He was awesome! I have never made a good grade in Hist until I took his class. His classes were very interesting. He makes it hard for you to NOT pay attention. This class was fun and I would reccomend taking one of his classes. I really enjoyed it.

This was the best history class I have ever taken.(I have dropped 3 because my teachers were so boring) But, all his exams are over in class notes. He tells you exactly what to study for. He makes it very interesting and easy to learn. Extremely helpful and understanding. You can tell he loves what he does.

Highly recommend. One of the best teachers I've ever had, and wants to see students succeed. You can't fail this class unless you try---he basically gives you every single tool you need to pass this class with almost no effort and still learn. Mr. Mosely is a great teacher he doesnt require the textbook as long as your in class everyday and write down exactly what he says and study the notes you will easily get an A. He does require 5 essays to be written 4 as part of the exams and a final 5 page research paper. You should definitely take him!

Before taking his class I was so terrible in history but his teaching method is the best ever! I'm taking his second history class and I wish he taught more classes because he is truly that great!!! Take his class! you won't regret it!!!!!

He is so incredibly helpful and gets to know you and your name. You don't need any book, just a notebook. He makes it very easy with the outline, keep your notes organized. Flash cards helped me get A's on his tests. He gives you everything you need to know, just keep up with the notes. FABULOUS teacher. I took him twice for a reason!

Mr. Moseley is the best teacher I have EVER had, hands down. Test are pretty easy if you study the notes. He tells you the essay topic the class before the exam so you have time to look up the info and he lets you use a note card for the essay. VERY loud, but it helps to remember what he is talking about. Already registered for 1302.

If you want to be awake during class, take him. He is passionate about his job. I loved his enthusiasm when giving the lectures. He is amazing and is always there for you when you need him. Replies to emails very fast. He is just the best History teacher ever.

Professor Moseley is BY FAR the BEST professor that any college student can take! I don't care for History, and never really paid attention but he did a great job informing us! He is very straight to the point, he gives you the exact information you need to know for his class. NO REASON to fail his class is so simple yet still very educating.

If don't take Moseley for history, missing out. Firstly, his lectures are interesting and never dull. He gives great tests reviews which makes the tests extremely easy (they are all MC, truefalse, short answer, and one essay). Gives lots of opportunity for extra credit. No homework. You only have to do one research paper. Awesome hippie man.

Mr. Moseley is the man! He is one of my favorite professor in the campus and his lectures are very emotional. He truly loves what he is doing and enjoys sharing history with his student. Very friendly and hilarious, he does assign a research paper that is 5-7 pages long, but other than that there is no hw. And his tests are pretty easy.

The best History professor!!

I enjoyed the lecture and i think he did a good job of making clear what you needed for the exam. Four Exams, no comprehensive final, and a five page research paper on your choice of Texas history topics. He references the Text Book usually once per class and lets you use it as a source in essays, but i got by without it.

I rented the ebook but found that I didn't really need it. His lectures, which are quite captivating, cover everything that will be on the test. I had him at 8AM and looked forward to going to class. He gives lots of chances for extra credit. Be prepared for 2 page papers for each test. They actually helped me study and retain info. Awesome class!

Took as a Summer class and he gave a great overview of the tremendous amount of info in the short time we had. Tests are easy if you study the study guides, the book was only used to follow along in class.

The agenda and expectations of the course are laid out for you day one. He lectures most of the class while you take notes. His tests cover the exact material you learn. There's few essays, but they are not unnecessarily arduous. Professor is approachable, and has an ease to his class that makes learning less of a task, and more of an adventure.

Gives you all the information for a test. Test are easy as long as you listen well to lectures and he is a very good grader.

I was lucky enough to register for his HIST 1301 class, because let me tell you, his classes fill up fast. And for good reason too. His lectures are engaging and easy to follow, and he's very clear about what to copy into your notes. He turned a subject I usually hate into something understandable and fun.

He hands you everything on a silver platter. -4 Exams -1 Research Paper -Extra credit for perfect attendance -Extra credit for a Movie review (a movie that he approves of course.) -Extra credit for a class survey at the end.

He is one of the best instructors I've had in my lifetime and I am in my 40's. Make sure you go to class because he gives you study questions and essay questions prior to the exams. If you fill out the study questions and write out your essay answers so that you retain them throughly and you will ace the exam.

Amazing professor, you literally need to write down everything he says in his lectures, maybe do some of your own readings out of the book chapters as well. Moseley loves his job! Lectures from start to finish but makes it very entertaining! He is very helpful to all! Very easy grade wise, 4 tests all have short 2 page take home essays. The first time I met Mr. Moseley was in the Library elevator. I had no idea he was a Professor, he is very kind and down to earth. I took his class the following semester and it was unlike any I had experienced so far. Every class is met with sheer passion and enthusiasm. You'll be entertained, learn a lot, and pass his tests easily if you show up.

So, your grade is based off of three tests, one final, and a research paper. The final is over the last three chapters and as long as you take notes you'll get an A in the class. Don't procrastinate on the research paper because it's suppose to be 5-7 pages long. I would highly recommend and in addition there are several extra credit opportunities.

I took Professor Moseley in both HIST 1301 and 1302 and oh man. He's very passionate about what he teaches. He lectures in a way that makes you interested and will never fall asleep in class. He is the best history professor you can probably take. He loves lecturing in class and gets very excited when he takes about Native Americans. Although, Vietnam is the hardest to talk about for him. Phenomenal instructor! He is very kind, passionate, and understanding. The workload isn't too heavy and he gives clear instructions on assignments. Mr. Moseleys class is all lecture structured by an outline. If you write down the notes he clarifies in the outline, you should have no problem passing the class! The content itself is a little boring, but he speaks in a way that makes it more interesting!

He's really passionate and he offers a few extracredit opportunities--including attending all the lectures. His zoom class only had 4 tests worth 90 eachand 4 essays to go with worth 10 each. On the essays, you need to reach a 600 wordcount, which he never specified when we asked, only said "several paragraphs" and gives no feedback on anything.

I took him for 1301&1302 and he's great! I took him over zoom both times and it was really easy. He has four exams and four essays, including the final exam. Each essay is opened up a week before it is due, and for the exam, he gives you an outline to fill out-he even tells you what's important to write! He even has a few extra credit opportunities

I took Mr. Moseley last semester for HIST 1301 and loved him so much that I took him again for HIST 1302. Easy grader and easy tests. Essays don't require any specific formatting. He gives 3 ways to earn extra credit. He's super passionate about what he teaches and the student getting the most from his class. Do yourself a favor and take Moseley!

This teacher made me really like learning about history. You can tell that he really loves what he does.

His lecture is almost story-telling style instead of cold hard facts, so it makes you feel more interested in history. He sometimes throws in personal anecdotes that are related to the materials. Taking good notes will definitely help you get good grades, especially on tests.

Amazing professor!! So sweet, easy papers to write. We had 4 tests with 4 essays the whole year. I took him for both US History 1 and 2, and made me love history. I am now a history major. Sadly there was no more classes I could take him with.

He has outlines & reviews ready for you to access so you can follow along easily. Follow his instructions and you will do well. He made history interesting for us. Professor Moseley is AMAZING! The only grades in class are exams with an essay. Literally just clearly answer the essay questions in ~500 words, you are guaranteed an A. For exams, just memorize the terms and you're golden. Every exam is 50% T or F, 25% multiple choice, 25% written vocab. He is fun and passionate! You will laugh in class!

My biggest mistake in school so far was not taking Prof. Moseley for HIST-1301. He makes history so exciting and more like it's a story than something boring and drab. One of the best professors I've had the pleasure of taking at Lakeview.
