Easiest Teacher I have ever taken. You have to try not to get an "A" in the class.

this is the easiest and best class i have ever taken in my life. She is so nice it's unbeleivable. I recommend that everyone take her. She is clear in everything she says and is always willing to help outside of class!

Agree on the easiness. Responds to e-mails quick. Good class to fill science slot. Class is a lot of lab time on what can get done at home if you have the software.

is this class a joke or what?? it's insultingly easy. all we do is create web sites based on premade templates. forking over $1500 (or more) for this class is, mildly put, insanity. i feel like i'm buying my grade rather than learning something.

this class is about as easy as she is on the eyes. an absolute knock out. if you get anything besides an A you should be kicked out of here.

HCI 201 is a cakewalk course, it's for people who need science credit for core reqs; you should have looked at the syllabus and dropped it if you're so offended by its easiness. Prof. McFall is one of the nicest teachers, and by far the most prompt. A+.

That was an awesome class. I didn't know anything about computers and now I know how to design a basic web page. She is very accomadating and soooo sweet. She will listen to you and explain things very clearly. It's an awesome class!

Easy class!

The class is fairly easy and she is very nice. She goes around to help each individual student. and you actually learn stuff in addition to getting an A. It's fun, easy, and you will learn how to do the stuff so you're time isn't wasted.

This is a great class. It's for beginners and so I felt like I learned a lot. May be annoying if you've done a website before b/c it's slower paced but you learn a lot. She's really nice!

I had prof. McFall for csc 200 and wish I took her for hci 201 because I heard such great things about that class. I loved her in CSC because everything was so thoroughly explained and she was understanding. Take her!!!

Awesome class. All assignments are posted on her website, so if you know how to do them, she doesn't care if you come to class or not - as long as you email her the link to the site you create. She is incredible nice, but don't buy the text book - I never read it and got and A anyways.

This class is so cool. She is so nice and helpful and you don't even have to go to all the classes as long as you turn in the assignment on time. You also learn a lot about web design that can be helpful in the future

Laura is a great teacher. She is definitely available if you are having a hard time with the homework assignments. I would recommend taking the class DL and getting your assignments in early. If you submit early enough, she'll make recommendations and you can resubmit your assignment before the due date. Easy A.

If you have at least some clue about HTML and Java script I suggest that you take an online class. I only saw about 30mins of lectures, did my assignments on the day they were due and walked away with an A. Very easy and sweet lady. You don't need the book.

Laura is about as good as they get. One of the nicer people I have ever met. She will let you do whatever is neccessary to get an A. I actually learned a lot about excel too. A must take class.

She is so nice. Her notes are online and easy to read and understand. She loves to help and never makes you feel bad if you don't know how to do something. She is also very reasonable and clear on what she expects from her students.

Prof.McFall is understanding, helpful, and funny. She is aware that we have heavy courseloads and definately gives us a break. I had night class and basically class went until 7:30, then we were free to leave or we could stay and she would help with homework! Tip: Stay, if your not comfortable with the material it can be confusing. I love her!

LOVED HER!! She is so helpful and nice! This class was pretty easy, the material is boring and she does give plenty of work, but she will help you along the way if you get lost. One midterm and final that if you do your HW, you cant fail. Attendance not mandatory but suggested if your not a PC genius. TAke this Class!! She is so nice!!

She is a great teacher! she will be there to help you out when you need. I took her night class from 6-9 and we were done with the lecture at 7:30 and could stay to work on assignments with her help or we could leave so it was very accomodating. She was really nice and funny in a quirky way. I enjoyed it.

This class is a joke. She walks you through every single assignment and as long as you put in ANY sort of effort into it, you will get 100% on everything. Basically sit in class and browse the web, and get an A...not bad

A lot of busy work but as long as you get it in by the last day youre good! no tests two short papers, SO EASY can do them in groups!!!!! extremely understanding, never showed up to class got an A. kind of sad i didnt take for HCI 201, took another teacher instead but taking her for ISP 121 :)

Professor McFall is awesome.. attendance is not mandatory and she gives you time in class to complete every assignment. No tests, no textbooks.. she teaches you everything you need to know for the projects and she is so helpful. She lets you turn things in late if you need to also! Take her :)

Amazing teacher, by far my favorite teacher at DePaul. She explains the material so that people with no prior experience can understand it. Always willing to help and make sure you get the best grade possible. Attendance and books were not mandatory either so if your a wizz at website design you don't even need to show up! Overall Great experience.

Don't take her if you have other classes to take! She assigns 3 main assignments the 1st day that are due at the end of the quarter. On top of that, she keeps assigning more assignments per week. Like her class is the only call we are taking. STAY AWAY!

I LOVE PROF MCFALL! she is so sweet and kind. I got an A+ easily in the class. A ton of group work, but you can also chose to work individually. No due dates for anything, just by the end of the quarter. Very hands-on, DIY style so you actually learn stuff by doing it. No midterm, no final. she's awesome.

There are two kinds of teachers, ones who come to class, they present the material and then they go home. Laura Mcfalll is one of the teachers who come to class and passionately talks about the subject. She does assign a lot of writing so make sure to expect that from her. She cares about her students and treats them like her own family.

Laura McFall does not take attendance past the second class, all assignments are online, and the lectures are recorded. The class itself is extremely easy, and there is essentially no need to go to class except for tests. If you are familiar with statistics and are required to take this class, choose her.

VERY GOOD PROFESSOR! I would highly recommend her. There is no midterm or final exam, however there are lots of small assignments but they are fairly straightforward. There are four labs and a final project, but again, very straightforward. She will answer all questions and takes time to get to explain the material in full detail. Take her!

Professor McFall was great! She was understanding and helpful. I lovE her passion for the industry and all the resources she provided were very helpful. I love that she didn't require attendance on lab days if you were already finished with the current assignment.

One of the best teachers in CDM hands out. Explains everything in broken down easy to understand concepts. Always willing to go out of her way to help. Assignments are very do-able. Whatever you don't finish in class, you take home for hw.

Very easy professor, also very willing to help those in need. The class seems to stretch on though, as the concepts are already covered by week 5 / 10. Good professor, albeit easy, but the class should just be shorter. Take online if possible. She responds to emails / questions quickly, and will cancel class if the weather is too bad.

She is making learning fun. I've retained a lot without being forced to read pages of material. Her lectures are very much hands on, which is extremely important in IT. Highly recommend it, particularly if you are a working professional and time is limited.

She's a good person, however is a end-of-career professor. The lecture was supposed to be 3 hours long but she only lectured 1. If you don't care much about the topic it will be good for you, but if you wanna get for what you paid (actually learn something by being challenged), I wouldn't recomend her. I had to drop this class.

Took this class online and I would highly recommend it! Straight forward assignments and clear understanding on how she wants the assignments done! Total of about 5 assignments and the final consisted of 10-20 page paper.

This is an all around fantastic professor. She really wants you to succeed, and her main goal is for a student to understand the material and be able to apply it.

Empathetic, kind and helpful teacher. Very easy class. Book is practically useless but you need it for assignments. The class is so easy you have to watch yourself and make sure you are learning the material. I can't say I learned a whole lot about databases, just the raw fundamental basics. I expected a little bit more. I recommend her.

Hands on work that can be done at home. Lectures are very descriptive in a way that is easy to understand. Just come to class, pay attention and you will pass.

The assignments are very straight forward and she will go over them with you for better understanding. Her lectures are very informational and she doesn't use a textbook (no textbook required for this course). She doesn't believe in tests so there are no tests. However, you will need to write a paper for the final.

Best teacher ever. While there's a lot of information to cover, there are no exams, however that doesn't undermine the importance of the materials covered. She does a fantastic job explaining confusing protocols and processes, amongst many other things. So yes this is an "easy" class, but essential IT information is broken down and explained.

All lectures are online (which I stopped watching a couple weeks in), I only went to class once. I learned nothing but it was an Easy A. If you actually want to learn something then she is more than happy to help you. There are assignments every week but I do not think she even opens them because I got a 100 on it all. No tests. 1 easy paper.

As many have said before, a class with Professor McFall is pretty much a guaranteed A. She's wonderfully kind and cares about what she's teaching. For anyone who's looking to go a bit more in depth, she is more than willing to talk about advanced subjects.

Laura is great, shes not your typical IT ptofessional and has had to work hard to get where she is at. She has very clear grading criteria and you get what you give for this course. If you just want to pass this course and not think about it again, you can. She does a great job mentoring future IT also. I really enjoyed her class.
