So far, Mr. Wilson has been one of my favorte professors since the start of my college career. Unlike many of the professors, Mr. Wilson knows his students. His classes are always fun, enjoyable, and very educational.

My best Professor/Teacher since Kindergarten. Very educational/Entertaining class. Professor Wilson will have you rolling because he is so open in his views and not afraid to tell his beliefs regardless of most popular beliefs at the time. Very Analytic

Mr. Wilson is funny, kind, pleasing, reliable, honest, and likeable by everyone. Its hard not to think of him as a great teacher. He has a different way of teaching that is easier to learn. Thanks Mr. Wilson!

This guy is a trip! He is a borderline **** and his class is a blast. It was the one class that I hated having to watch videos! I just wanted to hear him lecture! Very cool professor!

Mr. Wilson is great! But I wouldn't suggest him to anyone who is stuck in a high school mentality and likes it that way. He WILL make you think and defend your opinion or just let you know it doesn't matter. Do take his class if you don't like boredom!

COOL teacher. He makes class FUN. Test are open book and you can collaborate. No real homework. Attendance does not count towards grade. I would definately take again.

This teacher is very unprofessional and very arrogant. He is not a teacher that you go to for help if you are stuck on something in this course. He shows no consideration for the effort that a student puts towards their work, and has no grade scale.

This is not a good teacher to take for History. He makes you feel stupid when you turn in an assignment that not to his liking. He insults your work and does not give you help when ask for it. He treats you like you are suppose to know everything already.

I took this class online and I loved it. He is so honest and people need that. Life isn't always peaches and cream! Those who need a reality check need to take him to be brought back to the real world! Awesome professor!

For an online class he is rude, arrogant, very insulting, and gives ridiculous assignments. Bottom line… take someone else if you need an online class. Not sure how he’d be in a classroom setting but I’ve heard from others not any better.

He is very opinionated and not very helpful as far as notes go. I only went to class the first 3 weeks then realized it was a waste and ended up passing with a B. You have five days to take the tests and everything is online. Very easy!

Took him for 2301 & 2302, both A's. Very interesting and funny. He tells it like it is and doesn't sugar coat anything. Very intelligent and you realize it in his lectures. Test is online and he encourages collaborating with classmates. One essay, but easy if you don't wait till last minute.

he isn't pretty to look at but he is the easiest teacher that you will ever come across. tests are online and can be done with open book and classmates. attendance isn't important. if you're a procrastinator and want to get history out of the way, take him for sure.

First off, all of his tests are online and your given MORE than enough time to complete.Second, he reveals the true history of America that isnt in the textbooks, and doesn't give a sh*t as to what other people think of him.Third, he is a man on a mission, a mission to teach.

Oh Lord I love Mr. Wilson! He is a tough teacher, but a sweetheart and hilarious. He is brutally honest and makes you work. But he shows you he cares and is incredibly awesome!

Lazy, arrogant, rude, and ****. I didn't find there was ANYTHING good about this teacher - which is very unusual, because I typically see the positive aspects of people more than the negative. Very honestly, he is just a terrible teacher.

SUCKS A$S!! does not teach history AT ALL, just rambles on about useless crap. gives you tests online, but despite open book/notes, tests are very hard PLUS he makes you read stupid books. there is no passion for teaching left in this guy whatsoever. i've made As in all my classes so far, this guy, a B or even C is hard to reach. don't take him!!

Even in his online class, he was very unhelpful and did not respond to emails needing help.He assigns way too much reading material and he requires that you purchase the book he wrote...

Frankly, I don't know what the others are complaining about. I found that his Internet-based class was not at all difficult. You can work ahead and take as long as you want on the exams. Didn't work hard, and still got an "A". What else do you want?

Mr.Wilson's class was easy if you did the reading, there is a lot to read though. I love his online tests! They are so convient and when you come to lecture it is like you are at the David Letterman Show, he tries to inform and entertain. However if he doesnt post a grade on blackboard right away keep bugging him until he does,I had that problem.

All of his test are online its a good idea to have a group work together for his test he gives you all day to finish it. Not the easiest class ever but almost. All the questions come from the teacher in class make sure someone is there from the group.

hated his class with a passion! take his class if you really want to teach yourself history, b/c he sure won't! he's funny (sarcastic), but doesn't teach A THING. tests online; still x-hard b/c every answer has to be looked up since he doesn't teach. point-system (if you have an A on the test w/ 23p you're still screwed w/ a D or F on one w/ 275p)!

Talks a lot about the women's movement: wrote a book that you have to buy. Tests are all on-line with a short essay. Tests answers are out of book and mostly from his lectures, so take good notes. Doesn't care if you work in groups in the computer lab (or home) when taking test. This was a fairly easy A.

I had a lot of fun in his class! He doesn't require attendance so hardly anyone showed up. He's funny and all his tests are on-line. Read the book for the first couple of tests, but realized you can "google" most the answers instead. He also requires no research paper! I loved his class and would take him in a heart beat again!

Most interesting history class ever. Had him for two classes and would take again. Not for little kids looking to be spoon-fed. Socratic method - come to class ready with questions. He's very helpful and willing to meet outside office hours to help. Willing to discuss any topic broached. Dry sense of humor. I learned real history.

His class can be easy if you just absolutely love to read. Professor is not very helpful. He make you feel dumb when you ask questions. Very self paced. He gives assignments at the beginning and they are due last day of class. You never hear from him again after first day of class unless you call upon him. I don't recommend.

He answer a question with a question especially if he think it is silly. Online all we did is have at least 2 pages of questions clarifying the assignments. You post the essay online were everybody sees your paper and his comments...good or bad!!!! You better find a way of liking Hist and if you do not like it you hate it more.

He is great once you get to know his style. You can't take things personally. His test are open notes, open book, etc. How many teachers do that?

Mr. Wilson was an excellent teacher. His style of teaching is different than what I expected. Whenever he says, ACCORDING TO THE TEACHER in the middle of his lectures, it will be on the tests. TAKE NOTES IN CLASS! All his tests are open book. I will definitely take another History class with him.

Mr. Wilson is an awesome History teacher. I thoroughly enjoyed his class. Thanks to him I actually learned something about History (which I was dreading). You do have to pay attention and take notes. Write down everything he says because you never know what will be on his test. He is always there to help if you need it, just ask him!

Mr. Wilson is very easy. Online tests with multiple choice questions and 2 have essay portions. You have to read 2 books for his class if you wanna pass each test. He can be funny at times, but can also be monotone. Lecutres can be boring, but worth the easy A. =)

I took Professor Wilson through DL. He is very straight forward. 1301 - Four Essays 1302 - Four 40 question test all with 20 point short Essays. You can work in Groups and take the course at your own pace.

Easiest class I have taken yet! I am taking the internet course and the only work for a grade is 4 tests. The big plus is that there is no final.

ONLINE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! EVEN THOUGH YOU PRINT TESTS AND ITS OPEN BOOK WITH COLLABORATION ALLOWED, YOU STILL LEARN THE CONTENT. I BELIEVE HE HAS A METHOD TO HIS LEARNING PROCESS. YOU MUST UNDERSTAND THE READINGS TO DO WELL ON THE EXAMS.

only thing I didn't like was I was once told "talk to the people in the other class... stuff I put in the test I might not cover it in your class so if you talk to my other classes youll get it" I don't think thats really a great way to do it, sorry.

took both DL Although "open" book Q's range from easy to tricky Collaboration is allowed so MC Q's r simple. However, the essay portion will dictate ones grade from being a C or A. You need to have well organized thought. HINT THESIS SENTENCE in ur essay I think is critical in his evaluation.I havent spoken 2 him but he seems impolite via emails

& 1302.Initially didn't think much for his tests&essay.However,I've learned there is a reason behind his teaching style.You'll actually learn relevant US history and how our nation has transformed since its conception.Would take him again DL.If you just want regurgitate 'fact' based learning take someone else, if you want to learn take HIM!

Easy class except 4 essay u gotta work on that itll drive u nuts if u have a hard time putting ur thoughts on paperDoesn't seem like the friendly type, but he seems fair on grading the essays.Don't know what he's like in class, but I'm not surprised he told a student that they need 2 talk 2 other class 4 material he might not have covered in theirs

WARNING: Do not take online class if you are a procrasinator. This teacher is super lazy. I took his class online. All tests are due at the end of the semester. His tests are so hard that there is no time limit. If you do not like to read, RUN. There is no paper, because an essay is due with every test.

Good teacher. Only one deadline, but READ DIRECTIONS first. Don't lack off on the Essay part of the Exam. Good and Fair. Once again, if you are DL print out all information and READ THROUGHLY. Material is very interesting.

I took him for DL Hist 2. Professor Wilson allows you to print out his tests, and use the whole semester to complete them; however, he doesn't give you questions with answers in black and white. He makes you think, and you actually learn about the material. I recommend taking him, but I do not recommend putting his class off until the last minute.

He's earning money by not teaching. Students have to learn History on their own and take the exams. He has a poor grading policy on his exams and does not comment essays so you don't know what was wrong. His email responses were demeaning.

I took hist 2 online...and the class wasn't too tough, although it's my only "b" in over 67 hours. Some of the test questions are very vague, and the answers cannot be found in the book. There's an additional book to read as well. This class allows you to go at your own pace, but don't put it off until the end. Four tests with essays.

Horrible! If ask him a question, his answers will make you feel like an idiot. Some of the questions on the exams aren't in the book. I don't recomend taking Mr. Wilson.

So this was the first online class i have ever taken and it scared me from ever taking another online class! There was so much reading and 2 additional books. Although you can print the test and look for the answers, some of the questions were not worded clearly cause there was two possible correct answers, bottom line, Dont take the class!!

I guess if you took him in class maybe it would be alot easier, but I took him over the internet and none of the material was clear what so ever. The essays were outragously hard and impossible. If you are going to take this teacher don't take him over the internet

Mr. Wilson was not bad at all, I understand that he might appear lazy because he doesn't interact with the online class a lot,but I believe he just had a quadriple heart bypass,so I don't blame him for being in the back of the scene a little. Plus,he has an assistant and she is very helpful,I was very nice to him on emails and he was the same back.

This is the perfect class. The only assignments are the four tests. Four tests, no time limit, he lets you print the test and it's due the last day of class. All you need to do is read. Nothing more nothing less.

I took the DL class. The professor was sarcastic to some student's questions on Discussion Board but I found him to be funny. The class consisted of four tests with essays-equaling 20 points-and questions from the textbook, supplemental reader, and the professor's blog. Overall, the class was easy, although it does require effort.

The best part about the class is that you're given all the assignments on the first day of the semester and it is all due at the end of the semester. That way if you have other classes with some pretty harsh deadlines, you're able to fit this in whenever you need to. The exams are moderately difficult, but you get to use the book. Good class.

I love this online class. The class isn't easy but, it isn't hard either. If you are willing to apply yourself, it's easy to make an A. 4 tests with an essay question at the end of each test. Plenty of time to complete all of it. Mr. Wilson replied to emails and graded the essay very quickly. YOU WILL LOVE THIS INSTRUCTOR!!!
