She makes the class fun, and explain concepts very well! Tests are not easy, but an A is possible. She'll always answer questions and make sure everybody understands. "Questions, comments or concerns" is her favorite line! Do Your Homework! She's great!

She is very upbeat and makes the class enjoyable. She also makes you very comfortable to ask for help and will explain anything you need to understand without making you feel stupid.

She was a great teacher. Always concerned about her students. Like any class though, if you dont understans you better ask, or she'll get you on it the next few examples. Never had any problems with the class but the tests. 15 questions at 7 points each and one for 2. Big problem if you get some wrong. But other than that shes great.

Latrica is extremly nice and very helpful, but creates extremly difficult tests. Nothing on them pertains to the homework and the questions are confusing. Your overall grade is calculated by your test scores. She also makes you do a huge project at the end of the semester.

Ms. Williams is a very good teacher but she is very "no BS". you're there to learn and she's serious about it. she's willing to help but you CANNOT slack off. sometimes she can come across as annoyed with you but she doesn't mean it that way. be prepared to study and make sure you know your stuff, she moves right along.

I took this class online. She responds quickly to email. The material is what it is...HARD, but she does constantly remind everyone via email whats to come and whats due. She was alright with me. You have to pass the review before you take the online quizzes. Unlimited times you can take reviews, 3 tries on the quizzes, 1 time for test.

I took her for statistics this summer. She is a great professor. The previous student must have a grind to ax. She explains the material very well and shows you how to do the work on the calculator. She also asks any questions, comments, or concerns. So ask a question if you don't understand. She's very patient and kind. She's great!

I just took her online statistics class and got an A. All the quizzes are open note/book, you have a week to complete them, and she drops two of the lowest quiz grades. She sends the class emails every week to help with the quizzes. She responds to emails very quickly. She is a great teacher!

I took her class both online and in the classroom. She's a great teacher but you must study. She explains the material well but statistics is just hard as hell to learn. You better study or you'll be unprepared for the test. Tests are fair and she is always there to help. If you don't study, it will reflect on your test grade.

This teacher is so funny. She makes me laugh almost every class. This class is not super easy, but it is not super hard either. You MUST study for all her tests or you will fail. She is the nicest teacher i've had. My opinion is TAKE HER if you have to take STATISTICS!

I took Professor Williams' Math for Re-Entry class. She's great. I hope she teaches Intermediate Algebra next Fall. She helped me understand Algebra and really helps everyone. Just don't be late: her pet peeve.

MFG1107 was an "experiential learning" class, so she just reviews the lesson and clarifies if you have ?, so I can't say how she would be if it were a class that req'd a lot of instruction. She's nice & makes herself available for ?The work is easy,but time consuming. Don't be late.

I took this class on-line. Make sure you buy a TI 84 calculator, she gives hand outs on how to use it to complete quizes. Homework was never collected the quizes and your mid and final are your only grades. Qizes can be printed and worked on before you have to take them, but they are hard.

Prof was great and was available for help with course and calculator by email or in her office. Hard class and would not recommend it for shorter summer session unless you are very good in math. Make sure you have and can work TI 83 or 84 calculator. Did not like the textbook but the CD that came with it was invaluable.

It is a hard class in itself!! You must first understand the concepts before you try and do the homework and the tests. This is not like other math courses where you plug in the formula's. The only thing you have to do in this class is follow the professor's tips. Those are the key to getting an A. The concepts are not difficult to understand once you have read the chapters and read her helpful tips. Easy class. I tool this class online and got an A.

This professor is freaking hilarious, very entertaining. Class is hard but you really have to study in order to understand the concepts. TI-83/TI-84 is a must-have. The tips she provides are invaluable for the tests. Highly recommended.

Very easy professor because she actually is willing to help you. For online class gives you weekly lecture notes with STEP BY STEP directions on how to do the math problems. You learn how to do everything on a graphing calculate (minimal paper/pen). Take her for a good grade. Class is final& midterm(each worth 40%), and some online quizzes.

I took this class online. It was much better then in class. She is VERY quick to respond and is always checking to make sure her students are doing well. There is 1 quiz a week but none of the quizzes are actually due until the midterm, and then the final. Easy A!!! She also teaches you how to solve almost everything using your calculator.

I took ele stat. Great teacher very helpful, the test revolve around her examples on the board but if u have a class that want to work out of the textbook you may have trouble comprehending her test She will give a pop quiz if u ask. Ms Williams was an awesome teacher! She did things step by step and was very clear and went at a pace where it was very understandable. She didn't get mad when people asked questions. She was very helpful and I would recommend her to anyone! She's also really funny! I enjoyed going to this class :)

Took this class online and did well. If you read the chapters and fully utilize the teachers handout sheets, you will do well. Midterm and final are on campus proctored, but are open book/notes. She also gives you an alternative final that you can do at home instead at your own pace inplace of the final. I def recommend this prof.

I've decided to transfer from another class and I went for a "test drive" today, and was very impressed. I love the way she gets her point across. She is very interactive with the class. To top it all off, very "easy on the eyes"! PICK THIS TEACHER IF YOU WANT TO LEARN AND NOT GO FOR A TOUR OF THE TEXT BOOK!

Prof. Williams knows what she's talking about. Will answer any questions you may have about homework, and will spend all the time in the world to help you if you happen to be struggling. If you do your homework like you're supposed to, then you will do fine in this class. College isn't for slackers! 5 tests and a final. Lowest grade dropped.

I am currently taking her online stats class. So far I love her. The "helpful tips" she posts on each chapter is what gets me though the class. she breaks down the calculator and everything. she does not collect weekly homework but there is a quiz each chapter. i will take her again!

Online. 14 quizes (no due dates)7 due by midterm, 7 due by final-not timed-open book-can print quiz & submit at later date. I did them all in 1 day (100% on all). No book. Midterm & final is a 200 word paper-not proctored & online. Offers extra credit. She is MORE than willing to help and quick at answering emails. Prof. Williams + MGF 1107=A!

AWESOME class! You work at your own pace. Attendance taken 2 times during the semester, otherwise you do not have to go to class. Midterm and Final are short essays-no problem. Very fair grader and cares about her students. I never comment on the hotness of anyone, but I must say...she is soooo pretty!!

One of the best Math Teacher at SPC. Answers E-mail quickly. Very helpful, likes her job a whole lot, and cares about her student. I did this class online and it wasn't a cake walk but she sends you tips, reminders about due assignments, and really cares about her students. I think she can get any student through her class with a passing grade.

I took her online class in the summer. She is a great teacher, all quizes are open book. For the midterm and final you bring your own paper with notes on it and she provides formulas. The book is useless. Only thing that got me though the class was her "Helpful Tips" doc. Take her in class and you will get an A.

I have to say that she is one of the best teachers I have ever taken at this school. Very clear, helpful, to the point. She is very thorough and you will actually walk away with knowledge on statistics. I took her for a shortened summer course and couldn't have asked for a better way to start back again to college. You will have to do homework!

I love Professor Williams, I am terrible at word problems but she dumbs it down for you. She truly loves the subject and wants her students to do well. there are 4 test 30 multiple choice and the final if you average an A on the four test you don't have to take the final

She cares a ton about her students. On the other hand, she moves super fast and gives the lamest and easiest examples in class then expects you to pick it up and teach yourself the hardest examples. Likes too move 100 miles an hour.If you like to teach yourself then take her.

This isnt as easy as people make it seem. I attended class every single day and did all the homework and still struggling. She moves super fast and gives basic simple examples( like 2+2=4) and expect your to solve the harder more complicated stuff on your own. Only reason why it has good ratings is the practice test is the SAME as the real.

Amazing teaching techniques. Prof. Williams has a spectacular way of writing equations on the board that are simple, clean and are in perfect note form. TAKE HER CLASSES, you will be glad you did.

Professor Williams is a great teacher. I was hoping she taught Liberal Arts I but she doesn't. A text book was not needed for this class. She provided all of the needed websites and info. I took this class online and when I had a question she would answer it right away. Love this teacher and definitely would recommend her.

I enjoyed taking this online elementary stats class. The way she sets it up is very organized. i love that the quizzes are unlimited timing although you only have one chance. lowest quiz scores omitted. Her helpful tips are the best! have actually been using those in place of the book recently...exams are just like the quizzes!

4 Grades, two of which are tests, which she encourages you to print out ahead of time and then fill out online, most of the answers are so easily found online and she gives you half the semester for each one. The other two grades are small 750 word projects, one is your choice from about 50 different topics, the other is a stock portfolio. GREAT!!!

This class is a must if you need an easy math class! There's only 4 grades, 2 of which are open book exams that you get to spend half of the semester on and the other 2 are really easy projects. She's also a great at entertaining the class so you're never bored. Def recommend!!!

Prof. Williams is a great teacher. She's funny & at times she'll let you get out of class half an hour early depending on how short or long the lessons are. She is VERY organized when writing notes on the board which is helpful to me. If you don't understand something she is willing to help out even on test day, as long as it doesn't take too long

Her online Statistics class has no graded homework and 10 chapter tests that are split in half. First 5 tests aren't due until the midterm, the last 5 tests aren't due until the final exam. You will not pass this class without the $100 calculator, unless you prefer to write out page long expressions. No open book on midtermfinal. Easy class still.

Ms. Williams was very helpful. But taking an online stats class is hard work. I passed because she helped me. Yes, the midterm and final are worth 40% each. If you don't like your grade weighted heavily, take someone else. She does offer a 4% bonus opportunity as a curve. Responds to emails quickly and cares about her students.

I've taken Professor Williams for three of my math classes. What I love about her is that when she teaches she will stop for questions, but if those questions lead off topic she will refer you to her office for extra help. She's funny yet no-nonsense. As math can be a difficult subject and my worst, I took the class face-to-face, not online.

I have nothing but positive things to say about this professor and the course. NO complaints at all. I was reluctant to take the course because the midterm and final exam were weighted 80% but the course was VERY clear and easy to follow. I recommend taking Professor Williams for this course. The top prof. at SPC for any kind of math. She really cares about her students and wants them to do well. She provides plenty of resources to help u understand each topic she teaches. She was by far the best! I took statistics online after failing the in-class portion. Her videos and tutorials were VERY helpful. For those saying she never allowed cheat sheetsformulas obviously didn't pay attention to her e-mails as she says they are all at the bottom of the test if you scroll down. This professor is crystal clear and wont make any student feel stupid or singled out if heshe doesn't understand a problem. She has a great way of breaking down steps, and making students think outside of the box. It sucks that there is only 4 grades (doesnt matter for which course u take her) but she lets you work in groups for 2 of the grades.

The best math class Ive ever taken at SPC. The first A I got in a math class. I really liked the course. 2 projects2 tests. We could pick a project title to present. We had weeks to work on the tests and projects. Tests are not timed. The class was interesting and fun! I dont see how anyone couldnt like this course.

To comments like, "she doesn't teach us anything" DUH! That is the way Liberal Arts math classes are set up, which she CLEARLY explains the first class. 2 test (you have the half a semester to do them...), 2 presentations (1 is 20mins 2nd is 5mins). Ms Williams is a super nice, down to Earth person. Show up, pay attention, do extra credit. Easy A.

Definitely my favorite professor. As long as you show up to class and pay attention you can pass this class. she does so many examples for every problem. Whenever you need help she is open to help you. so funny in class! if i could take her for another math class i would!

Great class, the only things that matter are the 10 or so chapt. tests and the two exams(exams are 90% of class). At your own pace, she is very helpful. What you learn in the HW(not graded) will be whats on the tests and the exams. Easy to learn the material, even if math isnt your strongest, she gives multiple choice so you have at least 1/4 chnc.

What can I say? She is by far the best teacher I have ever had. She really gets excited on the job with a personality to boot! She loves what she does and works hard after hours to help her students. She may be hard but she really is the best.

I took Professor Williams for Intermediate Algebra and College Algebra using ALEKS program. She is super funny and a great professor! She helped me a lot with understanding the material and is very knowledgeable. I recommend her 100%!! If you take her you won't be disappointed! She cares about her students grades and will answer emails quickly.

You can really tell prof. Williams really cares about her class and the success of her students. She expects a lot out of her students, but gives back and she always stayed after class to help me with some material I didn't get. Makes you work for the grade, but would definitely recommend as someone is who is bad at math. I didn't like ALEKS tho.

Prof. Williams was great! You could tell that she really cares about her students. I had two projects and two online tests. That was all. Her grading was very clear, I knew exactly what she wanted on the presentations.

This course uses ALEKS. It's a software that you can access from your computer, tablet or even smartphone. It is self explanatory and super fun way to learn. I can't believe how much I learned using it in little pieces at a time. Total grades add up to 600+. 100 for ALEKS. 400 for 5 quizzes, and 100 for final exam. Ms. Williams was a gem.

This course uses "ALEKS" for work. Of course, Professor Williams is nice, no complaints--she helps when you need it. But, I just want to say for anyone who struggles with math, this course basically fills in all the holes that prevented you from doing well in the past. At least for me it did. ALEKS makes it much more easy to learn the material!

Professor Williams is great; she cares about her students and always provides good feedback. The course is very laid back and much of it is prompted by self-learning. There are two projects and two online tests which are open-note, open book. Classes are very non-traditional in a great way, and I loved the flipped classroom implementation.

Ms. Williams is awesome. During this course we used the online ALEKS program which teaches you the actual math and Ms. Williams is more like a tutor available to you when you are in class. She is available by email if you need her. You will absolutely need to do a lot of work inside and outside of class and study hard to pass.

ok so there is 6 exam modules mmL( 3attempts for each1) that are 50% of your grade; mid term& final is the other 50% (proctored you must bring your own ti 83 or 84 calc for these tests.) Thats it. Its weird math but sorta easy.

She is overall the most amazing professor you will ever have in your lifetime.. think I'm being dramatic? She opens up the entire course from day one so that you can get ahead and complete tests and basically finish the class whenever you want. Her ALEKS course has helped me so much! If you follow the instructional videos and take the practice quizzes it's an easy A. The class starts out hard, with a lot to do the first couple of weeks, but then after that it's a breeze.

I took Professor Williams online course MGF1107. Clear grading criteria, graded on 5 unit tests (lowest dropped), Miterm, & Final. Have to do 60% of homework to open Unit tests. If you do the homework, youll pass! I never thought Id pass a math course; not only did I pass, I got an A. Tons of course content and material provided.

Took Math Liberal Arts 2 with her. It was a blended class so there really weren't any lectures but she is always there if you need help and does a good job explaining things. She has a great sense of humor too which is always appreciated. You'll have to do your best because she will not round your grade under any circumstance.

She's an amazing person but I wouldn't take it again since I much rather take a lecture class for higher level math. If you got time outside of class and is good with learning just by reading then yeah take the online class. You can even finish early but if not I suggest taking a lecture class but she does help if you're stuck on something.

Professor Williams was amazing for Liberal Arts two online ! She made everything seem convientient and overall communicated consistently if yu had any questions ! I really suck at math but Professor Williams made this subject seem interesting ! Overall would take her again!

I absolutely LOVE Ms. Williams. I took her 3 different times and the one time I didn't take her I failed and when I took the class again with her I passed with a B+. She was always available in her office and she helped me tremendously and I am terrible at math. 10/10
