Very easy A! Only 4 exams and she drops lowest of the 4. No homework or anything. She is boring but very easy.

she is extremely nice and easy. i took her two online classes and one class on campus. her class is an easy a, and doesn't expect much from you. plus, she basically gives you the test during the review.

Prof. Ochoa is the nicest, most patient professor at bcc. She knows her subject and can teach it very well. I would definitely reccommend taking her, she gives complete reviews for tests and there is hardly ever homework.

Took online, very easy, not much work

she's very thorough and if you take down all the notes and read some, it's a piece of cake. she's really nice too. if you need help, just ask her. i really enjoyed being in her class. she made psychology easy for me. i became more interested in psych as the semester went by. i did well in her class. her tests are based on notes and lectures.

I had her a couple of years back and she's still the same helpful person who was always glad to assist once you showed interest... She's also easy going!

very basic, simple psych course. a b+ or above is almost assured, provided you are of reasonable intelligence and fairly participatory. didn't rock my world, but it was pleasant enough.

Took the class online. Got an A. Total 4 discussions, 4 reaction papers, midterm, final. She gives an outline for midterm and final which if you stick to you will definitely do well. Grades for disc easy. Reaction papers do take some time though 2 - 3 pages each. She also curved both the midterm, final, as well as the final class grade.Take class

She knows alot about Psychology. Her classes are fun, and most take the form of a sort-of discussion. She's very lenient in class. Probably has never yelled at a student in her life. She does reviews the class before the test. You do have to show up to get on her good side, but tests are easy--multiple choice. I give HER an A+. :P

Professor Ochoa is great!!! Though I took the course online (Abnormal Psychology) and have never seen her in person, she is a great virtual professor. I had never taken an online class before but now and will and probably will be taking another with her. I learned alot from the class. 3 papers, 4 discussions and one exam later I had a A. I think she is a great teacher. if u study for the tests you will definitely do well! she is so nice, she tells funny stories, and she is a smart lady. you do learn alot of interesting stuff from her class. i would definitely recommend her as your teacher.

Took psych of Sexuality with her. Her class was interesting because of the class. She knows her stuff...but...i just didn't know if all her facts were TRUE. So take her words with a grain of salt. My class was pretty immature...sad. Class was easy...so long as you study! Study.

If you want to have an easy A take her... don't think twice...some kid would fall asleep everyday and he still got an A...it's the easiest class you will ever take.

Took her for an online course. Very well organized class. Five dicussions, 3 papers, mid-term, and final. Provides study guides that if you know definitions you're golden.

ONLINE- great experience for diversity requirement. 3 3-page papers during semester- opinions on topics from book. 6 easy discussions (also opinion). thats the only work due through the semester. midterm and final ALL MULT CHOICE - taken at BCC testing center. Notes are posted online and if you study them WELL you should get at least a 90.

(Online course) A wretched hive of rationality and grownup behavior: She tells us what to study and what chapters it's in. We take our own notes in our own way. The test is on pretty much what she says it's on. Hands off, no drama, GOOD CLASS.

I am currently taking this professor for child psych (online course) so far, so good! Just 1 question to anyone that has been in my place & took this already, how are her midterms and finals? bc I kno there are no quizzes online so should i really only know definitions of the material? or is it more complex than that? if anyone can answer, thank u!

Took online course for psych of sexuality. Interesting course and learned a lot! She has everything laid out for you and let's you know exactly what she's expecting. A LOT of studying to do for the midterm and final, but as long as you study you'll do fine. She's very specific on grading and makes u feel like she actually took time to read ur paper

I really did enjoy her online class. 6 easy discussions, 3 papers, and 2 exam (midterm and final). Just one thing you should know is that midterm and final are worth 60%! If you're not a good test taker, I wouldn't recommend her if you aren't a good test taker. If you dont have a 60 average on her exams you automatically fail!

This online 'human sexuality' class was great. There were 6 discussion questions which you can get wrong. 4 two page papers where she outlines everything you need to do. And a midterm and a final which she tells you exactly what is going to be on it. You need to read carefully though because she can give a few tricky questionsâ?¦Overall fun class.

I took her for abnormal psychology class online. I dropped the class becuase it was a though class. There is so much reading in her class along with discussions and other assignment on psychportal. If you are not a good test taker then don't bother taking her, her tests are extremely hard. I wouldn't recomend taking her

The grading system is 15% discussions,30%assignments(1-2 pg) and 55% online tests. The discussions were pretty straight forward and you got credit just by doing it, she was a fair grader for the assignments and the tests really weren't that difficult. We finished the course a month early and only had to wait for the last test. Best online class

The class is pretty easy mostly because she goes off on tangents a lot. She is a very nice lady!!!! her mind just wonders a lot. The test are pretty difficult, they are online (even though its not an online course) but there are 80 questions!!! I would take her again mostly because I didn't really have to show up to class

She is such a sweetheart! I would take her for every class if I could! She can get side tract and go on random rambles, but she makes the class interesting and fun with meditations and other weird stuff. Definitely my favorite class I have taken thus far.

this was my first time taking an online class and i must say it was pretty easy in terms of what the professor wanted. The only thing is that her test are really hard in my opinion, i tried two ways 1 studying word for word from my own reading & failed the test & the next one going by her study guide & that kinda helped. is either you get it or no

She's really funny and nice, really liked her as a person but she's not an "effective" professor goes of topic a lot but always tells an interesting story about her patients. Has 3 test all online and all the answers are on quizlet, is 75 questions and she gives 85 minutes to finish the test, 5 one page double space reports on easy things. Easy A

Child psych 201 online was a pleasure to take with Proffessor Ochoa. They say one month online courses have too much work to cover but the class was one of the easiest and most fun online courses I've taken, which since you don't know me, is saying a lot.

Typical online class at Bergen. Do your discussions as respond to 2 others, take the tests on every chapter and you will pass. She also offers a lot of Extra Credit during the day to go to different school events.

Took professor Ochoa for an online 7 week course. It was not hard. She has about 6 discussions which are super easy, 3 exams that you would need the text book for, but you can also find the answers on quizlet and a final essay up to two pages. She gives lots of extra credit. I would take her again.

Took PSY 101 class online, Excellent Prof. easy A, gives a lot of extra credit. responds back to emails quick. Gave study guide for test, you just need to review and read. Taking her again for the Fall semester.

Professor Ochoa is my favorite professor. I have taken her online classes multiple times, and I loved them. She gives great feedback on discussions, and she gives many opportunities for extra credit. Register for her class!

This class was relatively straightforward and not very difficult. 3 tests, participate in a few forum discussions and some online video clips to watch. Good study materials to prepare for tests and many opportunities for extra credit. It was an easy A.

Her exams are a little hard if all three are not A's than your not gonna receive a final grade of A which sucks. Everything in my grade book was an A except for one exam and my final grade was a B+. I was extremely disappointed I felt like all the effort I put in every assignment wasn't put into consideration. It's not a hard class though.

super easy class, all the assignments are posted for the first half of the semester so you know what to expect and can do them early. interesting material and always answers emails

Basically 2 parts: 3 tests (non-cume.) & written posts (make a forum post & reply to other posts). Each test covers like 125 pages. She tells you what chaps the test covers & gives an outline for it. The tests are kind of rough bc they're timed. Posts cover a specific chap & topic, and are easy. Follow the syllabus & it's VERY straightforward.

3 timed exams which are not easy, however she gives study guides which do help for the exams. Not cumulative but each exam covered 4-5 chapters. 6 required discussions, you post 1 for each & response to 2 students per discussion. I would take her again, she is always available via email. Workload was manageable.

She is a great professor. There are 3 exams, oral presentation, term paper, some homework assignments, and extra credit opportunities. She's not very tech-savvy, so be prepared to help her out in class. The tests are not from the book because she writes each question herself, but she provides study guides, so use them and study! You'll do fine!

Took asynchoronus class. If you don't put effort you, you will literally not learn anything. She gives all information at the beginning, six total assignments that were so easy. But then if you don't do everything else on your own you're kind of screwed for the exam. But exams are open book. Overall easy, but its all up you.

Professor Ochoa was clear with learning goals and included Textbook Readings/ Instructor's Study Notes as well as two optional extra credit assignments. So Getting an A in this class is made easy. The biggest bonus was she used free text book so less money out of the pocket.

Professor Ochoa is a great teacher. She cares about her students and tries to grade on time, and give solid feedback. 6 discussions, (requiring 3 posts each), 3 tests, and 1 10-page research paper due at the end of the semester. Not an easy class, per se, because it was asynchronous and there was a lot of reading; but the textbook was free online.

Super easy class! Took fully online asynchronous class over the summer. There were 3 exams, launchpad hw and 3 discussion forums. Graded very quickly and gave awesome feedback. Definitely recommend this professor at BCC. Would have her again!

I took her abnormal psych course during summer 2, which was about 2 1/2 weeks. Her class was very straightforward. Two exams (midterm & final), as well as launchpad hw which you only need to earn 20 points for units 1 & 2 to get full credit. The textbook was free online and she provided study guide notes, so all you have to do is read. Easy A!

Not bad. Had 3 exams and 2 forums so it was like no work for a winter class. Expect us to read a lot though but I doubt anyone did because I didnt.

Took the two week course during the summer. Super easy, forums, 2 exams: final and midterm, and assignments due every week need to score a 15/15 to get an A. Very manageable and is always willing to help you out. Highly recommend!

Great professor. Highly recommend you take her class. Classwork were very manageable. Took her online class & coursework is as follows: 3 open book exams all multiple choice. Only 3 HW assignments where you watch a couple videos & take short quizzes on them. Lastly, 3 discussion forums. She gave out 2 extra credit assignments to boost your grade.

This class was pretty straightforward. While the exams were no easy feat, using the study guide and textbook, along with Unstuckstudy for extra prep, helped me stay on top of the material. The professor provided lots of useful feedback. Overall, a manageable class that's worth taking.

I took her for Psy 102 (Intro to Abnormal Psychology) she is pretty easy. You have a place you go to complete homework assignments that she provides. You have 3 exams, and that's it. I would definitely take her again.
