I love her teaching style. I haven't taken math in 3 years and doing really well. She makes sure everyone understands before moving on, I really appreciate that. And the candy on tests days is nice too.

I took this class online, during the summer. What a rush. But to be honest, I kind of like having an exam every week because the info was fresh. She was very attentive. Everything was straight forward, and the notes were available online. Easy class if you do your work.

Great class- 5 homework assignments (long but easy and multiple choice, lowest grade is dropped), 5 tests (all multiple choice, lowest grade is dropped), and 1 final you don't have to take if you already have an A. AMAZING professor!! She knows her stuff and she's dang funny. Attendance isn't mandatory but if you want to get some extra credit questions right on the exams GO TO CLASS!! Seriously the BEST teacher I've had at WSU...she makes everything pertain to real life to help you understand. Homework assignments are easy to get an A on & she drops your lowest assignment score & test score if after the first five tests you have an 89.5% or above she considers you an A and you don't have to take the final!! Very funny and very nice, and she has an awesome southern accent. She does a very good job at teaching. You are not required to attend, but I suggest it. It's a fun class. Reading the chapters helps on the tests. Very good teacher. I loved her.

Kind of a hard subject for me I took it online. I still managed a B- when I was afraid that I wouldnt get a decent grade on account that she will drop your lowest test grade which helped a lot it was stressful but I had seen how many great reviews she had so I would hate to imagine how much harder it would be with out her But over all great helpful

She was one of the nicest, funniest, professors that I've had so far! She truly cares about her students and their success. She made learning fun and interesting. I'm not a good test taker so her exams were tough at times but overall it wasn't too difficult.

Enjoyed the class. Took the online version. Homework requires reading and then just completing online flash cards which are exceptionally helpful for the tests anyway. Once you complete all the flash cards, you're done with the homework. She drops the lowest grade, so if you do the homework and take the tests, you'll do fine and can probably skip the final! Enjoyable lecture materials to review and incredibly interesting if psychology is your thing.

I got over 100% on the first two exams, plus she lets you drop the lowest exam score if you take the final. Take any class you can from her, she is that good.

As an online class, this was fantastic. She tells you exactly what she expects and what is due when. She emails the class every week for reminders and tells you when there are discussions coming up to come to. Super organized and you really learn a lot from the class. I would definitely take more classes from her, and it's totally worth your time

This was a 7 week class and it was intense due to the shorter time frame but she has so many tools to help you succeed; weekly emails to keep you on task & weekly chats to answer any questions you have. Responds quickly to emails. Tests are tough but passable if you do the homework & read. Modules for each chapter with activities to help you learn.

Loved Dr Fowler. Four exams which were tough, but if you go to class you'll be fine. She also drops a test in my case she dropped the comprehensive final. I love Dr. Fowler! However, avoid this class if it is team-taught with Dr. Trask. The two have such different teaching styles and expectations that it creates a headache on tests. They also assign much more homework than I have ever seen for a three credit hour class, including group projects, reading a novel outside of class, and a weekly quiz

Professor Fowler was one of the best online professors I've ever had. She gives you everything and then some to succeed in this class. This is a senior level course, but she will allow non-seniors in. She is wonderful. Positively wonderful. She just wants to make sure that the students learn something and are thinking critically, and this applies for all her classes. As long as she sees you are trying, you will do fine. Dr. Fowler, 5/5

Drugs and the brain class. Would highly recommend taking this class from her, she is a wonderful lecturer, though often falls behind schedule. If you read the book you will do much better in the class. She is always open to questions, and often answers many questions students have after class. I loved this class and how we learned. She used a smart book and it tested us. If you do the tests over and over again you will pass the class. I got an A out of this class and really enjoyed it! The smart book tests count as homework and then she does an easy concept essay. I highly recommend her!

I loved this professor. I took this class online and how organized she was made taking this class so painless. She had the difficult assignment of picking the right materials to help you learn the subject while not in a classroom. She did a great job! The smart book that she has you use helped me so much as did her outlines and power points.

Professor Fowler is very caring of her students. She wants everyone to understand the material. Theres a test every 2 weeks so its not a whole lot of information. No cumulative exam which is nice. She is a little strict on to talking during class which got annoying but overall a very good teacher. Loved the class.

Dr. Fowler is amazing!! She has clear expectations and gives you PLENTY of tools to pass this class with an A. Tests are majority of your grade but you should do fairly well if you study all of the material she gives you (which is a lot). This was my favorite course so far at Weber State. Professors can make or break an experience in a class but Dr. Fowler made it worth while.

All the homework is done through Connect, yes they are big assignments (100 questions) BUT if you do them they help a lot on the tests. Also go to her scheduled Chats, she will answer all you questions and it helps a TON for the tests. She gives 5 tests plus the Final, and she drops your lowest test score- that includes the Final.

I actually searched to see if she had any more classes I could take. I would definitely recommend her. Her class is well laid out & very detailed instructions. She is easy to reach & passionate about her subject matter. She gives plenty of options to get help (chat, discussions, email). I loved this class and Dr. Fowler was fantastic!

I took this class online and it was a complete breeze. The material wasn't challenging for me, but if it is she provides tons of resources on canvas and she drops your lowest test grade.

I actually really enjoyed this class even though I was an online student. She really tries to be available at all time to all of the students. Its an easy A all the way. The exams depend on the amount of information so they can get a little lengthy, but is not tough information at all. I highly recommend if you need an online class.

Use test guides and use the end of chapter quizzes to ace exams. A lot of reading, but is all highlighted for the important parts. Assignments are easy as long as you got the material you read. Extra credit is offered and one exam is dropped (if you do well enough, you don't have to take the final). Good class to get into psychology.
