She super cool best English teacher i ever had.

Very intelligent professor, loves to teach, to make you think. I thought this class was going to be an easy A. Definitely not! She assigns papers that take weeks to write. This is not a class you can miss, you need the book. This is a hard class but you will learn a lot.

Dr. Chambers will stay after class to help you, relate your papers to real life experiences, and completely explain everything in great clarity. Dr. Chambers so far has been my favorite professor and I would recommend this teacher for anyone. It's a lot of writing, but the topics are always fun and make you think.

Excellent professor, just try and you'll pass easily. Put a little effort and you will def get an A. Gives great feed back so take advatage of the fact that she will proof read your work multiple times.

I can't really say enough good things about Dr. Chambers. This has been my favorite instructor in 5 semesters of college so far. She is always descriptive about what she wants done, more than willing to provide you with helpful feedback, and is just overall very encouraging. She is really funny and makes class entertaining. Top notch.

Dr. Chambers is literally the best teacher. She is willing to answer emails whenever even on the weekends. She is completely straightforward with what she wants. She is a tough grader. As long as you have good content she does not grade too harshly. I would recommend her to everyone.

Dr. Chambers has a really good personality, she'll make you laugh every class. although she is a tough grader. i swear i deserved a B but she gave me a C -_-. btw she does'nt believe in extra credit.

Professor Chambers is one of the best professors I've had in a long time! Just take her, you won't regret it! The papers she assigns are not hard to do because she will help you one on one with it. The readings are long but do them because you'll be missing out on a great class discussion. Also, participation is part of your grade.

Dr. Chambers is extremely helpful when it comes to any information you need for essays and the 1 oral presentation. She's also hilarious and very casual in her classes. Great professor! Do NOT be late for her class! YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO OPEN THE DOOR! Also, NO EXTRA CREDIT! That doesn't matter though! You'll do fine! Put the effort in!TAKE HER!

Really easy to talk to and get feedback. Very helpful and easy to reach. Loved her course. Kind of a harsh grader but easy a if you do the assignments right, but she makes them easy to understand. Definitely would recommend to any new college student, and would take again. She was awesome!

Dr. Chambers gives you all of the resources to succeed. Follow the syllabus and manage your time so you get all of the reading and supplementals done; you need them for participation and writing. She is always available and very supportive.

Really amazing teachers, easy A if you follow her instructions and always show up to class. She does give around 3-4 essays during the semester, but she gives peer revision classes where you can come and she gives feedback on essays so you're guaranteed a passing grade, unless you never show.

Took Dr. Chambers for ENC1101 and ENC1102! Absolutely amazing professor! She is always in the SLC if you ever need anything! The assignments she gives are interesting and thought provoking with clear grading criteria! You must show up to class on time! She locks the door after the class starts! Overall, would take again for any class!

She's amazing, she helps you in and out of class and is easy to reach through email. One debate group project at the end which is kind of fun and a couple essays which are easy if you pay attention. So cool and laid back, will recommend.

Professor Chambers is a talkative, funny and nice professor. She makes you earn your grade. I passes with a B, but I had to really earn that B. You read a lot in this class, don't skip this class it will do you no good. BUY THE TEXTBOOK!!!! Do all of your readings because you will be quizzed for each reading.

Dr. Chambers is such an amazing professor. In the beginning I felt extremely anxious about participating. However, she really made the classroom a warm and safe classroom environment to go into. I loved going to class, and I'm sad that today was my last day of class. Definitely taking her for ENC 1102. I highly recommend her to any student.

It's not hard to pass this class. Show up and do your work and you will pass. She's very good about making sure you have everything you need. If you're late, you're not getting in the door but you will still be able to get the material, just go to her office or talk to other students. Also, know how to write in 3rd person.

Professor Chambers class was one you will never forget. She has a very outgoing personality and treats every student with care and respect. I took this as an accelerated 8 week course, so there was a decent amount of homework, but nothing that wasn't manageable. Class was in a computer lab so she gave us lots of class time to do the work. Prof Chambers herself is awesome - very accessible, gets you to think, very eager to help if you need it. Can't go wrong taking her.

You only have 3 essays to write and they are all real life scenarios that make it super easy to write about. She is also very funny, always knows how to make class go by quickly and keeps you awake. Also her powerpoints are short and sweet.

Professor chambers wasn't difficult. There was 3 essays and a final career project, she definitely made me write essays I wasn't used to writing, like rhetorical analysis, but she gives a good explanation and helps you through email. No textbook all readings posted on blackboard. You are expected to read a few before each class. Would take again.

Dr. Chambers was good. Class wasn't hard. Only had two papers and a presentation as the final. Readings had to be done, but they were short and could be accessible online. No textbook :) She was funny and cool. Would take again.

Awesome prof. She makes class enjoyable and makes you think. Its a pretty easy class. There are a couple of papers and reading quizzes but theyre not too bad.

I took her first during fall 2017. She has amazing lectures that make you manifest on social problems. She provides you with pdf versions of books online. If you have trouble with an essay email her or visit the writing lab. She makes herself accessible to students. There are 3 essays, a presentation, and reading quizzes (occasionally).

Dr. Chambers is one of my favorite professors at PBSC. She's really helpful in and out of the classroom. There were 2 writing assignments, 2 essays, 1 annotated bibliography, and a final debate which wasn't hard. She can be a tough grader but you feel really good when you do well.

No need for textbook she provides you with reading passages. My third course taken with this professor, she is wonderful! The readings were engaging tbh. I took this class with her other writing class so my work was doubled. There are 2 essays, 2 "exams", 1 final essay. Sometimes pop quizzes. She is not hard but writing may not come easily to every

She is an awesome professor! You do have to work for your grade, but if you do your assignments you will do well. She is hilarious and adds super interesting critiques to her lectures.

She is a phenomenal professor. She gives you the class schedule at front and there are no surprises. She does expect her students to read assignments and participate in class. You do need to put effort into this class, but she will help you with anything if needed. Truly a great asset to the school. I would take any classes she offers.

Shes super good with feed back and clear with instructions for the work. The only thing i would say that she has wrong is that she takes forever to grade but other then that if you follow the instructions you should be fine !!! i passed with an A ,

Took her class in a 6 week semester online and it was so simple! She doesn't give extra credit and she doesn't accept late work but she is honestly an easy grader. She is very happy to help you if you email her. Her articles are interesting and you can write about the stuff you care about. A great professor, get her while you can.

The class is super easy and there arent many papers. There are one or two that are a little heavier in terms of how much you have to do, but besides that it is not hard. She gives an easy final project and the assignments are easy to get an A on. There is not a ridiculous amount of work, just the slightly less then expected amount.

Fair, and will give you everything up front. No extra credit. Always gave me feedback, and appreciated her willingness to help me better my papers.

I love Professor Chambers. She is so funny and really cares about and gets to know her students. She treats her students like equals and allows for all opinions to be shared and validated. The course was interesting, and you basically just have to show up and occasionally give feedback. The readings due before class are not long and are easy. :)

As expected of ENC1101 its a writing class so get ready to write. Chambers was an amazing professor and super funny. She cares about her students and wants to here from them. Kind hearted person and always there to help you out on you papers. I would take her for every course if she taught them. Amazing professor you won't regret taking her.

Dr. Chambers is a cool teacher. She is chill but she does hold an expectation for all her students (Punctuality). She is caring and funny. She provides a safe environment for students to express their opinions. Arrive to class on time she will lock you out. There are no second chances when turning in homework late.

She really is an amazing professor and wants to bring out the best in everyone. Not a lot of assignments just big papers every 2-3 weeks on topics that actually matter. Responds quickly to emails and love to help and answer questions.

I took this professor for my college composition 1 class. As far as online classes go it was very straight forward. She did not check in much or grade super harsh so as long as you hand all your papers in on time and follow the rubrics you will get an A.

Took condensed summer course which consisted of easy assignments and 3 essays. She does not give As for the essays! You must follow super explicit directions for the essays and you will earn an A.

Her online class was great in my opinion. The instructions she provides for each assignment is clear and thorough, I would definitely take her class again. She also is good at getting back to you when it comes to emailing her. Make sure you get your work done on time, missing one assignment can drop your grade a whole letter grade!

Dr. Chambers is a great professor and wants every student taking the course to have an opportunity to pass her class. She is very much opened to questions and understands students when it comes to flexibility and scheduling. Though the workload is a bit much, she makes sure every student knows what they are learning and fully comprehends thelesson.

Very understanding, wants her students to learn, and respected my preferred name when I emailed her at the beginning of the year. A bit intimidating to me only because it was my first college class as a dual enrolling high schooler, but a good professor. I got a D because I skimped out on the final-- highly suggest you do not do that.

This was a 6 week so there was many readings. Every week the only hw was a discussion post or a paper/final paper. I recommend this class if you want to learn more about African lit. but make sure to have some skills in analysis of text already and use resources like SLC to review your writing. Make sure to ask if you are ever confused. Good class!

I took this class back in 2015 so I forgot if attendance was mandatory but I liked her class. She gives good feedback on drafts which helped me write better essays in the future for other classes. Overall class was pretty enjoyable and she was kind of funny.

Amazing professor, if you fail her class blame yourself. Dr. Chamber, explains everything and gives explain of what she wants.

She is very caring, she will stay after class to work with you one on one with any questions you have on assignment's. Breaks down lectures in ways people can easily understand. bases lectures on real world issues. Has 3 essays and for the final is a slideshow power point project. overall not such a stressful class, and is worth taking.

Decent teacher. Didn't interact much with her, papers can be a little confusing and will put your grade down for tiny mistakes. If you have a question about something don't hesitate to ask.

Her conversational style adds to her approachability. The door gets locked by class time, so be sure to arrive early!

I loved Dr. Chambers! She was very personable and always made us feel welcome in class. No tests, or lots of hw but a lot of major assignments like essays and a final debate. She also cancels class a lot, which is nice but makes me feel like I'm wasting money! However I'd 100% take her again because I felt like she really cared about her students.
