Totally off subject, her students are her therapist as she lets you all know whats going on in her life.

This lady needs serious help. If she could stay on the subject, she may be an alright teacher. I found her losing subject every 5 min. to talk about her personal life. She is also very loopy.

This is by far the worst teacher I have ever had. Like everyone else all she talks about is her family problems!!!!!!!!!!

Mrs. Perez is an aweful teacher, if you have her should really reconsider taking her class. You can find a much better teacher out there. And plus the F doesn't look good on your transcript, and thats what your going to get if your a student that needs the math explained to you because she doesn't.

Mrs. Perez will keep you waiting in line for twenty minutes while she's discussing her personal life with another student when she should be checking the homework. Don't take her at 9 A.M. She'll be late on a daily basis. She'll give you extra credit, and then forget to count into your grade.

This instructor by far is the worst math teacher I have ever had. She was constantly late, if she showed up at all. We had a sub 3 times in a row because her cat bit her and she couldn't come in. That should explain it all right there.

Laura is in her own little world, and is just not teacher material. I advise anyone taking her class to switch out of it now, because if you don't you will later and then you get stuck with the big fat W on your transcript.

AVOID! This woman has no business being in front of a classroom. She simply can NOT teach. Disorganized, unclear, not helpful. She spends far too much time rambling on about her dysfunctional family and not nearly enough time helping students. How she's still on the WCC payroll is beyond me.

This teacher was horrible. She never taught us the math, rather she taled about how her husband impregnated the woman living below them, divorce him and then married him again. Like I need to know that! Students BEWARE!!

She reminds me of Roseanne Bar, except she's not FUNNY. I think she likes to hear herself talk, that or shes destessing herself from her dysfunctional family life. No joke, don't take this teacher!

If you are not that good in math, then don't take her class. In her lecture, there are not manythings, but for the students who are willing to learn and ask her, she is ok. She talks about her life too much in class. She is not an organized person either. However she is extremely kind. Her Test is not that hard if you study pretty hard.

Avoid this insructor. She had a hard time staying on track. She would blab about her family for the first hour and then she would try to rush the material into the last half hour of the lecture, leaving no time for questions. She reminded me a lot of Bette Midler, and I can't stand that woman.

Psychotic Cat Woman! Avoid this instructor at all cost, or else you will be trying to get your money back later!!! I see I'm not the 1st to complain about her. She talks a lot about her family! If I was tested on her family I would have gotten an A.

DO NOT TAKE THIS TEACHER!! This is by far the worst teacher I have ever had. She wastes the majority of class talking about her family and leaves no time to actually teach math. I learned more about her grandson than anything else. Waste of money and time.

Attention Deficeit Teacher without her Aderol. She can't stay on topic and loves to talk about her cheating ex husband and the girl he got pregnant downstairs. Who cares...I'm here to learn math. Horrible teacher, she's only nice because she is so loopy and out of reality!!!

Horrible ! Horrible! Horrible!She is disorganized in all arrears. She'll have you fooled until you take the evaluation and then she fails you. RUNNNNNNNn!

You're better off not going to class and just reading the book by yourself. If you do go to class, she'll read the book to you. She takes off points for not showing work (even with correct answers) and tests things like definitions. The only real teaching she does is making analogies to her family, which don't make sense. Avoid if possible.

I was very motivated to learn the material and I realize that math requires hard work on the part of the student. That said, this instructor is terrible. She easily spends more than half the class time talking about herself and when she finally does get around to the math, she can't explain or teach anything.

no. never. again. I read the reviews and thought oh I'll give her a chance. no that was a terrible idea. Laura is the worst math teacher ever and her class consists of terrible stories about her life. it is brutal. never ever. if you're a student that cares don't take her.

I have learnt absolutely nothing in this class. She stories that don't relate to the topics. Her tests are exactly the study guides, except different numbers. Her class is an easy A. If class wasn't mandatory I probably wouldn't show up because I know everything already...

I spent HOURS doing homework. She gave us 17 assignments to do over spring break. Never put grades in the grade book, I would email her over and over again until she finally posted grades. She gets very frustrated if you ask questions. Towards the end of the semester i would show up for class cause it was mandatory but rely on tutors to teach me

TERRIBLE! i do not recommend her to anyone. you teach yourself everything, she literally reads off the slides!

Laura is a nice lady but a terrible teacher. I found myself sitting in lecture and then going home and re-teaching myself what I was supposed to have learned in class. she assigns too much homework and she assigns these things called "quest" where you have to write a paper about the chapter we learned about. 11/10 would not recommend

She is very difficult and make sure you know you need a 70% on your final and midterm which is a mandatory grade to pass. She also will round your midterm on BB to motivate but not give you the actual points I didn't know till last minute.

I worked full time and was in this class. She was very negative towards me in this regard. She said multiple times I should spend more time working on the assignments as if I wasn't submitting them on time? She doesn't explain anything to you and I had my friends teach me the material because she just sends you videos with no extra help included.

Laura is a decent professor. The class is super easy and everything is open book and open notes.. so it's an easy A. The only thing that makes the class annoying is her boring "teaching" lectures and her "quests" for every module. Again, an easy A but just annoying to show up.

This professor was terrible. She was extremely rude to me during Zoom calls. She also did not understand that I am a dual-enrolled student. The exams must be taken in person even though this is an online class. DO NOT RECCOMEND IT!!!!

Blud is the type of person to have a crappily put together course and then say that "my course is difficult and has a low pass rate"

She's a very poor communicator and doesn't teach anything herself. Class grade is determined greatly by your exam scores. Quiz and exam questions are not like the homework assigned in the book. I would not recommend taking this class with this professor.

DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS. Laura Perez does not teach anything and does not communicate. You can't tell how you're doing until the test. She waited until after the drop/tuition refund deadline to begin rearranging the class, including changing exam dates. I withdrew after seeing one quiz have the content double with only one day left to complete it.

I've had my comments removed for this prof a few times now. She uses artificial intelligence proctors that majorly invade technological privacy and are against WCC policy and belittles those who ask for help, passive aggressive even. Let's see if this one sticks.

She doesn't even teach since its fully online, but somehow she still doesn't meet deadlines and doesn't give you a good idea of whats on the test.
