Dr. Adams was passionate abt biopsych which made the class fun! This was a hybrid class, and therefore required helpful online activities. Her lectures were clear and organized, I was able to understand everything the first time she taught it. Tips: show up to class, actively take notes, save the power points and most importantly, read the book!

Dr. Adams is a very passionate psych professor. Every week there's discussion, short essay, quiz, optional easy EC assignment. I definitely recommend doing EVERY extra credit assignment - only worth 3 pts but they saved my grade in the end! READ the chapters, save the powerpoints. Final was very tough, but it's open note. Not an easy A.

Dr. Adams was a great professor. She teaches the material well and is very organized. Her class was also very easy. As long as you go to class and take notes, you can easily get an A. Exams are multiple choice with most of the questions coming straight from lecture and 2 essay questions which she gives you beforehand!!

She was a great professor. I easily passed her class with an A. She gives a test almost every 2 weeks, but there are study guides for all of them. The test aren't hard. She also gives 2 homework assignments that are due on test day involving the book. She is very organized. She is also nice and will give give extra help if you need it.

There is a lot of reading to do since tests are based off lecture and the book. My best recommendation on the tests is to take the study guide and be able to define what it is, possibly who came up with a theory, and be able to understand it in context if applied. Her scheduling always stays the same that it says on the syllabus.

She's funny, passionate, and she knows her stuff! I absolutley recommend her 100%. Her tests are formated weirdly but if you get fimiliar with the definitions, learn the theories that are discussed (she loves theories), and READ the chapters in textbook at least 2-3 times, you'll do fine. However, her study guides don't really help, but study the text and study lecture slides and you'll pass without a doubt.

LOVE DR. A dams! She one of the few teachers that actually cares. Her lectures are clear, Iv'e token her for 2 psychs and I don't plan on changing psych teachers. She emails back fast, always open to meet and helps you get the grade you want. Tough class due to tough material but put effort & of course you'll get the grade you want, Recommend her!

I took her for general psych and now Im in her biological psy. She explains the material very well and will help you and answer any questions you have. If you are failing and don't know what to do, she will look at your grade and tell you what you need to work on. Simple! I recommend her 100% (By the way.. Reading the textbook is essential!)

I absolutely love Adams, I've had her for two semesters and she is an amazing teacher all around and will help you when you need it most. She is very lenient and if you show that you're hard working and willing to learn she will ultimately improve your grade. I highly recommend her for any psychology class, You will not be disappointed.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Dr. Adams. She genuinely cares about her students. She is clear with what she expects on assignments and tests are based off of lecture and the textbook. I got an A with her and she made Abnormal psych my favorite class up to date. Please take her if you can. Her lectures are very interesting and she is wonderful just all around.

Showed up for the first two weeks. Never came back, read the book at home, came back for tests, passed with near perfect and perfect scores every time. If you read the book and study it, it is more than she goes over in class. She just needs to test what she lectures on, because there is still no point to showing up to her class.

I took this class online it was simple if you do the work you will get an A. I missed a few assignments so I got a B but it wouldn't be hard to get an A. Her tests are done with the lockdown browser that was the worst part.

To be honest with you, I would get low C's in each test.... including the final, and ended up passing with a B. I'm sure if I would have studied, I could have gotten an A. It's really not that bad tbh. Just try and give it your all from the beginning and you'll get an A. I promise.

I adore Dr. Adams. she is so amazing and her lectures are great! even though you sometimes say the wrong answer she doesn't shut you down. I highly recommend her!

I took her online class. It was not that hard but at the same time, you need to work for your grade. She is very clear on the grading scale. Some what a lot of work but this was because I took the class in the short term. I would take her again.

She is amazing. She makes it super clear what is expected of you and if you need help she is there. She is very clear about her grading criteria and doesn't round up grades because of it. Her work is easy as long as you pay attention and do what is expected. Easy A if you just show up and do the work.

Professor Adams has by far been one of the best professors that I've had at norco! She makes lectures very clear and it her online work is easy but because her lectures tell you everything. This class is an easy A and fun!

She is a great lectur'r enthusiast. I personally never showed up to any classes besides for exams. All of her exams were easy if you read the book a few times. I ended up with a 100% in the class and it was fun learning. The book she suggests is very well written and for herself she trys to make it as fun as possible, would take her again.

First of all, Dr. Adams is one of the best professors that I have ever taken. Why? She knows exactly what she's talking about and HOW to teach it. She's always looking out for the student's best interest and is more than willing to help you out if you ask. Overall, her homework, quizzes, and tests will help you in the long run. She's so much fun!

Read the chapters at least 3-5 times! And go to her office hours before frequency, association, and casual project essays. You're going to be in a group all semester so try to get along with the people you're with. Also do all the RAT's they actually help out with your grade at the end. Good luck, this class is tough! Honestly, I couldn't have been happier to go to class and participate. She's engaging and well spoken. Definitely a real gem in academia. If you ever get the chance to take her, DO IT.

Bio Psych can seem overwhelming, but getting an A is definitely possible. She posts her powerpoints online and required us to bring a bluebook full of notes to each test. The book is very well written and I HIGHLY recommend reading each chapter to fully understand the material. She's very willing to answer questions & always enthusiastic to teach

Dr. Adams extremely down-to-earth and always available to assist you. Lecture consists of four multiple choice exams covering about three chapters each. Lab applies the material learned in lecture by gathering and calculating data in JASP. Take good notes, ask questions, complete all assignments, and you'll for sure ace the course!

Amazing! Bio-psych was a tough class but her lectures are soo helpful! She's thorough and very caring. She answers all questions with such love and respect. The tests are difficult but points from the online quizzes and the notes really boost your grade. Plus it really helps you study.

She is a very nice, passionate prof. who always has a smile. For her PSY-1, there is more workload such as inquizitive, zap lab, tests, etc. but her tests are easy-fair: Her PSY-2 has less workload (only quizzes and notes) but her exams are harder, so read the book very thoroughly.

Dr. Adams is a wonderful professor! She gives many opportunities for extra credit, if she sees the class is struggling she works on it. I had her for Research & Methods/Psycho biology and there is opportunity to work in a group. Online quizzes that can help your grade! Lets you take test twice, without notes and then with notes.

Dr. Adams is one of my favorite college professors. She's really encouraging and wants her students to succeed. If you want to learn something, take this class. If you are lazy and think you're going to get by cheating, you can't. She writes all her test questions carefully so you can learn all the objectives. She's one of the kindest professors.

Adams was so so so wonderful. Constantly asks if everyone is ok and will go over things a million times. She also put resources online to help with more lecture videos. I was so nervous to take this class but her passion was wonderful.

I was not the biggest fan of this subject, so it was hard to stay motivated, but she really sets you up to succeed. Despite not enjoying the subject, I liked her as a professor. Would recommend.

You only have to show up 80% of the time and she allows you to either have a notecard or an 8 1/2x11 paper as a cheat sheet for her exams and you can use them on the final depending on the class. The chapter summaries are easy and add up in the end. You honestly dont really need the book, her slides are enough

Dr. Adams is such a kind-hearted person who cares about her students' academic growth. The material may be difficult to grasp, but she goes the extra mile by simplifying concepts and clarifying before moving on. Given the difficult subject, the textbook will be your best friend, as Dr. Adams will make you work hard for an A.

Good and friendly lecturer who knows her stuff and happily answers questions posed on the subject matter. She is very systematic; classes and homework follow a weekly routine. In my class, she allowed a page of notes on exams, and the final was not comprehensive. I learned more from her than I did from the e-text.

Dr. Adams is an amazing professor who is very knowledgeable in the field of Psychology; she goes the extra mile for her students in terms of office hour availability, going over material, and giving feedback. I truly recommend this class to both Psychology and Non-Psychology majors as it will prepare you for the Cal State and UC Level.

I took 2 psych classes with Professor Adams. She is a great professor. If I remember correctly, on the tests you were allowed to have a sheet of paper front and back for notes.

I took Dr. Adams general psychology class online in the winter and it was fantastic. Very brief and organized, since it was winter everything was much more condensed, so we did two lessons a week. A usual week would be two discussions and two quizzes which were about 20 questions. As long as you did the reading you should be fine!

Professor Adams is a wonderful & positive teacher. In comparison to microbiology and anatomy&physio, her class is a breeze. There shouldn't be any reason for anyone to fail as she allows a cheat sheet to be used on her exams. Her lectures are interesting and her voice is easy to listen to. You have to attend at least 80% of classes. HW is easy too.

I took Dr. Adams for Psy-1 (winter) Very easy going as long as you keep up with class participation and assignments given you will pass.

My first honors course and it was a fairly easy A, you really do not have to show up to class because I spent most of my time reading the book to study for the exam, only just showed up for important things(presentations, discussions, etc.). Other than that she is extremely nice and wants to make sure you succeed in her class, would recommend.

A lot of online quizzes, and discussion boards. Go to SI if they offer it because it'll help reinforce what you learn in class. Lectures are long and full of information, printing the slides for notes is the best way to go. Find people to study with so that it helps you. She sometimes allows 1 cheat sheet for a test, so use it wisely. Good luck

This course is very challenging but highly interesting! The class does discussion boards as well as online timed quizzes. You must put major work to see results you are proud of but it's so worth it! The material was interesting but difficult. Professor Adams is wonderful at taking time to further explain and is very easy to see outside of class.

Best professor I've ever had. Reading the textbook is extremely helpful for tests, but you'll actually enjoy reading it. Lectures are NEVER boring. She's extremely gifted at making lectures interesting. If you think you're not good at biology... you'll do just fine in bio psych because she teaches so well.

For this class, reading and having good communication skills is key. Their is a lot of homework meaning that the homework is annotations or discussions. The class was easy but as long as you followed directions.

as an online course it was enjoyable to learn about biopsych, because I was interested in it. textbook chapters annotatedthrough perusall with a book club reading. total for boook package online was like 45 dollars. Wednesday annotations and book club post due, weekly chapter quizzes, and midterm and final not cummulative. I like thow she teaches.

I really like Professor Adams as she was very passionate about psychology. She is clear and make new things extremely easy to understand. As long as you read, you will do good. Pay attention to the lectures as well. You do get 3x to retake a quiz! I loved that with no timeframe. Also, exams are timed, however you are given more than enough time.

First class I've taken in years. I was little confused at first with the system she used for annotations and packback for reading assignments but quickly got used it and found it quite easy to navigate. I loved her recorded lectures! She was very thorough and clearly enjoys the subject she is teaching. 3 chances on quizzes and 2 on tests!

Great professor, her lectures are interesting and the way she explains the material makes it easy to understand. She also gives you multiple quiz and exam attempts.

Pretty chill class, every week the assignments are the same and just move with the chapters. Dr. Adams is extremely open to answering questions and having various discussions on the material. Offers lots of studying options/EC. Overall easy class!

Loved this professor! Super sweet and really wants her students to do well. Requires an online textbook but I believe access to it was free (if its not then it was pretty inexpensive). Took this over winter and workload wasnt too much, the only time consuming part was having to read the entire chapter and make annotations. Take her shes the best!

Dr. Adams is very sweet and caring. She tries to make the class as easy and straight-forward as she can. There's no getting around it, bio-psych is a difficult class, so it's really important you don't fall behind. Dr. Adams was easy to get in contact with and will help you every step of the way if you need it. Exams were HARD, but you can do it!

Took her in person for Spring. She is an amazing professor and is very helpful and is very clear in her lectures. The information itself is hard to learn, but that's just bio psych, she will help you try to understand the info. The text book is necessary and will need to be read sometimes. No group projects or papers which is very nice.

Took her Psy1 class. Graded annotations on the online textbook as well as weekly discussion posts. Each quiz is 50 questions long (Open book if you use another device. Can't do it on the same browser. It will log you out.). Score at least 90 pts on each quiz to secure an A. No essays or projects to do. Thank goodness!

Took her in the accelerated fall 6-week semester. If you need psy1 definitely take it with her, her lectures and assignments were clear.. Just annotating the online textbook, watching lectures, and taking the quizzes. Quizzes can be hard, but she allows one retake, and if you have good notes you'll be fine! She really cares about her students!

Amazing professor, honestly. Answers all your questions and engages well in discussions. Assignments are easy, mainly consist of annotations, quizzes, and your exams. She doesn't grade harshly either, and understanding of spontaneous inconveniences.

Professor Adams is lovely overall, i enjoyed her lectures as she taught with so much inspiration it sucks you in. She cares about her students and always provides support for those who need it. Be sure to study well for her exams days before instead of last minute! I recommend taking her classes.

I got an A in every assignment, but the tests were insanely hard. She uses Lockdown Browser with a Webcam! Beware!

A lot of reading to do and most of her lecture videos were longer than an hour then taking notes can take ages to complete. She does though explain things well in her lectures. Her test can get hard and I think have some questions that weren't in her material. She also uses lockdown browser with a mic and video cam.

Dr.Adam's is one of the best psych professors on campus! she is very thro in lectures and always answers any questions. Workload is light, only have 1 quiz a week and 3 exams total. She is willing to work with you and help you understand

Adams is a good professor; she does give a lot of homework, but if you divide your time accordingly, you will pass this course with no problems. Her exams are very hard, and you have to download a browser extension that records you as you take the exam so she knows you are not cheating. As long as you do the work you will be fine.

Dr. Adam's was very nice, she replied to emails very quickly and gave me good answers to any questions I had. Her course was very heavy on reading and knowing the material/key vocabulary. I think as long as you really read and understand the textbook you'll pass, her lectures were good but kind of hard to follow alongside the textbook.

Your grade relies heavily on how well you perform on your exams. She provides an online version of the textbook and PowerPoint slides for each chapter; however, there is a significant amount of information to memorize. She replies quickly to emails and is compassionate about teaching. She's also great about making any accommodations if needed.

She is very kind and cares about her students. I passed PSY1 very easily with an A, but had trouble in biopsych with the harder material. Her presence is very sweet on the Norco campus, and I wish I had more professors like her.
