Whatever is on the tutorial or assignments, will be on the midterms and finals but with different numbers. Don't read the lecture slides just focus on the questions and the intuition behind them. Solid professor, its pretty easy to do well. Did I walk away feeling like I learned a lot? (not at all). Speaks clearly, very approachable.

Your final is worth 50% so you better study your butt off for it. The assignments are worth slightly less than the midterms so you still have a chance to make up for a poor midterm mark. Doing practice problems from the assignment and tutorial are a must. Even though he posts all the notes, the examples are all theoretical instead of numerical.

Avoid if at all possible for ECON 209. Lectures consist of reading from premade slides (which he didn't write himself) which feel more like a brief overview than actual content. He goes over examples by stating a series of random, vague steps, giving the distinct impression he doesn't actually understand the questions-- so students certainly won't.

Horrible for ECON 209. Lectures use premade slides, tutorial questions use premade solutions, and the slides, lectures, tutorials, and textbook make little sense. Must have newest edition textbook for course to practice tutorial problems, which is the only way to study for exams. Exams seem to be graded arbitrarily. Wildly rude in office hours.

His lectures are horribly boring along with being practically useless as he simply copies and pastes the textbook into his slide. The tutorial problems are necessary to be done in order to succeed on the exams, yet his solutions are mostly wrong or incomplete. For the exams he gave no part marks causing majority of the class to fail.
