I got a D on mine when I did everything she asked, and now I'm not sure how my final grade is in the class.

Dr. King is great! The class requires a little bit of work for the CTAP and online quizzes, but an A won't be hard to achieve. She's very funny and likes group work. You can exempt the final if you get an A.

She is so funny and really makes you interested. If you put forth effort you'll be guaranteed an A(and if you have an A you dont have to take the exam). Got a 100% on the CTAP, because she was thorough and gave us a "cheat sheet". She is just overall a great teacher. TAKE HER

Very intelligent person. Her way of teaching is simple but to the point. I can tell she has lots of experience in her field and she provides examples. Very strict on tardiness and cell phones, which in my mind is great. I would take any class with her teaching.

AWESOME TEACHER! The online class was pretty easy. She displayed all the information you needed to pass the class clearly and gave great feedback. As long as you read the material and looked at the power points and jings, you should get an A in the class. I had a baby mid-semester, and she was very understanding and helpful.

Pretty generous grading if you follow all the directions. Listen to the jings about the papers for sure Workload isn't too heavy on non paper weeks. Probably better not to spend time read the book every week as midterm concepts are pretty easy but you might get caught up by not remembering a specific definition if you read it 5 weeks earlier.

Great teacher! CTAP was a breeze, just follow the instructions and you will get an A. Gives you up to 30 extra credit points for doing articles. Love that you don't have to take the final exam if you have an A.

Ms. King is a great teacher. I took her online. She was easy and the instructions she gives was clear. It is an easy A, if you do all the work and study for the exam. There's discussions, quizzes and review questions each week so make sure to do them or else you'll regret it. There's extra credit and 2 major papers.

I would recommend this teacher. Each week you have a discussion post, questions, and quiz. Ctap paper was time consuming but I followed all the directiosn and jings and did well on it.

This teacher makes the Ctap not as bad as it could be. I was really dreading the Ctap but its not bad as long as you follow the directions she gives. She is funny and the class discussions are usually fun. Take her class and follow the directions and you'll be fine.

This semester I took 3 online courses and Prof King was AMAZINGLY AWESOME! I can only imagine her to be doubly so in the classroom! You have a lot of work crammed in for summer. I'm considering how to fit in another of her classes even though it would be outside of my program - she truly makes you think and is totally there for her students!

Dr. King was amazing. She was my first face to face class. I had a blended class (online and face to face). Assignments are due every Sunday @ 11 pm. Quizzes are 5 easy questions, open book, but no retakes. 2 major papers which were VERY EASY. I got an A on both papers. No need to take final if you have an A in class. I loved Dr. King!!

I am three fourths of the way through her online Applied Ethics class, and am taking a total a four classes. Her class is by far my favorite. However, there are quite a few assignments every week, but if you read what you're suppose to and put in the time, they're all very easy to score high on.

Mrs. King definitely has a no nonsense teaching approach but she does enjoy being a teacher and can adequately teach and instruct students. She cares. She knows how to teach and you will learn what you need to learn in her class just be prepared to give it your all in her class. She expects nothing else than this effort.

just read the textbook or look up the assignment then read what is needed. midterm is about two types of theories you learn and you must know to pass this exam but I found it very simple. NO CTAP. if you try and turn in everything on time correct format you can skip final so keep up. other than that just discussions dropbox and quizzes

Dr. King is a very good teacher. In all her lectures she does a great job summing up what the chapter is about. Her assignments are pretty difficult since the textbook she uses walks around the topic. She expects full detailed thoughts written on paper, no short cuts! However she gives the opportunity for extra credit each week,DO THE EXTRA CREDIT

I took professor King online. There was a good load of homework but this is college you shouldn't expect less. There's quizzes due every week and you will need the book. She really focuses on your mindset when you turn in work. She responds to emails fast and is very helpful.

Dr. King is a wonderful teacher. She does assign long and lengthy assignments, but I learned a lot and they were interesting topics. She is very clear of what she expects and she is very organized. She posts everything in the beginning of the semester so you can work ahead if you want. Extra credit is available and she does care about your success.

This is a very easy online course. Everything is spelled out in the course syllabus and you can work ahead. Very heavy in writing assignments. Every week was an essay and every week is a chapter quiz but the quizzes are easy and all open book. The textbook is definitely needed. Received little feedback because all my assignments were correct.

This class requires you to stay on top of your assignments. Definitely not a class you can get behind on. There are papers every week, but it's not hard, she's very lenient. I struggled with the quizzes, even though it is open book, the answers can be difficult to find. Definitely a very fair professor and offered extra credit.

Strengths of this course: A+ communication from Professor King, clear breakdown and strategic set up of assignments, Professor King was always 100% prompt with grading and feedback. This class does require you to write more papers than usual and it does require attention to assignments as she expects knowledgeable responses and effort.

I think it takes a certain attitude to teach ethics well in the world today. Dr. King has it. She is clear and concise, fair and demanding. Good class. And the text was much better than I had hoped.

This professor may seem "tough" based on her syllabus and requirements, however this class can be easy as long as you are prepared to work. As with her requirements from you as a student, the criteria for each assignment is extremely clear. This professor also gives great feedback when needed to assist you with bettering your future grades.

Going back to school after 30 years was difficult. I learned a lot from Dr. King. She made the class enjoyable and relative to the real world. It took some getting used to in the grading and learning what is required, but ask and she will tell you. Keep up with the class schedule and you will do fine. I never met her in person, you should!

While there was a good amount of reading required, the grading was fair and the assignments were easy. The professor provided grading rubics, examples, and was very detailed with her assignment requirements. Weekly emails were sent out, and the midterm included questions relatable to the lessons and assignments.

I really enjoyed the class, learning, and Dr. King. I had a little problem fully understanding one of our assignments. Dr. King gladly allowed me to attend a class to get a better understanding. I attended her class and thoroughly enjoyed it. Seeing her teaching her class showed a lot about her and helped me to receive a grade of 94 in her class.

While most of the class is spent listening to her lecture from the textbook, we do often have little projects or presentations to give. She makes it fun and low stress! Dr. King is an excellent professor at St. Pete college. I took Applied Ethics with her at the Seminole campus and was delightfully surprised that a required class would be so fun and interesting. Dr. King did a great job of explaining all of the material, and was a very good lecturer. Her class really made me think and inspired me to be more kind.

The weekly homework involves reading a chapter, watching a few videos on the subject (btw, great talks by professors from SPC!), a quizz (10 questions, unlimited time, one attempt) and a written assignment ( Discussions/ Dropboxes). I leaned so much from this course. Clarity of directions needs some improvement. Overal Great class!

I took the accelerated summer course and during that time there was a moderate to heavy amount of work due. If you complete all of your work on time and in the correct format you automatically get a 100% on Final Exam. Dr. King gave great feedback and it was obvious she wanted us to succeed in this course. I would definitely take her again.

Dr. King made the 8 week summer course feel stress free and calmly paced. When there was a small hurricane and 4ofJuly weekend in the middle of the midterm (the biggest grade in class), she provided an extension and made all deadlines very clear. I missed 2 HW assignments out of 8 (one each module) did 1/4 opportunities for ExCred & got a 85%

Dr. King is amazing, my first honors class! The tests every week are a little hard because you only get one attempt. The extra credit opportunities make up for that and allow me to not stress about getting perfect scores on every test. She is amazing and we sometimes end class a little early if the lesson is taught.

Dr. King's PUP3054 class was informational and thought provoking. She gives you the whole week to get the assignments complete. Two assignments a week (I think there was a week or two where we had 3 assignments), a project (simple, if you tackle it early), a midterm, and a final. The assignments are the bread and butter!

My class was dead silent besides myself and two other students. Dr. King still kept the same energy and enthusiasm every class and gave a lecture full of her personality no matter what. Gotta admire the confidence and tenacity.

Professor King does a great job outlining the class in the syllabus before you begin. You have to complete a short 10 question quiz for a chapter each week, a writing assignment (easy to complete if you read the textbook and watch the videos given to you), and sometimes a discussion post. It is hard to fail this class.

Great professor, I've met someone who thought she was a little strict but I never saw anything unreasonable, don't use your phone in class, she isn't mean about it. She cares about everyone's opinions, has week long due dates, is always open to ideas and never harshly rejects your thoughts. Easy A if you do the work, the work is evenly paced.

Very clear online class, there were a variety of assignments such as discussions, readings, and dropbox writing assignments. The online textbook merged with the school's online course, which made it very easy to access specific assignments, which were separated into modules. Professor checked in every week to give directions and overview. :)

She likes to make students do group activities in class sometimes. The workload isn't big; sometimes you don't have any work for the week, sometimes you have one or two assignments for the week. Professor King is an excellent teacher of Ethics and her introductory course on the subject is sufficiently thorough while also being reasonable, both in terms of expectations and grading criteria, for a college-level introductory course. A complete newbie to ethics will find the course enlightening and rigorous, and a philosophy buff will enjoy it

Professor King is a great online instructor. She replies to emails quickly and sends regular reminders about upcoming assignments. She is a fair grader and seems to care about her students.

She is really kind and didn't seem to get annoyed easily.

Great professor, interesting class. We only had one written assignment and quiz due per week. There were 4 extra credit assignments, which will raise your grade by an entire letter. Dr. King was nice and responsive through emails.

This class and the professor was wonderful. The smart book questions were helpful for the lessons and the professor was very attentive.

Great course

Professor is very understanding and give clear instruction for criteria. Does have weekly assignments. Offer extra credit but if you read and keep up with the material you can pass without doing any extra credit. If I could take her again for a different subject I would take her again.
