This professor was great! She was always willing to help me with everything I needed. She is great with being available at her office hours and really wants you to succeed. I highly recommend taking her classes if you want to learn and also if you want to feel like a professor actually cares about your education.

Well organized. Super helpful. She worked with me on homework problems in class and helped our group during group work. She also answered my questions and helped me understand accounting principles during office hours. You can tell she has a passion for accounting and genuinely wants you to learn. I'm thinking of taking her other classes now.

This is my favorite professor at Mesa. Always there when you need help. class is not hard at all as long as you follow along and practice, repetition is key to getting an easy A in the course. I took her 116 A and B course and do not regret it, she is truly amazing and awesome. I got an injury during semester and she helped me catch back up

I recommend this prof! She's honestly the best prof in the bus dept! She explains the material thoroughly and will make sure you understand it.She gives out additional worksheets for every chap which are very similar to the exams. Lets you drop your lowest exam! Offers alot extra cred. If you are able to get a spot in her class, take her class!

The class is a lot of work. Homework and quizzes are online as well as other assignments. Study guides are given and helpful. I found that at times she may not be great at explaining things. Easy class but a lot of work. Lectures are from Powerpoint from the book.

Professor Wade knows her material well, she is available after hours to help any student who is confused. Her Study Guides are a useful tool that will help you to ace the exam. Took both 116A and 116B with her, she makes accounting easy to understand. I would recommend if you are going to take accounting to definitely do it with Professor Wade.

I hate accounting and to my surprise I did got 100's on all my tests. The lectures and homework will be much harder than the tests. The test are literally the easiest parts of the chapters and she always has extra credit on them. You will have to study a lot to pass though. Lectures are really engaging! You wont fall asleep! I love her!

Very straight-forward class. I would highly recommend for anyone taking 116A with no prior accounting knowledge. DO THE HOMEWORK. She is a great teacher and knows her stuff. Also, the class isn't boring with her teaching.

Prof Wade is hands down the best Prof I have ever had. She comes off strong at first but you soon find out she is incredibly helpful and cares about her students. Her lectures are clear and she makes an otherwise dull subject really interesting. She also provides an SG before each exam which are a lifesaver. GO TO CLASS, it's worth it.

Professor Wade makes accounting interesting but when she lectures she writes on the board and has the powerpoint up as well.

Lauren is great! I had no interest in accounting at all but she made it interesting and enjoyable for me. Her lectures are very thorough and she has a great review before exams. 4 exams and 1 is dropped. Pay attention and you will do well, she's very easy to talk to if you need help. Tons of in class examples. I'm taking her again for 116B!

She is great in explaining the material. I wasn't a fan of the textbook, seemed so confusing to me. But when you attend her lectures, she clarifies everything perfectly and welcomes students ask questions. Homework is definitely time-consuming. She also walks you step by step through exam's material.

She is a fantastic professor. The subject can be very challenging and you will absolutely need to be in class in order to pass. The tests are difficult but the subject is difficult so you should expect that. If you are the type that can show up to every class and take literally a book of notes, you will do well in this class. More than fair!

I never do these ratings. But Proffesor WadeKhader is the most amazing accounting teacher. She will help you with anything you need. Her study guides are exactly like the test format. Do all your homework, quizes & pay attention you will get an A! BTW i was terrified of accounting but she made me actually enjoy the subject.

Professor Wade is a great at teaching accounting and I am glad that I took this class. I came from an online ACCT 116A course and was hesitant in taking ACCT 116B on campus. She takes the time to explain each concept that you must know and reviews for all tests to ensure you will understand everything that is needed. Great office hours as well!

Accounting 116B Managerial accounting. The lectures are really great. She is an active teacher who likes her students to actually do the problems instead of just her talking. I regret not taking financial accounting with her if you have the chance take both with her great teacher.

Lauren is awesome! By all means take her class. She loves what she teaches, and she is amazing at explaining the material and making it crystal clear for you. And if you need to earn some extra points, she is happy to work it out with you.

Took her during the summer! She DOES NOT tolerate students who SKIPS & arrive LATE to class. This is a tough course but she's super clear w her lectures. She covers everything from head to toe. If you LISTEN, TAKE NOTES & do ALL the work, there's really no reason to not get an A. She gives study guides to her test as well.

Professor Wade comes off a bit strong at first, but she has been one of the best professors I've ever had. I was nervous about taking accounting for the first time and she made the subject crystal clear. Go to class, listen and take notes. Her study guides tell you exactly what will be on the test. HW is usually harder than the test.

Took her for both Acct 116A & B. Homework & quizzes for every chapter & 3 tests 1 final. She lets you drop your final if you miss class less than 3 times and is happy with your previous tests score. It's accounting so of course you need to put more effort into it than your music class. TAKE NOTES, PAY ATTENTION, BE THERE, DO THE STUDY GUIDE! EASY A

One of the best teachers to take for managerial accounting. Strict but to the point and very nice. Helpful too! Reviews the entire material for tests the class before. But make sure you practice the problems over and over again. Gives extra credit too.

Get ready to do a lot of HW online, but dont worry if you pay attention in class it will be easy, just time comsuming. The Hw also preps you for her test which are open answer, which you will love in accounting (Partial Credit FTW). Finally you do not want to miss many classes, she lets you skip the final if you have good attendance.

Professor Wade is available during office hours to help you. Attendance is totally mandatory. If you miss more than 3 classes, you have to take the final. If not, she lets you drop your lowest test grade and your two lowest quiz grades. Tests are straight forward, no surprises. She gives you a study guide but the key to getting an A is PRACTICE !!!

If you want to learn take her!! homeworks are very time consuming tho. but I learned so much! and would for sure recommend her! and I'm taking her 116b for sure!

There's so much homework! But it's all for your benefit as the student. Practice is the only way to learn accounting and Professor Wade knows that. It's a tough class but you will learn accounting. Tip: use the accounting lab software fully, there are a lot of tools that are very helpful. And ask questions! She responds hella fast to all emails.

I'm about to graduate from SDSU with a business major, and I will tell you all my accounting knowledge come from professor Wade. I still remember all the main concepts she taught us four years later. She gives a very strong foundation of accounting to transfer further to any advanced university. Class is not the easiest but you'll learn a lot.

She comes off as someone that has a rather strong personality, but to me that's a good thing. It shows her passion and knowledge about accounting. Some might get intimidated but she really does try hard to help you. Grading criteria is extremely organized and clear. I would say the class you would not want to miss is the review day before exams.

Very intelligent professor, made the content clear and simple to understand. She does go over a lot of things in class so it's important to not miss too many. Do well on first three tests and you'll earn an opportunity to skip the final. Great professor highly recommend, low-key attractive as well

I took this during the summer and the course was clear and concise. There were Chapter Preassignments, Homework, discussion boards and then exams. Total 4 exams, but each exam only had 2-3 chapters in it. If anything, the homework is the most difficult part and takes a good part of your time. I believe I got a B or higher in this class.

She has lots of experience in auditing that makes her classes so inspiring. She seems distant sometimes, but in fact, she is really nice. She's passionate about accounting and auditing as well as teaching them.

I took 116A online. Homework pre-assignments, chapter homework and discussion board posts. Turn in schedules are Tue, Thurs. and Sat. Ask for her help she is quick to reply, follow her power points & videos. Two part tests are timed open book. Syllabus is clear, follow it. All work in myaccouninglab with practice work and help me solve options.

Professor Wade is, in my opinion, the most compassionate and caring professor I have ever had. She demonstrates her love of being a teacher through her lessons and interactions with her students. Ms. Lauren is an amazing teacher. I took her class online and was accessible via phone if I needed help with something. Might come off as distant, but she's absolute sweetheart once you get to know her, especially if she sees you're trying. Syllabus was fair and her tests give you a good amount of time to answer the questions. Love that lady! XD

She's a very good teacher that should be at a better school, a very talented professor that is exactly what every student wants. She gives you everything to get an A and if you study maybe 3 days before every test it's pretty easy to get an A. Ther is also lots of extra credit and homework that goes into your grade which makes it easier to get A.

She is a good Professor and the course has an abundance of Managerial Accounting Information. she thinks she talks to fast and in reality, she doesn't. My brain couldn't process all that information that fast is what was going on. It wasn't her fault. She is a really good professor if you want all the answers about managerial booking.

I absolutely loved Prof Wade! She's an amazing professor, who really cares about accounting and it shows. She was very understanding throughout the semester, which helped as the material can be confusing at times. I would definitely recommend taking her for accounting.

Do the work and the extra credit and there is no way you won't pass. Wade cares and is super understanding and open to helping students. Could not recommend her more.

P. Wade is a sweet caring individual. Her class has lots of tools to understand the accounting concepts. They are difficult to grasp. Be prepared to spend hours on end doing the preassessments, homework and exams. Take all the notes you can to make sure you remember how to do the problems. It's like putting a puzzle together. It's a lot of fun.

Challenging material, but Prof Wade cares and is v helpful. Definitely go to lectures, she explains everything well, unlike those professors that just read off 20 year old slides. HW assignments (unlimited attempts) take time, but it's more due to material than Prof. 4 online tests, 2 attempts each, drops lowest score. Great professor and class!

You will want to take Lauren Wade for Accounting 116A. She provides a ton of videos and reading material if you ever get lost. She is also accessible if you still can't understand the material. Just do all of the required work and you will pass with an A+.

My 3rd time taking Acc and I easily got an A because she is so awesome and helpful. She really cares about her students and wants everyone to be successful. Her class is straightforward, offers extra credit and includes so additional helpful material. Highly recommend, you would have to try to not pass.

Nice professor, but the assignments take hours. I'm pretty on top of homework but I found myself drowning a lot of the time. If you attend the lectures and pay attention you should be good! I liked this class a lot it challenged me and she really cares about you and succeeding!

Not enough good things I can say about professor Wade. She's so smart and so caring. Her lectures are VERY informative and she utilizes the entire time. We get 2 HW assignments a week, everything is online (even tests) and everything is due at the end of the semester. If you're majoring in accounting, I highly recommend her.

The class itself is great but it's pretty much half online which isn't really what I signed up for. All the lectures are in person but every homework assignment and test is all online through a program called Pearson and I really grew to hate the program. Professor Wade is super helpful and offers plenty of office hours if you're confused.

Know's accounting extremely well puts TONS of effort into her class. Total rockstar; she empathizes with her students. Accounting is a challenging subject, but her set-up in class of assignments and exams due at the end of the semester gives students the liberty to study at their own pace despite taking the class in person. PLUS EXAM RETAKES ONLINE

You will have the purchase a textbook online but it does provide 95% of the work you will be doing. It is a bit confusing to navigate at first but just listen to what instructions she provides and you should be good. I am not a fan of accounting but this course is manageable if you manage your time correctly!

She's really good at lecturing and teaching accounting principles. She's one of the better professors at Mesa. Her professional insights are highly valuable too. I think everyone should learn accounting, and shes the right professor for that.

Professor Wade provides helpful study materials and videos. You'll be using time outside of class, but if you keep up and put in the effort, you can succeed. be on time, show up to class ready.

One of the best teachers, hands down, at Mesa College. She inspired me to pursue accounting. At first, I almost dropped the class because it was difficult, but she helped me through my questions, and now it is my major! 100% recommend!

Professor Wade was great. She doesn't care if you show up or if youre late if you miss class be prepared to catch up. Her lectures are super informative and helpful, HW does take a decent amount of time but if you truly pay attention and study the notes you can easily understand it. cant wait to take her managerial class.
