Good teacher, knows her stuff - but hard to understand when she starts talking too fast.
Excellent professor! Grades fairly, very helpful with material. She has a heavy Italian accent and a high-pitched nasal voice. Beware!

Shes a character, you will laught constantly in her class. Not to much homework and the exams are not to bad. She definently knows the material and know it well! She has a Stong accent,and a bit of an obsession with capicheinos and will say beer and pizza over 1000 times throught out the year.
horribly boring... basically a managment class. she has us doing projects that have nothing to do with the readings. bases tests off her own notes. worst of all, she is a constant nag and treats us like first graders. very dissapointed in the teacher and class in general. avoid if you can...
Strong accent and fairly interesting. Does not like people sleeping in class and wanders the class room. Hovers at time while lecturing. Loves the subject though.
She is a decent teacher. The only real problem I had with her was that she has a strong accent and says "Kind of you know" so much it became distracting. The tests are not too hard and she gives out study guides. She doesnt tell you when stuff is due. You just have to look on Web CT or in your syllibus.

A good class, but you have to stay current with the book. She has discussion questions from the book that she expects people to answer during class. The "kind of you know" thing was annoying after a while. Tests were pretty basic if you've read the book. Be sure to get in a good group for the project too.
This class was actually pretty easy, all you have to do is put some effort into it. Riolli is definitely crazy and she spends a lot of time saying "I.E." and rambling about her college days, Italy, and pizza and beer. I would take her over Sharyn Gardner, who is fake and much harder of a grader. Riolli is your best bet!
only three easy assignments, one team project, kinda have to read the book, tests are decent. strong accent and with "IE" and "pizza and beer" being the favorite things to say. Italian and talks alot but what do you want a boring class?? I think this class was great. loved her!!!
The actual class is not very difficult if you can stand to listen to the professor. She is the Most annoying professor and you can't understand a word she says. She makes no sense in lectures and your better off just teaching yourself because you couldn't understand wht she was saying if you tried. I absolutely hated having her as my professor and

she's good at what she does, i think because she has a strong accent its distracting, but if you pay attention to her its really interesting.....fair class overall, grades are well distributed, few assingments, 3 exams, and one project, get to know your team and get to studying....you can pass...i pretty much slacked off but im still doing good.
Easy class. Two exams and a final. one project. get a good group.. have to do a few presentations (5-10mins)gives study guide for exams and even some questions w/ answers. fun class, loves her students and she's hawt.
She wasn't bad, but it gets hard to understand her. She is always talking about beer and pizza and says "kinda you know" all the time. Just do well on the group projects and you should be fine. The tests weren't hard either. Sometimes class was interesting but most of the time they weren't.
Dr. Riolli's accent makes it very hard to understand her. Both the subject material and student grades are filled with ambiguity. If you like having no idea what your grade is, and what you are supposed to be studying, this may be the class for you. Dr. Riolli seemed bored during the final speeches. Never gave me a clear answer on my grade...
Kinda hard to understand. Her tests are easy. Tries to scare you off by saying you have to talk every class, but this isn't true. Says attendance is mandatory but only really took it 3 times. Group project can be difficult if you don't get the right group.
This class was not interesting but it was easy. 2 group projects to present and she chooses the groups. 2 exams and a final. There is some homework but it's very easy. I barely used the book; I opened it twice.
This teacher is very frustrating. It is very hard to understand what she is saying and to know what she wants. A lot of the work in class is with groups that are randomly assigned at the start of semester. I found it very dull and never used the textbook.
She's a really funny and energetic teacher. Her accent is pretty heavy so it can be hard to understand her since she talks so fast. You have multiple group projects, but as long as you put some effort into it, its not too bad. Tests are based on her lecture notes posted on SacCT. I'd take her class again.
Very hard to understand but this class was not that difficult. She assigns the group so you do not have a choice with who you work with. Stay on top of the group assignments, read the text and you will be ok. Exams are difficult only if you do not do the reading. She will have you hating beer and pizza by the time the class ends.

very enthusiastic prof. makes learning enjoyable. difficult to understand her accent, but got use to it. lots of group work and presentations but much needed for me. just stay on top of work and know what is due, since she isnt clear at times
Horrible class setting, this instructor keeps shrieking all class and you will start getting headaches soon after stating this class. three exams, one huge group project, and some homework assignments. I would say avoid her if you can
Avoid this Professor!!! Horrible. Goes on and on about herself and waists time. Never posts grades and then out of nowhere posts your final grade without explanation. Take someone else.
if you like to hear her say "are you with me?" at least 20 times a class period EVERY class period, or all about her life, or every other word be "beer & pizza" then shes the professor for you. her accent is terribly annoying and so is she. if it wasnt my last semester i would have dropped her in a heart beat.
Well, I basically signed up for this site to leave Riolli a review. I have no idea how she received a Dr. degree. If she can do it, anyone can that's a good sign. She says "beer and pizza" 3 times per class. She says "are you with me" 15 times per class. She says "kinda you know" 3 times PER SENTENCE in a thick Italian accent and is always talking.
If you want to pass this class without learning anything,then take her.2 ridiculous individual assignments,1 debate/lecturing per group of 4,2 midterms and 1 final. She says"Honey moon is over","beer and pizzas","are you with me" million times during the course.She pushed the final a week early so that she can rest during final week.Not recommended
Honestly I hated this class but Riolli gets mad props for letting me re take the final. I was honest with her and told her that I missed the exam date because I was hungover and she was totally cool about it. Just for that she gets a good review. Not many professors are that cool.
Class is a joke. She doesn't teach past the 4th week. After that is all group projects. The final is majority of your grade and consists of material not covered in class, or in the book. Avoid her at all costs.
I enjoyed Laura and the class a lot. My one complaint would be that after the midterm, she really doesn't teach in the class, it's a lot of group work/ presentations. She provides docs. on Sac CT and reviews for exams. Read the book. She is very approachable/friendly. You'll have to put in effort for your grade - but after all, you're in college.
She gets mad if the whole class doesnt participate. Exams were difficult for me, but rest of group did fine. also make sure when you choose groups that you dont choose slackers, itll show. got a C and two Ds on exams did well on group projects got a C+ project does help if you fail exams. fyi she doesnt enter the last couple grades, shes helpingyou
Her lectures are spent most of the time with students telling stories and her giving examples of the material. The course work is not bad, and I would certainly recommend taking her. She is so sweet and willing to help if you just ask!
TERRIBLE professor. I'd rather pull out a tooth than have to sit through another one of her lectures. They are the most painful and pointless thing ever. She talks about literally nothing, and class is a joke. Her exams are hard, and she is just a tough person to understand period. Dont take her. NOT worth it.
If I could sum up my semester with Riolli in two words they would be "Absolute Torture". If you are a quietshy person avoid at all costs! 2 presentations- one where you teach the class for 75 minutes-- AHH! She requires constant participation. No tests but there are 2 very long papers along with difficult projects. Avoid and thank me later!
Riolli is so confusing, and yes her lectures are torture and pointless. She is nice? But she is a last minute professor and changes things a lot. It's not a hard class, just be ready to get yelled at for bipolar reasons. she has a thick accent btw, but it's kind of fun. the test are ridiculous since you dont actually cover material in class
She is very confusing and her test are hard. Never missed class and still had a hard time. She assigns a long 25 page paper to do in a group, which is horrible! Worst teacher I've had thus far.
She wrote the textbook which isn't helpful at all. The tests are tough. The multiple choice questions I always got wrong, but the essay portion is the portion that helped me out with each test. Make sure you choose a group that actual will get their work done. Do the study guide as well, it helps!
Dr Laura is the perfect HR professor. She teaches empathy, if that's possible. Class is fun and she cares. It's easy to lose track of what she is saying because she doesn't preface it well. Her exams are from the book and some lectures. Most business classes have group projects but she keeps it functional and offers support. Slow grader
This class isn't hard because the material is complex it's hard because there is no organization, the teacher goes off tangents, she contradicts herself sometimes, and she is unprepared.
She is a very kind and brilliant woman and cares very much about her students, but for someone who teaches Organizational Behavior, she is not very organized. Her SacCT site is a mess; it's hard to find what you're looking for to print out to bring to class. Her instructions for projects are wordy. Tests are confusing and do not follow the book.
She makes "team leaders" go up in the front and then talk about what they expect and then people go into whatever leaders group they wanna be in. Actually listen to people and go into a good group. The tests are tough and her lectures are annoying and unnecessary. Everything you need is in the lectures - used her book once. She says "you know" alot
Riolli is a nice person, but is scatter brained. Lectures are terrible and all over the place. Tests on things not covered in the book and tries to make the questions confusing as possible. After the first few weeks she doesn't lecture much it is mostly groups presenting chapters, which isn't helpful especially if they don't do a good job.
She is the worst professor on campus. She says "beer and pizza" every single class period. She is late on grading things. She stops teaching after the second week. I didn't learn anything. You do group work with the same group the whole semester. She is so rude and unhelpful. Do yourself a favor and DON'T TAKE HER!
Make sure you pick a good team manager. Team managers will be selected to go up to the front of class, they will talk about what they expect. Listen to the team managers carefully and choose which one you like. You will be stuck with this group for the whole semester. Professor stops teaching after the second week. Pretty much a self taught class.
Usually shows up 10min late except on test days. There are lectures but she just goes off topic, look at power points online & read textbook; you need both for exams. Pick a good group manager or the class will be tough. Late to put in grades for anything besides exam. A nice person but not a very good teacher, made the class boring.

Don't take her. She has you work really hard in groups that you're stuck with for the entire semester and the projects are worth almost nothing. The test questions have book answers but you're somehow supposed to know that her opinion is the right one. Her lectures are pointless and a waste of time. Take this class with someone else or online.
Do not take. She is extremely unorganized. She never updates her grade book. Her exam averages are D+'s because the questions are hardly from the book or lectures. You won't know if you are passing until the end. She tends to post announcements the day before at night and if you forget to bring it she'll rant about it in class the next day.
She is just the worst. By far and large the worst professor Ive ever had throughout my entire college career. No organization in the class, doesnt keep gradebook updated, and tests cover nothing thats in the textbook or lectures. Every time she mentioned the length of her dissertation, (which was often) I felt myself go bald. Do not take her.
Yikes. The final was particularly disastrous - the class average was 50%. No curve so I'm not sure how many people didn't pass the class. She does something called a team teach (18 groups in the class) and so she didn't really lecture very often. She was nice but completely arbitrary. You should really find another professor.
Avoid! I wish I would've took these ratings seriously. She's teaching organizational behavior, but she's by far the most unorganized professor I've encountered. Group projects are everything (she chooses your group). Tests have nothing to do with lectures. Her lectures are mainly about her life. She doesn't curve. Terrible at grading always behind.
By far the worse professor in my college career. Rants off topic easily. Lectures about stuff that isnt even on the exam. So unorganized with her grade book... She never updates them whatsoever throughout the semester. Save the stress and headache... DO NOT TAKE HER.
Worst teacher I've ever taken. Her lectures were sloppy, she would stop to ask questions and was very rude if you didn't give her the exact answer she wanted. Her exams were hard to understand and answer. She takes the course way to serious for a 101 course that nobody cares about. The material was interesting but she ruins it.
She is not well organized and not well prepared for the class. Her PPTs are directly copied and paste from the internet. There is no knowledge learned or wisdom in her class. There are many typos in her syllabus.
The most terrible professor in the business department at Sacramento State. She boasts about how smart and wise she is but does not know how to teach. When she speaks, she uses filler words such as "kind of you know" almost about 1000 times when she speaks. It's absolutely ridiculous. The school of business must review her.

HORRIBLE! Stuck w 1 group whole semester & they're responsible for large chunk of your grade. Stopped attending class because lectures have 0 to do with tests. Doesn't explain any assignments! Even after the semester was over she just submit our grade without posting it on canvas. My grade was a complete surprise. Her test makes absolutely no sense and you are stuck doing group projects all semester long with a group
Dr. Rioli gives tons of real life experiences and applies her class to improve yourself in current work or life. Does not give into social loafers! Grades fair yet spends time for any student who needs her help. I recorded each class because I coudn't write fast enough. Participation matters.
Professor Riolli does make you work for a good grade in her class but if you put in the effort, you will pass! I would say to be sure to read the chapters from the book as the exams emphasize textbook knowledge. HOWEVER, things mentioned in lecture may be on the exam too that are not in the book. Also be prepared for a lot of group work.
Dr. Riolli is tough but fair, explains all assignments thouroughly, answers any questions after class, responds to all questions online as well as in class. if you are a sociall loafer, you will fail. if you ar a good student who does their homework, you will pass.
Spent an entire week learning about how Olive Garden is gross. All of her lectures did not relate to the test at all. Uses too many fillers like kind of you know when she speaks and makes it confusing. If you want to pass spend 8 hours a day studying on your own. Do not depend on her slides either.
She rants a lot during her lectures. She does use things like "you know" all the time and it is distracting. hard to follow her lectures. If you talk to her and ask a question she will rant for a while. Exams were mostly from the book. Group work is pretty heavy. I missed one class and got a B. OH and final grades weren't posted on canvas.
Overall, Professor Riollli is smart and knows what she's talking about but this class is way too hard for an 101 course. We're going through a pandemic and she seems not to care. The tests are ridiculous, timed harshly, and you aren't allowed to go back on the tests, and the study guide will not help you on the tests and neither will she.

Took this class last semester and we only met online probably 5 times. Be dedicated to do the work in you own. She very knowledgeable. Do the work and you should pass easily. Dont look at all the other reviews because people probably werent dedicated. This is college and she isnt horrible.
The Professor the entire semester assigned homework that didnt prepare you for exams. I do horrible on exams, and if you fail them you will not pass. I did all my homework, and she never responded to my emails. We were given Kahoot questions, and study guides but none of them were similar to the exam. I guess you need to have everything memorized.
Class met six times via zoom and every session was zero help in preparing you for the exams. She gives study guides but the study guides alone will only get you a 70-80% score. Read and take notes from the textbook; it will be easier to complete the study guide. I did not know my grade the entire semester because she disabled the feature in canvas.

Her lectures, homework and her exams are not related to each other. Prepare to read all of the book and take notes to pass her exams. She gives assignments that are useful to her studies with her post grad students.
This professor is a complete clown. She harasses the class if your camera is off or the class is not saying anything. She's very conceited and will continuously say she doesn't care if the class doesn't want to say anything. Will only cater to what she wants and not the students'. Assigned 2 20 pgs paper, 1 75-min and 1 18-final presentation.
1. If you want to experience the harassment that JP experienced from Amber Heard, this is your class. 2. This is not a WPJ class but you will write like you're in one. 3. Consists of 20 pg individual paper, 20 pg group paper, 75 min presentation, 18 final presentation based on your group presentation. This doesn't include other writing assignments
Took this class for my self interest and thought that the lectures were the best part of the class. I highly recommend having some business experience prior to judging her teaching style. She also goes beyond what is needed to teach and help her students. More students need to understand the point of lectures but showing up to them made my day.

Her class was relatively easy, you're only required to show up to about 5 classes all semester. Those 5 classes are painful though. She comes off really abrasive. When you're working in groups she will talk over you the entire time. Her tests kind of come out of left field and you have to do endless surveys that are like 150 questions each week.
She very clearly doesn't care about the subject matter. You must attend this class 6 times during the semester, but during the actual class it's completely useless in terms of learning anything. The tests are all online on lockdown browser but are much harder than her readings, you really have to teach yourself through the book.
She does not teach the class at all. Her score is pretty accurate in measuring her teaching competence. She is a rambler when lecturing. There are less then 10 times you'll need to show up for class. Majority of grade depends on Exam (4) results. If you want to get As/Bs on exams, you must read the textbook, this is the only way.
Our class met six times during the semester and almost each one felt meaningless. None of these sessions related to the homework or tests, although the Kahoot classes might have. There are a lot of surveys which are the same recycled ones week after week. Quite frankly, this class just seems completely pointless/useless towards a business major.
TAKE THIS CLASS ONLINE. Its a waist of time for in person and she simply lectures for too long plus she only covers about half of what she says shell cover during a lecture. She doesn't finish her lectures on time and needs to hand out more projects rather than tests. It would be TREMEDNOULSY more beneficial to ALL of her students and herself.
This class was a joke in person, take online if you can. Lectures were a bunch of nothing. Assignments were the same survey over and over again. Exams were online on lockdown browser. She locks your grade for the entire semester so you don't know what you have in her class until after finals.
If you want an easy class for HROB req take her. Didn't learn a thing in the class and still managed to pass with a B. 3 exams, first is worth less then points go up more until the final. HW was easy to do about 2 per req week (total 7x2). Study guides are out for you to fill out but don't relate to exams much.
Really easy class if you want an A, really bad class if you want a good teacher. Lots of repetitive surveys that aren't made well. First three classes she talks about herself. Only 7 in class meetings (hybrid), and most of them are review sessions. Her online lectures are bad, but a lot of material based on them. She never finishes her lectures.
This professor's exams were always an attempt to throw you off from any studying you may have done and it is accounted for 70% of your grade. She does not respond to emails fast enough and her lectures are mostly her just talking about her life in Italy, with barely any coverage to actual materials. DO. NOT. TAKE
Although we only met once a week, the class felt long and difficult to sit through. Attendance is required, and grades are mostly based on three tough exams. Homework consists of time-consuming surveys, and the study guides aren't very helpful. Lectures often don't align with the textbook or exam content.
Homework assignments were easy. Tests were confusing, and sometimes questions felt like they were missing words. She gave extra credit, but inputted it into the gradebook wrong, so it had no impact on my final grade. This made me get an 89.5% in the class. Nice professor, but lectures were repetitive, and she is not good at responding to emails.
She is very difficult to understand. The mix of her heavy accent, constant use of "um", and weird voice inflections make her a nightmare to understand. I watched her lectures on 2x speed and all I could notice was her saying "um" every other word. I had a headache trying to listen to her lecture.

Please find another HROB101 Professor. She goes off topic a lot. Her exams are super difficult! She needs to take MGMT102 because her exams are super wordy and makes it so confusing! I have not learned a single thing from her. Her exams are wordy and confusing. It seems like she sets her students up to fail. She is always off topic and does not lecture in class. I learned more about Italy than HROB101. Please find another professor if you are a business major. I don't even know my grade or if I will pass her class.

This class requires a lot of out-of-class studying to succeed. If you do not read the book or watch lecture videos before class, then you will not understand what the professor is talking about during her in-class lectures. If you want an easy A without hours of studying, do not take her course.
I watched the lectures, read the chapters, studied, and still failed the final exam. You need to understand the concepts REALLY well because there will be lots of scenario-based questions on the exams. There's too much to remember and her lectures are not helpful.

honestly she's a solid 2.5/5, extremely mid. In person, she doesn't really teach too much, just talks and occasionally throw in some note-worthy things. Exams are heavily based off critical-thinking and I found her lectures to be the most useful. I'd take this class if you're capable of self-learning, otherwise you'd have trouble.

The professor only talked about her students and about Italy you have to teach yourself for this class so I don't suggest taking it also three of the classes from the semester have failed with a 50 to 60% for a grade.
