Professor Garrett is extremely enthusiastic in her teaching method, which is very infectious. She makes extremely hard concepts extremely easy to understand. She is very fair in her grading and is always there to help you if you're having problems. The best math professor I've ever taken.

Professor is one of the nicest that I've met. She really seems to care about her students. The content itself is somewhat easy. She does give you ample time for homework, gives lots of examples, notes, and reviews, and tests are graded fairly. HOWEVER, it is a Math class, and you have to do your part- STUDY! but that goes for any math class.

I'd failed math so much I was loosing hope (and $) I met Prof. Laurice & she made me want 2 try. I failed again & wanted 2 quit school. But Prof. Laurice said I didn't feel U were ready. U would've struggled & I would've felt awful. My job is 2 prepare my students the best I can so they'll succeed. When they do I'm so proud. I passed that spring.

Great teacher good sense of humor!! does not let you use any material for test no make-up tests either but the final can count for a test with the lowest grade. Also HW counts as a test as well. Slightly teaches fast especially after the 2nd test. Take notes and pay attention and you should be fine. Attendance is preferred.

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST, MOST HELPFUL AND SWEETEST MATH TEACHER I'VE EVER HAD! All of her notes are on the Edison Portal. So, if you miss a class you can print the notes out online. Tests are extremely easy if you do the test reviews. She'll help you with ANYTHING. I would take her class again in a heartbeat. I loved her!!

Prof. Garrett is really good. Very clear but if you want the A you better work for it. She does not give it away. Tests can be tricky so make sure you KNOW the material. She will help you get there. Don't buy the textbook. It's already in MyMathLab.Use her office hours. Very helpful.

She is a super teacher the book is not needed if you do the homework and attend class. She gives reveiws before all test so you can practice it is hard not to get an A if you use the resources that are at the school to use.

Instead of standing there lecturing about the material, she dissects every which way a problem could occur. She is extremely helpful. Her method of teaching is really clear and understanding (a process most math classes should be). We did practice every day all class long to solidify the material. I would highly recommend her for ANY math class.

Professor Garrett is great! I took her for Intermediate Algebra and College Algebra. She is very easy going and always willing to answer any questions that you may have. All reviews are very helpful for all of her test. Book is not required as you will have an electronic version once you purchase my labs plus code.

She is one of the best teachers at Edison. She loves Math and loves to teach. Easy going personality and easy to understand. She uses the smartboard to its full function, and posts all the things she does on the board to a file for you to look over later and download! This way you can pay attention and still be able to look at notes! She is great!

GREAT PROFESSOR! Took her for college algebra. She goes over the content very well and always will stay on a topic if there is questions. Homework due weekly but at the end of the semester your homework grades get put in as a test grade (easy 100). If you do better on her final than a test she replaces the test grade with the final grade

This one was one of the most helpful and sweet professors I have had. She explains the material very well and truly cares to know that her students understand. Textbook was not used. She even replaces your lowest grade with your final grade. I highly recommend her. :)

There are a lot of assignments. Clearly explains how to do problems. Sometimes extends homework if class doesn't understand. If you are good at math, you will pass if you don't really attend class. All homework is online.

If you're not good at math like I am, Pr. Garrett is great. She's helpful and tries to break the problem down so you can understand it. She assigns HW every night which are sometimes long. Only has 4 tests but are somewhat difficult. Super sweet and a tad corny in a cute way. Don't need the textbook, if you do it's on mylabsplus.

Liberal math was not my thing but she made it easy to understand. She is a wonderful professor and will be there for you if you need extra help.

She really cares for her students and whether or not we actually understand the material. She takes the time to answer everyone's questions on homework or throughout the lesson. She is always ready to help a student. There is a homework assignment each class but the next class she will go over it with you! She was always cheerful even at 8am.

Professor Garrett is super sweet and cares about her students. She makes herself available and loves when you ask questions. Attendance is not mandatory, but if you don't go the material will become difficult to understand. Right now I'm struggling to maintain a C and it is because I missed class during the chapter on sets and unions.

Professor Garrett is a great teacher. Liberal arts math overall is the way to go if you want to get an easy math requirement out of the way. The class consists of a lot of homework as any other math class but the material is generally very easy and professor Garrett helps make it even easier. Easy A for most people

I love, love, loved this professor! she was absolutely amazing. She wouldn't stop trying until she knew that the material was fully understood by the class. I wish she taught college algebra, unfortunately not. Homework every night, tests are as simple as possible only a few not multiple choice, lecture heavy... shes amazing would take again ! 3

She is a great teacher. She really does help you pass and wants to the best for you. She teaches in a way that isn't to lecture heavy, she actually interacts and stops and asks if everyone is on board with what was just taught. She also gives great feedback on test. I failed her first 2 tests (suck at test) and she helped me understand better.

Professor Garrett goes above and beyond to help her student understand the materials and make sure they pass. She would take around 15 minutes before class and go over any problems that the students would have trouble with and help them solve them. She gets her students involved with the lessons. All of the examples are from the homework she assign
