She teaches alot of material within a one semester period. Not too easy to talk to and get annoyed quickly. She gives opportunities to make extra credits thru very easy pop quizzes and even allow a cheat sheet for the final exam

Dr. Choudry was one of the best professor's I ever had. She is a little bit stern but she gives you ample oportunity to do really well.She gives 4 pop quiz' that are totally bonus points and she drops a test and you can use a cheat sheet on the final. she also gives old exams out for you to study =0

she is a great teacher! she explains things well and she is always open to answer questions. she gives up to 50 pts extra credit and drops your lowest grade. you can use a study sheet during the final. if you go to class and do the homework you should get an A. she is not PMSing, she is nice and very approachable.

She is a great Chemistry teacher. She has office hours that she makes herself available. The class covers quite a bit of material-there is not time for a lot of questions during lecture. That doesn't make her unwilling to help. If you are serious about a career in medicine and you are willing to work, you will do just fine.

She's cool. I took Dr Fox before her for 1033 and compared to him she is a walk in the park. I havent got an A on a single test but have an A due to the E.C. quizes. My suggestion to any science major is get familiar w/the tutoring lab and you'll do fine. It's like she says, you earn the grade she doesn't give it out!! Do ur HW this is college!!

She is an excellent professor, very straightforward. It's a hard subject but she explains it better than any other professor I ever had. I hated chemistry before I took her class and now it doesn't bother me. If you like to know exactly what you need to do to make the gradethen she is the best. Just make sure to keep up!

Her test is not surprising at all! You can go to her website & see how the test questions are going to be which i think is very helpful and nice. Her tests are from what she covered in the class! Although she doesn't require attendence, chem is not a class to miss out. The only bad thing is her final cumulative exam! I hated it!

Prof.Laura Choudrrhy is an excellent teacher. I wish to had many teacher as her, but it is very difficult to find such a good teacher. She has a very good style..and evrybody can understand her...if they practice and do their homework.In addition, she is very fair in grading...if you want to understand chemestry take her.

She is awesome in making chemistry crystal clear. I was so scared of chemistry because i never took it in high school but I understand everything and actually love it. She is helpful but she does not baby anyone at all, she treats us like adults and we have to be responsible to practice inorder to get good grade she is awesome!!

I would recommend Prof Choudry. I need CHM1032 for Nursing and i was scared going into it b/c the only other time i've taken chem was in high school and i failed. I've gotten A's on both of Choudrys tests but I earned those A's with lots of studying. You need to do the homeowork problems. Quizzes count as extra credit on the tests too

She was a great professor. She had practice problems during the lecture to help you understand. She answered questions, enough questions to be short 3 chapters at the end of the semester, If you did not understand Organic Chem, you will after taking her. Hardest chapter was chapter 8. Her tests were not hard, but was not easy either. Xtra Credit!!!

A very smart and helpful professor. I took her for 2210 just recently and I got an A, now there is a trick to this class. Focus on the practice problems that she gives only but practice them in other format. She gives a quiz in between each test which is extra credit and can't hurt your grade but it could help tremendously. Trust me and take her.

I HATE chemistry, but out of all the chem teachers I've had she made things the most clear. This class is a lot of work, you need to study a lot, but at least if you take notes and practice at home you will ACTUALLY somewhat understand chemistry by the end of the semester. doesnt like late people, come on time

She is the best option to take for organic. The course is challenging but she does all she can to make it more than possible to get an A. There are tons of E.C. opportunities during the pop quizzes that can each add 10 point to your grade. Tests are somewhat challenging, not too hard, but YOU HAVE TO STUDY and understand the material. She explains the material that even a 7 year old can understand. She reviews for exam, drops lowest grade. she allows you to review previous exam. Whatever she covers is on the test. I was shocked to see students failing. Her exams are not hard, no tricks, knows her stuff.

She explains everything. The matrial are on the test The final is where you get to use a cheat sheet. He test aren`t easy but passable. The final replaces your lowest test grade which 100% helps out.

Professor is great she explains, makes notes, explains, practice exams and class work covers what exam are like the exam no different, only different problems. study review notes use tutor if you are afraid to ask questions. She does reviews prior to exams

I failed this course once with a different professor and now I'm taking it with this professor. She gives you pop quizzes that are for extra credit. she also assigns optional online exercises for extra credit. Her practice questions and practice exams are very similar to the actual test. The best word I could use to describe her (and her best attribute) is that she's a PROFESSIONAL. All the notes are on D2L, along with practice tests, EVERYTHING. Responds to emails so professionally. Organic chemistry is not an easy class but she will give you all the tools you need to succeed. Nice lady. Go to her office if you have a question, she really will help you. I took chemistry in high school got a D. Took it again at BC &failed miserably ruining my GPA. Retook it with prof. choudhury got A. The best CHM professor TAKE HER! she easy to talk to, gives extra credit & tries to help as much as she can. chemistry is hard, you'll have to study & put work in but review the old exams and hw on d2l and youll pass

Great teacher!! Clear and helpful, I thought since 1040 for me was hard, I was scared to take 1041, turns out she made it super nice, but you have to study and listen to her lectures. The practice problems online do them, it helps a ton!

This is my first chemistry class and I worried that it would be too hard to understand. I really enjoyed taking her class. You have to read, do the homework, and take advantage of office hours. I'm not sure why others say she doesn't like when you ask questions, that's totally not true. She will even stay behind and answer questions. She was great!

This is my review of this teacher others may have a different opinion. She teaches exceptionally well. She breaks down the material bit by bit and what most people don't understand is that she has an office that is open on certain days you may be busy that day but if you want to understand something clearly you make time and go to her office. Trust me she will clarify everything. ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY!!!!!

This is a difficult course and she grades fairly. She provides extra credit opportunities that can reall make a difference in your grade. I put in many hours of studying in order to manage an A in class. If you dont study or attend it will be very difficult to get an A or B. She is extremely helpful and responsive.

I failed CHM1040 the first time taking it and i actually chem. This prof is amazing. She explains things well and gives a lot of extra credit. She is willing to give you an A if you have an 86 or higher. She actually cares about you passing Honestly one of the best teachers ive ever had. Very hard class but if you study hard and review material every night you will pass. Pop quizzes before every exam. final is cumulative so make a cheat sheet as you go on. Be on time to class she is strict about punctuality. Tests are challenging. Multiple choice and written problem solving. pay attention to her notes and write everything!

Shes completely misunderstood, works hard, wants to see you develop, subtly gets happy when students answer correctly/begin to get it, not when they fail. She wants you to work to understand the concepts bc thats when it becomes knowledge. Why not consider maybe shes doing you a favor saving you from debt studying something not right for you.

Dr. Choudhury is not what everyone makes her out to be. She is very approachable, cares about her students, and is an incredible lecturer. Biochemistry is not any easy course, but she knows how break down the material and explains things very well. Attendance is not mandatory, but it is advisable to attend.

She is just great. The class, of course, is hard and requires a lot of work outside the classroom. To quote Dr. Choudhury, it is an upper level course. Yes, its a lot of work. But all the work is worth it... especially for those taking the DAT, MCAT or PCAT. TAKE THIS CLASS, you will leave with a lots of knowledge (1/3)

As far as availability goes, she is always available. Dr. Choudhury devoted several hours to helping me understand the concepts that I could not quite comprehend. In retrospect, I wish I had attended every one of her office hours. She is so knowledgeable, clear and concise. She will not make you waste your time learning irrelevant concepts (2/3)

Another thing I regret is not having recorded her lectures from the beginning. That said, record every lecture and GO TO CLASS. Anything covered in class will be fair game for your exams. Go through her slides carefully, if you dont understand something, approach her at the end of the class, she will clarify it for you. Shes great

Amazing. Took her for Orgo 1 and BCH, and loved her lectures. Very thorough in explanation, always available for questions, exams are based on slides. BCH is not an easy class no matter who you take it with, but if you can do well w/ Dr. Choudry you will be well prepared for MCAT/PCAT/Whatever. Would not want to take this class with anyone else!

She's incredibly organized and makes chemistry easy. This was the first chemistry class I've taken, and I kept waiting for it to get difficult, but it never did. She's very straightforward. If you keep up with the readings, study, take advantage of her extra credit pop quizzes and online extra credit, and show up to class, you can easily get an A.

I met professor Choudhury after taking a horrible professor for 1040 who gave an A for literally no reason, because he did not teach and only gave us all the questions for the tests a day. At first, I can say I was 100% lost, but professor choudhury went over the each question I had inside of class and in office hours. She cares for her students.

This is my second semester taking a class with professor Choudhury and I would not change her for no other chem professor. She cares for her students. Take advantage of the pop quizzes, study and you will be fine.

Just took Dr. Choudhury for Orgo 1 and based on the reviews I was skeptical. She makes this class clear. Her grading criteria is very basic. Three tests and a final. There are usually 3 pop quizzes the week before the exam which count as extra points towards your test. Textbooks arent a requirement but if you need extra practice get it. 10/10.

She's a great teacher and will explain anything you ask in various ways. Tests are fair and reasonable. Everything you need is in the PowerPoint slides and she posts ask her lecture notes online as well.

Her exams aren't multiple choice but don't let that scare you. Turns out that was the best way for me to understand the material. She's always available in her office and gives helpful feedback on your graded exams. I took professor Choudhury for Organic 1(got and A), Organic 2 (B) and Biochemistry(A) and she is absolutely amazing. I had a deep hatred for Chemistry before her and after taking her class I grew to love it. Go to class, she teaches everything that she puts on the test. I took her for Orgo I and took someone else for Orgo 2 and had to audit. I just took Orgo 2 with her this semester and she really is great. Go to lecture, ask questions, see her in office hours. She even lets people record the lecture. Her grading is fair, 3 tests and a final, replaces of the 3 test grades with the final grade. She's a gem.

One of the best professors ever that I have taken for Organic chem II. She gives 3 quizzes which counts for EC and 4 exams and also have class problems that are done in class with practice from that its similar to the exams but, if you don't put in the work you will end up failing!!!!! Just study and practice problems and you should be fine.

Biochem is tough, but Dr. C is pretty good at making it not so complex. The tests are written answer, not multiple choice, so theres that, also 3 extra credit quizzes and HW. If youre between taking Biochem at BC or FAU I would recommend taking it at BC. FAU has good resources like study guides for tests, but nothing beats a good professor.

Prof Choudhury is one of the best. She knows her stuff! She is extremely organized. she posts all her notes online. She grades the papers fast and she is accessible outside of class. Her exams are exactly what she teaches in class, but they are not a piece of cake. I love her and I passed her class with a 105. TAKE HER!!!!

She takes notes on the board that are easy to follow along, then she posts them on D2L after class so occasionally missing class should b ok. She is BEST Chem1032 teachers take her corresponding lab too! I heard horror stories about the other teachers this semester! Records all her lectures so you can watch later and all homework and quizzes are extra credit. She gives a you all the tools to get an A people just think shes hard cause they dont want to bother trying or studying

I found this class VERY hard but its mostly because i dont understand chemistry very well, she records her lectures when we're in class which is good cause you can go back and rewatch something you didnt understand. She can be a bit strict sometimes but she will help you. You have to STUDY to pass this class.

I came into this class blinded having zero amount of background knowledge on chemistry, she makes it so do-able by posting the exact lecture notes from class and a video. 3 pop quizzes for extra credit, posts old exams similar to the ones you'll take. As long as you really study you'll get an A. I never thought I'd get a 99% in chem. Take her :)

Dr. Choudhury was amazing for biochem! She's very caring and does her best to support us. She gives great extra credit. If I could redo it, I would attend all her lectures. They were very helpful for exams and I didn't realize that until later on. Ton of resources & she is supportive of her students' future careers as well. Highly recommend!

This is hard class so if you want to pass, you have to spend a lot of time reading, doing hws, and studying. She offers a lot of helpful resources and puts everything on D2L. I took Chem1032 in a Session 2 course. Her syllabus is golden. If you follow that, and show up to the class, and study then its impossible to fail. She pre recorded lectures to watch before class and she goes over a group worksheet in the class. No textbook, just a lot of homework, quizzes, and 4 exams which includes the final. Shes awesome!

You definitely have to put in work for this class. She gives you about 2 lectures to watch before actual lecture (this was online, session 2, and during covid), and she works out problems for you during all of them. DO THEM! She gives you the opportunity to do homework for extra credit, DO IT! All 4 exams are pretty fair. Overall, good professor!

Prof. Choudhury was an amazing instructor. She is very passionate about teaching and she can be funny. I just finished her lab class and I am also taking her for lecture. If you pay attention, do the work, and attend her class you will be fine. She will always help you if you do not understand what she explained. I definitely recommend her!

Okay I know people are saying that she's a tough cookie, but in reality, a very very big portion of my class got an A in her class. Look this is how it is. She won't gift you the grade you have to work and work HARD for it. She will, however, help you get there, as she substitutes your lowest grade with the final. That saved me from a B to an A.

Professor Choudhury was an amazing organic chemistry professor. Organic is a really difficult course where you have to do a lot of practicing by yourself. Yet, her lectures were clear, she was caring during the lectures and after. She gives extra credit quizzes. Keep in mind that this is A REALLY HARD COURSE. But I would take her again anytime.

Despite having to do virtual labs due to covid, she made this course as easy and enjoyable as possible. I would definitely take her again.

I took Professor Choudhury during the Summer semester of 2020. The class was six weeks so it was fast passed and required daily time and dedication but if you put in the work you will do well. She was very helpful during lecture and over email and even went over every quiz and exam which most professors won't do. I would definitely take her again.

Grades are mostly based on exams which sucks and lectures are pretty extensive, but otherwise she is very good.

This professor knows her stuff and is always there for extra help. The class content was difficult (obvi) and you have to put in the time to do well. 3 tests, 1 cumulative final and 3 EC quizzes. I took the class remote proctored so if it in person the class may just be more difficult so beware. Shes rlly good at explaining but you hav to practice!

Professor Choudhury does a good job teaching and going through the materials with you. After she is through she sends a copy of the work she did with the answers to help as a guide. She's understanding and flexible if you communicate with her.

Okay let me put it this way, organic chemistry is a hard class no matter how you want to see it. She is incredibly smart and organized when it comes to the D2L set up. You can easily find the resources you need to succeed AlsoTons of EC. The only one thing is that she goes really fast, notes are messy, no hwk, and only 4 tests to define your grade.

Dr. Choudhury is sweet and very fair. I took the 6-week OChemII summer class and her exams are based on her practice sheets. You MUST keep reviewing and practicing in order to do well. Because the class was condensed, I found myself doing ochem 5-6 days a week (atleast 4-5 hours a day). She's understanding and forgiving and offers extra credit.

Professor Choudhury is great! She explains things well and does a lot of practice problems. Your grade is comprised by only 3 exams, but there is plenty of extra credit. For the remote class, most of the information is in the video lectures that you had to watch before class. If you watch the videos and use the resources on D2L you should do well.

Professor Choudhury is the best! 100% recommend taking her class! Her lectures are so detailed and amazing, I've learned Organic Chemistry because of her! TAKE HER! Now, Organic Chemistry is NOT easy, you have to put in the hard work, but with such an amazing, and caring professor, you will end this class with a profound knowledge! BEST PROF. EVER!

There's NO MIDTERM, NO HW, FINAL is OPTIONAL. You're graded on the quizzes and the lab worksheet u turn in. The quizzes are due the day before every lab on D2L, & they're VERY EASY. Just read the pre-lab worksheet and the answers to the quizzes are in there. She can be snappy if u ask obvious questions, so ask ur classmates instead. Overall Easy A.

Very sweet teacher best online class for a science class. the bonus extra credit was enough to cover two exam if you flunk. I mange to get a B with 100% on homework and assignment but got two F's on the test. dates and deadline is organized and most assignment are due on Monday. Anyone saying otherwise is pig lazy. - coming from a lazy person

I absolutely LOVED taking biochemistry with Dr. Choudhury. After taking her class in the last semester of my undergraduate career, I can easily say that she was the best and most knowledgable professor I have ever had. Watch the pre-lecture videos, go to class, and do lots of practice. Study class problems come exam time and you will be successful.

I was the student passing chemistry courses by the skin of my teeth before Dr. Choudhury. I even failed her first exam. After expressing my concerns to her and putting in A LOT of effort into studying, I was able to pass with an A. Her course content is AMAZING and actually helped me learn, understand, (and enjoy) chemistry for the first time ever.

Professor Choudhury is an amazing professor. She gives a pre-lecture before every lab. She also has pre-lab quizzes that are due before every lab. Professor Choudhury has no midterm, no homework and the final is optional. I would recommend her for future classes.

Professor Choudhury is a gem! Her lectures are super clear, and she even offers extra help sessions. Though Organic Chem is tough, her class and resources like Unstuck study helped me grasp the material. Highly recommend taking her course!

The teaching style was extremely laid back. She was very lenient with the work being completed. When i was having technical difficulties and ended up missing part of the textbook work, she allowed me to make it up with no penalty. She was very understanding, and i really appreciated her help.

Professor Choudhury gives genuine feedback on assignments, kept in constant touch, and her modules were super organized. You never feel like you were wrongly graded, and you know exactly where you went wrong. I was unable to take the final but had extra credit so I was okay, yet she had still reached out to see if I was okay.

This professor is amazing! There are pre-lecture videos you can watch and it made understanding the material in class so much easier. The quizzes were straightforward, and she's incredibly responsive to emails and always available to help with questions. There are three exams and a cumulative final, but they're EASY. TAKE HER!

I love her sarcasm. She does not tolerate being late or any kind of disrespect. She is very understanding and not a heavy grader. She is amazing and will explain everything. She drops the lowest lab grade and doesn't make the final mandatory. As long as you pay attention, attend and ask questions you'll pass with flying colors.

This lab gave me an intro to what's coming next as a future Nurse. I loved her lab a lot! She's very helpful and makes it enjoyable.

My very first science class in college. This professor made it comfortable and easy to understand Chemistry for Health Sciences. She pointed out what we needed to remember for the tests and HESI. She gave many real life examples related to dosages we would provide for medications, etc. Her lab is even better!!

I had her for orgo 1 and had a good time. There were three tests and a final, plus extra credit quizzes. The lessons were recorded and uploaded. Has a great pace for teaching and is well organised. Would let you arrive early for tests. Had some worksheets that helped a lot for the tests. Was open for questions. Overall a nice professor.

I love Professor Choudhury! She is amazing. Her course layout was extremely easy to follow which made organization a breeze. She provides her students with a plethora of opportunities (several attempts, extra credit, more test time, ect.) to earn their desired grade. She is passionate about what she does and it shows. She is very funny as well!

Professor Choudhury is amazing. She knows her stuff. I was so afraid to take this class because I didn't have the greatest background in organic chemistry (C's in both I & II). She made the material digestible and interesting, always including cool facts and making it fun. Watch the pre-lecture videos, go to class and you will succeed.

Prf. Choudhury is a great lecturer and makes many insightful points that connect lessons to the real world. Although, one drawback was the online organizing of content. She recently changed her textbook; the organizing of Units/Chapters file names and worksheet titles was a bit out-of-whack and wasn't the most helpful to continuity. Good class tho.

I took Prof Choudhury for CHEM1032. She goes over the schedule of when assignments are due and exams. Prof Choudhury also does not mind if you come after class during her office hours. She will help you!!! Make sure to study for her class especially the exams! Overall, Prof. Choudhury has taught me so much within the course. Take her!
