Prof Laura is AMAZING. By far my favorite professor. She has lots of stories that relate to what you're learning & cracks jokes all the time. There's 4 tests & 1 cumulative final. The tests are MC & an essay. She doesn't post lecture PPTs online & 15% of the tests are questions from the book. But she's an amazing lecturer and is never boring.

She's very straightforward. Her power points are AMAZING! Everything is laid out perfectly and she tells you exactly what you NEED and don't need to know. Part of the tests are based on the book reading. So do it! She's funny and enjoys discussion. I would take her again for sure!

I've always enjoyed psychology, but this class also taught me a lot about LIFE. I really looked forward to lectures, and I even enjoyed the paper assignments because they made me think about some important personal issues. She isn't an easy grader, but she really cares about students, and I would recommend this class to anyone.

I love Professor Laura!! If she came to Golden West earlier, I would have taken all her Psychology classes! If you are a Psych major, I would recommend taking her!!! I took Psych 250 because it was a requirement & at first I was a bit scared. Her tests are hard if you don't study. Textbook is a must.

Her power points are very specific and easy to understand while being lectured. Her classes are great and you learn something new every day. There are a few exams and a paper but it is on a very interesting topic that you get to chose. Time went by fast in her class and next thing you know it the semester is over. Great teacher!

I took her online Psych 118. I do not recommend taking it online. There was A LOT of reading. The text we used had chapters that were 50+ pages long, plus additional reading, plus participation, plus video watching. I passed but since I missed 2 assignments my A dropped to a B+ (acceptable but not ideal). Laura is helpful and friendly.

Took her Psychobiology class and loved it! She is very professional, knowledgable and always willing to set time aside for her students. Theres is a lot of reading (she will give you a reading list for each test) and questions will be on the test based on the textbook reads. Go to class! take good notes! and get the textbook!

Laura was an awesome teacher! She is so funny and explains everything so well. Human sexuality is already a fun class but she makes it even better. You have 4 exams and she drops the lowest grade. You have a final and 1 written assignment. If you take good note and keep up with your reading you will pass.

One of my favorite classes ever. I love her teaching style, everything is super clear and I feel like I actually learned about psychology and some really important things. I was always telling my friends about what I learned in this class, and I'm making by boyfriend take it next semester!

This was the best online class I've had. She takes the time to respond to her students and provides excellent feedback on assignments. There is a lot of reading, but if you study thoroughly you'll do great.

Took her for intro to psych. Incorporates stories and videos into her lectures. Her tests can be challenging if you miss class or don't use her reviews.

I love her! I'm a psych major and I want to take all her classes! Her lectures are interesting and her papers are easy to do if you apply yourself and take them seriously. Her exams aren't too hard you just need to study.

Taking her online class, its challenging but I'm learning a lot. 10 open chapter quizzes & 4 unit exams, the unit exams require a webcam/proctor which at first was weird but I got used to it. You will also raise a virtual child, write papers & do online discussions so not an easy class but I like it. Answers email fast & offers some extra credit

10 chapter quizzes (given 20 minutes each), 3 papers, 4 lengthy discussion posts, and 4 exams. Exams are online proctored and has someone watching you to ensure there is no cheating. Yes you will have to read. No you cannot google the answers. Everything is laid out on the syllabus for you, which looks like a lot, but is neatly spaced out.

Professor Duvall is very informative and caring towards her students. She wants you to do well and work hard for your grade. Her online course was challenging. There is a lot of reading material. The quizzes are easy (15mins each). The tests are mainly applying concept and theories from the text.

I got an A- in this class but I only got it because I did the extra credit. I thought this class was fairly hard and you HAVE to read the textbook if you want to do well. Also, this was my first online class that you have to take the test online via webcam in front of another person to ensure that you aren't cheating/using notes.

Dr. Duvall is one of the best professors I've ever had, she is organized, clear, funny, caring and wants you to succeed. She helped me a lot. I took both Human Sexuality and Personal Development and learned so much important stuff from both classes I think these classes should be required for everyone!

Amazing!! I took psych110 and 250 with her and recommend both! Everything she lays out in the first class lecture is accurate. She's very clear about all the tests and assignments and is very approachable if you need extra help. It's not an easy A class you have to do the work and attend class but you will get so much out of it!

You HAVE to read! Assignments: 10 chapter open note quizzes, 4 closed noted proctored exams, 3 papers (1 25 point optional EC paper-DO IT), 4 online posts and 4 replies about the child you are raising. Yes it is a lot, yes you have to keep up on your assignments because she will not accept late work. I really enjoyed this course and learned a lot!

Hands down on this professor. She is amazing she cares about her students and is willing to help if you go to her office hours. It is not an easy course you must READ the textbook and review her notes before exams. Her lectures are interesting and you will learn so much, Psychobiology it's truly mind blowing.

One of the best professors at Golden West, you can tell she really cares about students and has a real passion for what she teaches. What I learned in her class had a huge impact on my life, and I recommend it to everyone.

Laura Duvall is one of the best teachers I have ever taken. The class is mainly based on lectures so it is important to show up. but she makes the lectures very interesting and easy to follow and is always willing to answer questions. She gives each student and opportunity to pass her class by giving clear and direct instructions.

I've had Laura for 3 classes & love her. Psychology is always interesting but she has you apply it to your life so you also learn a lot about yourself. Her lectures are interesting & funny & she is always happy to meet with you outside of class. Her online class is challenging, with a lot of reading & deadlines, but still interesting.

Plain & simple, if you want an easy A, don't take this class. Be prepared to read and write. There are 10 chapter quizzes, 4 exams, 4 discussion write up (with replies, so technically 8 write up) and 2 papers. It's a lot! Questions for the quizzes/tests are directly from the book but randomly chosen so you have to read & re-read & re-read.

I'm taking her online summer class, which is intense at six weeks but I can't say she didn't warn us. Her instructions and grading criteria are long and meticulous, but you definitely know what is expected. She answers email fast, and has been very helpful to me so far.

Best Professor at GWC. An amazing person and teacher. Taking Human Sexuality made me a little nervous, but she will never make you uncomfortable or put you on the spot. I never missed a class because I loved her lectures so much!

Love Laura! Attendance is important, but she makes class fun and relatable. Tests are application of topics, not just regurgitating facts, and papers are application to yourself. Def not an easy A, but if you show up you will meet your new fave teacher :) 10/10 recommend

I take most of my classes online and can tell you that there are 2 types of online classes, easy find-the-answer-in-the-book versus challenging you-must-read-and-know-it. If you want the easy kind this is not it. Her online class is well structured, and personally I prefer to work and learn so I enjoy it, but it definitely isn't for everyone

She is very inspiring with a natural energy which made the class so interesting! I was frustrated for a little moment because she is a tough grader, but I learned so much and from now on maybe other classes will seem easier after the Laura effect! I'm taking her online class, and it is tough but its also the best online class I've ever taken. She posts videos of herself, has video chat office hours to talk online, and is very positive and encouraging. You can tell she wants us to succeed, and she makes herself present and available, which I haven't seen in my other online classes.

I never imagined to be so interested in a course, its the most engaging online course I've ever taken! She helps students with lots of reminders, and really cares about our success in the course. Summer was challenging, but she is quick with responses, clear in expectations, and gave very detailed feedback on the assignments. Highly recommend!

Challenging but very organized online course. Really interesting videos that I could listen to at work. Lots of deadlines (be careful, late work is not accepted) but also lots of reminders so there is no confusion about due dates. Very helpful and involved, this is the first online class where I didn't feel like I was teaching myself.

I just finished biopsychology summer online, I got off to a difficult start but her comments were encouraging to keep pushing through the assignments and quizzes and tests. It was a difficult start but I'm glad I stuck through it!

One of the toughest classes I've taken, but she makes it so worth it. Very clear and organized, but you must read and pay attention. She really cares, and wants to see you do well, but she expects a lot and doesn't take excuses. Ask for help, don't let yourself fall behind, and do all of the extra credit!

Exams are multiple choice and essay plus a paper about yourself. Class is an easy B if you go and take good notes her PP are clear so its easy. Have to read the book to get an A but she gives a study guide so it isnt too bad. Shes funny

I've taken 2 online classes with Prof Duvall and am taking her online social psych. I take a lot of online classes and Duvall's are tough, they are NOT the type where you find the answer in the book, so don't take her if that is what you want. I'm a psych major so I want to learn it and I like her classes, but be ready she makes you read and learn.

Laura Duvall is a wonderful person and amazing teacher. She is down-to-earth, and is always available if you need help. She is so energetic in the classroom, and you can tell she loves psychology and what she does. Laura is a person that I greatly respect and admire, and she inspired me to become a psychology major.

I really loved taking Lauras biopsyh class. She makes lectures super interesting as well as just an all around cool person. Tests are covered mostly by the lecture notes however read the book once over. I do recommend taking her in class class. I also took her early lifespan class online and it was really demanding to the point where I dropped it.

I'm an LD fanboi, this semester I will have taken everything she teaches. LD knows her stuff, she is intelligent, funny, caring, and helpful. LD is an incredible person and mentor, she cares a lot about her classes and her students. I'm graduating soon, but I know she will still be there for me, she is the best.

I didn't know what to expect in a class on the psychology of personal adjustment, but this has been my absolute favorite class ever! Professor Duvall is fantastic, and I highly recommend her, and PSY 110, but probably really anything that she teaches!!!

She is an amazing professor. The final was based mainly on the lectures so take really good notes and show up to all of the classes. The other quarterly exams were a mix of the book and lectures. As long as you stay on top of the studying and reading, you will get an A. This professor wants you to do well and is always willing to help!

I'm taking social psych online & its harder than I expected but I love it. Have to read & study for tests, but 1/2 your grade is discussions & a cool media project. I like that video lectures are interesting Ted Talks, instead of boring talking over a powerpoint. She is caring & does live video conferencing to help online students

She is the best. I've had her for several classes, and her online classes are harder than inperson classes, but I would recommend anything from her. In class you have to attend because tests are based mostly on lecture, but her lectures are awesome. Online you have to read and study for tests, but the writing assignments are easy.

Took lifespan development and learned a lot, best online class I ever took. Really important to not miss deadlines, she's helpful and responds quick to emails but she doesn't take late work. Lots of extra credit, be sure to do it all!

An online class at only 6 weeks was a big challenge but I can't say she didn't warn us, I ended with an A but only because she was so helpful and available. Instructions are very clear (maybe even overly detailed), and she was always happy to work with me, answer questions, and did several video chat sessions with me. Very caring and helpful.

By far my most favorite professor and class I've ever taken! She really cares about her students, she makes everyone feel welcome and wanted, and you can tell she wants everyone to pass and to grow. Her class is not difficult, you drop your lowest test score plus extra credit too, and the material is about life and really helpful. LOVED HER!

Took Human Sexuality with Professor Duvall, seriously the best class I ever took. Always interesting if not fascinating, learned SO much I couldn't believe it. Never weird, always fun, totally professional and awesome. Seriously this should be a REQUIRED class for everyone

She's a really nice teacher don't get me wrong, but this class made me cry. I did about 4 hours of her work everyday. She does not tell you what answers you get wrong on quizzes/tests, so I could never learn from my mistakes. I wrote 6 paragraph essays for her discussions but she's the type to never give 100%. It is a lot of work for 3 units.

Taking the 12 week online psychobiology course, and wish I would've taken it full semester because the accelerated pace makes it more challenging. There is a big APA research paper, but there are 2 draft stages of it before the final draft, and she gives really good feedback, so you know what she expects. Not easy, but she is very helpful.

I just have to say AWESOME!!!!!!!! Laura is the coolest, funniest, sweetest teacher I have EVER had!!!!!! I seriously wish I could have her for ALL my classes!!!!!!

This class is fantastic! Take it. You do need to read for an A, but if you don't don't worry too much her lectures are great. She explains everything so well and its never boring, she has a great sense of humor which always makes things more interesting. I'm really glad I took this class. You will be too.

Easily one of the best professors at this school, and by far one of my favorites. Knows her stuff and is very clear. Lots of energy and very helpful. Read, take good notes, and read her slides and you will with out a doubt get an A. I strongly recommend taking a class with her!

Besides being able to get psychology theories to make perfect sense Laura also helped me with a difficult family situation. That alone says so much about her as a teacher and a person. I have never had a professor that I would share personal information with but she makes all students welcome

I took Biopsych last semester with Laura and I've never learned so much from a course that stuck with my memory in such a meaningful way. I constantly catch myself referring back to different lessons/concepts from her course. Although you really need to study the material and lectures, it is all so applicable, and I'm so thankful I took this course

It's a very interesting class if you're interested in learning the biology that motivates human behaviors. You will learn about the reasons behind your daily habits , very relatable to everyday life. Professor Duvall does an outstanding job in teaching. She's high in energy, so the class material is NOT boring. 12/10 would take this class again.

Took her 6 week course. 2 lecture quizzes and 2 ch quizzes a week along with 4 tests total, 2 discussions and an essay. I took this class and film and worked 4 days a week and pulled out an A. Do the extra credit she gives alot. study guides help on tests, very nice and helpful. Proctored exams so study from the quizzes.

Every week: 1-2 hour lecture meandering over content that should be covered in half the time, mandatory reading of textbook, multiple quizzes covering mostly non-lecture content. Incredibly vague quiz answers, same with exams. Essay is a drag (only secondary sources allowed??) Utterly fascinating content. Love her. Full time students avoid

If you stress about your science gen-ed take this class! Video lectures are clear and helpful, practice quizzes, attendance to hybrid zoom class is optional, lots of announcements and reminders, study guides that are actually helpful, tons of office hours and feedback on assignments, and lots of extra credit. Extremely organized and helpful 10/10

Duvall is an incredible professor who puts 110% into her classes, which I especially appreciate in an online class. She is a dedicated educator who is passionate about what she teaches, and she goes above and beyond to make sure students succeed.

Video lectures with built in quiz helps SO much to stay focused and know what to remember, I wish ALL my classes had that! Extra credit practice quizzes really prepare for the actual quiz/test! Lots of office hours, announcements, due date reminders, and super helpful! My ONLY online class where I'm not teaching myself!!

Nothing but positive things to say about this professor and this class. Everything is very organized it and makes learning all the material easy. Not that the course is easy, but its very beneficial being taught by someone who really knows how to teach online and helps students adapt to this new learning environment.

Taking the "hybrid" psychobiology but the Tuesday zoom meeting time is OPTIONAL so really taking it as just a regular online class. Lectures are all posted online so I only go to Tues class time if I have questions and lots of online office hours too. Lots of extra credit, so just keep on deadlines and to the extra credit and it isn't too hard.

I took Professor Duvall's class over the summer and she did assign hefty work but it's manageable. Her lectures HELPS so much; she tries to make her lecture super fun and understandable. It is super crucial that you get your assignments done. She provides a lot of information and she cares about her student's education. Also provides extra credit.

Ive taken Laura multiple times and I plan on taking her again. I love her teaching style. She makes things extremely fun, interesting, and easy to remember. You can tell she really knows what she is talking about. She gives a lot of extra credit and drops the worst test score. I liked her classes a lot, but especially if there is a lecture.

i took her fall 2020 and i highly recommend for psychobio. she has online lectures and provides lots of extra credit. the class itself has interesting material and she is very understanding and responses pretty fast. the workload is moderate, just don't fall behind bc it is hefty material

If you have the opportunity, take a course from Dr. Duvall. Best professor I have ever had! Her Social Psyc course was by far the most educational, well-organized, and fascinating online class I've ever taken. She even films herself in order to provide students with video feedback! She goes above and beyond. Amazing professor, mentor, and person.

Excellent professor and interesting class. She puts a lot of enthusiasim into her recorded lectures to keep students engaged and interested. She is very helpful, communicative and responsive. The most caring online professor I have ever had. Online structure in canvas is super organized and easy to follow, and sends reminders so students don't fall behind or forget deadlines (she saved me so many times!) Has a draft steps of assignments and lots of office hours to help. Can tell she really wants students to succeed.

I'm the type of person that works best with a structured class so this class was great for me despite the work. Do the extra credit since it's basically a study guide for the quiz and if you do well on the quizzes, you'll do alright on the tests. The research report was easier than I thought since each paragraph is just a summary of an article.

There aren't enough words in the human dictionary to describe how amazing Professor Duvall is. She is the most caring and understanding teacher out there. I never thought my favorite class would be one taken online during the pandemic but, it is, and its all thanks to Professor Duvall. She inspired me to write a book-enough said. Take this class!!!

Hands down the best there is. The class is difficult ( it is biopsych. You cant make bio easy) but her set up for online is easy to follow through. I would take this class again. She really cares about her students.

Laura is one of the BEST professors I have ever had. She is very nice and approachable and is extremely helpful. She gives amazing lectures, so much so, that intense book reading isn't necessarily a must to get an A, but there are areas she will tell you to look at, this is a tip!! Study that!! She reached out to me after something I shared in a paper and helped me with a personal situation, which says so much about her as a teacher and a human being. Took Dr. Duvalls 6 wk summer course and it was intense! Heavy workload but very interesting and doable. Class is extremely organized and she keeps you on top of deadlines. You have to really understand the concepts because you have to apply it when taking quizzes and exams. Plenty of extra credit! Its a fun class. Put in effort and pass easily

Best online class I've ever taken, and the first one I didn't feel like I had to teach myself. Study guides that are actually helpful, extra credit study quizzes for every chapter that help a ton, video lectures plus ted talk videos, and all writing assignments are about applying class material to your own life. Awesome class.

I really appreciated how interactive and well thought out this online course was set up. Additionally, the extra credit and late opportunities were very helpful. Lastly, Professor Duvall is a great lecturer and her video lectures have embedded questions which is brilliant. I would jump on the opportunity to take another class taught by her.

Laura Duvall is the BEST! Super sweet and caring and you can tell she WANTS her students to succeed. Extra credit, multiple days to take tests, takes late work (for a short time), and totally sets you up to get that A!

Professor Duvall made her own video lectures for this class & I can't emphasize enough how much a difference it makes in an online class. Lectures are interesting & have a built in quiz to take as you watch it, which is SO much better than having to watch random videos & then do an assignment after. Very organized & responsive, highly recommend

Canvas modules are very easy to follow and its the same every week so there are no surprises. Each quiz/test open for 3 days, drop 2 lowest quiz scores, takes late work for a few days, and lots of extra credit. Video lectures are helpful and the material is very interesting, I've learned a lot about myself.

I love her video lectures with embedded quiz especially, because they help me learn the material better and test my memory. I appreciate all of the thorough information on how to get the assignments done, it is helpful to know how to accomplish everything. I never realized how much I actually enjoy learning biology and the brain until this course.

Online class is organized and easy to follow. Something due every week but isn't too much, 10 quizzes, 2 discussions, 1 paper, 4 non-cumulative tests. Extra credit study quizzes and drops lowest scores. Minimal effort and stay on top of deadlines and it isn't too hard, I have over 100% in the class.

Professor Duvall is incredible. I have never had an online teacher reach out to help me, notice when my grades improved, or provide individual video feedback on assignments. She is the most caring and involved professor I have ever had in college.

Her online courses are super structured and its easy to know what to expect per week, watching a video lecture, and then a quiz, and then followed by a Unit Test in a few weeks. It is easy to reach out for help to the Professor or TA if necessary, and its great to receive extra credit by taking the study quizzes which are super helpful.

This is my favorite college class so far! It has been so interesting to learn about all the stages of development and what makes us who we are, learning about development and how it pertains to me and everyone around me. Its also helping my parenting skills.. all really good stuff

Amazing Professor! There are lecture video quizzes that are super clear and helpful. Great sense of humor. She seems to really care and wants to help if needed. The grading criteria are strict there is no rounding the final grade so make sure you put your 100% in from the beginning. Extra credit offered in study quizzes. Take her you won't regret!!

Be prepare to read the textbook and also get a head start on the material. The TA was always available through e-mail and she responds very quickly which was nice. Must understand concepts to do well in class.

My favorite class ever because of how Professor Duvall teaches. I actually learned the material because of how the class is set up. There are interesting lectures in class, online study quizzes for extra credit, exams and essays. It is not just getting busy work done, and you can focus on learning and even applying the material to your own life.

This is the first online class where I learned so much and could really recall the material, I wish all online professors would have this kind of class! The video lectures were amazing and the content was so interesting I was constantly sharing what I learned with my friends and family. So practical and important all people should take this class!

I enjoyed this class a lot. The material is extremely interesting and it isn't too much work. Everything is predictable and clearly laid out which helps managing time with other life obligations. The best part was Duvall's video lectures, they were very informational, steady paced, and interesting with a built in quiz that really kept my attention.

She is a fantastic professor and she cares about you and your education. I was struggling with the material and wanted to drop the class. She gave me good tips and encouragement to not give up. I had a D but throughout the semester I passed with a B. I am grateful she did her best to help me understand the material. Take Her.

Very enjoyable class with an excellent professor. The class is incredibly well structured with quizzes during the lectures to keep you on track. Laid out to keep you on the right path and at a good pace. She makes the lectures incredibly interesting and I woulda taken this class for fun if I knew how much I would like it. I'm so glad I took her.

Human Sexuality with Duvall was #1 best class I've ever taken, it should be required for everyone! I learned so much about so many interesting things I seriously looked forward to every class! Lots of extra credit, easy reflective writing assignments, exams have study guides, no cumulative tests. Highly recommend!

She tries to be accommodating and fair to all students. Weekly work consists of lectures accompanied with some additional materials, followed by a quiz. Midterm and final have both essays and testing, but they're pretty easy to complete if you plan ahead. You will have to do reading, but there's a guide to help you out. Would def recommend!

Seriously the #1 best online professor I have ever had, caring, helpful, and invested in her students. You can tell she loves teaching psychology, and wants everyone to be successful. Her video lectures are interesting and have a built in quiz that is so helpful, gives a free grace day to turn things in late, and also lot of extra credit!

Very interesting course, I learned a lot and was constantly telling my friends and family what I learned! Online class has quizzes every week but all I did was watch her weekly lecture video (40 min) and skim the book (gives a study guide) and getting an A was pretty easy.

This Professor is kind and passionate about about her class and teaching, I like the layout and pacing of her course, how there is a lecture video quiz, a study guide, and also extra credit quizzes to help study for the actual quiz. Everything is very clear and easy to navigate, and she is always available to help. A+++

I loved this professor! I took her online but her bright personality in the lecture videos made me so interested in the subject. I loved her teaching style so much it is inspiring me to take more psych classes with her. The only thing to be weary about is the exams. It is very very important to study for those!

Professor Duvall makes the class interesting and engaging. There isn't any homework (as a psych professor, she doesn't believe in it), instead there are quizzes that you can do for EC and serve as study guides. The exams are multiple choice but it is lockdown and she is strict with no cheating, though it should be fine if you study the quizzes.

Professor Duvall is very open-minded, intellectual, and respectable. Her workload is pretty manageable, and she always provides life-applicable, personal insight -- you never wanna miss her classes! She just makes it so interesting. Attendance isn't graded, but you do miss the notes and amazing lectures if you skip, so it's best to show up.

Textbook can be found free online. Each chapter reading comes with a lecture video, a quiz, and extra credit opportunity. In total there are 10 quizzes, 4 unit tests (proctored) and one paper. Overall doable if you pay attention and do the readings and go through the material. She is very sweet and understanding, take her!

Duvall is such an amazing teacher, I learned a ton of interesting things. She makes online learning both seamless and easy, and her video lectures are incredible, the best online professor ever! She has clearly put a ton of time and energy you put in to making her online class so interactive and meaningful. The best!

I REALLY enjoyed this class. I especially loved her lectures and the extra videos she provides. I learned a ton, even in an online class. She obviously loves teaching psychology, and her passion and sweetness come through, again, even in an online class.

Interesting content, great for psych majors! 4 timed and proctored exams, weekly timed chapter quizzes, video quizzes, unlimited time EC quizzes, 1 essay, and 1 "flyer" project. Very nice and helpful, weekly zoom meetings if have questions. Test and quiz answers can be ambiguous and tricky, but if you study you should for sure get an A! Easy enough

I was terrified to take psychobiology because I hated and failed biology, but Professor Duvall makes it so interesting in a way that it pertains to everyone's personal life. You do have to study to pass but I was never bored and she will always help you. She is an excellent teacher and this was honestly one of my favorite classes ever.

I learned SO much in this class. I absolutely loved all of the information and how the class was laid out. I think I will forever use this information and carry it in my everyday life. Whether it is about stress, communication, or just how we go through life, I can approach everything in a much healthier way.

Professor Duvall is the best! She's super kind and always there to help. Her online class is so clear and easy to follow. Definitely recommend her to anyone—10/10!

Overall, Prof Duvall is a great professor and very knowledgeable about the topics she teaches. I will say this class is very attendance and lecture-heavy; if you do not attend class, YOU WILL NOT PASS. All tests are MC but are also dependent on the textbook and additional material provided on canvas.

Free online textbook, and weekly video lectures with a built in quiz that is worth points makes the lectures easy to watch. If you just watch the lectures and turn everything in it is a pretty easy online class, and I really liked the content and what I learned.

Lifespan Psych online was pretty easy, there are deadlines every week you need to keep up with but she gives a grace day on all assignments and drops the lowest scores, so it really isn't tough. I never read the book but still got an A in the class, and she will always help you if you need it.

The material was very interesting. I have never taken a class that has drawn me in this much. Professor Duvall did a great job making the video lectures easy to watch and stay interesting the whole time.

I was super thankful this class and how it deepened my understanding of the course material, and especially for the extra credit lol. For the most part, everything was made easy to understand due to how the Prof. structured the course - I really enjoyed this class and am excited to apply what I've learned in the future of my academic journey.

I loved everything about this class, especially the professor's PPT and lecture. Attendance is required for her campus class but the class content was really interesting and pertains to everyone's personal life. She is an exceptional teacher and I never found myself bored in class!

Her online teaching and lecturing style is so helpful. As someone who works with children the way she explains the concepts feels so directly insightful to me. Although I've had a rough semester and may not pass the class she has been supportive and never makes me feel like I should not be here. Professor Duvall's course on Life Span Development was AMAZING. While it is challenging (Bc you need to fully understand the concepts she is teaching), it is also rewarding. I can only imagine that her other courses are as thought out as this one. I'll say it a million times over, every person needs to take this course, it would heal you.

Online class is clear, organized, and a reasonable workload, plus extra credit. She is fair and helpful, and answers emails fast. Everything you need to do is very clearly explained, just follow everything she says to do and the class takes a little time but is not difficult.

Love professor Duvall. I took her summer accelerated class and i would do it all over again. There is about 2-3 chapters to review with a proctored quiz at the end of the week. She provides study guides and extra credit which makes the class easier. There are 4 unit test that are recorded but very easy if you study.

Psych of Adjustment with Duvall is honestly the best class I've taken at GWC. I learned so much about myself and I literally couldn't stop talking about it to everyone! There are no exams, and if you show up and do the small assignments getting an A is super easy. Plus the stuff you learn is actually really interesting, you'll seriously love it!

Online classes are usually hard for me because the professors lectures aren't engaging, or the class is disorganized, but this class is always clear, informative, and she is so expressive when lecturing it really helps you stay engaged!

This campus class was honestly my most favoirte class (even if I didn't get the best grade) I just loved how comfortable the classroom was to be able to share our thoughts and experiences and really explore what we were learning at that time, and she is actually happy to have students reach out for help advice etc. so do go to her office hours!

My professor went above and beyond explaining every chapter. She made hard subjects in some chapters easy to understand, and the study guide she made helped me a lot.

I really enjoyed this class, I learned so many things! Writing is all reflective and introspective and this class really made me think about my life and why I am the person I am today. This class was a gift I didn't know I needed. Genuinely, I believe everyone should take this class, whether required or not

I was very happy with the structure of this online class. The work does not overload you, and I found the deadlines manageable and very generous. She uses Respondus for 4 big tests that are most of your grade so you need to work a little, but as long as you study the tests aren't hard. Great professor!
