Google helps a lot too!

The summer class consists of 11 chapter quizzes, 3 tests, and a research paper. All the quizzes and exam answers can be found on quizlet. The only thing you have to put effort into is the research paper, which he grades kindly. He gives the class weekly updates and seems to care about his students. There's almost no way to fail this course.

I took his 8-week online class. Must read chapters in detail to pass quizzes. Term paper at the end of course on a political theorist - grading was reasonable. There is also a requirement to attend events on campus and work with a mentor. Overall great class!

Professor Gonzalez makes his lectures fun and engaging. The weekly assignments are straightforward, and with the help of Unstuck study and other study tools, I was able to ace this class. Definitely recommend for an easy A!

The class consists of 14 reading assignments. Each assignment takes about 30 minutes. You just need to complete the assignment to get 100s on them. There are 3 proctoring exams that have like 50 questions. The assignments are 60%, and the exams are 40% of your grade.
