prof. whit was awesome. he made the class fun and interesting and also made it go from 3 hrs to 1:30, to me that was great. he's open to any question and will take as long as you needhim to on anything. take his class it's fun and you actually learn.

he's kool, likes to **** around alot, take him, i suggest this professor... but one thing is that if ur not all that good in math and it's just not ur thing, dont take him becuz the way he teaches is as tho u already know it. in my opinion he's a great teacher,. but then again i dont know, i never had a problem in math.

hes a kool teacher, i like him. take him as a miniterm. he names all his students and calls them by their name, he just didnt have the guts to name :P hes a fun person and enthusiastic. try to act like u blend in tho. hes kool. homework, u only have to do like 75% and 10 labs at 35%. homework is OPTIONAL! take him for miniterm or summer

Keeps you interested in math and keeps you awake - makes learning exciting

Mr. Whitt is approachable. You can ask him anything and he's pretty honest. He's not boring and lame and tries to make the class interesting for everyone. You can't satisfy everyone, but I found him great on his good days and at least tolerable on his bad days. He's understanding and fair and knowledgeable about how to teach math in different ways.

I enjoyed prof whitt he made class intresting and super easy to make an A as long as you did your work. I didn't like math until I took his class I was able to understand with his teaching technique. I recommend him to everyone. I would take him again if needed.

I have taken him twice. I know what to expect in his class and since he knows me might have been a little easier to deal with him. He does like to get off topic but let's you know this the first day. I don't mind because it gives me a break. He is nice to look at. He gives you plenty of chances for extra credit. Good teacher in my book.

Mr. Whitt is awesome! I strongly recommend him - especially if math is not your strong point. He's extremely helpful and treats everyone with equal respect. If you do your homework and study -as you should with all classes - its an EASY "a"!

If math is "not your thing" this instructor will explain it until the entire class agrees they understand it. He is a "Math Angel" He has a great personality and treats all his students with respect and equality. If you do not not take his class you are a fool MATH 0306, MATH 0308 and MATH 0312 MON, WED 530-7 OR 7-830 sign up as early.

Prof. Whitt made you want to come to class not because math was fun but because he was very funny. He had more stories about gaming and social life than he taught about math. He did the examples from each chapter after talking about everything else under the sun. If you really need indepth teaching you might want to take someone else

Dont let the fact that he gets off topic prevent you from taking his class. Great Teacher! He answers all questions and explains each process in an understandable way. He will show you the easy ways to do each problem. Highly Recommended teacher. NOTE: If your taking a math summer class, be prepared to do major studying.

Great teacher! He gets off topic but it all ends up coming back and relating to math somehow, and he gets threw what he has to get threw on time! He is very understanding & explains math SUPER well! He goes over exactly what will be on the tests, and offers a lot of help! Overall, hes a great teacher and will do everything he can to help you pass!

Great instructor knows exactly what he is doing he talks super fast but if u ask a question he will go back and redo it all over for you. It was a pleasure being in his class you will do alot of test on mymathlab but as long as you do hwk you will be fine. Mr. Whitt taught me short cuts that I did not learn in high school. He does get off topic, but he is always in the computer lab & will stay to help you, he is a good teacher. if you complete your online labs & do the homework you will pass. He will even go over homework problems you had trouble with. Good Teacher !!

He is an awesome teacher. He goes fast but will slow down and explain if you need him to. He makes online video tutorials to help his students. All the homework is extra points toward your test grades. I have always struggled with math but he made it so easy. He is an awesome professor!

Mr Whitt is very helpful and teaches the basics so they can be mastered. his youtube is a must tons of great videos. Ive hated math my entire life but hes the first person to have made it enjoyable, hes very funny and keeps the class entertained. Complete the mathlabs and watch the videos you wont have any problems.

Mr. Whitt is a great teacher. He offers many resources to his students, including a YouTube channel in case you get lost with homework. If you don't understand something while in class, he will back track and repeat his steps over. He makes math enjoyable. I will definitely take his class again, and would highly recommended to any student!

He is very funny and keeps the class entertained! All of the labs (homework) are very important to do when taking any math class, he does offer extra points toward his test if you do well on the labs. If you come to class and follow along with the problems it is not very difficult.

He is very funny, he does get off topic a lot. He knows his stuff, homework was really optional as our grade was 100% test. He dropped the lowest test score and also let us retake a test of our choosing (final not included) I am taking him next semester for 0312

Strongly recommend to take his class, he always answers any problem, even you text for him messages.

I would highly recommend his class. He might be fast while teaching, but he will go back and slowly explain a problem if you ask. He isn't monotone when he speaks, so he keeps the class from falling asleep during lectures.

Great professor, with an excellent sense of humor. Gave the class an opportunity to retake a test and at the same time dropped the lowest grade out of 4 test. Gave us a lot of resources outside of class to study with. Has a youtube channel covering all math topics. Very interactive with students, must be self-driven. Get your arrows popping!

Math isn't my strongest subject so I dread taking College Algebra for years, so when I finally took it Mr. Whitt was my professor. He made learning enjoyable and connected with each of his students. It's been years since I have had a math class. Say about twenty-one years, and taking Mr. Whitt's class has been great! I could never understand math before but he makes it fun and very educational. He goes back over any material you don't understand until you get it. He will stay after class to go over material if you don't want to do it in class.

2nd time having to take Calculus. Math 1325. Professor Whit made it understandable and achievable. His lectures, extra videos and examples are very helpful. If you do the work, you will pass and have some actual real world knowledge that collides with math.

Mr. Whitt is undoubtedly my favorite professor that I have had. He truly is an outstanding instructor and I wish he could teach every course offered! If you have any struggles with math, I highly recommend taking a class with him, as he is super receptive to questions, and motivating. If you do your homework and study- your grade speaks for itself.

Mr. Whitt is a really good teacher. He is able to simplify the material to where you can understand it. I would definitely recommend utilizing him to the fullest by asking him as many questions. He has his moments where he can be obnoxious but this can be overlooked as his teaching methods are great.

if you want an A take this class. it would be really hard to fail it with prof Whittington. he provides extra credit. ALWAYS open to as many questions as you want during lectures. answers emails whenever he can. I wasn't sure who to pick to take precal from and now I'm grateful for my choice. (took him for precal)

Fantastic professor. I was nervous about taking this math class, but he made it enjoyable, and I always looked forward to his lectures because he made them enjoyable. He is a very unique professor because most are terrible, so taking him will be an unforgettable experience. I wish I could take him for Calc 1 because my current teacher is awful.

It would be difficult to get anything below an A if you do minimal work required. lots of extra credit. only required to do 50% of each hw assignment. 100s given to all discussions just follow instructions for them. I wasn't sure about who to choose as a prof for the class. i couldn't be more satisfied with my choice

Mr. Whitt is an AWSOME PROFESSOR!!!!. He states everything pertaining to the syllabus in the 1st or 2nd class CLEARLY. Drops the lowest test score. Only requires you to do 50 percent of the HW. Do the discussions and participate in class by asking questions. What more do you want? He is always willing to help, but you have to do your part as well.

Mr. Whitt was by far my best professor from HCC, he made the math understandable and was willing to take time in order for us to understand the things we had trouble with. Very engaging I will definitely take him again as an instructor.

Professor Whittington is the best math prof I've had. He doesn't mind to explain a topic multiple times, and he will review hw problems from previous lectures. He does occasionally go off topic but he will compensate with reviews and his own YouTube channel. Lots of homework but do half and you get a 100. Few questions on exams. Good overall.

Mr. Whitt was an excellent professor, Learning math was difficult for me but the lectures were fun and interactive. Very lenient, email him if you have issues and he will sort it out. drops lowest 5 homework, drops discussions. Very easy class to be honest.

I took him on summer 2024 Pre cal and he is the best teacher so far. Alot of extra credits, great inspiring lectures, dropped the lowest test score, just have to finish 50% of the homework and he gives a full grade for it at the end of the semester. I really wish he teaches Cal 1 so I can take it again 🙏. 10/10 highly recommending yal to take him

He is funny and chill, and his class is very easy. It is hard to fail, and he gives a lot of extra credit. However, I would not recommend him for engineering students or those planning to take Calc 2, since he only covers the basics and requires a lot of self-study.
