She really is an awesome professor, I stongly recommend her. Her tests are straight to the point and she makes the class interesting! No need to buy the book her notes and powerpoints you won't need to!

By far the best professor that I have had thus far at molloy. She has a real passion for what she teaches and it shows! She makes the class interesting by relating a lot of what we learn to real life. The tests are directly based off what you learn in class so attendance is very important. I would ABSOLUTELY suggest anyone sign up for her class!!!

350 words aren't enough to express how great Prof. C really is. She makes nutrition feasible. She gives 2 exams and a final but tells you what to expect for each exam. There's also a diet journal and debate but that's not so bad. Don't waste your money on the textbook b/c you won't need it. Her powerpoints and notes are all you need to do well.

This is one of the best Molloy has to offer. I took Nutrition as an elective due to interest, and Prof. Candelaria made it one of the BEST classes I have taken! She is well spoken, concise and extremely helpful. Take notes, do what's asked, and you will do very well! I wish I could take her for more!

Nutrition for nursing majors. She is so intelligent and passionate about teaching and nursing (esp.O.B.), and it shows in how she keeps the class engaged during her lectures. She really makes the material interesting, and gives great reviews before tests. If I could take her for any other class, I would.

print out her powerpoints before each class and take notes. She comes across like a friend giving you advice on what to eat. But her friendly advice is on the test! take good notes along with studying her powerpoints and you'll do great.

They are easy to understand, fine, but the questions on the test are in-depth material that was not covered in her simplistic lecture. She was a great professor for nutrition but not PEDs. I have great respect for Professor Candelaria. She is an excellent teacher as well as mentoradvisor. She teaches us in a way where we actually feel inspired to learn. She is a busy mom who is currently finishing her PhD- and we still get 100% from her. Her class is fun and engaging - I may even think about going into PedsOB after this class.

She tells you exactly what to study for the exams, and the way she lectures, makes you remember things for the exams. Everything comes from her lectures and straight from her power points, so you don't need to waste money buying the textbook. I took this in the summer, only 10days, very easy and you actually learn a lot.

She is a nice professor, knows her stuff but is very unorganized and came 20 minutes late to every class. Tests are more in depth than her lectures, so I would read the textbook for further clarification and take practice tests online, in the text, etc.

Not sure where that last rating came from- untrue as I took the same class. Prof. C is on time and is highly organized- loved the class and learned a ton. Great professor- caring and supportive. She wants us to succeed and is always there for us- wish more teachers were like her. Take her if you can get in to her class.

Took peds and ob with Prof. C. Classes weren't easy- a lot of information but she helps you to understand. For some classes she sends us panopto lectures and uses class time for case studies and conversations on current topics which was different but ok. My friend asked for extra credit and she didn't give but gave a Skype extra help session to her

I had to work hard for my B+ but I really learned from her. She is kind and caring and very approachable.

Prof. Candelaria makes the material super easy to understand by pulling in her clinical experience into teaching. She has a life outside of her class and understands we do as well. Study slides and some of the text for quizzes.

Dr. Candelaria is so motivating she is a great warm welcome to the nursing program and makes you happy to be beginning your journey in nursing. Her test are straight forward but don't just study the areas of focus, know your stuff its pretty common sense stuff. She always gets grades back fast. I had Candelaria for NUR 129. She is a very sweet lady and is willing to help you if you need it. The class itself is very easy and she knows that it is so she won't make you do crazy amounts of work. There were a total of 3 exams, 1 interview assignment and 1 annotated bibliography. Attendance was not mandatory.

Dr. C is awesome. I love the way she teaches. She comes off like a friend just talking to you yet you don't realize how much you are learning. She is caring and kind and makes class fun. Highly recommended. My class begged her to teach critical care but she's all about mommies and babies.

Took her for Bio 247 and Nur 229 and I would be lying if I said I paid attention, but her test questions are easy and from the lecture slides. Once you figure out how she words things and how she can ask a question, the class is easy. She held a review class of the first 3 exams before the final, which was consisted of all the old material. Take!

Patho is not an easy class but if you keep up with readings and practice questions its not that bad. I hope to have her for OB.

Dr Candelaria presented the material in a way that was easy to understand- I will take her again for 349/359. The paper was a diet journal which was tedious but not that difficult.

Took Candelaria for both 247 and patho, and I would def take again. She has a lot of information on her slides and did send us a few panoptos which I like because I can listen over and over. I would recommend practice questions before her exams. The final was cumulative but heavier on new material. Take her if you can get in

Best class! I was undecided on what I wanted to do after grad but after this semester I know I want to be an OB nurse. She is fantastic and enthusiastic and tells the best stories to help you remember things. She is an inspiration as a nurse and person.

Shes simply the best take her if you can get in she makes class fun and even has me thinking about doing research someday. Shes also really cool and laid back and I learn great that way

I just took her for OB and now we are starting pediatrics and it has been a wonderful half of the semester so far. She is caring and kind and goes above and beyond for her students not to mention she keeps you engaged during lecture with her funny stories in which youre actually learning so much. Id take her again for sure!

TAKE THIS PROFESSOR FOR AS MANY CLASSES AS POSSIBLE. By far one of the more caring professors in the Nursing department. She cares about your grades and is understanding since she gets how hard nursing school actually is. Her tests do require you to study but she uploads powerpoints that are straight to the point.

She is younger than most professors at Molloy and remembers what its like to be a student so she is fair and she is approachable. I had an issue with exam 2 when my son was sick and she was very accommodating and even offered to do an extra help session on skype with me.

Def take her for nutrition . The class is not difficult if you take good notes. Exam questions come straight from the notes and one project which is time consuming but not hard. She tells funny stories making class more enjoyable. She is an inspiration as a nurse and a professor I wish there were more prof like her at Molloy.

I dont know where to start. I literally love this professor. So sweet, caring, and only wants the best for her students. I took bio 2470 and nur 2290 with her and she made the class as simple as possible. Study her blueprints and you will do amazing. Easy classes as long as you listen to hear and put in a little work. I dont like online learning and had to study hard but I got a B+ and some of my friends got an A. Take her she is kind and fun and a really sweet lady.

Highly recommended! Its been awful with Covid but she really did her best to take care of us. She is like a cool mom. She is super smart and witty. Study notes and powerpoints. She gave a research paper on immunizations that wasnt hard.

Patho is a really hard class but she makes it easy to understand- plus she is kind and funny and goes out of her way for us. She even moved an exam bc it fell a day before our 209 exam. Take her!

Three exams, an essay, and the final are what make up your grade but she is really understanding and is willing to push pack exam dates/ due dates. She tells a lot of stories in class but they help you remember the topics she's teaching, and she does go a little fast but she makes sure the class is understanding what is going.

This was the worst semester by far in nursing school but having Dr. C def helped. She tries to keep things interesting and tells funny stories to keep things moving but is teaching us at same time. Asynchronous nutrition is the way to go not that difficult but a lengthy paper due at end of semester. Make sure you attend zooms she goes over material and gives focus areas. Also nice to look at so Id say take her!!

An actual godsend. She's straightforward with her notes, is empathetic towards anyone who may be struggling and is overall caring of her students. Sometimes she would extend or push back due dates, however it's important to still put in effort with studying. Candelaria would sometimes go over OB if there was extra class time which helped a lot.

She is so understanding and awesome professor at Molloy. She gets it. She gets how we are in the sense of how we're stressed out, we're in college trying to make it through nursing. She gives areas of focus for exams which is amazing and keeps the class very entertaining and relates lectures to us. She even went over OB for us too. Great professor!

Dr. Candelaria is down to earth but a little spacey. There were times I had to email her 3-4x before getting a response. She's understanding and easy going but getting in contact with her outside of class was not easy, at least not for me. Easy course, she made the lectures tolerable.

Dr. C is one of the nicest professors. She does seem rather indifferent sometimes, but overall her class is beyond fair. She gives guidance for studying, and all of her slides are direct. Would definitely take her again! I assume in some of the higher classes she'd be more animated and excited to be there.

Dr C is fantastic- wish my other professors were more like her. She gave me extra help twice this semester and is actually really cool to talk to. You can tell she loves what she does. I plan to take her for every class possible. Study PPT and notes for exams. Exams are fair.

Take her! She does a few zoom meetings over semester which is super helpful and met with me on campus to go over an exam. Lectures are on panopto she really does explain things well just listen.

Candelaria is the nicest professor ever. She really listens to her students and would even change test dates if we were stressed about another class' exam. Prof C was so caring and it truly was a pleasure to take her online course. I am sure she is just as pleasurable in-person too. If she teaches other course requirements I am defiantly going to take her again. She truly cares about everyone and just wants everyone to succeed. No textbooks, all slideshows. Exams all based on slideshows.

Dr C is amazing she is caring and kind and teaches in such a way you don't even realize how much you are actually learning. I am taking her for patho now and so far I am understanding concepts that used to confuse me. Take her she is one of the best teachers I have ever had.

This is my second time taking her and she is still just the best! Patho is not by any means an easy course and she knows that. She always always gives extra credit options and extra points on exams as well. She is a bit forgetful and all over the place at times but she has such a big heart and wants all of her students to do well. Take her!!

she has an amazing heart, and she is so sweet. the only thing I didn't like was that she is very monotoned so I had a difficult time focusing in class. I had her for Patho and her tests were kinda hard but she does give point back. I would take her again because she is amazing and caring for her students.

Dr. C has a big heart & cares about her students. If you are unorganized, do not take this class online- keeping up with the coursework is the most tedious part of the class. Everything was labeled by week and not by date, but the weeks did not line up with the exams which was the biggest issue in this class. Overall, the class was manageable.

Very sweet, only grades you on exams and a paper but the exams are very simple. She does zooms before every exam and tells you the topics and reviews them for the test. Love her, very thorough and easily accessible!

I loved Professor Candelaria!! She's so sweet and her prerecorded lectures are SO short which is nice. Her tests are straightforward and open for a few days so you can complete them on your own time. I love Professor Candelaria. She tells you exactly what you need to know for exams. There are no tricks with her, which I really appreciated. She is difficult to reach in her office or via email, but she's good at answering texts and addressing concerns after/before class. Study groups are important since there's a lot of material to cover.

Every chance I get I take Prof C. She is the best professor in Molloy. Prof C is always accessible after class if you need help with anything at all even if it is not for her class. Her tests are fair and usually curved. She gives insane test breakdowns before which ultimately help so much. I cant say enough great things about her. TAKE HER!!!!!!!!

If you are thinking about taking patho with Prof C, DO IT!!! She breaks the complex concepts down and makes them so easy to understand. I loved her lectures, and she always gave an exam review & told you EXACTLY what to focus on for tests - no suprises. Also no textbook needed. She is kind & wants all of her students to do well! Candelaria is amazing! She may only have 2 exams and 1 paper but they are 100% do-able. If you are paying attention in class and taking notes on the things she repeats or goes over multiple times you will be fine. I used quizlet and it was really helpful for exams. Her class isn't dry and hard to pay attention in either. Science like tests...

Professor Candelaria is one of the best professors that I have had so far. She is extremely understanding and the assignments that she gives are not hard at all. We had 2 exams beside the final exam. Also an interview assignment and bibliography which weren't so bad. If you are able to take her I highly highly suggest you take her!!

Dr Candeleria was an amazing professor for PEDS! She is very knowledgeable in pediatrics and loves telling stories based on the material we learn in class. Her tests are pretty much what she says in her review but definitely study for her tests. She does give back points on tests as well. Great professor!

I enjoy her lectures, you can tell she is very passionate with what she's teaching. Also has a story w every topic making it easier to understand. Let me just i had the toughest semester and her class was a breeze. It is mostly memorization. She gives you what to study and she also willing to help. Ask her any questions that you want and she will take the time to help you. She wants all her students to pass, she gives pointers. Take her and you wont regret it.

Fall 2021: She was the best prof here too this was my second class with her and I still loved her. Exams were easy, lectures n ppts were simple. Plus she did Zoom reviews b4 exams which helped too! Sometimes she took a while to respond to emails to where I'd talk to her in my other class - if u can take her for Nutrition n Patho tg, do it!

Dr Candelaria for nutrition was super easy her assignments never took long and her canvas is well organized by weeks, tests are very easy and gives a review sheet the week before a test, her panoptos are short and you can get through them quickly. She is a nursing prof so she makes a lot of nursing references in panopto, its not strictly nutrition

Dr Candelaria is amazing her lectures are straight to the point and doesn't keep you the whole 3 hours, she tells you what to review for the tests, and is very knowledgable and caring. Also has 2 projects to boost your grade, Couldn't recommend her more

SHE IS THE BEST!! This is my 2nd time taking a class w/ her, I took her for patho previously. She made nutrition so easy & right to the point. It really was impossible to fail this class. 2 test, final, & HW assignment weekly. If you can TAKE HER. Plus it's an async class which made it even better.

I passed patho the second time because of Dr. C. It is NOT an easy course, but she makes it tolerable and understandable and even connects topics to patients she had and funny family members and it really helps things stick. I wish she taught every class!

For PEDS, be sure to take notes or record lectures, as some slides don't have everything. Her storytelling really helps the content click.
