Anatomy was one of the most difficult classes I have ever taken. Proff Juarez made it interesting and fun. Her tests are based on the study guide handouts. if you study them you will do great.

Finest Prof in the biology department. Very accessible and understanding of those who don't have her intellect. Buy the A&P Revealed Dissection CD. If you can't pass her class and learn a lot buy a shovel and apply for a dirt digging job.

You have to study BUT she is so helpful and if you put the work in, and get help from her, you WILL do well!!!

Anatomy is a hard, its a LOT of material. Prof J however is awsome, she will put in the time and effort to help a student out. She also goes to great lengths to make every resource avilable to her students.

Finest Prof at ACC. I cannot recomend taking the 5.5 wk anatomy summer class. I'm positive I would have got a better grade with a longer class. You won't do better than Dr Juarez.

Best teacher by far!! She is willing to help in every way she can! Very organized. Lecture is mainly overhead slides with some powerpoint. She makes anatomy fun and easy to understand! Lots of info, but she helps you get through it all. If you have any chance of getting an A, it's with her help. Attend class and she'll cover everything that is important. Came once to the library study room just to see if my classmates and I needed help. 5.5 weeks was tough but I'd rather take a tough class with her than any other professor.

She is VERY good about letting you know what and how to study in order to be able to make an A. It's a lot of work and a lot of material, but she makes it possible to make an A so long as you put forth effort. Group studying is recommended for this class

Possibly the best teacher at ACC. There is a reason her students love her, she has a high rating and she wins teaching awards. This is one of the only classes where I enjoyed working my ace off. She will come in on Saturdays and answer questions in open lab. She is meant to be a teacher and you absorb her energy in class. Awesome.com

The absolute best teacher EVER. This is a very difficult class with a LOT of information but her high level of organization and dedication to the students/subject make it very manageable to achieve an A.

By far the best professor at ACC. She is extremely helpful, kind and just an all around awesome person. Anatomy is a hard subject with tons of memorizing, but if you work hard and study you can make an A. She also gives you many opportunities to get extra credit points. Lecture and lab attendance is mandatory.

The best teacher I have ever had (well over 250 hrs college cred). Clear, kind, compassionate, helpful, generous. If you want to learn anatomy, take Juarez. If you want to learn how to learn, take Juarez. If you want to learn how to be a model teacher/human being, take Juarez. Tough class due to the material, but with her help, it is manageble.

Dr. Juarez is the best professor in existence. She is wonderfully passionate about teaching the human body to her students. She offers an open lab (which I totally recommend if you want an A) where you can study the material/models in the Bio lab. She is very kind and wants her students to succeed. Dr. Juarez de Ku is the kind of teacher that goes above and beyond to help her students. Her lectures are extremely well organized and she is extremely knowledgeable on the subject. The Best Acc Professor!She went beyond than what most professor would. She would go and get to know her students at a personal level, remember their name right away,and she would always ask everyone how they were feeling and doing. She know what we go through as students. She's not tricky, everything she gives you is exactly on the exams.

Dr. Juarez is AWESome! She will go out of her way to make sure you understand the information and do well. I used the book only once or twice so buy the the old edition and save yourself some money. Absolutely a stellar instructor. I already have an undergrad and a masters in different fields. All throughout my education career I avoided the sciences like the plague. I thought they were boring and difficult to grasp. Dr. Juarez completely changed my perspective and I feel as though I missed out all those years. Be prepared to WORK, though!

Treats you like a baby, not a college student. Though she is knowledgeable, she goes off on tangents which result in getting behind. As a result, she makes you spend numerous hours (avg 6 hours/week) OUTside of class watching mandatory videos and taking notes - not including the STUDYING part! Don't take her if you like to do your own thing.

Clearly one of the best professors at ACC. I decided to take Anatomy in the summer(it was really intense, i am not kidding) and it was a great experience. Even though it was A LOT of work (10+ of studying each night) professor Juarez made the class very enjoyable. She has an intense passion for anatomy. 11/10 I would repeat this course with her.

Professor Juarez really helped me understand basic biology and is a wonderful teacher, by far the best teacher ACC could have for biology. You do notes at home that are fill in the blank and you show them to her for extra credit ( there are many ways to earn extra credit!!!!) and you take quizzes that you can use your notes on!!

Dr. Juarez is the best biology professor I've ever had. She is so kind and works so hard for the students. She walks around the library before tests to answer last minute questions. She gets tests back quickly and uses a variety of teaching methods. Don't expect the class to be easy! Don't rely on the textbook because her lectures are better.

Hands down best professor I've EVER had! She is so sweet and really wants everyone to get an A. She told us to text her and she could meet up at Starbucks if we needed her! Don't expect an easy A, you really have to work for it, but you feel so good getting that A! She teaches in a way that you can remember stuff years later, trust me!

Prof. Juarez is very kind, super nice. I personally would not take her again because by the end of the semester I was sick of her lectures! She does A LOT of graphs, diagrams, and that is all you pretty much do in her lectures: you WRITE! Non stop! Not my learning style. Anatomy is super intense no matter what! But, more visual would have helped!

Dr. Juarez is THE best prof. for 2305! I took her for 2304 also. She is super friendly and wants every student to succeed with the highest grade obtainable. Extra credit is given on several occasions. She takes the time to explain the concepts. I wish I could take her again but she doesn't teach the other courses I need. Highly recommend.

I'll admit her class is tough, but she is willing to help you as long as you do your part, and put in the work. Dr. Juarez has been the BEST professor I have taken since at ACC. She made BIO2402 so easy and understanding. She does a great job at making sure you and your classmates understand the material. She is an AMAZING professor! She really cares about her students and making sure they understand the material and how to pass! She is always answering questions and putting it in laymens terms and just so supportive! I have super bad test anxiety and she gave me a few tips on my last exam and I made a B the other exams were Cs. Love her!!!

If you have trouble in Biology I highly suggest taking her! She makes everything easier to understand and makes sure you understand it- always there when you need her or have questions about any work, any section, or anything she went over and you just didn't understand. De Ku is definitely ACC's brightest Teacher. She will prepare you for the NCLEX while teaching AP2. AP2 has a lot of material to cover and she helps you stay organized and prepared for each test. She gives you credit for showing up in class. She is funny and engaging. You will want her for your AP2 teacher if you need an A.

My dream professor.. caring like mom she kept my every words in mind and cooperated a lot. I am blessed to have her as my professor. She is super organized and makes everything clear besides she puts her large effort for student success. Take her! She's an amazing Prof took her for the 5 week course. It was a lot of information but she made it easy. she's an easy grader too and have no tricky questions at all she gives points back for lab if you made a spelling mistake. if you want to pass with an A grade take her! she gives a lot of extra credit opportunity its impossible to fail.

Dr. Juarez was the best professor I had at ACC! I took 2401 with Professor Ian at the Round Rock campus, but I decided to give Dr. Juarez a try, and she was worth it! She knows hows to prepare her students and take that fear we had. She was always there for the students, and it was tough but worth the drive from Round Rock to South Austin.

A lot of people really like her and she is really nice just be ready to be doing like 10-30 pages worth of homework (yes actually that amount every single week) also you need to have a certain up to date computer or Ipad or you can't even take the course because you need lockdown browser
