Absolutely deplorable. She is unorganized and rude, and unapologetic for both. An overwhelming amount of work for the material and very little instruction on what she wants. I would recommend this professor to absolutely NO ONE. She lacks the skills and character required to be a successful instructor. I'm embarrassed that she represents my school.

This professor is completely unorganized in every way. She gives an unreasonable amount of busy work. She puts grading on the back burner ALWAYS. Grades are due tomorrow and she still hasn't finished grading exams from mid-semester. She always has some excuse for not grading. "Taxes".. "Sickness". IT'S NOT THAT HARD. Lazy professor

Prof. Robinson seems like she's invested in her class. However, her 3150 class is unrealistic. 4 discussions per week, but for full credit they all need to be 24 hours apart. She admits her class is mostly busy work. Don't take her online if you have more than 4 classes. Her class honestly ruined consumer behavior for me which should be interesting

hate this class. do not take her. so much work and its not worth it. grades the project so hard.

To keep it short, if you take her, I hope you enjoy a tedious workload and don't enjoy your free time. What a mistake I made by thinking "It couldn't be that bad." Good Luck!

I've never had a professor as inconsiderate as Laura Robinson. She thoroughly believes that her class is more important than any other class you take. The class consisted of assignments due every day, along with a group project that lasted throughout the semester. Choose another professor, because no assignment is ever good enough. Thank me later!

This class requires A LOT. I'm doing this rating mid semester, that's how serious I am. Don't take this class if you're taking more than 6 hours. This professor doesn't care if you're taking other classes, there's literally something due everyday. One week there was 11 assignments due in this ONE class. I'm not even learning anything at this point.

she makes it TERRIBLE.I usually can put up with bad professors and get through It, but she actually made my life terrible.... SO many things to keep up with.. the class work is a work load of about 3 classes put together and on top of that she's very rude. do not listen to people that said "not that bad" bc they are probably lying.

The feedback is all over the place. Templated responses, tons of reading and too much work for 3 credit hours. Instructions were all over the place and she did not know how to use D2L in an efficient manor. Spent a lot of time trying to figure out what she wanted and where the "right" instructions were.

I don't ever use Rate My Professor but if I can help somebody avoid a semester of unnecessary stress, confusing instructions and just overall ridiculous busy work I will. Do not take her. The semester isn't even over and I can already tell that taking her class online was a mistake. She is unorganized and unclear with everything.

This class is difficult for the sake of being difficult - not to facilitate learning. The course layout is so confusing. Take any other professor and save yourself a headache. Professor Robinson clearly cares a lot, but she just doesn't do a great job with the online platform. Seriously, I know you're thinking, "it can't be that bad". It is though.

As if the class isn't difficult enough, the professor makes it even harder. The group project is absolutely ridiculous and confusing. There are FOUR discussions a week. If I wasn't waist deep, I would drop. I advise taking any other class. This one class is a bigger load than my other 3 put together.

The most disorganized class layout I've had during my years at KSU. The frequency of assignments and group projects is ridiculous. There are assignments that "aren't for a grade" but that actually do count for a portion of another grade. She has absolutely no idea how to run an efficient class. It's a clusterf*ck.

I took 5 classes over the summer semester, and I 100% had more assignments for this class than all my others combined. Do not slack off. Discussion posts are constantly due, so stay on top of it. Overall, she's a sweet and gives great feedback and extra credit, but she's a TOUGH professor. Class is passable, but it's not gonna be fun or easy.

She's the type of professor that thinks her class is the only one you're in and assigns homework as such. 6-8 assignments a week, including essays and exams due on the same day with no time to study due to the sheer amount of busy work assigned. Completely irrational but thinks everything she does is perfect. Avoid if you can.

theres atleast 4 discussions post due in a week and they cant be posted on the same day. along with that you have a huge group project with assignments related to it due every other week. grades are slow and you kind of need the feed back to start working on the next group assignment. tests aren't hard but its the amount of busy work she gives out.

The reason why this teacher is hilarious cause her expectations are a complete joke. Under a pandemic, forced online only classes and multiple sets of classes she expect her's to be the most important. 4 sets of fake discussions per week, essays, a complete business breakdown. Oh, and she'll blame you for not keeping up with her pace.

HEAVY on extra assignments that don't contribute to your knowledge of the course. DO NOT take this professor unless you want to devote 15+ hours to her class each week. It's insane. Group project is grueling. Feedback on assignments is patchy and unclear. She sends out condescending emails to students, as well.

Assigns an absurd amount of homework and is completely inept at how to even make an online class function properly. Do not take unless you have to.

She is terrible. There are 64 assignments in total for her course. Four due every single week and they are not just simple and quick assignments. On top of that, they cannot be done on the same day so you will have to do something every single day of the week for the class. She takes off an absurd amount of points for anything and everything.

Extremely confusing instruction. TONS OF ASSIGNMENTS. Has attitude when students point out she did something incorrectly. DO NOT RECOMMEND unless you want to spend a ridiculous amount of time working on this class. Takes off points for things she doesn't even specify for. Huge group project and Ridiculous amount of discussion posts.

36 chapter discussions, 12 consumer blogs, 3 module essays, 3 exams, group project with 7 due dates for various parts, vague feedback, no slack, overall annoying personality. The work itself is not hard if you can somehow understand what shes saying but geez, thats so much work along with other classes. Dont take her.

Heres the deal, as a professor she gave many chances to improve our projects and tests and even offers extra credit. All of this is in vain though, because she throws assignment after assignment at you until you have no life left. Every two days a lengthy discussion post. do yourself a favor, take another professor.

Hardest class I have ever taken & had her for 2 classes this semester. Discussions and 2 replies every week and MUST be posted on separate days. Semester long project could be good, but her feedback is harsh and degrading. Told my group we totally missed the point of the class and told us to Google a question we had for her. Pls take someone else.

Overall this is the worst online professor I have ever had. The use of her platform she makes is confusing to students considering half of her class dropped out. I however stayed through the 36 discussions 4 consumer blog essays 12 consumer blog post and 1 big group exam that she expects 8 people to work with on 5 different parts. STAY AWAY !!!!

Not online savvy and blames her mistakes on her students or the online programs. She should follow a textbook because her lectures were no better than a middle-schoolers presentation. The papers were ridiculously long and unreasonable because she didn't cover enough valuable information in her class to have any substance with your research.

Very very very difficult class. Be prepared to spend all of your time on this class. 2-3 detailed discussions, a quiz and project time every week, it becomes very difficult and overwhelming. That is not even including the three very difficult tests. The group project is not set up very well. Do not recommend taking her class.

Horrible, paper-heavy. The lectures do not cover the depth of which we are being asked to write to. Plus no textbook to rely on. The directions/expectations for assignments are too vague. I thought I would learn content applicable to my future career, but instead I'm just stressed about writing papers and meeting the word count.

Currently a senior on my 8th and final semester at Kennesaw State. Never in my four years here have I had more of a workload and had to write so many essays.

I would never recommend this professor to anyone.Some things tell you different due dates and she has other semester due dates ran into everything. She has changed the syllabus once a week it seems like. Makes you write about topics that you can barley cover half a page but expects 3 pages single spaced. Most ridiculous class I have ever taken!

I've never had a professor assign so many assignments in one week. There are times when you have multiple discussions posts, essays, and test due in the same week or even on the same day. It's overwhelming and it makes it difficult to work on other classes. Her lectures are pretty vague which makes the tests really hard. Take someone else!!

I have never in my five years of college had so much work to do. FOUR 200 word discussion posts a week, and have to post what you bought that week. A lot of weeks I would have 5+ assignments due, a lot on the same day. Her syllabus is about 20 pages long. I had less writing in my English 1101 class... DO NOT TAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have never in my life been expected to write so many discussion posts, essays, logs, and papers for one class. Not even an english class has required me to write as much as this professor requires. Unorganized all around, instructions for assignments usually do not make sense. She seems like a nice woman, but prepare to be overwhelmed & stressed.

I had to create an account just to tell y'all my awful experience. The class is very paper heavy, and she is so unorganized. Assignments either don't exist or due dates don't line up. Don't even get me started on her spelling. She can't spell to save her life. I thought these reviews were dramatic, but I should have listened. DO NOT TAKE!

I took this course online and was in no way shape or form, prepared. Professor Robinson assigns four 200 word discussion posts a week (due on Wednesdays & Saturdays), and you cannot post on the same day or you'll get points off. She's an extremely tough grader and has high expectations of you. Don't take if you enjoy having free time.

There were multiple weeks in the semester where I had three papers and a ten minute presentation due in one week. You have to open and watch all lecture videos, links, resources she will take points off your weekly participation. Super unorganized. Due dates were a mess and did not line up. Heaviest work load in my four years of college.

The group project is impossible because she does not give good feedback. She is horrible at responding to emails and will often not answer your questions. The due dates are all over the place, and taking forever to grade made the class even harder. Tests are in lockdown, but you do get the textbook.

I haven't left a review since my freshman year simply bc I have have never cared enough but not leaving a review for this teacher seems like a disservice. I had the pleasure of taking 2 of her classes this semester and in each class she was constantly mixing up due dates and assigned multiple 400 word essays every week. DO NOT TAKE HER!

Dear student if you want to learn more about marketing please take another professor. She had multiple assignments due on multiple days of the week. She grades with her emotions in turn you never know what grade you will receive. Probably one of the worst professors I have ever taken.

probably a nice person but this was an awful online class. don't know why she tries so hard to make it "unique" which makes it extremely difficult to follow... it's just entertainment marketing, take it down a notch to where I can actually learn without being given twenty assignments at a time

One of the worst professors I have taken. Listen to the other reviews. There is a group project that has so much work and will take up more time than any other class. She gives contradicting instructions and nothing is ever good enough for her. You will have to correct your papers multiple times and still receive bad grades. DO NOT TAKE!

This is one of the toughest classes I have taken at KSU just to be an elective course. This class requires a lot of writing with Essays. When given directions she needs to explain questions better.

Plz for the love of God DO NOT TAKE HER!!!! you will be stressing the whole semester !! Just a pile of work. I don't rate professors and this Is my first one because I would hate for someone to go through with this class. Even if it's the only class left open plz save yourself until another professor!!

Had her for two classes at once, ended up having 3 essays, 2 exams, and one group project all due over thanksgiving break. DO NOT TAKE! She's a nice person but such a difficult teacher. Her feedback will be longer than your essay!! Pray you get a good group, if not you will fail the class because of it (You can't even pick your group)

Believe these "red" reviews! I really wish I would've looked on here before taking her class, because everything they are saying is TRUE!! Also, the packback you have to buy is over 100$, so more than the textbook itself, and is required! Please just save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else!

I will say some assignments are very easy but they are just SO much. Everything you do in this class is a written assignment and you'll have to do so much research for sources on these papers. I thought this was going to be a fun class but it ended up being my nightmare. I genuinely feel like I got no new knowledge by taking this class.

The material itself is not hard to learn understand, but the workload for this class is a lot. There is a lot of assignments. On top of that, there is a group project that will take the entire semester to work on with so many requirements. This class took my time/focus away from my other classes.

There's too much. So, so, so much work. There's 3 exams, 3 different essay categories, with a total of 15 or so essays. Weekly discussions. About 30 minutes of doing homework is figuring out what the homework is and then another hour is spent finding where to turn it in It's just so much crap to deal with and juggle. Largest workload in my 4 years here. There are three extra credit opportunities and one makeup essay exam at the end of the semester. She also changes requirements for assignments regularly and due dates conflict with each other depending on what document you look at. If you have a lot going on do not take this class.

She is terrible. I'm in the middle of my semester and had to come here to rate how bad she is as a professor. I honestly don't understand how she is still employed. Unfortunately, you can't avoid her if you choose a marketing-related major or minor. There are numerous assignments with confusing instructions that will consume all your time. Rude too

You're in luck! Integrated and reliable schedule? No, not here. Hot tip: Laura LOVES busy work (word and footnote counts, excessive papers, discussions...).

Chose a different elective, please. I am trying to save you. She should not teach.
