Mrs. Goodling is a very good teacher. Her grading is tough and attendance to the class is key.

She is a cool teacher but if you miss a day be prepared to get like 20 zeros.

She's an awesome teacher. You defenately have to go to class because she won't let you make stuff up. I learned a lot in her class and she's very helpful. You'll have lots of grades but those are just papers and some short quizzes. Take her!

She is an excellent teacher, but if you slack of she won't care. Do whatever she say, it does not have to be perfect. You will definately make an A. One thing is very clear in her class. If you don't care she doesn't neither.

Wondeful teacher and awesome class this was the first English class I liked and I got an A on all my papers and in the class. Web component to the class was awesome some days you don't even have to go to class you just do it from your computer and it isn't much work to do. highly reccomend!!!!

Very professional. Students just leaving high school may have a bit of adjustment to do, however young adults will enjoy this class. Very understanding professor and will work with you to accomplish your goals.

First of all she is really hot, so that makes learning much more fun. She is very involved and has a true love for the literature, her focus is always on the subject..shes a good teacher.

I loved her...she makes writing easy and fun and grades according to the effort that you put into the papers you write...I never had a problem with her or her teaching!

If you try you'll make an A. She's not at all hard. But don't be late or absent because she has a professionalism grade which is 5%. Overall, I'd recommend her.

Most of the grade is based on essays. She doesn't grade easy, but if you try and listen to her you'll do fine. If you love feminism and ****ity, you'll also love this class.

She is a great english teacher. She will gladly answer any questions you have. She is fair when she grades papers, and if you are having trouble in class don't worry, she offers a ton of extra credit. I would recommend her to anyone.

I took this class online, so i can't tell you anything about fer hotness or importance of class attendance. But don't expect her to keep reminding you ( a college student) to do your work. You are getting a zero if you don't. But if you make the effort, Good for you. She is simply the best professor for World Literature. Take her class.

All I can say is BEST online teacher ever. Class was not. Just make sure keep up with discussion. There are three essays, and 1 test, and the rest book reading. FUN topics, and teacher is always available. I Love class, and I hate English........:)

Class was fun but you have to read a lot. If you use outside info on essays be smart about it. I did'nt read most of the stories and I was still able to write essays just by using sparknotes/pinkmonkey. She knows who's paying attention and gives pop quizes if nobody responds to her questions. Open class discussions most of the time.

Online class~ Prof. Goodling is extremely helpful. Gives great advice for your papers, and chances to submit rough drafts and get feed back. The discussions weren't too time consuming. Exams aren't hard if you do the required reading and study MLA. Great teacher!!

Mrs. Goodling is one of the most involved teachers I have had in an online class. She posts things daily and makes it feel like a real class. She obviously loves what she does. She is very helpful. I felt a little overwhelmed at times, but everything got done on time. Take her online. You won't have to self-teach the whole course. She was great.

This has been an awesome semester and I give full credit to Ms. Goodling. She has been my favorite teacher since I started college. I plan to take her Lit class in the spring. It was my first on-line class, I had a blast. Her tests were pretty hard. There is lots of reading but it's do-able in the time she gives you.She gives you a couple of weeks with-out any h/w,most work can be done in teams or w/a partner. I got a 100 on my final project. Instead of a research paper do a 15 pg power point activity,(lots of pictures)

Had Ms. Goodling for ENGL 1101 and 1102, majority of grade is composed of papers and projects. Ms. G is a fair grader, but seeks correct grammar and format on papers. She always provides feedback and help if needed. I took her Online class.

I took it online.I had my fears in the begining, but I continued with stride. She makes the class fun and stories great! Alot of work, but Professor Goodling is an excellent teacher. I took this class and I made a 79.2 in the class, which I thought was awesome considering I didn't read one of hundreds of long stories we were required to read. The only thing I absolutely hated about the class is we used turnitin.com, so if you didn't post an assignment correctly she doesn't give you an opprotunity to resubmit it.

Ms. Goodling requires you to read many stories and complete a service learning project. She respondes to emails and discussion posting in a quick manner. She is a good teacher and gives plenty extra credit assignments.

I was skeptical about taking World Lit. online but really glad I did! She is an amazing teacher, unorganized at times but bearable. There are MANY stories to read but I was able to get my way through googling them up. The tests were long but not hard questions... just need to watch the clock! World Lit is not an easy class. It requires a lot of reading. However, if you do "all" your reading and the homework assignments on time, you will get an "A." Ms. Goodling is an excellent professor and she gives several opportunities for extra credit. I not only got an "A"(95.2),but also 100 on the final PowerPoint Project. Hard work does pay off!

I took this course online and I thought it was pretty good. I didn't like the term project where we had to do 15 hours of volunteer work (I don't have enough time for that), but other than that I enjoyed her class and thought it was fairly easy.

Great, organized, clear instructor. Stickler on grammar. Several essays with final research paper, though this can change. A lot of reading. Overall, grade-A instructor.

Ms. Goodling is absolutely great. Took her class online and she is very organized, replies to all emails fast, gets involved in all discussions, explains the material well, only 3 tests (better read and study). A lot of reading but you learn a lot. Offers extra credit! 10 total easy homework which is 20% of grade. I definitely recommend her!

I took Professor Goodling for ENGL 2111 (World Lit) and she is a GREAT teacher. Her course is really easy to follow and she puts a lot of effort into her class and helping her students. The textbooks are a little challenging but overall her class is worth taking! Best literature teacher I've had.

I took ENGL 2111 online and Ms. Goodling was great. She is helpful, passionate, and understanding. I was very pleased with having her as an instructor. I made a high B in her class. The material in the course is interesting. She does a good job. I'm happy with my experience in her class!

You have to work in this class, but I found it thoroughly enjoyable. Expect to read a lot it is a Literature class. She only requires one paper which is not a lot and if you read her notes and the material her tests are not so bad. She is very involved in discussion posts and answers questions timely.

I learned a lot. She makes you think. If you are a writer, this is the course for you.

This class does require tons of reading as other raters listed. You will be fine on the test as long as you review her notes, read all her post, and use simplified versions of the text she gives you to read (ex.clif notes). She responds to your questions or concerns quickly. The class is fine just dont stress to much over it;think outside the box.

I had no interest in the course prior to taking it, but I actually enjoyed the material. Professor Goodling was always very helpful with questions or concerns. If you have to take an English course in this section,choose her class!

Professor Goodling does not deserve the bad comments at all! She is a WONDERFUL instructor if not the best I have ever had. I took her class online. It did require a lot of reading but I also learned a lot. I worked hard for my grade on this course and got an A. Slackers, run. But if you want to learn, please take her! You won't be sorry.

She is one of the best Lit professors at GPC. Her class was a lot of work, but everything was very manageable. She kept up with deadlines.

This professor does not have any cosideration for her students. I took a online class to ease myself from the hassle of going to school and working a full time job. For Goodlings class she requires a service learning compontent, PLUS to add all of her tests, quizzes, and additional reading requirements. She just requires too much for A ONLINE class

I had Ms G in the Fall of 2011. She was very helpful and clear on all of her assignments. She was also very quick to respond to emails in regards to questions. There was a service component of 6 hours, which was a breeze. I tried taking 1102 but could not commit to the service component. The class objectives are clearly stated before you sign up.

The professor is very clear on what she wants and gives ample time for completion and great feedback. I would recommend this class to those who don't normally like English classes. This class comes with a service learning project that is both rewarding and challenging. Course is relatively easy -- just do the work and you will do great.

First off let me say before i took this class i HATED English. I could never understand what i was doing wrong and most teachers never took the time to help me. I took this English class online and Love it!! she is extremely helpful. I found the semester's theme to be very interesting and I now have a better understanding on what i need to work on.

She grades hard! However, the reading was interesting, she doesn't give too much work, she is willing to work with students, and she is nice. Best online class I've had at gpc, and most interactive teacher as well.

I took this class online as long as you do all your work you should be good. It takes time, but it is not hard. Very sweet teacher.

Always answers questions quickly, and gives good advice on papers. Very tough grader, though. I have always made A's in English, I finished this class with a B. I took a summer session and the work seemed appropriate. I had to read about five stories, five poems, and write three papers. Best thing about the class? The content was very interesting

Ms. G. is great. Very knowledgeable and helpful. If you are looking for hand holding you wont find it here. You have to do the work, but she will help you as long as you ask. Very involved with the class discussion.

Ms. G is awesome! One of my favorite teachers at GPC and my absolute favorite for online courses. She's helpful, encouraging, professional, and friendly. I made good grades throughout her Creative Writing class, but I saw consistent improvement. In the end, I made an A and took out a lot more than I thought I would. Highly recommend!

Mrs. G is great! I took her First Year Seminar class in my first semester and she was very helpful, friendly, and most of all understanding and encouraging. I had some issues and I was dealing with extremely high stress levels, and she helped me get through it, and she gave me great advice. I just kept in touch, and she worked with me. She's great!

The online layout were a little hard to understand. The wording of some of the lessons were hard to understand and follow.

If you are looking for a instructor who cares about her students success then you found her. Ms G is fantastic and I hope to take future classes with her.

Ms. G is a great instructor! Her assignment may seem a little hard but she is willing to answer any questions and help out students that ask for it. She goes out of her to help students do well on assignment. I took it for a June-mester so it was short but with her help and a lot of hard work, I ended up with an A. And English is my worst subject!

What is there to say about Goodling. She's awesome, really great teacher, cares about her students and VERY understanding. Do yourself a favor and take her class. I am waiting until Fall 2016 to take her 1102, that's how much I liked her.

Awesome teacher and person in general. She cares about your success in school! I took a seminar class with her and learned a lot! I am waiting to take my english 1102 with her! We did a lot of projects which were fun and interesting! it's never a boring day in her class. She's pretty straight forward and is very helpful. Definitely recommend

Simply amazing!! It was great to have her as my first professor in a college. She is really helpful!!

This course was an easy A, just do the assignments, there aren't many 4 to be exact, and you'll get a decent grade. My only downside was that this semester she seemed to take forever to respond to questions and the lack of assignments made it easy to get lazy and procrastinate.

Great Professor!

This class wasn't so bad. There are four unit tests and lots of reading. The message board is there but pretty much optional. I recommend her, she's better than the other online teachers for this course. My only gripe is it takes her too long to respond to emails, I've send her emails on one day and didn't get a response until two days later.

For the most part this is a work at your own pace class. The test are spaced out, but the homework is all due at the end of the semester. This makes it easy for busy students. She responds quickly to emails and gives you tons of extra information that is helpful on your test. I loved this class and the professor.

She's very present, responsive, helpful, and clear about what she expects. Lots of reading, but it's a Lit class! Two tests which are easy if you read the notes. Two required discussions, the rest are legitimately optional (no sneaky stuff). All homework is submitted at once at the end of the semester. Easy to fall behind, but DON'T.

This teacher is wonderful. If your a student who actually wants to learn and you want a teacher that wants the same, you should take this class. This professor cares for her students and as long as you do your work and give it a good effort, your grade will reflect that. Take her she is great!

Dr. Goodling is an Excellent instructor. If you READ your work and completes your assignments, you should not have any issues in her class. She gives three exams on the work assigned. If your have concerns, Dr. Goodling will be there for you.

She had trouble giving exactly what she wants out of an assignment, but she was very lenient on grades and nice. Responded quickly to e-mails and gave good feedback after essays. Excellent teacher!

I feel in between about this class, wasn't the best but it wasn't the worst. There is a ton to read, but there's supposed to be it's a literature class. Tests were ok, not too hard, but the homework is rough. Assignments take a while to complete, but make sure you know the material. 3 Test's, 10 HW assignments, a final and 1 project.

Dr. Goodling was my first experience dealing with college professors while still being in high school. She was overall an amazing teacher, gave clear instructions with assignments, and brought the class in on a more personal level so it wasn't just a student teacher relationship but deeper than that. When grading, she always gave amazing feedback

Clear expectations for papers and more than enough time to polish and submit them. She gives plenty of extra resources for each assignment to help you do well, even if you're not up on your MLA style. Writing topics were interesting, she gives great feedback, and she's very accessible during the semester. Really enjoyed this class!
