She is so sweet. DO NOT use your phone in class or talk to people. She hates that (she has every right). Attending class is mandatory. She puts up some things online from class but not all. Tests are straight forward and easy if you study the material. Read the book!! And regularly check blackboard! Loved this class!

Five 2 page papers about various topics. She grades the papers based on requirements not on your content or your opinion. There is one 5 page paper about a book of your choice or your experience visiting a court room while in session. The class is extremely interesting. I look forward to going... definitely not boring. Light reading on good topics.

Always go to class she will given random quizzes if class is empty. Several discussions in the class makes it interesting and she really does enjoy what she teachers.

Very down to earth professor who is willing to work with you. She has a strict no phone policy but as long as you pay attention, you will make an A. It is pretty straight forward and she doesn't play games with you.

The only problem was that even though the class was easy, she had very different opinions than me. Her ideas are much more liberal than mine. However, she encourages debate, which was actually fun.

Mrs. Yearout is such a sweet lady. She truly wants everyone to do well in her class and to learn something. There are 2 tests (mid-term & final) which she tells you what to expect on them both. I wouldn't bother buying the textbook if you go to class, because everything on the midterm is covered in lectures.
